  Jan Fields loves trying new needlecrafts from tatting lace to crocheting sweaters for her daughter’s dolls. She has designed a variety of soft toys and written articles on toy design. She has written sixteen books for an educational publisher and is working on a science fiction series for teens for the same publisher. Her short fiction and articles have appeared in a variety of magazine publications. When she’s not tapping away on her computer keyboard, she enjoys visiting new and interesting places around New England with her family.
