Country Secrets

"Do you want to come wife?” I taunt.

"Mmm...But husband?" She muses propping herself up on her elbows.

  "Yes, wife?"

"You have too many clothes on."

She stands up, pressing her body against mine, grinding against me as her hands brush my Adam's apple, before slowly undoing my bow tie, a seductive smile on her lips.

Her fingers move lower, undoing each button of my shirt and slipping into my pants as I shake my jacket and shirt off.

I fumble with my belt desperately wanting to discard my pants and underwear to be fully naked to make love to her.

Hooking my fingers in the sides of both I plunge them down my legs, stepping out of them when they reach the floor.

Savannah grabs my hardness in her grip and I gasp at the contact.

“Mmm, you take my breath away husband,” she teases.

"So do you wife,” I tease back in response reaching around her back to unhook her bra.

She lets it fall to the floor.

  "So fucking beautiful."

There’s silence between us, our eyes searching each others, looking at each other's nakedness like it’s the first time we've seen each other bare.

Cupping her cheeks in my palms I crush my lips to hers in a zealous kiss, licking her lips and moaning into her mouth as she gives me entrance to lace my tongue with hers. It’s the most desperate consuming kiss we've shared and panting I pull away overwhelmed at the sparkle in her eyes when she temptingly says, "Make love to me Hunter."

She sits back on the side of the bed, edging back on it and beckoning me to her with a finger, biting her lip hard.

I dive at her, as she pulls back the bed covers, sliding into the crimson red satin sheets and giggling. Slipping under the sheets beside her I pull her body to mine and kiss her hard, our bodies entangling themselves together until I’m on top of her, my dick pressing into her stomach.

Breaking the kiss, she asks desperately, her tone raspy, breathless, "Please Hunter make love to me."

“Ohhhh...Savannah," I murmur, gliding myself into her waiting body, not wanting to be apart from her for another second.

As I enter her, she moans. “Hunter. Oh…Hunter.”

She’s bucking her hips up to meet mine as I slowly thrust in and out of her. Her core is deliciously wet and her moans are guttural and drive me wild with longing for her.

Pushing harder into her I stretch over her chest taking her mouth in a consuming kiss, burying myself inside her and slowing my thrusts as I devour her mouth with mine.

Wrapping her legs around my arse she pushes me further in, as far as possible, truly making us one before breaking away from the kiss.

"Make me come Hunter," she says illicitly.

"Oh Savannah, I want to make you come so bad baby,” I muse, almost pulling all the way out before thrusting back into her hard, making her gasp in pleasure.

Continuing the slow in and out pleasure of making love to her I watch the way her body responds, her hips meeting mine, her chest rising and falling and I revel in the sweet moans she’s making.

Her breathing turns to panting and I can feel her beginning to twitch around me.

Clutching the sheets in fists she screams out, "Hunter I'm coming, oh Hunter, fuck, I'm coming."

Her whole core clenches around me, her squirting hot climax over my hardness still buried inside her. It drives me to explode into her, in ecstasy and I scream out, “Oh fuck Savannah, I love you."

Sliding out of her I pull her close to my side, kissing her sweetly.

“That was incredible my beautiful wife."

"Better then incredible, it was phenomenal my handsome husband."

"Oh yes it was...and you know what?" I tease her tickling the sensitive skin of her stomach.

  "No what?" She giggles.

"I think you squirted, baby,” I tease huskily whispering in her ear.

"Oh Hunter, shit really?" She says embarrassed, her cheeks flushing as crimson as the sheets.

"Oh yes, Savannah and it was so damn hot I'm planning on making you do it again and again.”

"Sounds like..oh,” She gasps as I’ve already slid under the sheets pressing a kiss to her entrance, ready to make her come again.

Our wedding night has only just begun and I plan on making her come over and over again, not just this night but every night I damn well can for the rest of our lives.

Savannah makes my life complete, she’s now my wife and I love her with all my heart. That will never be a country secret.

  About the Author

Caz May is a librarian/teacher by trade, but was always destined to be an author from a young age. In her spare time, she can be found devouring books or writing her own stories with characters that may not be the typical romance heroes but are loveable just as much.

Caz is married to her own real-life bearded hero and has two fur babies.

She lives for Iced coffee, especially from Gloria Jeans or a Farmers Union but pretty much just loves food in general.

When she’s not writing, or reading a book most likely she can probably be found asleep or binge-watching shows on Netflix.

  Acknowledgments

Well, here we are! Acknowledgements for the first book in this series!

I honestly don’t have many acknowledgements for this book, but I definitely need to give a big shoutout to my first readers of this book on Wattpad.

Most importantly Felicity Vaughan who with her best friend has published her amazing paranormal romance novel ‘Edge of the Veil’. She was one of the first people I connected with on Wattpad, who first read this book and gave me encouragement with my writing from the very beginning. Go check out her book on Amazon and her Wattpad page for other books. You won’t be disappointed.

I also need to give a big shoutout to my amazing Nanna, to whom this book is dedicated. I spent many hours as a child at her farm, where my Mum grew up. Hunter’s farm is based on my grandparents farm and Ridgehope although a fictional town is based on Pinnaroo in outback South Australia. I have such fond memories of the time I spent there and have included lots of that in this story.

Also, I’ve found some amazing new readers through Instagram, who are eager to read every book I write. Ang, Nicole and Karen, thank you for your support and reviews that make my heart happy.

And lastly, as usual I need to thank my rock, my amazing, super supportive hero Cam. He is the perfect husband, and no book boyfriend could ever measure up to him.

Anyway, that’s all from me! For now!

  The Mackenney Family Saga

  (Addison’s story)

  Coming Soon

  See below for a teaser

  (Prologue) Addison

Seeing Hunter at the end of the aisle, a stupid grin on his face makes my heart constrict.

I should have been walking towards him, in a big white dress, not the ruby red strapless one I have on.

But I’m not the one marrying him.

I’m the Maid of Honour for his wedding to someone else.

  And it’s truly painful.

It wasn't as though I could have refused when he'd asked for me to a part of his special day.

Savannah, his soon to be any minute wife didn't really have any friends in town since leaving her past behind in the city and stumbling into Hunter's farmhouse nearly two years ago.

Plus it isn't that I hate her. I can't. She’s just too sweet.

And I’m around them a lot more than I want to be at times, as I’m godmother to their gorgeous son River.

I swear I've never seen a kid that looks so much like his father.

The kid is gorgeous, just like his Dad Hunter is.

Get a grip Addison. Seriously, you're not the one marrying him.

Taking a deep breathe I start to tentatively walk down the aisle, scanning the crowd for my older brother Jett. He hadn't really wanted to attend his ex-best friends wedding, but I called him to come along, desperate for the moral support.

It also doesn't help that I’m also stuck being partnered up for the wedding with Hunter's annoying, but somewhat attractive younger brother Quentin.

We'd slept together a year or so ago, and it was pretty damn hot, but he'd had to make it complicated by confessing he was in love with me.

Part of me knew I should have gone along with his advances and given him a chance.

Or even taken a chance with someone else.

But I can't let go of his older brother, even now as he’s about to marry someone else.

I sigh, realising I'd reached the front of the aisle.

I step to the side, feeling Hunter's gaze on me.

I plaster a fake smile on face, mentally telling myself to suck it up.

  He is marrying someone else.

  I need to move on.

  (1) Zane

Getting posted to Ridgehope Hospital, six hours from the city was just what I needed.

There was too much pain everywhere I turned in Adelaide, and always that hope that Amy would walk back in the door, like she'd never left.

It wasn't that I blamed her for leaving me, but still it hurt like a bitch.

It was though our wedding vows meant nothing to her. In sickness and in health she'd promised, but she apparently only promised health, not sickness.

I couldn't think about her leaving me know though.

I was in Ridgehope for a new start and the country air was welcoming the minute I drove up to the rundown house on the outskirts of the quaint one main street town. It needed some TLC but it was roof over my head and I was unlikely to be spending much time there anyway.

That was another reason Amy had left me. Apparently I was married to my job.

I was hoping that moving a small town like Ridgehope might make that less likely to happen. Not that it really mattered now when I was single and heartbroken from her walking out on me three months earlier.

I was after a fresh start, although I was hesitant about getting to know the people of such a small town. No one, except my close family and friends knew me in Adelaide, but here it seemed everyone would know my name.

I wasn't sure if I was ready for that.

Come on Zane, put your big boy pants on.

I have to suck it up, and get out of the car.

My brand new black V8 Ford Mustang seems a little out of place in this town, but I love her and I’m hoping the cops aren't anal about speeding, as I plan to take her out for a speedy drive down the back roads and really run the engine in.

Ok, Zane, big boy pants, get out of the car.

I open the door slowly, stepping out, scanning my surroundings, taking in everything I can. I press the button for the boot and it springs open, revealing my two suitcases.

I'd not brought much with me, just some basic everyday clothes, underwear and a few black slacks and white shirts. The hospital would have brand new scrubs to wear and I often didn't wear them when not in surgery anyway.

Wheeling my two suitcases towards the house is quite a feat in the soft red dirt. It’s wispy and feels like it’s getting everywhere, under my clothes, through my hair and in my fucking eyes. It stings like pins stabbing me, but I blink hard, desperate to get inside the house.

Thankfully I'd not needed to worry about furniture as the house is fully furnished and quite pleasantly too. Dropping the suitcases inside the door I race straight to find the bathroom to flush the dirt from my eyes.

Looking at my eyes in the mirror, they are bloodshot, my face sporting a serious five o'clock shadow and bags under my eyes so dark you could mistake them for two lovely black eyes.

I've not slept for days, worried about the move, but also feeling some pains in my legs that have me worried too.

It’s only mid afternoon, but I need sleep.

Stumbling down the hallway, only just able to see out of my dirt irritated eyes I search for the bedroom, falling against the bed the minute I see it.

I drift to sleep, thinking about what the hospital might be like when I start there tomorrow.
