Thank you to Simon Cowell. I owe so much to you. Not least all my success (at least that’s what you keep telling me!) X

Piers Morgan: Thanks – you are still a git though.

To my Girlfriends: Jane Wall, Jess Taylor, Sally Haynes, Rose Keegan, Sarah Parish, Shara Walsh, Angela Griffin, Vikki Hay ward and Lucy Gaskill. We’ve been through everything together and come out the other end – slightly more worn but no less glamorous! With the help of Touche Éclat and false lashes. Your friend ship means everything to me. I love you all.

To Team Mandy: Jane Tyler, Ben Cooke, Sinead Mckeefry, Christian Vermaak, Michaela Drake and Paula Cahill.

The support I’ve received from my fans on Twitter has been incredible. So thank you #Holdenites.

Angie Blackford: for all the advice and sherry!

Alison Griffin: you have known me all my ‘non’ private life! I literally couldn’t exist without you!

To my Witches of West Mid and Hammersmith; Pippa Nightingale, Jackie Nash and Natalie Carter! Thanks aren’t enough for what you all did for us for during the happy and sad times. Will never forget the Mick Jaggers! (You know!)

To my Mum: I never really fully appreciated what a great childhood you gave Debs and I until I had my own children. You dealt with so much and kept all the nasty stuff away. You gave us the absolute best you could. I know we have had our differences but thank you for allowing me to write honestly about our family and ‘dig up’ some old history. I love you.

To my ‘Step’ Dad Les; Step is such a small pointless word. It doesn’t cover how I feel about you and what you have done for Debbie and I. Taking us on and loving us like a proper Daddy made the gaping hole seem infinitely smaller. We belong to you.

Nanny Win: as I read this book back there’s not much mention of you, but I want you to know how lucky Debbie and I were that you totally accepted us as your own, spoilt us and loved us. Your cooking is the stuff of dreams, and memories of country walks in our wellies, picking blackberries, still makes me feel so happy. Thank you so much

Debs: we've been through an awful lot together and faced some of the same stuff, but our stories will always be different. I am glad you have been a part of mine and look forward to our happy ending. I love you. x

Nanny: you were so influential in my life. You were a feminist without realising it. Strong, stubborn, opinionated, fair, loving and fun – with the best laugh ever! We have had our differences but that's because everyone says we are the same. I’m not sure about that but one thing I know is that I will love you forever.

And lastly to my husband Chris . . .

I honestly don’t know how you put up with me. This book has been ‘trying’ to say the least! But as with everything, you made it work. THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Your love, sense of humour and ability to see what is REALLY important in life has got us through so much! I catch myself looking at you everyday and loving you a little bit more. How is that even possible?! I am so glad (and relieved!) you agreed to marry me and have children! Our girls are incredible! Mostly due to you!

  I LUB a lot!
