I sneaked one for myself and one for Daniel before Esa licked them all, like he always does.
“Quick, eat it before anyone else comes in!”
Daniel gobbled his so fast he got bits of brownie all over his teeth.
“HMNFWHAT?” mumbled Daniel, still with his mouth full.
“Your . . . teeth . . . are . . . so . . . brown!” I snorted.
Daniel started laughing, too. “So are yours!”
ZANIB MIAN grew up in London and still lives there today. She was a science teacher for a few years after leaving university, but right from when she was a little girl, her passion was writing stories and poetry. She has released lots of picture books with the independent publisher Sweet Apple Publishers, but Planet Omar: Accidental Trouble Magnet is the first time she’s written for older readers.
Planet Omar: Accidental Trouble Magnet was first released under the title The Muslims, and won the Little Rebels Award in 2018, as well as being short-listed for the UKLA Award and nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.
NASAYA MAFARIDIK is based in Indonesia. Self-taught, she has a passion for books and bright, colorful stationery. Planet Omar: Accidental Trouble Magnet is the first time she’s collaborated with an author, and she’s so excited to see what happens next in the series!
