“Okay, honey, I can live with that.” I sighed. “I just don’t know how we’re going to tell my parents.”
“You and Luca can figure that out together. Don’t try to go it alone.”
Felix’s scream had us up and running to him within seconds. Since the kidnapping, his night terrors had gotten worse. I usually climbed into bed with him and he’d sleep through the rest of the night without issue. He saw a counselor once a month to deal with his mom’s death, but I was considering upping his visits. With this new nightmare, my decision was made.
“Hey, baby, I got you,” I crooned, wrapping him in my arms.
“Where’s Stoney?” he asked, sleepily.
“I’m here, bud,” he said, sitting on the bed beside us.
“Can Auntie sleep with you?” he asked.
“I don’t really have a bed that’s big enough,” Stoney said.
“Can you sleep in here with me and Auntie?”
“Yeah, sure.”
“What’s going on, honey?” I asked.
“My dad needs to protect you,” he whispered.
“Why, baby?” I squeezed him gently.
Felix shrugged. “Bad men.”
“I got both of you,” Stoney said. “You never have to be afraid again.”
He scrambled off my lap and onto Stoney’s. “Thanks, Dad.”
Stoney hugged him, and kissed his temple. “You wanna sleep in the bed with me and Auntie?”
He bobbed his head up and down and I sighed. “Go potty, then climb in the big bed.”
Felix slid off Stoney’s lap and closed himself into the bathroom.
“Didn’t think the first time we slept together, we’d have a chaperone,” I complained.
Stoney grinned, kissing me quickly. “Our time will come.”
“You’re more patient than me.”
“Baby, this is all on your timetable. You name the time and place and I’m there.”
“Tuesday,” I said. “Luca’s taking Felix overnight.”
“No shit?”
“No shit,” I whispered.
He grinned. “I’ll be at your place at five.”
“I won’t be home until five-thirty.”
“Give me a key and I’ll cook.”
I bit my lip. “Okay.”
He kissed me again, and once Felix was ready, we piled into the huge bed and slept like the dead.

Tuesday, I walked into my house and smelled something heavenly. I made a mental note to find a way to have Stoney cook for me every night if I was going to come home to this. “Honey, I’m home,” I said in a singsong voice as I kicked off my shoes.
He appeared in the archway between the foyer and the family room, grinning. “Hey, beautiful.”
“Hi.” I raised my head and he kissed me deeply, but quickly. “Smells amazing.”
“Hope you like ribeye.”
“I love ribeye.”
“Should be ready in twenty.”
I bit my lip. “Can the process be paused?”
“Yeah, why?”
“Why do you think?” I challenged.
“Meet you upstairs,” he said, and I made a run for my room while he turned everything off in the kitchen.
I cleaned up in the bathroom quickly, stripping down to my bra and panties, and pulling my robe on over the top.
“Babe?”
“Here,” I said, stepping back into my bedroom. “Hi.”
“Hey.” He grinned, reaching for my sash and tugging on it. “Fuck. You are stunning.”
I slid my hands under his shirt. “I want this off.”
He pulled his T-shirt off and I bit my lip, leaning forward to kiss him, and taking in his scent.
“Did you just sniff me?”
I grinned. “Yes, yes, I did. You smell delicious.”
His chest was muscular and hairless, and covered with tattoos. He was stunning.
“You sniffed me the first night we met, didn’t you? Don’t lie.”
I chuckled. “Pleading the fifth.”
He kissed me, sliding my robe off, and stroking my pulse. “If you need or want to stop, we’ll stop, okay?”
I nodded, licking my lips.
“I love you.”
I slid my hands up his chest. “I love you, too.”
He kissed me gently but deeply as he slipped my bra straps from my shoulders, then unhooked it and tugged it off. Cupping my breasts, he ran his thumbs over my nipples, and I shivered. His hands were rough and big, and they felt so good on my sensitive skin.
“Fucking perfect, baby,” he rasped, drawing one nipple into his mouth, then the other before kneeling before me and pressing his face between my legs. He slid my panties down my thighs, then ran his tongue over my clit and I wove my fingers into his hair.
Standing, he lifted me onto the bed, hovering above me, then kissing his way down my body. His mouth landed on my core and he ran his tongue between my folds, then sucked my clit gently, before slipping a finger inside of me. I arched against his touch and he added a finger, pumping his digits inside of me and moving back up my body to draw a nipple into his mouth, then he bit gently, and the sensations swamped me. His palm slapped against my sensitive mound as he continued to fuck me with his fingers, his mouth doing unbelievably incredible things to my nipples.
“I... I...”
“Come, baby,” he encouraged, and I let go.
Then promptly burst into tears.
“Hey,” he whispered, stretching out beside me and pulling me against him. “Did I hurt you?”
I shook my head. “I... have... never... felt... so...” I couldn’t get the rest out... I was crying too hard.
“I got you, baby,” he whispered, chuckling quietly.
I slid my hands up his back, buried my face in his neck, and just cried. For several minutes. Stoney held me close, stroking my back and letting me break down.
“You need to stop cryin’, baby, ’cause I can’t figure out if this was good or bad for you.”
I sniffed. “It was good. It was way too good. I’ve never had it that good.”
He smiled, rolling me onto my back and kissing me gently. “You’re so fuckin’ beautiful.”
“I’m snotty.”
“You’re still gorgeous.”
“You’re supposed to tell me I’m not snotty.”
“But you are,” he retorted. “You’re also gorgeous.”
I wrinkled my nose. “Rude.”
He chuckled. “Come on, baby, let’s go eat.”
“Um, no, we’re not done.” I grabbed the waistband of his jeans and pulled him back to me. “Get naked.”
“You gonna boss me around in bed?”
“Hell, yeah, I am. Well, until I want you to boss me.”
He grinned, knifing off the bed and removing the rest of his clothes. I hissed out a sigh of appreciation. “Lordy, you’re big.”
“You know just what to say to a man.”
I licked my lips and scooted toward him. “My turn.”
I wrapped my lips around the tip of his cock, sucking him to the back of my throat and sliding up and down slowly.
“Nope,” Stoney said, pulling out of my mouth.
“Was I doing it wrong?”
“Jesus, no. I was gonna come, and I want my first orgasm to be in your pussy.”
“Oh.”
He grinned, leaning down to kiss me as he pushed me onto my back again and slid his hand between my legs. “Soaked.”
I nodded. “You gonna do something about that?”
He chuckled, reaching for a condom and rolling it on, then sliding slowly into me. I wrapped a leg around his waist in an effort to get comfortable with his size, but it didn’t help. He tried to pull out of me, but I grabbed his ass and held tight.
“Baby, you look like you’re in pain.”
“I swear to god, Noah, I want that gigantic cock to tear me up, so make that happen.”
He burst out laughing, falling over me as
he did. “I love you.”
I smiled. “Enough to shove that—”
“Oh my god, Breezy, don’t. I won’t stay hard.”
“Dirty talk equals limp dick. Got it.”
He met my eyes and kissed my nose. “I’ll show you a limp dick, Sabrina,” he warned, pushing deeper into me.
I wrapped my legs around his waist and arched up to take him even deeper, and he linked our fingers together, dragging my hands above my head. Holding them still with one hand, his other hand slid to my breasts, rolling a nipple into a tight bud as he kissed me, burying his dick deeper and deeper, slowly.
It didn’t take long for my body to adjust to his size and demand more. I whimpered with need, arching higher to meet his thrusts, and he started to move faster, slamming into me over and over again as I tried in vain to get him to release my hands. I wanted to touch him.
He held firm and as my climax built, I kissed him, sliding my tongue against him, then biting his lip as his cock hit the entrance to my womb.
“Now, Noah!” I screamed, and he thrust once more, then I felt him pulse inside of me as he rolled us to our sides, facing each other, still connected. “Wow,” I rasped, stroking his beard.
“Yeah. Wow.” He grinned. “You’re not cryin’. I did okay, then?”
I chuckled. “You did incredible things to my body both times, honey, and you well know it. But if you need an ego stroke, I’ll be happy to oblige.”
“You just did.” He kissed me. “You feel okay?”
“Yes. I want to do that again.”
“Let’s give your body a minute.”
I nodded, kissing him again. “I love you.”
“Love you too.” He pulled out of me gently. “Gonna deal with the condom.”
He walked into the bathroom and returned with a warm washcloth, settling it between my legs. I sighed, closing my eyes as the warmth soothed my soreness.
“Okay, baby, we’re gonna take a break. I’ll finish cookin’, then we’ll revisit sex.” He smiled. “Your body needs time to adjust.”
“Okay.”
We cleaned up, dressed, and headed back downstairs for dinner.
Stoney
About a month later, Sundance called me into his office, closing the door behind us. Things had finally returned to normal, Sabrina and Felix were back at home, and I was starting to relax. We were trying to figure out the right time to tell Felix about our relationship, because I fuckin’ hated leaving her late at night and sleeping alone. The only time I got to wake up with her was if Luca took Felix overnight on Tuesdays. That hadn’t happened for two weeks, so we were frustrated, to say the least.
“What’s up?” I asked.
He handed me an envelope. “For Randy,” he said. “Wasn’t sure if you still wanted to make the drop this month, but figured I’d ask. I can send Moses—”
“Nah, I’m good. This is my thing.”
He nodded, and I walked out of the office, texting Sabrina before I climbed on my bike.
Me: Gotta run an errand over by you. Feel like company?
Sabrina: If it’s you, always.
Me: One hour?
Sabrina: See you then.
Grinning like an idiot, I set out to Randy’s, pulling up to her row house just as the sun was setting. I rang the doorbell and waited. I knew she’d see me on her doorbell camera, but she usually made some snide comment through the intercom before answering the door. Tonight there was nothing. Her lights were on and her car was in the driveway, so I knew she was home, so I rang the doorbell again. “Randy, it’s me,” I called.
I waited for a couple more minutes and turned to leave when I heard a crash.
“Randy!” I bellowed. Another crash and a scream spurred me into action, and I tried her front door. It was locked, so I kicked it open. “Miranda!”
There was another scream and the sounds of struggles coming from upstairs, so I headed that way. “Randy?”
“Stoney!” she panted out and I pushed into her room to find a man attempting to climb out of her window.
I grabbed him by the nape of the neck and waistband of his jeans, pulling him backward.
“This asshole just tried to rape me,” she panted out.
“So you threw him out the window?” I asked.
“No, he decided to try and jump when he heard you break down the door.” She kicked him in his side. “However, I had no intention of letting him get away so easy.”
I could see a bruise forming on her cheek and her lip was split.
“That bitch—”
“Shut the fuck up.” I slammed my fist into his face. The force was enough to knock him out. Once I knew he wouldn’t wake up for a bit, I texted Sundance.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, grabbing a tissue and dabbing at her lip while she tried in vain to pull her torn T-shirt together over her chest.
I averted my eyes and focused on the unconscious man in front of me. “Monthly payment.”
She sighed. “You’re early.”
“Sundance said to deliver today, so I’m delivering today.”
“I wish you wouldn’t deliver at all.”
“Babe, it’s Greenie’s money.”
“It’s blood money,” she snapped, grabbing a clean T-shirt and pulling it on.
I pulled the envelope out and set it on her dresser. “I’ll let you take that up with Sundance. His call.”
She let out a quiet huff. “You should take it.”
“I’m not fuckin’ takin’ your money, Miranda.”
“Oh my god, Stoney, you were closer to him than I was.”
“Bullshit.”
Greenie and I had grown up together. We’d patched-in together and been closer than brothers. His death had rocked me to my core and sent me into a dark place for a time, but making sure his sister was taken care of had helped keep me going.
She sighed. “I release you of your duty.”
“Doesn’t work that way,” I said, pulling zip-ties out of my back pocket and securing the guy’s hands.
“You just happen to have zip-ties?”
“Yeah,” I said, standing.
“Stone—”
“Miranda!” Sundance bellowed.
“You called him?” she growled.
“Yeah, I called him. He’s gonna deal with this shithead.”
“I was handling it.”
I rolled my eyes. “Jesus, Randy, you need to stop with this shit. We’re here and we’re not goin’ anywhere, whether you like it or not.”
“Randy!” Sundance bellowed again.
“Up here,” I called.
“God, you people are insane,” she hissed.
Sundance appeared in the doorway and scowled. “What the fuck happened?”
“Nothing I wasn’t already dealing with.”
“He tried to rape her,” I said, and Sundance’s face went from annoyed to rage-filled.
“What the fuck?” This came from Aero who’d arrived right behind Sundance.
“Bad date,” Randy said.
Sundance lifted the now conscious piece of shit to his feet and shoved a bandana in his mouth. “We’re gonna take this guy and teach him a few lessons before we release him back into the wild.”
“You don’t need to do that,” Randy countered.
“It’s our pleasure, sweetheart,” Aero said, giving her a Boy Scout salute, and dragging him out of the room.
Sundance hugged her. “Family night one week from Saturday. Want you there.”
“I’m not—”
“I’m comin’ to get you if you don’t show up early,” he warned, and walked out before she could object.
“Why won’t y’all just leave me alone?”
“Because you’re ours, sweetheart, you know this. Stop fightin’ it,” I said.
She blinked back tears. “I can’t, Noah. The memories are too hard.”
I pulled her against me and stroked her back. “I get it, Randy, I fuckin’ do, but if you shut yourself
off from your only family, you’re not gonna find the way to healin’. Let us be there for you.”
“No promises.”
“You can meet my girl,” I said.
“You’ve got a girl?”
I smiled. “I do. And a kid.”
“Wait, what?”
I gave her the Reader’s Digest version of Sabrina and Felix and her eyes widened.
“Holy shit, that’s unbelievable.”
“Yeah, it seriously is.” I gave her shoulder a squeeze. “If you come to family night, you’ll meet them both.”
“Not fair.” She crossed her arms. “Dangling a kid and a woman out there. I mean, any woman that has made you all fluttery deserves some kind of medal.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Fluttery?”
“I have never, and I mean never, seen you all... I don’t know, fluttery about a girl.” She wrinkled her nose. “It’s not all Tom Cruise on Oprah’s sofa fluttery, but...”
I laughed. “Jesus Christ.”
“I’m really glad you’re happy, Noah.”
I smiled. “Me too, sweetheart.”
“Okay, I’ll come.”
“Good.” I crossed my arms. “Now, tell me what happened with this guy?”
“He comes into the bar sometimes. He’s always been nice, asking me multiple times to take me out. I said yes and he was great. Until we got back here and then he turned into a complete asshole.”
I sighed. “Okay, babe, we’re gonna deal with him.”
“I would love to say you don’t need to, but that would be a lie.”
“Let me let Sabrina know—”
“Oh, I don’t need you to stick around. I’d actually rather you didn’t.”
“Randy, you’ve had a rough night, I’d rather you weren’t alone.”
“I’ll call Maddie.”
Madlyn was her best friend, had been forever, and was more trouble than she was worth sometimes.
“Not sure Maddie’s the best idea,” I countered.
“That’s because she scares you.”
I grinned. “You might be right.”
“I’m fine, Stoney.”
“I’m gonna wait until Maddie’s here.”
She rolled her eyes. “Fine. Come on. My phone’s downstairs.”
I followed her downstairs and waited for her to text Madlyn. I sent a quick text to Sabrina and then waited until the flurry of drama who went by the name of Madlyn let herself in with her key and glared at me as she hugged Miranda. “What happened?”
