“But she doesn’t like it here sir.” Tim managed under a dying voice going memory lane. Keisha despised dancing at the club but she had done it to put food on their table. His gruesome attempts to make her go back and failed but unwittingly he had plunged her into it once more because of his greed. Damon was the kind of man no one will want to be in his bad books and he always had what he wanted.

“That will be up to me Tim…you have played your part, I couldn’t be more pleased.” He declared callously with the sort of confidence that he always spoke with. “Now if I must…Ladies and gentlemen, allow me propose a toast.” He said at the top of his voice, getting the attention of the entire club. Sparkling penumbra beams decorated his face that glowed with smile that came on only such occasions. “To the return of our best dancer …Keisha.” His voice echoed in every corner of the crowded hall.

“To Keisha…” The crowd shouted in union each one classing glasses with those closer to them in an excitement that was eminent in the eagerness to have Keisha back.

“Lynx…get Keisha at once. She will perform tonight.” A serious gaze possessed his countenance as Lynx left the hall. Tim watched the huge and broad shouldered bodyguard exit the club and his expression remained bleak. What had he done to his niece? His eyes spoke his innermost fears in detail.

“Enjoy the party brother.” Damon mocked and vividly gulped from the glass of wine that cupped his hands.” Tim released his body mass on a buggy that was close to him. He drenched into a moment of retrospection and managed a somewhat sober expression. He was grateful Damon had demanded for Keisha which he could easily comply. What if it was something he couldn’t afford? His subconscious assured him that he had made the right decision. “You couldn’t have done otherwise Tim.” His subconscious intervened immediately. “No one dares Damon and you know it.” He assured inwardly, taking a deep breath to digest the danger he had narrowly escaped.

Tim’s house broke open at the impulse of a hard kick from Lynx. Two other boys stood outside with eyes that guarded the compound incase Keisha tried to escape.

“Who are you?” Shock ran through Keisha’s veins. She was adorned in a beautiful black dress carefully designed with breathtaking crystals. Her hair fell in a neat braid behind her back and her partial makeup was classic. She had been preparing to go out on a date before the unprecedented arrival of Damon’s tugs.

“You are just in time honey.” Lynx provoked sweetly, playing admiring glances that spelt the level of attraction she induced. Her hips carved out neatly from the robe which was made from very thin fabrics giving her a seductive appeal.

“You haven’t answered my question. Who are you and how did you get into this house.” She demanded trying not to expose the heightened fright that had possessed her bones. She could literary pass out but she managed to keep her cool as she didn’t want to give the seemingly aggressive stranger an edge over her.

“That’s not important. Hurry up, you are needed somewhere.” He declared in a nonchalant manner which indicated that he cared less about her feelings and her opinion at the time.

“I’m not going anywhere with you. I should be a lunatic to comply with your insanity.” She argued with a bravery that was epic.

“Hurry up, I won’t ask you again.” He thundered. At this Keisha panicked and her sub conscious began to cry. The guy looked untamed and she noticed there was two more of his caliber outside. What had they come for? Could they have come for Tim? She wondered. She recognized Lynx immediately she dared to inspect his face. Her heart fell in her stomach as she processed the information that was transmitted to her brain. He was one of Damon’s boys. He wanted her and she tried to explore the possible options that would unwittingly plunge her into Damon’s world once again.

“Where are you taking me?” She defied her subconscious that was literary begging for mercy. She was trying to buy time to see if there was any way she could make her narrow escape but all options seemed closed.

“No more questions.” Lynx’s patience ran out and instantly she swept her off her feet before she had the last chance to complete her partially done make up.

“Let me go.” She screamed waggling her legs hitting Lynx’s balls. He managed to place her on the ground and tied a handkerchief over her mouth to stop her yelling. He grabbed her by the hand dragging her to the car while the other two guys followed with guns clenched to their jeans and warning gazes that depicted they wouldn’t hesitate to shoot should she try to play smart. She resisted moving and Lynx dragged her forcefully. She emitted an angry gaze at him and then in a split second kicked his balls very hard.

“Ouch…you bitch.” He groaned holding his testicles in anguish, to release some steam. She bit into his hand as he pinned a grip on her with a menacing grin. “How dare you?” Lynx slapped her with a furry that was meant to sentence her to death and almost immediately she passed out.

  Chapter 6

Keisha was brought to one of the rooms in club. It was decorated with expensive red fabric giving it a romantic and exquisite touch. She let out a quiet groan moving her head slowly. She had been unconscious for about an hour and her mind was clouded. She could barely recognize where she was as she fought with her partly blurred vision.

“The princess is finally awake.” A silly smile ran across Damon’s face as she managed to get up from the huge bed where she lay. Damon sat on a long white couch that nestled towards the window and eyed her seductively lighting a stick of cigarette.

“What do you want from me?” Her eyes formed tears immediately she realized she was in La Salsa. Damon didn’t want to hurt her otherwise she wouldn’t have survived the unconsciousness to tell the tale.

“Nothing you can’t handle my little darling.” He smiled and glided from the couch to the bed. At this, Keisha vividly drifted to the edge of the bed, leaning on the wall, looking for an escape route. The man fancied her and that was not good at all. She had never imagined in her wildest dreams that she would ever be in such a predicament. How was she going to refuse his advances? He wielded so much wealth that he had made himself a god and wrapped the law behind his little finger. Getting into bed with the rich lord was perhaps the ticket she needed to escape the clutches of poverty and her uncle but it was a temptation that could make her a sex slave all her life. Damon went with straight girls and only God knew what he did to make them very submissive to him.

“Don’t come close.” Keisha insisted as she saw him smiling.

“I’m not going to bite you. In case you want to know why you are here, Tim placed your freedom on a bet.” He said simply, trying to sound modest which was unlike him.

  “A bet?” Keisha demanded.

“Yes honey…a bet. If I were you I will act nicely and do what I’m told. You wouldn’t want to get on my bad side now, will you?” Damon boasted.

“Now I understand where this is all going.” Keisha responded, nodding her head trying to give the impression that she was willing to comply with his demands. She needed to device the best tactic to distract him and buy some time. He not only wanted her as a dancer in his bar, but also as toy for his sexual perverseness. She played seductive smiles that fooled him momentarily while her brain began processing numerous strategies that would enable her escape his clutches without raising any dust.

He smiled back at her and moved back to the couch, perhaps satisfied that he didn’t have to do more to win his price. He blocked his gaze on her attractive thighs that stretched on the bed. She managed with a sort of courage to demand for a drink. She tricked him into believing that she wanted to get into the mood with a bottle of wine. This singular act heightened his excitement as well as his desire to devour the beautiful brunette. She was so attractive and only a few men could resist her charms and unfortunately Damon didn’t fall in that category. She flung the bathroom open immediately Damon exited to get the bottle of wine. She rushed towards the main door to see if it was open but she was not disappointed either when she found it locked, that was typic
al of Damon. He was the smartest guy she had ever known.

She rushed back into the vast bathroom and her eyes caught something that looked like an opening on the ceiling and she leapt for joy. With eyes anxious and afraid, she began to climb the tiles. She stood on the toilet pot and then on the septic tank and in a mild crash she was back on the floor. Immediately she was on her feet again and repeated the process, this time making progress as she hinged her arm to the iron rod where the towels hung. Her breath stiffened and she continued climbing steadily. She placed her legs cautiously to avoid another fall and then the suite door screeched open, frightening her.

Damon’s gaze vividly scanned the room and immediately he was heading for the bathroom door. Keisha was midway in her escape and then he called her. She responded and told him she was bathing in a shaky tone that almost raised suspicion as he paused with curious eye rolling. She managed with the slippery walls and at last her hands found the open space. She grabbed the small opening and managed with her legs. He opened the expensive bottle of Italian champagne and poured it into two champagne glasses and nestled impatiently on the couch.

He called for her wondering why she was taking too long to come out. She answered as she ascended into the ceiling under an unstable croak in a stiffened breathe. She stumbled over some things on the ceiling and Damon heard a loud sound. He rushed into bathroom to see what was going on and to his dismay there was a vent.

“Jesus Christ.” He exclaimed, rushing out of the suite. He streamed down the stairs in thundering steps and motioned Lynx to see him. He spoke something into his ears and then immediately Lynx called for the other boys. They exited La Salsa heading towards the back of the building. Keisha stood on the roof looking down in as scare that mapped her face. Her feet shook at the thought of jumping. She heard voices and without waste she skipped, sustaining a mild sprain of her leg. She let out a slight moan, leaping into a nearby bush. She heard voices and immediately she took to her heels once again.

She took frantic steps and at the impulse Lynx and the others trailed her. They ran into the night while she raced and hid into a small mesh of grass. Lynx came and stood on the spot where she hid with popping eyes that scanned the bush. Something bit her and she gasped for more air catching Lynx attention. She pressed her eyes hard to suppress the tension that was mounting from within. Lynx’s legs thundered with peering eyes that searched the place thoroughly. He went forward followed by the others. They returned after about thirty minutes of searching infuriating Damon. He urged them to go and fetch her at her uncle’s place. They left with immediate effect while Damon stood in an impatience that possessed him.

Keisha opened the door gently and her eyes fell on the snoring Tim who had probably been drinking all night. She played an angry smirk at him tiptoeing into her bedroom. Her leg hurt so much that she needed to rest for a while. Lynx and his boys had come to the house in search of her. They had ram shackled the entire house and her heart skipped in fright. She entered into her room and dozed off as she nestled on a small metallic chair that stood by her bed side. Her eyes looked pale from so much crying as she must have wounded her leg really badly.

The silent night imposed its horror into their small apartment as Tim rose from his slumber. He found himself lucky that Lynx and the boys hadn’t found him otherwise he would have been singing a different song. He glided in mild steps to Keisha’s room. The magnificent beauty had fallen asleep with her thighs exposed causing Tim to desire her. He guarded his steps to ensure that she didn’t wake up before he could impose himself on her. She was so enticing that he was willing to rape her if necessary. His hands waved over her face to ensure that she was deep in her sleep and she made no signs of consciousness. He licked his lips perversely pinning her hands to the chair in a manner that woke her up.

“Don’t kill me …don’t kill me.” She screamed in delusion. She thought it was Damon’s boys that had come to fetch her.

“Hey pretty…calm down.” Tim assured in eyes that wanted her badly.

“Uncle…” She yelled with eyes that warned his abominable act. “What do you think you are doing?” She asked trying to release her hand from his gruesome grip. He pushed his head towards her, trying to kiss her by force while she pushed her body backwards, dodging his ridiculous advances. “You have started again.” She yelled. Apparently this wasn’t his first attempt and she had hoped that the devil in him will finally go away someday but from all indication, he was far from becoming normal.

“Don’t you want it? I know you like it…you are only playing hard to get.” Tim continued pushing his luck. He pressed his mouth over her hilly breast and immediately Keisha jerked one of her hands out, hitting him hard on his head. He let out a loud groan and gave her a hot spank. She fought with one hand and kicked him on the balls making him cry the more. She tried to run out of the room but Tim held her ankles and she crashed on the floor hitting her mouth. Blood oozed out of her mouth and she groaned with eyes that searched the surrounding.

Tim held tightly to the hurting leg and she shattered a bottle of whisky over his head. The pain in his heart made him lessen his grip on her leg and she ran out of the house bare foot. She raced the empty streets and crossed to the other looking behind to make sure she wasn’t followed. Tim lay on the floor with blood oozing out of his head while he lamented in a series of curses.

  Chapter 7

The silence of the night ushered fear into her soul. She had been running for over an hour and from her deduction she was lost. The rushing breeze flagged her mane of brown hair while she managed to arrange the straying strands. It had been such a long and distressing day for her and she could barely think straight. She knew Damon would not rest until he had had a hold of her. She was now homeless with no friend and family to count on. She didn’t know where her cell phone was as she had lost it during the hassle of her escape. She was expecting Tessa’s call and worry brushed her mind at the thought that she was going to lose contact with her.

Disappointment encompassed her distressed face as she thought of how she would contact her sister once again. What a cruel twist of fate she thought. She had endured so many harsh moments with her uncle because she wanted Tessa to return for them to be one big happy family but she could take exceptions to everything not slavery. Her uncle had sold her out to Damon without a second thought as to what would become her fate. That was the height of his cruelty and she swore never to return to him again. Their mother was in jail and if she were to be free someday, she will be thankful to God. She needed a new life and she was going to get it no matter how challenging it would be.

She crossed the main road that seemed deserted with a blurry vision that almost cost her life. A black Maserati stopped abruptly while the driver yelled for her to cross the road.

“Are you crazy…do you want to get yourself killed?” Malcolm asked climbing down the driver seat. Worry brushed his face as he pushed her to leave the road. She practically stood dazed, with perhaps the intention that she should have been knocked off. Life had become a nightmare and she found few reasons to carry on.

“I’m sorry.” She responded, moving to the pedestrians’ path.

“You better be…man, let’s get the hell out of here, the boss is waiting.” Martin yelled from the car.

“Are you okay Miss? Malcolm managed to look at her face from the thick mesh of hair that walled her pale cheeks. His eyes searched hers and he saw a sadness that was remarkable. “Is there a problem?” Malcolm hesitated but finally took her hands. She looked at him shocked that he dared to touch her. His eyes were lovely and the way he looked at her, no one had ever done so. He was handsome but he looked like a tug and they were in a very lonely road. She had been through so much trouble that could last her a lifetime and she wouldn’t be so blind to trust a stranger.

“I’m okay.” She hesitated and then responded.

“Did you hear that? The girl is alright but the boss won’t be if we don’t report to him
right away.” Martin responded harshly. “Don’t tell me you are trying to be her night and shining armor dude?” He mocked but Malcolm ignored him completely. He was a complete jerk and never failed to behave like one at all times.

“But you look pale.” Malcolm insisted as Keisha started walking away, limping. He watched with great concern. “Is there anything we could do to help?” He insisted trailing her.

“I’m fine…” She responded and before she could finish speaking she passed out, dropping on the road.

Malcolm ran towards her, taking her into his arms. She looked too beautiful and his heart reached out to her. He had never felt so concerned about anyone his entire life. She was different and he felt a great need to help her if that was what she needed. She looked like she had been involved in a fight of some sort or probably running away from someone.

“What are you doing dude?” Martin came out of the car, inspecting Keisha who lay almost lifeless on Malcolm’s arm like a fallen angel. She looked tired but her beauty was no match for any other. “Wow she sure is a goddess.” Martin teased; the likes of him didn’t know when to stop. Lousiness was his watchword and his callousness was epic.

“Will you just stop talking and help me get her to the car?” Malcolm reprimanded wedging his brows upwards.

“What? I hope it’s not what I’m thinking? Martin asked. “We need to get go man.” Immediately Malcolm’s phone started ringing, he looked at the caller ID and it was his boss. He shoved the phone into his pocket and implored Martin to stop spouting rubbish.

“Let’s get the hell out of here man.” Martin protested. The next thing his phone started ringing and it was their big boss. “It’s Damon, leave her alone and let’s bounce.” Martin tucked him, trying to remove Keisha from his hands.

“But we can’t leave her like this? He argued. “She needs help” He insisted.
