She pulled me in close with her legs and my hands. She bit down on my shoulder, drawing blood. She began licking me, her tongue taking away the pain that had just been there.

A bite to my ear was followed by a stern command. “Fill me… flood me… ohhh!”

I couldn’t refuse a direct command from my mistress. Between that and the way her pussy squeezed me, it didn’t take long for all the built up tension in me to become free. My knees weakened with each rope that entered her. She held me up, balancing me until I finished.

We stood still for a moment while I steadied myself. For some reason each time we made love, I felt surges of energy leave me, replaced with something else. I was still inside her and for some reason, seeing my juice running down the inside of her thigh brought me back to attention.

  “We’re not done yet mistress.”

I slammed her up against the wall again. Each thrust, I pushed her hard, knowing her much she liked it rough. The surprise of my second round sent her into an orgasmic frenzy. Magic sizzled in the air when she wasn’t prepared and the hairs on my arm stood on end as she unleashed everything she had.

I joined in, adding more of myself to the mix. The second orgasm was just as fulfilling as the first, especially because this time, she was the one who was on shaky legs.

“Ruin,” she couldn’t even finish her sentence, “that…was unexpected.”

“I know. You deserve only my very best and I will not settle for less.”

She stroked the long hair out of my face. “You’re my most prized possession. But enough of this, we have much to do.”

Her black robe slid over her perfect body while I replaced the warrior gear I’d grown to think of my second skin. I slid my mask over my head, but not over my face. I watched in intrigue as she wandered over to the table where Dante’s detached head was still sitting.

“Do you know what we can do with this?”

I knew it was important to her, but I didn’t know why. “I do not mistress. Should I get Balrog for this?”

She didn’t even look up. “No, this is going to be a show just for the two of us to enjoy. Balrog is preparing for his next mission.”

Up until just recently Balrog and I were assigned the same targets; minor demon royalty, angels, or even demons that’d escaped Hell. Dante was my first solo mission and it appeared Balrog was getting ready for one of his own.

Sabrina took the head off the table and walked over to the adjoining room. The castle was so large that even in the time I’d spent here; I’d barely seen any rooms but my cell, the meeting room, and the arena. As soon as I entered, a stone wall slid to close it off. The only light provided came from a single blue candle on a pedestal in the middle of the room.

Sabrina set Dante’s head on the candle, sliding it down over the metal candleholder. Blue light shined from his lifeless eyes and filled the dome room with an eerie glow. She rubbed his forehead and pictures of people and places appeared everywhere.

“These are the ones trying to hurt us Ruin. Do any of them look familiar?”

I walked up to the wall and touched it. The first person I saw was a short man cloaked in black. Something deep inside said this person was important, but if so, didn’t share why. I got the same reaction to a large man with a broadsword and a blonde haired man with a bow and arrow. “Who are these three?”

“They are your final hurdles. With their deaths, none will be able to stop us from turning this world into the paradise it was meant to be.”

But those three weren’t the only ones to stick out to me. There were three women on the far side of the wall, two carrying small children. “And these three? Why do I feel such a connection to them?”

“The two with children bewitched you into producing heirs with them. And the third is my mother.”

Children? “Never! I would never soil myself with such sluts mistress!”

She came over and placed a hand on my neck. It was cool to the touch. “This was in your past life Ruin. What happened before doesn’t concern me. What does bother me are these women holding your children hostage.”

I reached out and touched the two little ones. My hand passed through and hit the wall. “We should raise them mistress.” I spun around with fire in my eyes. “They should become a part of this Utopia we’re creating!”

“An excellent idea Ruin! As you know, I cannot have children of my own, but I would be the mother these children need.” She looked up at me with her enchanting eyes. “Would you trust me to do that for you?”

“Of course I would! Tell me mistress, how do we get them back?”

“This is why we needed Dante’s head.” She went back over to the rotting object and swiped the forehead again. The pictures of the people disappeared, replaced by an old farm house surrounded by acres of land. “We needed to know where these people were keeping your children hostage.”

I slammed the wall with my first, the silvery chains appearing around me for a minute before disappearing. “Where are they? TELL ME!” That hidden spark of rage reared its ugly head again.

“Calm yourself my lover – they are close.” I closed my eyes and let her words wash over me. “They’ve taken refuge in the English countryside and soon you will be paying them a visit.”

“What do I need to do before then to speed this up?”

She reached into her robe and pulled out a smooth piece of wood. “You need to remember how to use this. Once you master your former weapon, then you’ll be a threat to them.”

As my hand grabbed it, the need to activate this weapon became an obsession. I poured my power into it, but it didn’t respond to my touch. “Don’t fight me weapon! You belong to me!”

“Do not force the connection Ruin! Not everything in this world responds to brute force like I do.”

I gave her a sly grin for a second before returning my concentration back to the piece of wood. The power generating from within was massive. “Just give in to me weapon. Together we’ll be unstoppable.”

I’d been lost in such thought over the internal battle to get this weapon to bow to me that I hadn’t noticed I was in the room by myself. No matter, I wouldn’t leave until it was mine. Too much was at stake to fail.

  Chapter 31 – Ruin Unleashed

“I’m master of the scythe mistress.” I flashed the weapon in my hand before returning it to prove my point. “I’m ready for the next step.”

Her eyes took in the scythe before it disappeared. “I knew my faith in you wasn’t misplaced. Come here my love; let me give you the next task…”

I hurried over to her throne and kneeled. “Anything for you mistress.”

“The rebels are planning to move from their stronghold in England. Take the gargoyles with you and get what’s ours!”

The moment I’d be waiting for. “I will not fail you!”

She got down off her throne and came to a stop just in front of me. “Our endgame is so close I can taste it. Go and show the world what is waiting for them”

I gave her one last salute before pulling my mask down over my face. The white, emotionless face conveyed what I felt, conveying my role in all of this perfectly. I had no emotion accept acceptance. If everyone else would just accept Sabrina, the White Witch, I’d have no use.

I walked into the gargoyle room and motioned. The five of them still here sprung to life and followed me. We didn’t break pace until we came to the castle draw bridge. I kicked the level and the door lowered, allowing us to leave.

The night air of Serbia felt so cool up this high. I climbed on top of the lead gargoyle. “To the British Isle and quickly! We must catch the rebels off guard!”

The gargoyles were fast. Neither weather nor fatigue could stop them once they had a destination to reach. Time passed effortlessly; I’d learned to center myself and allow long periods to go by without even knowing. Only our decent to our final location brought me back to reality.

As the green of the grass became visible, I directed the gargo
yles to a small patch of trees. We landed quickly and without a sound. “Stay here until I call. I’ll find the rebels alone.”

The five of them, obedient as ever, turned to stone until the time came to come back to life. Dawn was approaching, which played to my strengths. The shadows would cover me movements.

At first I felt a small pull towards the west, but the closer I got, the stronger the pull was. Again, something from my past must’ve guiding me but I couldn’t tell what. The feeling almost became overwhelming when a large farmhouse came into view. Using the power Sabrina taught me, I blocked that out of me.

It wasn’t yet time to call the gargoyles. I didn’t know how many of the rebels would be here and if I could do this silently, that would be preferable. Over in the barn were two horses, one pale and one black. Their eyes were closed, but something about them was off. I decided to steer clear and not use the barn as cover.

I crossed the grassy yard and took cover under the porch. I heard a voice inside, a female talking to another female. “I feel guilty about my feelings for Jacar, but he’s gone for good I keep telling myself.”

“Astrid, he wouldn’t want you to be miserable. It’s okay that you’ve moved on.” The second female voice was richer, raspier.

“I see you Jecella not moving on. As a Lust demon, that must be fucking hard.”

“I have our son Oz. He’s what keeps me going.” I heard the slight sniffle that must’ve been from a child.

There was another child present, another boy. “After everything that happened, I’m glad Jacoby we’ll have someone to go through this with. Neither boy will have an easy life.”

My sons… so close with the two whores that kept them from me. Just as I was getting ready to go forth and take them, I felt someone behind me. A small clocked figure was there, no emotion or movement came from him.

I grabbed my head; a razor sharp pain came from within. “Who are you?”

“Considering you are the one sneaking around the place I reside, I believe I should be asking you that.”

There was no time for questions. I had to kill this one fast and destroy the control he had over me. My chains and scythe blazed to life, causing him to gasp. “No!! It cannot be!”

“I’m as real as they get! Die!” I raised my scythe high and tried to take his head off in one swift motion. He was quick and I buried the edge into the grass. The commotion caused the front door to open and three women appeared on the porch.

  “Veronica, get Jacar!”

The one called Veronica didn’t move right away. She had her hand pointed at me, like what she was seeing was unbelievable. With an opening, I jumped towards the porch and swung the scythe at the blonde woman on the left. “Give me back what’s mine!”

A black orb hit me and sent me crashing back out on to the yard. “Astrid, Jecella, Veronica! Snap out of it! He’s not who we think he is!”

I got up, that orb hurt. The girls were scrambling back inside, leaving me with the small one. That is until the two horses from the barn galloped up to him. “Famine, what sorcery is this?”

“I don’t know Khloros. He has Death’s weapon and skill, but the energy coming from his is full of corruption.”

How dare these fools say I’m full of corruption? I slid my mask off, revealing my face. “It’s you who’s full of corruption you assholes! I do what’s right for this world, to support the rise of the White Witch, Sabrina!”

The pale horse looked almost sad. “It is him Famine. Underneath whatever she has done to him, that is my rider and your brother.”

Two black orbs began spinning around my opponent. “How do we break the enchantment?”

“You can’t break what’s not there you fucking moron!” My chains shot from my body and intercepted the black orbs. I smashed them into the ground and moved in with my scythe. This time I was stopped by a wall of earth that erupted from the ground. “You hide behind such measly parlor tricks?”

I shot two more chains into the earth wall, creating a hole for me to phase through. I had to be fast as my ability was still short lived. The looks on their faces when I appeared on the other side as priceless. The grey horse wasn’t stunned for long. He lowered his head and smacked me hard against the wall. “Death, break out of this! This is not who you are!”

I pushed the horse away. “Don’t pretend you know who I am creature!” I swiped at him with my scythe, but he was quick to duck under it and retreat. “None of you understand what we’re trying to do! All you care about is your own selfish needs! Once the celestials are wiped from this realm, Sabrina and I will reshape it into a paradise!”

“Master Death? Is that you?” Two more figures joined our party. One was the blonde named Astrid; she had a long katana in her hands. The owner of the voice was a taller, dark skinned Pride demon. He didn’t have a way to protect himself, at least one I could see.

I hissed at him. “I don’t know this Master Death you worship to demon, but you can call me Ruin. I’ve been chosen as such to purify these lands of scum like you.”

The three of them, plus the two horses stayed in a close formation. The girl, she looked afraid. “Jacar, Famine, what do we do?”

“I do not know Astrid. This is uncharted territory, even for the Horsemen.”

“Master Famine, is there a way to contact War or Conquest?”

He shook his head no in answer to the demon’s question. “I am afraid it is us against him.”

“Not just me, I too have friends.” I whistled, sending out the call back to the forest. “Here come the gargoyles.”

Chapter 32 – Brother against Brother

The scream of the gargoyles filled the early morning sky. The slut, Pride demon, and two horses moved to intercept the stone soldiers who fought by my side. This left me the short one covered in black. He was the strongest of my opponents, one of the hurdles that was in my way according to my mistress.

“I never thought it would come to this brother.”

“I’m not your brother! Stop calling me that!”

His demeanor never changed. “I cannot stop. To call you anything less would be disrespect to you. What happened to you?”

What did he mean what happened to me? “My eyes were opened to the plague in this world. I gained confidence in my abilities to wipe it from here.”

He sighed, as if he was in physical pain. “We were so worried when you never returned from Tartarus. We feared the worst, that Abaddon was still alive.”

Tartarus? None of that made sense. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve been in my mistress’s castle, gaining the strength to do the task I was appointed.”

“Your task? You are a Horseman, one who keeps the balance between worlds!”

“Balance? How can there be balance, a world free from pain and suffering with celestials like you staining it?”

He laughed at me. I didn’t know what the little fuck though I said that was so funny. “You want a perfect world? You, the one who left Eden to live amongst the humans wants to free the world from suffering?”

“Eden means nothing to me fool. You don’t see…”

“No you do not see Death.” The sounds of battle surrounded us as we continued to debate. “How can you forget the boredom you suffered before you left Eden? The joy that the humans and their whims gives you? Can you honestly tell me that none of that means anything to you?”

Why did what he say cause me to stutter? Was there truth to his words? “Stop this you heretic. My goals, my dreams revolve around Sabrina, the one who will lead us to victory. I must kill you so I can reclaim my heirs.”

His eyes widened. “You are here for the kids, are you not?”

“They are mine. We will raise them to know peace and the power that goes with it. I won’t have you pieces of shit ruining my legacy.” Why did that word play cause me to almost smile?

“A bad pun? You are still there brother, you know it. Fight whatever the witch has done to you.”

  “Eno
ugh of this! You’re stalling tactics end as does your life!” The scythe came back to life along with my chains. Just as quickly, the black orbs this Famine controlled were back. Instead of two this time, there were four.

Two crashed by the ground near my feet. This indirect attack was a bit of a surprise and made me stumble. The other two hit my back in rapid succession, bringing me all the way to the ground. A tunnel of dirt opened, swallowing me up.

“Your new abilities haven’t treated you well, have they Ruin?” He used my name as almost a joke.

I wasn’t about to be put down so easily. My chains ripped through the ground and didn’t stop until the hit something solid. I phased and pulled, bringing me back to the ground in no time. “I hope you can do much better than that.”

He did, combining all four orbs into one supersized one. The amount of power radiating off of it was enormous. I wouldn’t be able to avoid that blow, so I began running towards the house. He sent the orb at me and at the last minute, I jumped to the house and bounced off the roof. The orb missed me by inches and I dropped back down to the fight ready to counter.

Knowing his power was vital and I only had moments. I kept myself low and shot two chains towards his legs. He tried to jump back, but they got their first. I pulled him to the ground, causing his orbs to fly off course and no longer be a threat. I saw half of a gargoyle fly over my head. Hmmm, these fools were tougher than I thought.

I walked over to my captured prey. “The way my mistress spoke of you, this should’ve been more of a challenge.”

Fool! I walked straight into a trap! The ground opened up again, a sinkhole this time, and I fell to the bottom of a very large pit. Famine stood over me, “The Death of old would not have been so careless. It appears your mistress should have taught you humility.”

“How dare you question what she does?!” My anger took over and I shot my chains upward, pulling myself out. I was prepared for a blindside attack from those damn orbs and I phased the moment I touched the ground. Three of the four missed, but I couldn’t hold out long enough for the fourth. It caught my in the knee.
