Beck grabbed a pillow and put it behind his head as he lay flat on the bed. Patrick helped her straddle him and then Patrick whispered, “Take his cock inside you, little tiger.”

Her hair fell over her shoulders and she positioned Beck’s cock at her opening as Patrick applied more lubricant to her asshole and sheathed his cock in a condom. This was going to be a tight fit because both of their cocks were generous. He didn’t want her to hurt later. He put away the lube and came up behind her and stroked her back and shoulders. He watched as she slowly slid down over the head of Beck’s cock and teased herself with that first few inches of his length, a happy moan coming from her.

Patrick watched in lustful fascination as her body enveloped his cock over and over, taking more and more of him until she was riding up and down on his whole length and Beck grasped her hips and stopped her.

Panting, he said, “I don’t want to stop, sweetness, but I have to. You feel too good. I want to last.”

Lucy nodded and looked over her shoulder at him and smiled. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes were heavy-lidded with desire. She tilted her ass up to him and he smiled back. Little temptress. Little tiger. She knew what she wanted and she went for it.

He fit his cock to her rear opening and groaned as he pressed and felt the tight ring resist him, squeezing his head. She arched her back and he leaned back a little so he could watch as he flexed his hips in a gentle thrusting motion against her opening, steadily demanding entry.

Lucy dropped her head forward and moaned. “So hot. So tight.”

  “Feel good, sweetness?”

“Yes. So full,” she whimpered as he breached her opening and the head slid in. A wave of shivers and gooseflesh swept over him at the hot sensation of entering her forbidden opening. He stroked her ass and held still, giving her a chance to adjust. He breathed out when she began to move against him, and between the two of them.

“Oh fuck, that is incredible,” Beck said, his words ending with a gasp as she ground her hips experimentally between them.

Lucy flicked her hair back and Patrick gathered it into a thick rope as her sensual rhythm became more confident.

“Lucy, you’re a natural,” Patrick whispered, as he leaned forward and sighed at the feel of her warm back against his chest. She gasped at the heat transfer and leaned back against him, seeming more sure of herself by the second.

“It’s so good, guys. I don’t think I’m gonna last much longer!”

“Me either,” Patrick replied as he rose up again. He held her hair with one hand and stroked her ass with the other, watching as his dick slid in and out of her tight hole. She breathed out and continued her smooth circular rhythm between them, taking both their cocks in a sinuous in-and-out pace that left her always filled with one or the other of them.

Her body vibrated with tension all around them, and he could hear the bliss in her voice as she cried out, “I feel it! Here it comes!” She quickened her movements and threw her head back with a wail as her asshole and cunt tightened torturously around them, dragging them with her as she rode each wave.

Patrick couldn’t hold back any longer as he slid deep and thrust powerfully until the orgasm ripped through his control and his cum exploded from him in searing streams. Pleasure streaked along his nerve endings and reverberated in his soul as he listened to her cries of ecstasy and Beck’s howl of fulfillment.

Minutes later, they were still piled together, breathing and sighing with pleasure in the aftermath. Beck finally nudged Patrick and said in a strained voice, laced with humor, “Can’t. Breathe. Crushing. Me.”

Lucy giggled and they both groaned at the sensation on their cocks and Patrick gently pulled from her tender opening. After cleaning her up, he quickly showered.

Returning to the bed a few minutes later, the first thing he noticed was the sound of her sniffling against Beck’s chest as they lay facing each other on their sides. Beck whispered to her as he stroked his fingers through her hair and smiled at him with reassurance in his eyes as Patrick rejoined them.

“Luce, you okay?” Patrick asked as he swept his hand down her back. She turned so that she was between them and nodded as she swiped at her cheeks.

  “Did we hurt you?”

Lucy smiled and gave him a watery chuckle. “No. You didn’t hurt me. You made sure I was well prepared for the two of you. Nearly drove me crazy with all that teasing. It was even better than I thought it would be.”

Beck kissed her shoulder. “So you’ll be wanting to do that again, huh, Juicy Lucy?” Beck’s tone held a trace of humor but Patrick saw the concern in his eyes.

Lucy nodded and sniffled again. “Oh yeah. If it’s like that. Yeah.”

“Good,” Patrick said. “Then why the tears?”

“I’m so happy. And relieved that we worked everything out. And…”

  “And?” Beck asked,

“I love you. I love you both so much.”

If she hadn’t said it first, Patrick knew he would have. “You are the most amazing, caring woman, Lucy. I love you, too.” She tilted up her chin for a kiss from him.

The evening had certainly been tumultuous, he thought, recalling with painful regret the way he and Beck had confronted her early in the evening. He’d been remembering the day he’d discovered Elizabeth’s betrayal. Lucy wasn’t anything like Elizabeth but he’d treated her as though she was, based simply on her appearance. He was worse than his dad in that sense. He regretted hurting her feelings. With the way they’d pushed her, he felt especially grateful that she still loved them

When Patrick released her, Beck claimed her, looking into her eyes as he stroked her cheek, her nose and her lower lip. “I love you, woman. I may fuck up from time to time, but make no mistake about it. I love you so much it hurts. Probably should’ve told you a long time ago.”

Lucy smiled. “I was just waiting for the perfect moment. I wanted to sit each one of you down separately and tell you. But…”

“But when we’re not working, we’re all together, right?” Beck asked with a nod.

“Yes. And today, when I was thinking about you, and getting so excited about seeing you, I realized that I just needed to let it out, to both of you together. I love both of you whether we’re all together as a family or just one on one. And Patrick, you already know I love PJ.”

Patrick kissed her fingertips and smiled at her. “I know you do. He knows you do. Your love is a sweet, palpable thing.”

“You knew I loved you?” she asked softly, looking from one to the other.

Beck traced a pattern over her breast, stroking her softened nipple to a hard peak as he said, “I remember thinking one day that you reminded me of a honeybee, taking care of everyone. Doing what needed doing. In my mind that equates with love, which you show to lots of people. But when you look into my eyes I feel special. Like I get more.”

“He’s right, Lucy. I feel like we get the best of your love. I imagine PJ must feel like that, too, given the way he lights up when you come in the room.”

Lucy stretched like a contented cat between them and sighed. “I don’t guess it matters when or how we said it or when we first felt it. I love you both and I’m glad what happened earlier didn’t change that.”

Beck let out a relieved breath. “I’m the one who was at fault. I fucked it all up.”

Patrick chuckled. “We both had our territorial asshole moments, Beck.”

Lucy waved a hand. “It’s in the past. We all three have tempers. What matters is we don’t sacrifice what we have for pride.”

Patrick kissed her nose and said, “Never. We’re learning.” He looked at Beck, thinking that Beck had been the one in the hot seat that night but it just as easily could’ve been him. “Tonight was an eye-opening experience.”

Lucy giggled. “In more ways than one. I saw stuff on the parade loop that cannot be unseen.”

Beck laughed out loud. “Did you see that one guy that was wearing nothing but a—”

&n
bsp; “A tube sock on his dick?” Lucy said and burst into giggles. “Yes. He’s there every year, or so I’ve been told.”

They talked and laughed into the wee hours of the morning, remembering the drunken dancing women, the growl of motorcycles that looked like they’d had more invested in them than a house, and the “anything goes” atmosphere of the huge gathering. What Patrick took away from the rally, that he valued the most, was the way their friends had looked out for Lucy, and for each other. And the way Lucy and her friends had felt safe enough to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, regardless of whether they went topless or not.

  Chapter Twenty

Patrick tucked into his Shiner Bock at the Dancing Pony while he waited for Beck to arrive. Beck had called him just a few minutes before, telling him that he was running late but that he’d be there soon. He’d called Patrick earlier in the day to tell him that he had something he wanted to talk to him about.

Ethan came over and said, “Beck running late? You two usually walk in together.” Patrick wasn’t surprised that Ethan had noticed that. The man had proved over the years that he was perceptive.

“Yeah, he called a minute ago to tell me he’s up to his ass in alligators but that he’d be here.”

Ethan grinned. “Honeybees are keeping him really busy this year?”

Patrick grinned and nodded. “Yeah. Business has been great. We haven’t seen much of him this week at all.”

“I hear from the ladies, including Gracie, how much they love his beeswax products. He’s really developed a following with them and I can see how this could develop into something huge for him.”

Patrick shrugged. “Beck is pretty laid back. He may hire help but he likes being a one-man operation. Lucy helps whenever he’ll let her.”

Ethan raised an eyebrow and grinned. “She’s another one that I hear is keeping really busy. Tabitha Lester still giving her fits?”

Patrick nodded. “Yeah. She’s not letting it get her down though. The business that she lost in the beginning has all been replaced. I was a little worried about her not taking time for herself but she told me that she and Madeleine Sinclair are trading massages twice a month.”

“That’s good. I’d hate to see her taking care of everyone else and neglecting her own needs. Maybe you guys should take some massage classes and take care of her at home, too.”

Patrick chuckled. “I’m actually already looking into that.”

“Your lady is sure to appreciate it.”

Patrick grinned, thinking that was an understatement. She’d talked him into giving her another massage just a couple of nights before. Beck had been in on that one and it’d gone over really well with their woman.

“How are things going with that investigation you told us about, for Chloe Rhodes and her sister?”

“We’re planning a meeting soon. Mel and Connor are still working with Ace and Kemp, trying to iron out some details before they set their plan in motion. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear when the meeting is scheduled for. Want another?” Ethan asked as Patrick emptied the glass.

  “Sure.”

Patrick’s phone started ringing as Ethan placed the full glass in front of him.

  “Hello?”

“Hi, honey, it’s me,” Lucy said. He smiled at the sound of her soft voice.

  “Hey, what’s up?”

“Um. I need to ask you something.” Her tone sounded worried which in turn worried him.

“Val Teller just called me. He said he keeps having a muscle spasm and he wondered if I could give him a massage. He’s in town right now.”

Patrick sighed but before he could speak she cut him off.

“If it bothers you, I’ll send him to Madeleine. He only needs an upper body massage.”

Beck tipped his chin up in silent greeting as he took the seat next to Patrick at the bar.

“Luce, don’t second-guess yourself, okay? This is your job, baby. If you’re comfortable massaging Val then we are, too. We know he’s a good guy, but more importantly, we trust you.”

“You sure? I’m afraid Beck is going to—”

“Beck feels the same way I do, Luce,” Patrick said and glanced at Beck as he smiled at Ethan and paid for his beer.

Beck looked him in the eye, smirked, and then crooked his finger at Patrick’s phone. “Let me talk to her, man.”

“Luce, Beck wants to talk to you.”

“Um, okay.” She sounded really hesitant.

Beck put the phone to his ear. “Hey, sweetness. How is your day?” His tone was soft and loving, setting her at ease, Patrick hoped. Beck looked at Patrick as he listened to her soft voice explaining. “Bottom line, I trust you. This is your business and you’re good at it. My personal feelings have nothing to do with it, baby. And he’s not so bad. We talked a bit last weekend at the rally while you and Patrick rode in the parade and I think we understand each other. Okay. I love you, too. Here’s Patrick.”

  “Luce?”

“I believe in miracles. That’s all I’m saying,” she whispered with a giggle. “I’m going to call Val back and let him know I can massage him now. You’re sure it’s not a problem for you?”

“Not at all. I love you, little tiger. See you tonight.”

Lucy giggled. “I love when you call me that. I love you, too.” He ended the call and replaced his phone.

Beck had a slight smile on his face before he took a sip of his Shiner Bock. “How’d that feel going down?” he asked as he looked at Patrick knowingly.

“Stuck a little in my throat, but I lived.”

“I didn’t enjoy it either but it’s my fault. She shouldn’t have to call us to get permission to do her job.”

Patrick let out a sigh and nodded at another friend as he walked past him. “You know what? I think she understands and accepts that we’re territorial. What bothers her is being confronted and being told what she can and can’t do.”

“At least we don’t have to worry about her being able to defend herself. She damn near snapped my fingers off when I fussed about the Abbott brothers.” He flexed his fingers as if he was remembering the moment. “She’s stronger than she looks.”

Patrick smiled broadly as he flexed his shoulders, enjoying the sensation of the scratch mark that still lingered on his back from the night before. “Yeah, she’s a little wildcat.”

Beck groaned and closed his eyes, a smile crossing his face, too. “Did ya have to remind me?”

Patrick tipped his beer to his lips with a smile. “No regrets, man.”

Beck let out a long sigh and nodded. “None.” The contentment in his eyes said it all.

“Ethan said they’ll be meeting with Ace and Kemp, and those other investigators soon, about Chloe Rhode’s case.”

Beck raised his eyebrows in interest and said, “Good. I’m glad you wanted to help. I’d like to see her have some justice. I felt bad for not knowing more about her past.”

“She never wanted to talk about it?”

“No. But I could’ve pushed her a little and encouraged her to open up.”

“Don’t feel bad, Beck. Everything happens for a reason. She’s happy and we have Lucy. I never knew what pushed Elizabeth to act the way she did, either. Not that I’m comparing my cheating ex-wife with Chloe. I’ll take what we have today over anything in the past.”

“I know, me, too.” Beck cleared his throat and toyed with the edge of his beer glass. “I wanted to talk to you about something important.”

  “Okay.”

“You’ve got PJ to be concerned about so I wanted to put it to you and see what you thought first. How do you think things are going with Lucy? Are you ready to take it to the next level?”

“It depends on what you mean by the next level. Are you asking if I want us to move in together? If so, the answer is no. Not with PJ around. I want him to have as much stability as possible and I’m not the type to ask her to live with me anyway. No judgment at all, Beck. Okay? I know you lived with Chloe
. I prefer to wait until we’re ready for something permanent.”

“No offense taken. That was what Chloe and I both wanted at the time. This—with Lucy—is different.”

“Do you think you’re ready to make a permanent commitment? Like…vows?”

Beck nodded, looking into his beer before turning his gaze to Patrick. “I’m ready for something permanent with her. How about you?”

Patrick turned to face him at the bar. “Two years ago, when I was still stinging from Elizabeth’s betrayal, I would’ve said you were crazy if you’d told me I’d love and trust someone enough to make that kind of commitment ever again.”

“Things are different now, aren’t they? It’s the same way for me, man. I wanted to die after I found out Chloe was engaged. I was ashamed for letting a woman have that kind of hold on me, to have the power to make me want to die, I missed her so much. But Lucy has a way about her.”

Swallowing the lump in his throat at the memory of the way her eyes had glazed over with passion the night before, Patrick nodded. “But this is even more than that. It’s not just her that I’d be making the commitment to. It’s the three of us. You’re my best friend, Beck. I’d be there for you, too. As a brother.”

Beck grinned and lifted his glass. “To the two luckiest motherfuckers in the universe.”

Patrick drank the toast and then said, “That’s if she’ll have us. I’ll talk to PJ about it and see what he thinks, too.”

“I’ll talk to him with you if that’s okay.”

  “Sure.”

Beck pulled a jeweler’s box from his pocket and opened it so Patrick could see the slightly worn-looking diamond engagement ring nestled inside it. He’d carried it on his key chain for months and it definitely showed the wear and tear. “Reckon that’ll polish up good enough?”

Patrick groaned and buried his face in his hands. “No way, man.”

Beck frowned. “But Chloe never wore it. If it’s a little scuffed up, I bet Clay could buff it up pretty for Lucy.”
