“Well we know of the rogues being tied to the God Ra, I’m not sure this is information the high council has yet. They could be trying to plan a coup before they’re discovered in detail. They must know that now that my brothers and I are back the prophecy has started and they are wanting to try and end things before they begin.” Anakin supposed.

“Gunnar are you able to sense anything in the future regarding this or the prophecy?” Jacobi asked.

“No, I’m still being blocked on all ends that way. Though Odin is being benevolent and has sent me feelings about which courses of action would lend to better or worse results,” Gunnar confirmed.

“Well, what is your opinion on how we proceed?” Nicolae asked.

“Someone is coming,” Liam interrupted, “a Seelie fae, I can feel the earth reacting to his magic, Aylin you should too if you concentrate hard enough.” Sure enough it’s like a part of the earth just outside of the house was shining with extra Earth magic and it was moving fairly quickly towards our direction.

“Ok, how do I kill it? Should I change?” I asked.

“No, no, little wolf, Seelie fae are usually the good guys, a little odd, but they wouldn’t be the one to harm you. It must be important for one of them to journey into our realm out of Faerie. I wonder if this is what the Goddess was talking about when she said something big was coming. This would definitely qualify,” Nicolae explained.

“Ooookkkk,” I drew out the word unsure of what to expect now. I was anxious, I didn’t have my knife on me. Anakin walked over to me and rubbed my lower back to help calm me. I sent grateful vibes to him over our bond which grew stronger by the hour. Soon I would be able to communicate telepathically with them when I chose.

  Knock. Knock. Knock.

“Well at least he has manners,” I whispered mostly to myself. We all moved into the hallway in front of the door. Nicolae then stepped forward to open the door to whatever Fae was on the other side of the door. The door swung open and a man with close cropped silver hair wearing a black t-shirt and jeans stood on the other side. Honestly if it weren’t for his slightly tipped ears and bare feet I wouldn't have thought him anything other than human.

“That is because I glamour my appearance to some degree as to not overwhelm those who have never seen a fae before,” the stranger spoke out loud.

“Did you just read my mind?” I asked defensively. Tala growling as well.

“Yes, it is one of my many talents and part of the reason your goddess sent me here to help you,” he confirmed.

  “Selene sent you?”

“Well who else would have sent me? I’m the only faerie left in the universe who knows how to transfer her power into you,” he replied, sounding genuinely confused why we didn’t know this.

“Can you clarify that please? What do you mean transfer Selene’s powers into Aylin?” Liam asked with a slightly hysterical edge to his voice. All my guys were suddenly tense and on edge.

“Well just that. How else is she supposed to fulfill the prophecy without becoming the Goddess’s living vessel? It’s the only way she can rightfully rule over all the shifters and protect them.” I heard a thud next to me. I turned to see Liam had completely fainted and fell onto the floor.

“Oh dear,” the male said. “That will probably hurt when he wakes up. May I come in now?” I waved him in, still in shock. This wasn’t how I planned on the evening going and by the look on my mates’ faces it wasn’t anything near what they were expecting either.

Trust in the Goddess and in yourself. Tala spoke to me. Well what other choice did I have? I guess next up on my list, become a motherfucking Goddess on Earth.
