Greed (Seven Deadlies MC Book 4)

Ox nudged her chin and nodded.
“Wouldn’t miss it, kid. We’ll all be there.”
Emily couldn’t contain her excitement, because she was really hoping her gallery would help shed a little light on what the hell she’d been through in the last few years. On how much she loved the man who fathered her baby and the man who would father her baby.
If he doesn’t change his mind, that is…
Chapter 21
Green was in the middle of making himself some lunch when Emily came wandering into the great room looking like a blessing from God.
She had on a baggy sweatshirt and some yoga pants, but to him, she looked like every center fold he’d ever jerked off to. His dick was hard just thinking about the fact that she was his old lady, and while they hadn’t fooled around since the night he met her father, he was going to change that ASAP. In fact, his sandwich wasn’t nearly as appealing as her pretty pink pussy, but he figured she was hungry.
“You want something to eat?”
Her gaze shot to his and she sighed before she headed right for him, her hands outstretched for him.
“You look good enough to eat,” She whispered.
And, my peener is so fucking hard.
Her mouth was so close to his, and she smelled so fucking good, and all he could think about was how she’d whimpered his name when he licked her pussy.
“How hungry are ya? You’ve got that look on your face…”
Emily glanced at his mouth before she bit her bottom lip, torturing him further.
“I could wait a few minutes.”
He grunted and slammed his plate down, his hands circling her waist.
“Good, ‘cause I won’t last long in that tight cunt of yers.”
Emily didn’t miss the way his accent slipped, didn’t miss the way his grip tightened marginally before he motioned towards his room.
“Hurry.”
She did as he said, which he loved, and he followed after her.
I’m always following after that little firecracker…
Emily slipped inside his room and he slammed the door behind her, his hands reaching for her instantly.
She did that whimpering thing in the back of her throat and for the life of him he couldn’t figure out why they’d waited so long to touch each other again. It always felt so fucking right, so worth it, she took his ass all the way to the moon and back in one kiss. Emily was quicksand to him, she tasted and felt so good against him, that she sucked him right into her orbit.
“I can’t wait anymore to touch my old lady, so ya better tell me now if you’ll regret this,” He muttered as he yanked his cut off and tossed it aside, as well as his shirt. He stood before her, bare chested and built like a tank, and suddenly her mouth was dry.
She couldn’t deny him now, right?
“I want this,” She said.
Emily didn’t hesitate to pull her own sweatshirt and yoga pants off, leaving her clad in nothing but a pair of white lacy boy-shorts. Her breasts were bare and full and Killian couldn’t stop himself from running his thumbs across her sensitive nipples.
She hissed, wrapped her hands around his thick wrists. Her hands left his wrists and flittered down to cover her abdomen, hiding her pregnant belly from view.
“What’re you doin’?”
His voice sounded gritty even to himself but he wanted to know why she was covering her delectable body from his sight.
“I don’t look like I used to,” She said softly.
Obviously, she was nervous about him seeing her naked now that she was well into her pregnancy, but Green found her beautiful no matter what.
“You’re right, you look better. Get on that bed and spread your legs for me, baby. I wanna see that pussy I’ve been dreamin’ about.”
Just like it always had, his dirty talk had her doing exactly as he asked, and it was a heady feeling, knowing she was as taken with him as he was with her.
Emily fell back against the pillows and scooted towards the head of the bed, watching him the whole time. He slipped out of his jeans and underwear, tossed them aside, and joined her on the bed.
“Wait,” She breathed.
Her heavy breasts were shaking with her deep breaths, and it had Green reaching down to tug one nipple between his fingers while the other hand slipped beneath her panties and removed them.
“What?,” He asked.
Her eyes closed for just a second when he found her clit before they flicked back open.
“Have you been tested? Are you clean?”
Her words didn’t exactly surprise him, but he didn’t want to spend more time on that conversation than needed.
“Yes, and I have the paperwork to prove it.”
She reached up to kiss him then, her tongue snaking between his lips, her teeth tugging on his bottom lip. This was the Emily he was used to, that he missed, that he’d been wanting for so long.
As he knocked her knees apart with his own and spread her wide against the mattress, he remembered what she liked as if it were muscle memory.
His hands slid to her knees and he held her legs down against the bed as he rubbed the head of his cock against her slick clit. Coated in her juices, he knew she was wet as fuck, and he couldn’t wait to get inside her.
She was moaning his name, writhing beneath him, and it was all the motivation he needed. He lifted her knees the slightest bit as he positioned himself at her entrance, his cock sliding in a fraction of an inch. She squealed, her cheeks flushed, her pretty eyes peeking up at him from beneath her lashes.
She was so wet he was enveloped by her warm pussy instantly, and God did it feel good. Green wasn’t so sure his dick would remember what they’d done before, but it knew exactly what to do once it was buried to the hilt inside his old lady.
Her body bowed slightly beneath his grip and he lifted his hands to rest on the mattress on either side of her head.
Emily squirmed, but he kept up a slow pace, savoring every inch of her soft body. Green bent forward and nibbled on her collarbone, bit her soft and tender skin, sucked her nipple into his mouth. As he suckled her, she cried out, her fingers gripping his hair just like he always loved.
Her legs wrapped around his hips and he picked up the pace, growling her name against her skin as he felt his dick jump from the pure pleasure.
He lifted her against him with one arm, still working her over, still fucking her like he’d wanted to do for months. Emily wrapped an arm around his neck and helped him, gave him everything.
They were covered in a thin sheen of sweat, their bodies slick, but neither one of them cared about that.
She’s my old lady.
Mine, mine, mine-
My fucking woman.
Green was overwhelmed with that commitment really meant, so much so, that he felt his body working towards an orgasm faster than he would have liked.
Desperate to make sure his lady came first, he reached for her clit again and rolled it between his fingers as he watched her writhe in pure bliss.
There it is, she’s so gorgeous, yes-
With a cry, her nails scraped along his spine and her whole body stiffened while she came, her mouth fused to the side of his neck, her tongue tasting his sweaty skin. Green rested his head against the pillow beneath her head as he came, his entire body rocking against hers, pleasure rippling along his skin like a stiff breeze.
“Fuck,” He gritted against her skin, his hands caressing the line of her shoulder.
Emily’s breathing hitched as he rolled them onto their sides, his arm tucked under her head.
“That was amazing,” She breathed.
Green knew she was right and leaned in to kiss her, because at that moment everything in their lives was perfect.
She was perfect.
They’d finally reconnected and found one another again, just like he said that they would. Sure, their path was rocky, almost as rocky as Rayna and Fury’s, but fuck it.
Green didn’t want an
yone else, and judging by the way that she was looking up at him, like he was her entire world.
“I love you, ya know.”
Emily’s entire face lit up as she nuzzled closer to his chest, her hands splayed against his skin.
“Have you thought about whether or not you want a boy or girl?”
Emily’s nose scrunched up in an adorable way that made him want to kiss her again.
“No. Maybe a girl. I don’t know what I’d do with a boy,” She said easily.
“Love him like I know you will. What about names?”
She hummed under her breath as she pondered that.
“Aria for a girl, I think. I like it. And I don’t know what I’ll name it if it’s a boy.”
Green settled back against the sheets and tugged her body closer to his, his hands buried in her hair.
This is what I’ve always wanted.
A family that won’t leave me high and dry.
“Green?”
“What?”
“What about your family? Have you talked to them?”
He tried not to let on how much the question bothered him, but he was sure he failed…
He always failed where they were concerned.
“My ma’s called me a few times. I still don’t have much to say.”
It was a cop out and they both knew it- Killian had a lot to say to his family, especially after they let some high and mighty broad use him as her fall guy. It still stung that they let Alannah off scot-free while he rotted in prison for three years, but oh well.
“Do you want me to invite your folks to my gallery show?”
“Absolutely-fuckin- not. This is all about you, baby. I don’t want bad blood taintin’ your success.”
Emily already knew all there was to know about his life before the Seven Deadlies, about Alannah and his family, about his penchant for robbing banks…Her father hadn’t been wrong.
Green did have a colorful, illegal past.
He was fucking proud of it, too.
It led him down the path that ended right at Emily’s feet, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Even though Emily looked like she was falling asleep, she nudged him gently.
She looked up at him with a clarity that surprised him.
“You want me to kill her?,” She asked drowsily.
Killian couldn’t help but chuckle under his breath as he pulled her into the circle of his arms and whispered, “You’ve been spending too much time with Rayna.”
Chapter 22
Emily wiped sweat from her brow as she worked her final painting into a thick golden frame, her arms shaking from the effort.
“Em! You know you’re not supposed to be doin’ this shit,” Limit said gruffly.
He took the frame from her hands and popped the canvas right into place, a grimace on his face.
She planted her hands on her hips and smiled up at him.
“Thank you. For taking the time the help me, today. I didn’t want anyone else to see these.”
He frowned at her, his dark brows lifting.
“Um, hate to braek it to ya, but you’re havin’ a show in t-minus less than twelve hours. A lot of fuckin’ people are gonna see these.”
Emily rolled her eyes and glanced at the twelve paintings she’d only finished the morning before. Oils, acrylics, and a lot of sweat and tears all culminated in one colorful array of art.
This is what you’ve wanted.
You fucking did it.
Emily smiled at Limit.
“You’re right.”
He scoffed and pointed at them.
“These are fuckin’ awesome, by the way. I don’t know shit about the fancy art stuff you and Scarlett studied, but from she tells me, you’re in a category all your own.”
Emily wrapped an arm around him, at least she tried to, as she nodded towards the paintings.
“I’m finally gonna sell the ones I painted after the first Ash fiasco. I couldn’t bear to part with them before, but now, I can’t stand to look at them. Thanks, Limit.”
Scarlett may be a little biased as Emily’s best friend, but it still made Emily feel like a million bucks to hear that her friend was so supportive of her work.
“Is Laney coming?,” Emily asked.
Limit slowly nodded.
“She said she wanted to see you again, spend more time with you. Said she wanted to see Rider through your eyes, which I gotta fuckin’ say, no one is prepared for. Losing a brother is heavy stuff, Em. These paintings? This art of yours? It hits home, right here.”
Limit slammed a palm over his chest and looked into her eyes, his sadness almost palpable.
If Limit of all people thought her art did its job, evoked emotion, then she must have done a damn fine job, because he didn’t have feelings.
“Thank you,” She whispered.
Just then Limits phone rang and he hurried to answer it.
“Yeah?”
A moment of silence as Emily studied the last photo they’d framed. It was of just Rider, standing against the door frame to her lanai at her old apartment. She was smiling at him from across the balcony, wearing the same yellow dress from her dream, and even though no one knew it, it was her favorite.
It was a moment that made her question her sanity, yeah, but damn did it still resonate with her.
“Scarlett said she’ll be here in a little with the movers to package these and get them to the gallery. Are you ready for this, little girl?”
Emily rolled her eyes.
“Yes, oh wise commander and chief.”
Limit narrowed his eyes at her and then motioned towards one of the paintings farther away from the rest. It was covered with a sheet, but Emily knew it was framed beneath the white sheet and that it was in fact that most important thing she’d ever painted.
I just hope that Killian understands that, too.
Limit looked skeptical when she waved towards the rest of the paintings instead.
“Worry about those. That one isn’t going to be hung, it’s the centerpiece for the entire collection. It has a special location at the gallery.”
Limit nodded and went to open the doors to her studio when they heard knocking, only to reveal Green, Slayer, and Torch.
“What are you guys doin’ here?”
Green wiggled his brows at her and nodded towards the paintings.
“We’re your movers, you lucky SOB. Scarlett called and said the movers were stuck two cities over in traffic. Sorry, lady.”
Emily held up a hand.
“None of these are to be looked at, peeked at, or mishandled in any way. Got it?”
Slayer scratched the back of his neck and grimaced.
“Um, maybe I shouldn’t be handlin’ them, then.”
Emily smiled at him, then.
“I know you’ll do a fine job. You’re a great help, Slayer.”
His face lit up with a smile at her words and he nodded confidently before he headed for the art, lifting one covered frame easily into his arms.
Green winked at her and mouthed thank you.
Emily nodded and moved to stand outside, only after giving specific instructions in regard to her most important piece.
After each man promised to be careful, she stepped outside into the sunlight and caught sight of Scarlett, still on the phone.
“I don’t care! I want the correct lighting delivered, that I ordered, or you’re not getting a dime!”
Emily smiled at the irritation in her friend’s voice, knowing full well Ms. Scarlett Hunter would get exactly what she wanted, and nothing less.
Bryan would be impressed with how well her friend would pull her show off.
“How’s my favorite artist? You ready for tonight?”
Emily shook her head as she watched her ol’ man heft a heavy painting into Limit’ waiting arms, who arranged it neatly in the back of their moving truck.
“Not at all, Scar. I’m tired and nervous, and all I can think about is how diffe
rent things will be after tonight’s show.”
Scarlett glanced at Green, her hazel eyes dating back and forth before she said, “He’ll say yes. You know he will.”
Emily wasn’t so sure he would, seeing as how they’d never talked about where their relationship would go. Sure, they’d agreed to be serious, but…they hadn’t even discussed moving out of the clubhouse, yet.
“You hear back from Carter?,” Emily asked.
Scarlett nodded.
“He’ll be there tonight. Key in hand.”
Emily nodded, still nervous, but also starving.
“I think I’m gonna head home and get showered, shave, eat something. I’m hungry as hell and I know I’ll need all the strength I can get tonight. We’re going to have a full house.”
Carter, Laney, the entire club. Emily knew Axel and a couple of his guys were coming, too, and that meant a lot of people she actually knew were going to be there to see her and her work.
I can do this, right?
The first time she’d had a show, not many people she actually knew were there to see it. It had been small and private, but she’d still made enough money to live off of. Her father had seen to it that every detail was perfect, and this time around, Scarlett would be seeing to that.
Scarlett wrapped an arm around her shoulders and squeezed, her hand floating down to rest on her belly.
“You’re going to do great, Em. You were made to do this. And after, you can take a break and work in the garage. You can rest easy.”
Emily knew her friend was right, so she just nodded and rested one of her own hands on her belly.
“You’re so right. But, Green was right. I needed this. This was something just for me that made me feel more like myself than anything has in a long time, and I hadn’t even realized how important that is until today.”
Scarlett smiled.
“See? We learned something new, every day. I’m glad we’ve got the old Emily back. I was afraid we’d never see her again.”
Emily knew that was the truth, and while she wasn’t exactly the same, she knew she was far better off than she had been a few months ago.
“I’ll see you at six-thirty,” Emily said softly.
