“In your dreams, Detective,” Gabe said, an added spring in his step as he thought about the forthcoming hours. “In your dreams.”

  * * * *

Gabe was stripping as he entered, but Justin was practically undressed. His shirt was off. His jeans were unsnapped. Curt hung back and shut the door, admiring the woman they thought of as their own.

“I wasn’t expecting you,” Heather said, tossing aside a book and easing away from the bed. Topless and wearing only a thong, she was a little tease and Curt had always loved her for it.

“You just hang around your room like this?” Gabe popped her bottom in passing before drawing the curtains. “I guess no one told you there are cameras out there.”

“You’re kidding,” she said, her mouth falling open. “I didn’t know.”

“Sure you did,” Curt said, wanting to spank her ass for giving someone a show. “Tell me you haven’t been playing without us?”

“I was just now thinking about it,” she drawled, tucking her arms around Justin’s back as he bracketed his thin limbs around her waist and lowered her to the bed.

Now naked, Justin wasted no time in pushing her against the mattress. Gabe started to join them, too, but Curt stopped him. “Remember how the unknown makes you feel? Take pity on a friend.”

Justin grinned into the kiss he initiated and slipped a condom in her hand. Turning his head to them, he arched his neck and clearly enjoyed the shower of kisses she planted along his trunk.

“I’m not stingy like some,” he said. “You can join if the lady says it’s all right.”

Heather stroked Justin’s cock, watching him with those beautiful blue eyes as she pushed her hand down on his shaft. Rising to her knees, she bent forward and dragged his cock to her lips, rubbing her mouth all over him before rolling the protection down his shaft.

“Fuck me,” Curt said, his cock now standing straight up.

“Come here and I will,” she said in a saucy voice before jerking her head and summoning Gabe as well.

Now suited up for action, Justin towered over her, wasting no time in cradling her breasts and showering them with plenty of attention. He crawled down her body, nipping at her skin until he reached her pussy.

Once there, he tucked his hands under her bottom and lifted her to his mouth, blowing and licking her clit, arousing her, but refusing to lead her to the throes of satisfaction.

“You’re teasing me,” she whined, coming to an upright position and mashing down on Justin’s head.

“Damn that’s sexy,” Gabe said, stroking his cock.

“Ain’t it though?” Curt crawled up the bed and waited beside her, pumping his dick with a slow hand, wanting to come, dying to see her mouth wrapping around him, fucking his shaft before sucking his balls.

Gabe stretched out beside her, flat on his back. He oiled his cock, craving the woman in motion. And she was surely something to see.

Her hands flattened against the mattress and she dug her toes between the coverlet and sheets. “Finish me, Justin.” Her singsong voice was enough to make every cock in the room harder than steel.

“Come here,” Gabe said, pulling her to him and brushing her hair away from her face. He brought her over him, her back to his chest.

“Hmm yeah,” Curt muttered. “I like where this is heading.”

She reached for him then and pushed her lips to his slit, rubbing the crest with her fingers until he was more aroused than he might have been if her jaws had been locked around his cock.

“Scoot up some, baby.” Gabe’s voice was guttural, and the tightly clipped syllables showed further evidence of a desire-ridden man.

Justin lifted her hips and stared down at the point of connection, his eyes going misty as soon as Gabe penetrated her.

“Oh God!” she cried out when he made his first impalement but her whimpers only slowed him down. He didn’t offer to stop.

Gabe curved his arm around her upper chest, holding her against him as he slipped inside her hole and fucked her. “Get used to me, baby. Relax. Ah yeah. There we go.”

Her eyes watered at first and Justin seemingly waited to join until she was ready to handle more. Curt was crazy with lust for more than one reason. The act itself was sexy as all hell but the truth behind the act drove him to the edge of envy, too.

Curt knew for a fact she hadn’t allowed any visitors through the back door and yet there she was, bucking against Gabe, fucking like a lady who knew how to handle an experienced man.

She reached out to Curt then and brought him through the seam of her lips, slowly gliding down his cock. Justin topped and entered her with one hard thrust.

The uneven and broken rhythm made the actions uncomfortable at first, but soon they found their unified beat, a way to please themselves and their woman. The headboard knocked against the wall in a precisely set time. The mattress springs squeaked. Bodies slapped against bodies, and ragged breaths added an erotic tempo, too.

Curt fed his beautiful lover his cock, watching her mouth swell with his size as she rode him with those talented lips, moaning as Gabe and Justin fucked her. Her body soon became an instrument of pure unadulterated pleasure and he couldn’t imagine three men enjoying themselves more.

“What are you doing?” Allister asked, entering the office with Harley.

“Contemplating,” Draegan said, cocking his head and focusing on the security tapes. He’d been horny as hell watching Gabe, Justin, and Curt with Heather. In fact, he’d already been thinking about taking a ride into town. He had a bumping buddy there and she always seemed glad to see him.

Something—or rather someone—stopped him. He’d been waiting for the ideal time to pursue Serena and until he did, he wasn’t sure if another woman could satisfy him anyway.

Allister walked around the desk and studied the monitors. “What are you contemplating exactly?” He flipped off the screen. “This is an invasion of privacy.”

“Ah, horseshit.” Draegan said, swiveling around in his chair. “Did you miss the part where Trouble’s founding fathers accept and acknowledge that this is a very real possibility? We live in a different world here, a world where exhibitionism and voyeurism are welcome. We have over four hundred cameras here now.”

“When all parties know about it, I think it’s fine. When they don’t? I’m with Allister. It’s an invasion of privacy.” Harley put his hands on his hips. “What the fuck were you thinking?”

“He hasn’t been laid in a month of Sundays and Mondays.” Markie sashayed in the office and came to an abrupt stop. “Now that I think about it…add Tuesdays through Saturdays, too.”

“Don’t you have a set bedtime, Markie?” Allister asked, leveling a glare on Draegan. “There’s no excuse.”

“She knew I was watching,” Draegan said, picking up the remote. “She saw the cameras when she stripped down to her thong.” He hit the rewind button and turned on the monitors and hit stop. “See?”

Markie and Harley didn’t look. Allister leaned closer. Sure enough, the clip showed her opening the drapes, looking up at the camera and smiling. Then, right there in front of that camera, she stripped.

“Yeah, but look,” Allister took the remote from Draegan’s hand. “They shut the curtains.”

“Hmm….hmm.” He forwarded the footage. “And here’s where Gabe opens them up again. They all knew.”

Harley laughed out loud. “That’s because they knew who was behind the camera and she’s messing with you.”

“Right,” Draegan muttered, pushing away from the desk. “She didn’t know.”

About that time, Allister pulled out his phone and grinned. He shook his head and sniffed. “It’s Gabe. He says—and I quote—‘Tell your brother that Heather loves taunting voyeurs. Hope he enjoyed the show. Tell him to delete the recording and go to bed. Show’s over here’.”

Draegan reached for the phone. “Let me see that.”

Allister held it away from him. “Not until
you tell us what’s up with you and Serena.”

“What do you mean?” Draegan sat again, glanced at the computer monitor, and noted the now-dimmed lights in Heather’s room.

“Serena thinks he’s involved with yours truly,” Markie informed them.

“And why would she have such a notion?” Allister asked, smirking.

“Beats me, sugar,” Markie said, working his way around the desk and flopping down on Draegan’s lap. He curved his arm around Draegan’s neck and relaxed there.

At least twice his size, Draegan never moved a muscle. He was perfectly relaxed with Markie sprawled out on his lap and why wouldn’t he be? He and Markie had always been close friends but never anything more. He was quite accustomed to Markie’s taunting.

“Beats me, too, Markie,” Harley said, yawning. “Well, fellas. I’m turning in. Allister, enjoy the night shift. Draegan, ask Serena out when you man up. Markie, take an all-male cruise or something. You and Draegan both need to get laid.”

“I’m workin’ on it, sugar,” he said, snuggling up in Draegan’s arms.

Draegan pushed away from the desk and stood, dumping Markie on the floor as he made his way to the door.

“I meant the cruise. Not you!” Markie called out to him.

Allister claimed his seat and pulled out his old Game Boy.

“You’re such a kid at heart,” Markie said.

“I’m trying to beat my last high score,” Allister informed him, glancing up at Draegan, now at the gun cabinet returning his weapons.

“Well, good luck with that, hon.” Markie clutched his collar and pranced to the door. “I’m out of here, boys. Hope the night is good to both of you. Well, not you Allister. If you get lucky tonight then that means no one is holding down the fort.”

“Derek and Ryan are at the gate.”

“Doesn’t mean you can lay down on the job here,” Draegan pointed out.

“This coming from the man who watches onsite porn,” Allister said, his fingers working faster and faster as he played his Game Boy.

  “Keep us safe,” Draegan grumbled.

“Always,” Allister fired back, moving his arms up and sideways as he fought with the game he was apparently losing. As the boing-boing-boing signified a loss, Allister looked up and said, “Hey, Markie?”

  “Yes?”

Allister then lowered his electronic device and took a deep breath. “I just wanted you to know that when I gave Dons his beating?”

  “Yeah?” Markie moved closer.

“It was for you as much as for Ellie.”

Draegan looked taken aback. “You damned near killed him.”

“I wanted to,” Allister said, sniffing. “Markie, you might chap my ass sometimes, but I love ya. We’re family. And as long as I draw air, nobody is gonna mess with you.”

Markie clucked and tears welled in his eyes. “Ah, Allister.” He ran across the room on his tiptoes and flung his skinny body against Allister’s tank-like form. “I love you, too, hon.” He turned to Draegan and motioned for him with his hand. “Come on, sugar. Group hug.”

Draegan cursed under his breath but he joined in. When they separated, Draegan had to laugh as Allister resumed his badass persona, acting all rogue again.

“Now get out of here so I can work,” he said, picking up his electronic distraction once more.

“You know, your fancy phone has some cool games, too.”

“Yeah, I know,” Allister mumbled. “But I like to play the games I can win.”

  Epilogue

  Four Months Later

The celebration barbeque was a sight to behold. Everyone in Trouble had come out for the occasion. The men were in charge of food and beverage. The women had been told to just dress for their fellows.

Considering the short-shorts around there, Gabe was pretty certain everyone had followed the dress code, everyone except Heather, and she might as well have been wearing boy shorts or maybe nothing at all.

“Hmm. Hmm,” Gabe muttered, sneaking up behind her and nipping at her ear. “You look good enough to eat.”

“Later.” She swatted him away. “I’m doing something.” She stretched her neck and scanned the crowd.

“What are you up to?” He peered over her shoulder and tried to spot who or what was holding his woman’s interest. As soon as he saw Detective Brice he said, “Tell me no.”

“No?” She turned around then and flattened her hands on his chest. “But he’s perfect.”

“Perfect for who? Me, Curt, Justin, or you?” He was three seconds shy of asking Brice to leave.

“You’re so cute when you’re jealous,” she said, tipping his nose with her finger. “I’m not talking about us.”

“Maybe you should elaborate or at least clarify,” Gabe said.

She bracketed her arms around his waist and stood on her tiptoes to kiss him. “He’s interested in Serena. The day he met me in the café? I picked up on it. She acts perfectly normal around everyone except Detective Brice and Draegan. When either one of them are around, she gets all jittery and—”

“And it won’t work,” Gabe interrupted her, taking a beer from Curt when he joined them. “Thanks.”

“Why won’t it work?” Heather asked.

“What won’t work?” Justin asked, walking up then.

“Heather is convinced Brice, Draegan, and Serena are a match made in heaven.”

Curt spewed his next sip of beer and laughed out loud. “That’s absurd.” He wiped his chin on the back of his wrist.

“Here comes the man of the hour, let’s ask him. Want to?”

“No, don’t,” Heather whispered, pushing against Gabe’s chest.

“Is this a private party or can anyone join?” Draegan asked.

“Oh, you mean you’re asking for permission now?” Heather balked at that. “Last I heard, you intrude whenever there’s a vacant seat in front of a monitor.”

“You knew I was there,” Draegan said, grinning.

“I knew someone was there, but I didn’t guess you.”

“Now we’re all on the same page.” Draegan shot her a wink.

  “Watch it,” Gabe said.

“Flirting with our woman is off limits,” Curt added.

“Imagine that,” Draegan muttered, watching Serena like he was afraid she might vanish at any moment.

“You’ve got it bad,” Curt said, slapping him squarely between the shoulders.

“Yes I do.” He nursed his beer. “She knows it, too.”

“Maybe you should think about asking her out,” Justin suggested. “She seems interested in you.”

“She is,” Draegan said, moistening his lips as he studied her.

“Then what’s the problem?” Curt asked.

“As my brother Allister once said, ‘I like playing games I can win’ and I’m not a hundred percent sure I can win there. Not yet.”

“You surely aren’t talking about you and Serena like you’re involved in some sort of game.” Heather looked appalled.

“Dating is a game, Heather. You of all people should know that.” Draegan looked at her crossly and added, “No offense.”

“None taken,” she said flippantly, clearly bracing for the kill. “Besides, from what I can tell, you’re right. Dating is a game. And Detective Brice seems eager to play and win.”

“What?” Draegan jerked to attention then and turned his focus to Brice and Serena.

He couldn’t have looked at them at a better time. Serena was laughing. Brice had casually placed his hand on her back and the flirting had begun. Draegan quickly set his beer down and whistled for the band to start playing.

They all laughed as they watched him make his move. He quickly intervened and asked Serena to dance, shooting the detective a scowl before leading her to the dance floor.

“Nothing like a little competition to light a fire under a man’s ass,” Gabe said.

“Or a nudge in the right direction,” Curt said, definitely referring to the past.
<
br />   “That’s right,” Gabe agreed, leaning over and kissing Heather’s cheek and taking her hand in his. “If I’m not mistaken, you owe Curt the first dance.”

  “Why?”

“Because I’d love to have it, but I owe him one.”

Clearly perplexed, she placed her hand in Curt’s and they were off to dance to the first song of the night.

“What was that about?” Justin asked.

“Sharing,” Gabe replied. “It suits us.”

  “I don’t understand.”

“Neither did I, until everything came together just as it should. Now, I can’t imagine loving Heather any other way than like we all love her together.”

“Same here, dude,” Justin said, lifting his can to Gabe’s bottle. “To happy endings.”

“To the best of times with the most beautiful girl in the world.”

She flashed a smile as Curt spun her around. She then formed the words, “I love you.”

Justin and Gabe mouthed back in unison, “I love you more.”
