“That is what I want.” He tells her, his eyes closed as he can already picture their wedding. “For all of this time, I’ve been thinking the same thing Emma, feeling the same way about you. Marrying you in front of Gott, and all of the people I have known for all of my life, would be the best thing to ever happen to me. Maybe I wanted to leave for the city before, even before you got here I have to admit, but there is nee way that I can do that now that Gott has brought his greatest gift to me, right here. That gift is you Emma, and I wouldn’t have things any other way.”
With both mann and woman relieved by their reciprocated feelings for each other, their engagement is made official in front of all of the familye present with them. Finally their soft lips touch in a gentle kiss and planning is already started in preparation for the fateful day that the pair shall be wed. Even with all of Daniel’s talk of patience he is secretly excited to see this for the boy he has for so long feared would not truly find his place in the Ordnung and their community as a whole. Now that Benjamin’s found a girl like Emma, so dedicated to Gott and the way of life that she has put all of this time and effort into adapting too, his daed can give his blessing for their match with all of his heart.
As their wedding day comes around, Emma dressed in beautiful blue linen dress, Benjamin and she sit with Joshua and Naomi, the mann being Benjamin’s closest friend whose continued support has seen both Benjamin and Emma through so much over the hardships they faced in love. This other couple have become recently married themselves and together they all talk of the beautiful futures they are all going to share together, as games go on all around them and food is served plentifully. All of their past mishaps are forgiven and forgotten, as Gott would want them to be, as Benjamin and Emma set out on this beautiful future together, starting today.
