The Commander's Fated Mate

Page 21

by Lily Anton

The obscene sound of skin slapping against skin filled the room as he leaned back to look down at her, gripping her hips now as he watched himself repeatedly sink into her. He could feel the pressure in him rising just as he felt something move through his engorged member, ready to empty itself into her body.

Leila lay panting beneath him, completely exposed with her breasts bouncing and legs spread, the gently curved softness of her belly moving with the motion. Soon her stomach would grow and she would look even more beautiful for it.

She was tensing around him, her orgasm building slowly as she felt him twitch inside her, all but vibrating with the need to release.

Her eyes found his before they lowered, taking in his broad chest and strong arms that were holding her firmly in place.

He was gorgeous in his lack of control, growling under his breath as his thrusts picked up speed, the friction inside her quickly building up her pleasure until she was crying out, her orgasm exploding over her as she pulsated around him.

Leila barely heard his roar over the sound of blood rushing in her ears, his body giving one last great thrust as he buried himself deep within her, leaning down to cradle her against him as his true seed flooded into her.

Even as she rode the waves of her orgasm, she could feel his second cock elongating even more inside of her, the tip of it repeatedly rubbing against her cervix as it demanded entry, more and more of his thick spend shooting into her and bringing her to climax again.

“Yessss,” she moaned, knowing without a doubt that she was being impregnated.

She held onto him tightly as he continued to fill her, listening to him growl through his violent orgasm, his hips gently thrusting of their own accord, ensuring that his seed would take.

Her body welcomed it all, her walls continuing to contract and force more and more of it towards her womb.

It felt like an eternity before the warmth between her legs decreased, neither of them having any idea how much time passed as they eventually let go of one another, their breaths shaky and uneven.

  Ezon peered down at her.

Leila was a sweaty mess, her body sated as she looked up at him with hooded eyes. “Hi.”

He wore a dazed smile as he laughed breathlessly. “Hello.”

Another flood of something warm and much much thicker shooting up between her legs startled her before triggering a smaller orgasm, eliciting a faint gasp as she’d been wholly unprepared.

Ezon shuddered, closing his eyes in pleasure, a deep sense of satisfaction permeating through him as he accomplished what he’d set out to do.

He would feel the same sense of completion coming from her as well.

  “What was that?”

Ezon kissed her as they remained joined together, his body literally sealing the deal. “It is to keep as much of my true seed within your body as possible.”

“Efficient” she murmured against his lips, only to yawn into his mouth a moment later.

Ezon kissed the tip of her nose, as he continued to twitch inside her. “I have worn you out.”

  “Mm-hmm.”

She mumbled in complaint a few minutes later as he slowly pulled out.

Whatever he had just filled her with had thickened considerably within her, preventing the usual feel of his spend trickling out of her. At least she wouldn’t have to worry about his seed dripping down her legs when she walked.

He left the bed, her sweat cooling against her skin and causing her to shiver at the loss of his body heat. She wanted to sleep, but the thought of getting under the blankets in such a state was not appealing.

Leila wasn’t sure how long she rested her eyes for, but she cracked them open as she felt a warm damp cloth moving up her leg. Ezon was at the end of the bed, absolute perfection in all his naked glory, a look of intense concentration on his face.

‘My serious mate.’ The thought brought a small smile to her lips.

Her self-conscious need to cover herself up now that they weren’t in the throes of passion was overruled by his attentiveness as he gently removed the sweat from her skin, her nipples pebbling as the cloth smoothed over them before trailing lower and settling between her legs.

Ezon did this almost every time they slept together, insisting he enjoyed taking care of her in such a way, while she always insisted he didn’t have to. Today though, she kept quiet, humming in dazed enjoyment as he tenderly wiped her sex.

The sense of pure contentment she had felt radiating off of him began to fade as he finished cleansing her skin, causing Leila to blink open her eyes. Gone was his adorable look of intense concentration, his mouth set in a firm line which he tried to get rid of as he sensed her eyes on him.

“Tell me what’s wrong,” she asked softly, just as he got off the bed and threw the damp cloth towards the bathing room. He grabbed a throw from the ottoman by the window, shaking it out and allowing it to settle over her body.

Before she could ask him again, Ezon was back on the bed, looking at her with concern.

“I am all but certain my true seed took to your womb.”

That was not what she was expecting to hear since that had been the whole point, but she nodded. How he was certain about that, she had no idea, but he knew his biology better than she did and she wasn’t about to argue otherwise.

Plus, she was pretty sure she had felt it happen. “Okay,” she started slowly, trying to figure out what he was trying to say. “I think that was the plan, right?”

His eyes left her for a moment. “Do you...Are you happy?”

Rarely did he stumble over his words, and his question was so out of the blue. Did she not look happy? She was pretty sure she was the very definition of ‘happily sexed out’ right now. But then his previous statement came to mind about how he was so certain he’d just gotten her pregnant.

The look of realization crossed her face as she leaned over and kissed his forehead. It was hard for her to remember sometimes that he could feel just as insecure about things as she did.

“I do not regret what we just did. Not a single bit.”

Ezon’s shoulders relaxed as an immense feeling of relief radiated from him.

She took his hand, guiding it under the blanket he’d put over her and placing it low on her abdomen. It was too soon, she knew, and she was definitely not one to think there was now a baby in there yet by any means, but he needed reassurance.

His breath shuddered as his palm splayed over her belly, giving it a gentle squeeze as his thumb caressed her skin there. Perhaps it was her imagination, but a sense of fullness had settled deep within her.

“No regrets…” she whispered, closing her eyes and letting herself drift off to sleep.

  EPILOGUE: PART II

  leila

  One week later...

The sound of several conversations floated over her as she went to sit at a large round table set outside on one of the palace’s numerous terraces, the faint piney smell of Lavena in the air as the sea breeze blew in.

From where they were on the third floor of the vast estate, they had a stunning view of the pink sands and azure blue water in the distance.

Beautiful silverware and china had already been placed, along with a vase full of local flowers at its center. Several ice cold carafes filled with various fruit juices and water were brought in as they all took their seats.

She had introduced the concept of ‘brunch’ to those on Debiraan only a month ago, but it had caught on like wildfire. Whether because Debirs actually enjoyed it or because they heard about such things happening at the palace, was anyone’s guess. Although Leila thought it was probably both.

Rumor had it that obtaining an invitation to brunch with her was being increasingly sought out, although apparently the palace had representatives politely declining on her behalf. She made a mental note to plan a larger, more formal brunch for diplomacy’s sake.

Her weekly brunches had been meant to be just a few people; namely Rose’s mother Vivienne, (whom sh
e had first seen during that horrifying ordeal with the Baza), Caleza (whose social calendar was almost always packed), and Ezon’s mother.

Today, a few more folks were added into the mix, minus Caleza.

Viv had expressed concern for two women: both humans in their mid-twenties, that had requested to come live on Debiraan for reasons unknown to her.

Despite voluntarily being on this planet, Viv had noticed their self-isolation and was trying to bring them out of their shells a little. They needed to know they had a support system here.

Leila didn’t think a brunch would solve that problem, but as she looked across the table she found Ezon’s mother Elzi (the current Queen of Debiraan) happily explaining to the two women, Bethany and Ali, the types of juices they could choose from.

Honestly, Leila would have killed for a mimosa right about now but considering the only sparkling wine produced on Debiraan had a much higher alcohol content, it didn’t seem wise to include it for a day function.

“How’s Rose doing?” she asked Viv as they placed napkins in their laps.

“Good,” the woman replied with a relieved smile. “You wouldn’t ever know she had been sick to begin with. With no school taking place yet, she’s been spending almost all her free time in the pool of all things.

She’s really taken to her swimming lessons,” Viv laughed, shaking her head as she remembered the overwhelming motherly panic she had felt when her daughter had almost drowned a few months ago. “She’s made several friends with the children there.”

Leila smiled, happy to hear Rose had rebounded the way only a six-year old could. The fact that the little girl had been terminally ill just a year ago was still unbelievable.

“How’s it going with Opho?” she asked, thanking the palace attendants as they offered to pour her choice of juice into her glass.

Leila could have sworn the woman’s olive skin tinged pink at the innocent question.

Viv had been working with the doctor for a few months now; a desire to continue with her medical career that had been cut short when Rose had gotten sick.

Debir or human, it didn’t matter to the woman; as long as she helped people she would be happy.

“It’s good. He’s…” Viv picked up her glass, taking a sip. “Things are good. Everything is good.”

Leila pretended that she hadn’t noticed her reaction to the innocuous question, her smile hidden as she took a sip of juice from her own glass, only to grimace as she swallowed.

  It was horribly bitter.

Ezon’s mother, Elzi, noticed her expression. “Is something wrong with the vatta juice? It is dark enough in color that it should be sweet.”

Leila frowned at her glass in confusion. “It’s really bitter.”

Indeed, the color of it was a deep red, a clear sign that the juice from her favourite fruit on Debiraan should have been sweet and tart, much like a blood orange.

Viv shrugged beside her, having chosen vuxul juice, which was essentially the Debir equivalent of a watermelon.

Bethany was the only other person that had opted for the vatta juice, and she cautiously took a sip, swallowing in pleasant surprise. “It’s not bitter at all.”

There was only one carafe of it on the table, which left her wondering what the hell was going on.

A soft gasp caught her attention, Elzi’s light blue eyes glowing

  and directed right at her.

Before Leila could even ask, food was being brought out and she kindly asked for an empty glass in order to select something else to drink.

Food took precedence over talking for the moment, and once they began to enjoy their meals, conversation picked up again and Elzi’s unusual reaction had been forgotten although Leila caught the reigning Queen glancing her way when she thought Leila wasn’t paying attention. She’d ask her about it later.

Both Leila and Rose were surprised to find out that Bethany had just completed culinary school on Earth before arriving here last year, and was interested in picking apart the food on her plate in order to try and identify each component.

Elzi’s offer to have her advise the palace kitchen staff about human food had been met with shy acceptance.

Ali had remained relatively quiet, smiling here and there during conversation and seemingly happy just to be around other people. She only spoke up once, when Leila mentioned she was fielding requests for animals on Earth that would be appropriate to bring over to Debiraan.

Apparently dogs as pets were something that had fascinated Debirs, but she was in no way qualified to deal with that except at a very high level.

  .

From what she had been told by some of the planet’s top xenobiologists, the risks were minimal but there were still so many things to take into consideration.

  “Is there...I mean...Do you know if there’s a chance I could apply…”

It had been the most Ali had spoken in the past hour, everyone going silent which only made the young woman more nervous.

Leila immediately went to work, keeping her tone casual and friendly.

“Sure! I don’t have any sort of formal interview process in place right now, so let’s just schedule some time to meet this coming week to talk about it some more.”

Ali smiled, nodding her head. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Leila assured her, watching as Bethany nudged her friend’s shoulder in support.

“Any exciting plans for the day?” Viv asked them. “I may join Rose in the kiddie pool, which let’s face it, is Olympic size by human standards.”

Even Elzi laughed at that, the woman even more determined to learn about human culture now that she had a human daughter-by-bond.

The woman had been one of the first Debirs here on the planet that had obtained a translation unit, which turned out to be more like an implant than anything.

Leila and the other humans at the table had also gone ahead and requested one since this was their home now.

Bethany mentioned she had a list of Debir recipes she had been planning on reviewing, and Ali surprised them all by saying she had plans to spar with some of the Debir.

“Well that’s badass,” Leila exclaimed, and then had to explain to Elzi what that meant because the literal translation had not made sense. The older woman apparently found it hilarious.

The thought of learning to spar was appealing. “It’s probably a good work out too. Maybe I’ll try my hand at it. One day I may be able to throw Ezon over my shoulder.”

Considering how large the man was, the thought was comical to all the ladies seated at the table.

“My dear, all you would have to do is tell my son to throw himself over your shoulder and he’d do so willingly,” Elzi pointed out, a smirk on her lips as she went to grab her glass.

She did her best not let embarrassment show on her face, chuckling good naturedly with everyone else at the statement.

It was only embarrassing because it was probably true.

Despite not being an affectionate couple in public, there was no denying that Elzi knew her son was devoted to his huerta and that the feeling was very mutual. Not only had Leila lucked out with a mate, but she was pretty sure she had won the ‘In-Law’ jackpot.

Coffee and tea, both imported from Earth, arrived once the food was cleared away, which had somehow become the official way all of Debiraan now ended their meals.

Almost two hours had gone by since they’d first been seated, and as coffee and tea were finished, conversation turned to goodbyes until only Leila and Elzi remained.

“Being with you ladies always makes me feel young again,” the Debir queen commented, sounding nostalgic.

Leila had no idea how old she was but age was difficult to tell with Debirs, and to her, Elzi looked no more than ten years her senior.

“You’re still young,” she countered, smiling as the woman waved away her comment, both of them moving to walk back inside.

They strolled along the corridors, occasionally nodding th
eir heads in acknowledgement as they passed various members of palace staff.

“How is your family back on Earth?” Elzi asked, bringing to mind the first video chat between parents, both pairs hilariously attempting to figure out what the perfect distance away from the camera was.
