Tank: Ruthless Bastards (RBMC Book 2)

Grabbing her phone out of her pocket, she called her best friend. It took three rings, but Suzie finally picked up.
“Hey Suz, I need a favor.”
“Sure, what do you need?”
Typical Suzie, no questions asked, just ready, willing, and able. Suzie had always been her partner in crime, best friend, and sounding board all her life, and Reagan didn’t know what she would do without the other woman.
“Any chance I could use the cabin for a couple of days?”
“Sure, but it’s been a while since I was able to go up there, the place is probably covered in dust. Do you remember how to turn on the generator and all the other stuff?”
“Yeah, I remember. Is the key still where it always is?
“Yep.”
“Okay, then. I’m going off the grid for a couple of days. If anyone asks, please don’t tell them where I am.”
“Rea, are you in trouble? Did something happen at the MC?”
“No. You know my time there was short. I just need a couple of days to lay low, and the cabin was the only place I could think of to do that.”
“Yeah, I get it. Maybe I can get Bill to let me off for a couple of days, and I’ll come up and join you. It’s been a long time since we had a girl’s night.”
“Hey, sounds good to me. After spending the last six months at the MC, I’m in desperate need of some girl time. Addy and Cinny were okay the last month or so, but it’s just wasn’t the same. If you can, don’t forget to bring the wine.”
“You got it, but, Rea, are you finally going to tell me what you were doing? You didn’t look or act the same while you were staying there. I didn’t like it.”
“I know Suz, but I can explain, and trust me, the old Reagan you know and love is still here. I just needed to be someone else for a little while. I’ll explain, I promise. I’m going to stop at the store and then head up to the cabin. Thanks again Suz.”
After getting off the phone with Suzie, Reagan went to the grocery store and then drove the two hours to get to the cabin. This place had been in Suzie’s family since the 1920s; it didn’t have electricity or even running water unless you consider the old hand pump plumbing. Regan didn’t. Thankfully though, it did have a bathroom with a working toilet one of those compost ones that campers used, it was the best solution for the problem so Reagan just lived with it because she loved the cabin. When they were teenagers and came up here, the trip to the outhouse was not a fun one.
The cabin was one room with a loft, the walls all logs. Reagan loved the feel of the place, it always made her think of home. Suzie’s family wasn’t like hers, they weren’t wealthy, but they also weren’t poor. The one thing that they did have that Reagan always envied, was love for each other. When Suzie’s parents were still alive, they spent summers at this cabin and Reagan often tagged along. They would have cook-outs, swim for hours, have campfires, and tell stories. Those times were possibly the best in her life.
She had always gotten a giddy feeling as soon as she started down the dirt road that led to the cabin and to this day, she still did. The smell, the air, everything was just better here. Someday, she wanted to own a place just like it for her own family. The one she hoped some day she would have, but chances of that now were slim to none. She needed to leave the area and that hurt. Taking these days to get her head on straight, figure a plan for the future, and say good bye were exactly what she needed.
Going inside Reagan spent the next couple of hours cleaning. Suzie hadn’t been joking, the place was dusty. Shoot, the last time she and Suz came up here had been over a year ago, and Reagan couldn’t remember if Suzie had been back by herself since. The cabin didn’t comfort Suzie as much as it did Reagan, it reminded her that her parents were gone, so it was always bitter sweet for her friend to visit.
With all the cleaning done, Reagan sat down on the old leather couch and cuddled up with an old quilt. She had poured herself a glass of wine and just wanted to put the entire last day behind her, but she couldn’t do that without thinking about Tank. Shit, the man was always on her mind, always had been. He was that one unattainable thing in her life, either he loved her or hated her, there was never an in-between with him, and Reagan was sick of it. Half the time, she didn’t know if she wanted to throw him down and fuck him or kick him square in the balls.
The last six months, being so close had been a true test of her strength and resolve. The man needed to wake the fuck up, but Reagan knew she wasn’t going to be the one to do that for him. Well, maybe in a sense, but he still had a lot of work to do. Until he forgave himself, there wouldn’t be letting anyone else in and if that person wasn’t going to be her, then she hoped she was far enough away to never witness it because it might kill her.
The things he had done and said to her both excited and enraged Reagan. Reagan had never once thought of herself as submissive. She worked hard to make something of herself and even harder to maintain that status. She had dual degrees in accounting and business. Even graduated at the top of both her high school and colleges classes. In the work place, she commanded and received respect from both her bosses and coworkers. But one second around Brayden and she was willing, craving, even falling to her knees to do anything and everything he asked.
What she couldn’t figure out was why. Reagan had other boyfriends and never once did she take the submissive role, sexually or otherwise. Hell, half the time, she had to tell them what she wanted or needed, and even then, the experiences were less than mediocre.
With Tank, he put his hands on her, and she spontaneously erupted. Her pussy would instantly soak, the tingles would start in her body, sending tiny electrical shocks straight to her clit and nipples. Then he would start to whisper in her ear all the things he wanted to do her, tying her to his bed to spend hours licking and kissing every part of her. Stripping her bare and fucking her up against the wall hard, fast, rough. Bending her over the pool table in front of the entire Club and fucking her senseless, so that everyone would know she was his.
It never stopped, every day the man would torture her. She both loved and hated it because she knew the words he was saying would never come true. He told her the very first day he would never fuck her, never make love to her, and definitely would never sleep with her. She was property, and assets only got what the owner deemed them worthy of, and to Tank, she wasn’t worthy. That sucked because he also did other things like fuck the other Puppets and hanger-on’s in front of her, the entire time staring right at her, taunting her with what she would never have because of what she had chosen.
It was a cruel, heartless game, but Reagan had been the one to accept it, so she lived with it. She also knew that Tank’s form of punishment wouldn’t hurt her half as bad as it would someday hurt him. That was the other reason she accepted his actions. Tank felt things deeply, always had, and the next few months were going to be very hard on him. Some people from the outside looking in would think she was a doormat, but she wasn’t, she just didn’t want to hurt him anymore than he’d already been hurt. His demons were fierce; Reagan hoped someday he would find someone who could help him banish them. She had once wanted to be that person, but knew now that wasn’t possible. She would always love him, she just couldn’t do anything more for him, now it was up to Tank to figure out his life. Reagan fell asleep exhausted both physically and mentally.
Reagan had felt his heat before she felt his touch. Tank, damn, the man did things to her that no one else ever could. When he touched her, it was like getting hit by lightning. Her nipples instantly went hard, her breasts felt heavy, and her pussy dampened. Hell, the greedy little bitch practically gushed.
“Do you like what you see, baby girl?” He said running his nose along her neck. “Is it turning you on?” Reagan could only moan and nod because the scene playing out in front of her was hot, but the man behind her was what was really turning her on. His voice, his body, hell, the hard length of him currently pushing into her ass, she craved it all. His lips so clo
se to her ear, damn, she could feel her pussy pulse with every dirty little word he said. “Watch, Rae, watch him take her, that could be us.” His hands were roaming Reagan body, working it like no other, never staying anywhere long enough to get what she really needed, to fly.
“Do you want that baby girl, me to take you here where everyone can see? To bend you over the pool table and drive my cock so far up in you that we will become one?”
Her breathing hitched. Damn, she did want that, she wanted Tank to drive into her hard and fast. She wanted to feel his possession of her body for days, hell, weeks to come. Reagan felt his hands moving down her sides, and she held her breath, would he? When his fingers scraped at the end of her shirt, she wanted to beg and plead, please, but she kept quiet, letting him do what he wanted to her body.
She felt his hand curl around her thigh, pulling it away from her other leg, opening her up to whatever his devious mind had planned. Letting her head fall back on his chest, she opened herself for more of his lips and tongue. It felt so good. Turning slightly, she whimpered, hoping, praying that Tank would know what she needed.
“Ah, baby, you want my kiss, you want to feel the way I will take you, consume you?”
Reagan couldn’t hold back, she needed what he was offering
“Please, Tank, kiss me,” she begged.
He gently took her lips with a chaste kiss. This was not what she wanted, she wanted more, she needed more. Reagan needed him to feel as hungry and hot as she was feeling. Taking his supple bottom lip between her teeth, she bit, reprimanding him for playing with her.
“Ah, aren’t you a greedy little wench? This happens my way Reagan, not yours. You get what I want to give you and only that. I’m in charge of when and what happens.”
Reagan felt the sting of his slap on her ass and damn if she couldn’t feel her arousal now coating her thighs.
“Please Tank Please I need...” she begged.
“I know what you need, Reagan, and you will get it when I say, not before. Can you be a good girl?”
“Yes, please, I will do whatever you want, whatever you say please just…”
“Just what, babe, touch you, kiss you?”
“Yes, please, both, just do something,” Reagan begged.
Then it happened what she needed and wanted. Tank kissed her hard, lips teeth and tongues tangled and fought. Tank pulled her hair harder, so that he could kiss her deeper, and Reagan submitted. His other hand found her core, weeping for him to caress. Pushing her panties to the side, Tank stroked and massaged her needy flesh. But he was still playing with her, never touching where she needed him most. Taunting her with what she so desperately wanted. Reagan ground her ass back trying in vain to give as good as she was getting, torturing him like he was torturing her.
“Ah, ah, ah, baby girl, you weren’t listening. You only get it when I say, not a moment before you give in to me, give into the pleasure you know I can give you. Only then will you get what you want.”
“I will, I promise. Please Tank.” Without warning, Tank thrust his finger into her…
Chapter 8
Reagan’s own scream woke her up, disoriented and flaming hot, her hand between her legs, and somehow, she had stripped herself naked while she slept. Damn these dreams had to stop, she had one every freaking night, and it was really starting to get on her nerves. How as she supposed to move on with her life and leave Defiance if every single night Tank played center stage in all her dreams.
Getting up off the couch, Reagan started putting things to right. Picking up her phone, she noticed that it was around two in the afternoon. Hell, she had slept a long time. That wasn’t like her, she was usually up with the bird’s, ready to start her day. Scrambling around, she stoked the old wood stove; thankfully she had begun it last night and it still had some embers left. Otherwise, it would be awhile before she got any coffee and that shit wasn’t happening. She needed coffee like she needed air.
Pulling out the old metal percolator, Reagan got to work pumping the water from the inside hand pump which was fed directly into the house from an underground well, then she found the coffee beans, no instant crap for her. Taking the old-fashioned grinder down, she ground enough to make a pot. Then placing the percolator together, she put the coffee into the metal basket. Placing the lid on it, she waited and waited. Damn, this was one thing she hated; at home, she had Keurig instant coffee goodness, all day, every day. At the clubhouse, they had an electric pot, but it was always full and waiting.
Here, she had to wait. Pacing back and forth, she waited for the familiar little sound, the blurp. No blurp. Reagan checked the stove just to make sure it was hot enough, and it was; shit still no freaking blurp. She needed coffee, even considered chewing some of the beans. People made candy out of them, right? Maybe it wouldn’t be that bad. No, she would wait, she knew it would be worth it. More pacing, more cursing, and glaring at the old kitchen appliance. Maybe it was broken, it hadn’t seemed to take this long before. No, she knew that it was put together right. Walking out of the kitchen area, she went to her bag and pulled out her laptop. She had made sure her battery was fully charged, and she had two extras just in case. If that didn’t work, she could start the generator. She didn’t want to, but would; she still had a bunch of work to get through. And then she heard it, the blurp, blurp made her heart sing.
Walking back to the stove, she poured the first cup, moving it to an area that was a little cooler on the old wood stove and started waiting again. Burnt coffee wasn’t something that anyone wanted. These old stoves could be tricky, you had to watch and wait, that was all there was to it. Damn, if anyone saw her now, she would be embarrassed; cup in hand, drool filling her mouth, damn, she was a junkie and coffee was her drug. The aroma filling the cabin only made the anticipation of that first taste stronger. Shit, maybe she could live on her dreams and coffee alone, who needed Brayden Tank Taylor anyway, right?
Bringing the mug up to her lips, she couldn’t resist, just a small taste and proceeded to burn the ever-loving hell out of her tongue. She started jumping around like a mad woman, damn it. That was when she heard it, a car door. Fuck, had the three men found her, or shit, maybe her brother? It sure as hell wasn’t anyone from the club because they wouldn’t have been driving a car. No, they would have been riding their bikes and those puppies were loud. Putting her coffee down, Reagan creeped to the window next to the door. Pushing the curtain back with her finger, she tried to figure out who was out there. With a big smile on her face, Reagan pushed open the door.
“It’s about time you got here hooker, I’ve been waiting all night,” she screamed.
“Hey,” Suzie just laughed, “don’t call me that, Puppet girl, you know I’m as pure as the fresh driven snow.”
“Yeah, whose version of pure? Remember, I’ve seen you after a few drinks.” She and Suzie hugged and laughed; it had been so long, and Reagan really needed her right now.
“Mmmm, is that coffee I smell?”
“Yep, just finished making it. Want some?”
“You know I do. It always tastes so good up here. I can’t make the stuff at home taste the same way, must be the water.”
“Yeah, that or the fact you refuse to by a one cup coffee maker and you use an entire cup of grounds to make ten cups.”
“Whatever.”
“Come on, let’s go out on the dock and drink this. I have been stuck in the car for the last two hours, and I’m itchin to just be in the open air.”
Reagan knew what Suzie was really saying, time to come clean. They had most of their deeper conversations sitting on that dock, the first time a boy dumped them, the first time they had sex, all the stuff involving her family, the loss of Suzie’s family. The dock was the place where they both let it all hang out.
“So, sister chicken, you gonna tell me what’s been going on with you? Don’t think I didn’t see what Tank was doing at the diner. I know you that man melts all your brain cells.”
“Ah, damn Suz,
I don’t know about all that. Tank is and always has been my one weakness, but that’s all done now.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, last night he made sure I knew exactly what he thought of me, and I’m finally getting it. I just wanted to make things right, you know.”
“That was never your place, Rea, but I get where you are coming from. Brayden is going to have to do the rest. I have to say though, the man must really have a way with those hands because you seemed to be in another world.”
“Oh, my god, I wished you hadn’t seen that.” Reagan put her face in her hands embarrassed.
“Yeah, me too, honey. Believe me, some things just can’t be unseen, but I have to ask why did you let him do that to you?”
“Damn, Suz, I just don’t know. When I’m with Tank, and it’s good between us, it’s like nothing else matters. I just want to be with him, you know. He makes me feel alive, makes me feel free, like none of the rest matters. Then it’s almost like a switch goes off in his brain, and he turns kind of mean, not physically, but his words hurt. He has me so messed up, I just don’t know what to do anymore.”
“Hon, Brayden, has been messed up since high school. He was always the life of the party, making jokes and pulling pranks. After the accident, it was almost like he was angry at the world. Did you know he almost didn’t graduate? I even heard that his old man had to pull some strings to get him into the service.”
“Don’t believe everything you hear, Suz. I know he had some issues, but Tank was a straight A student. He could have failed the rest of the year and still graduated. As for his dad pulling strings, I highly doubt that. I don’t think his plans for Tank included a military career. The man wanted him to follow in his footsteps.”
“Yeah, you might be right. I just hear so much at the Diner. I mean, I know the guys at the MC from school and coming in to eat, but some of the stuff I hear scares me. When you told me that you would be staying there, I almost hyperventilated.”
