Dungeon at War: Dark Dungeon 03

Catalina sighed breathily in her sleep, arched her back, and spread her legs.
At first, she thought it was a dream. The tongue was rough, and was placing an almost perfect amount of pleasure between her legs. She reached down and entwined her fingers into Karl’s short hair and gasped in pleasure. Her heart raced, and she could feel the tension building up inside of her middle.
Sex with a man was so… different. Not better, but different. Mina was so soft, and her touch felt amazingly sensual. There was a deep intimacy and vulnerability of emotions when they were together. She loved Mina so much, and there was nothing like it.
But Karl was a large strong man, and there was a physical vulnerability as well, a surrender of ultimate trust in their intimacy, as his strength made her give in to his, and her desire. She trembled as the pleasure coiled further, tightening her middle as waves of intense pleasure washed through her body in pulses which each lick of his tongue along her silken swollen folds. His tongue licked her clit aggressively, and the tight coil of pleasure was released in a wave of ecstasy that stole her breath and her thoughts.
She was lost in the pleasure as her body trembled and locked up, her back arched. As she came down from her height, she gasped and looked up into his eyes. His long hard cock filled her completely, and she felt so vulnerable as his bulk was above her. She sighed, and smiled up at him, vulnerable but also sure about the man he was. She loved the feeling of him above her, trapping her, loving her.
Karl said, “Good morning.”
She arched her back and pushed up against him, even though he was already buried, and she squeezed his length as hard as she could, which made him groan, and start moving in and out of her. She loved the intense feeling of his silken soft, yet hard length running between her legs.
“Morning,” she gasped and then bit her lip, her hands seemed to roam his hard-muscled chest of their own volition.
“Harder Karl, please.”
She knew it was an illusion, he cared very much for her pleasure and had proved it more than once, but she loved when he rutted into her hard and fast. She felt so vulnerable, and so very sexy at the same time, as if he couldn’t help himself. She knew he loved her, and loved to have sex, but nothing proved it more than when he got a little too rough, and lost control of himself.
“Perfect, I love it like this, cum in me Karl, fill me,” she said in breathy pants between the gasps of pleasure. She wrapped her legs around him, and used it for leverage to thrust up as he thrust down. Their bodies loudly slapping together in sensual blissful violence.
She also wished Mina could see it, but kept that little perversion of hers a secret. She knew she wanted to see Mina and Levin as well, how could she not want to share this with her first love? She knew it would never happen though, just a wicked little fantasy. Some lines were meant to be kept, and not blurred.
When he grunted twice and buried himself, she gasped as she felt him expand and fill her, and that set her off into another round of her own explosive bliss. She was gasping as she came down, enjoying the feeling of her soreness, and the sweat their bodies were sharing. His strong masculine scent, along with the scent of their liquid ecstasy, it just made her want more.
But it was time for a bath, and her nobles had asked for an emergency meeting last night, another damned one. So, time to face reality.
She smiled, and pulled him down for a lingering kiss, mostly because she didn’t want to lose that feeling yet, the one caused by him being inside of her.
Karl teased, “So… the courting is going well then?”
“Big oaf, get off me.”
He laughed, and she wanted him back as soon as he got up. She didn’t tell him that of course, no need to let him know just how much she already had to have him. Emotionally, and with her body which was clearly very needy.
Good thing they still needed to take a bath together…
Chapter Twenty
Catalina scanned the room as she walked in, to take in her four barons and two earls on the council. She saw a few confused faces, and a bored one. It was of course, that asshole Baron Nealy who had an oily and knowing look on his face. She should have known, and wondered what the hell he was up to now as she took her seat.
Her mind flashed back for a moment to earlier, to help put a smile on her face that was genuine. Levin and Mina had met her and Karl for breakfast, and she’d kissed Mina thoroughly. It wasn’t until she’d sat down that she’d realized just how comfortable she felt, and was, with the arrangement they’d come up with.
As for Levin and Karl, they didn’t mind a bit either. Men were perverts.
“Well, you called an emergency meeting, what is this about?”
As she’d suspected Nealy cleared his throat, and then laid it out.
“We’re concerned with…”
“You’re concerned Nealy, not we,” Baron Evansly interrupted.
Baron Nealy frowned at the other baron, and then continued, “It’s these reports on the battle that happened almost six weeks ago now, in front of the capital of Jennesar. It’s weightless, and doesn’t at all explain how one man and one woman wiped out over eleven thousand. When I tracked down one of the mages involved with a communication spell, he indicated an oath was involved. What exactly is being hidden from us, as a council we have the need to know.”
She tapped the table, and wished she could just cast a spell.
“No, you don’t. This isn’t about a kingdom secret, this is something our ally asked of us, something he wishes not known widely. I approved it, and gave the oath myself. It neither affects our security, or frankly baron, is any of our business.”
Baron Nealy turned red, “That’s not good enough, that man owns land in Tenemin, and is under our authority if he plans to settle here.”
She frowned, “Our authority?” she asked dangerously.
“Let me be clear baron, this subject is closed. I will not abrogate my oath simply because you’re feeling slighted, or curious. Push me on this, and I will have you replaced.”
He spluttered, “How dare you, my family has been on this council over five hundred years.”
She sighed, “Let’s put it another way then. What would you say to a man, that advises breaking an oath made to another man, who not only saved this kingdom, and is friendly with it, but also just killed eleven thousand soldiers, a thousand of them being mages, warriors, clerics, and paladins, practically single handedly. Are you truly that stupid? Or perhaps, your curiosity simply got the better of you? Either way, what would you expect me to do to such a man? You’re here to advise me, not lead me down the path to destruction.”
Nealy sat back deflated, and a little frightened, “Do you really think he’d do that?”
She shook her head, “Of course not. However, that doesn’t give us license to tempt him to do so, or for me to betray him, does it? We’re done here, this is a training day, and I’m already late.”
When there were no objections, she got up and escaped the room. Time to have some fun.
She also had her own suspicions. Imprisoned and banished from the higher planes? It sounded a lot like a certain very powerful dark magic crystal her family had been watching. She didn’t speculate about it to anyone though, not even Mina, it was her family’s greatest secret. Plus, she didn’t want to lose the connection to Nurien, neither the person, or the dungeon. Where else would she train?
Carlton read through Selwyn’s latest report. It looked like they were wrapping things up in the final village. He’d be happy to get his friend back, mainly so he could pawn off a lot of his work.
Still, Liren was distracting enough, in a good way, that he wasn’t working too hard.
They had a lot of work ahead of them in both Nysten and Jennesar. Goddess willing, they’d be much stronger than ever before in a few generations. It was a bit intimidating, but it was also the opportunity of a lifetime. He felt good about what they were doing, and Selwyn had been able to come to a peaceful arrangement with
the interim governments that were once Jennesar. Just then, Jennesar was pretty much gone, he wasn’t sure if they’d create a new government over all, or split it up into three new kingdoms ruling from separate cities.
Honestly, he didn’t care, as long as his gods and his church was welcome in all three. At least for the short term, it looked like peace would reign. He hoped it lasted, at least for a while.
He was a little worried about the Nurien thing, and would feel a lot more comfortable with it when he moved the main part of himself back to the higher planes. Right now, the god could do anything he wanted on their plane. Still, nervous or not he’d liked the guy, Nurien’s avatar anyway, so he wasn’t that worried about it. Once Nurien did move back, he hoped to stay connected to him, even if it would be more of a friend thing than ally. There could be worse things than being friends with a god.
He shook his head, and got back to the paperwork.
It was several minutes later when the door opened, and Liren walked in with her usual smile and confident sway. Not quite a strut, but he loved the way she walked. Hell, he loved everything about her.
He smiled, “What brings you by?”
She snorted, “Lunch, lose track of time again?”
He turned and looked out the window, sure enough the sun was directly overhead.
“Maybe?”
She laughed, and sat in his lap to claim a kiss, then teasingly wriggled out of his grasp and stood back up.
“Lunch?”
He laughed, “Fine, lunch it is.”
She drove him crazy, but he knew it was just playful and extended foreplay.
He definitely had plans for an extended lunch today. He did every day really…
Chapter Twenty-One
It was time.
It didn’t take long to spin up what looked like a duplicate, even felt like a duplicate dungeon core, but the center of it was a slightly modified version of a simple dark magic elemental stone. The longest part was the time it took to spin out more of my essence and will to create second avatar, this one to be the dungeon itself.
Then I passed off the links, which connected the over twenty large elemental stones to me, to the new dungeon stone. Essentially, I was passing it off to myself, so it wasn’t that complicated. Then I slowly removed my will from the dungeon, and allowed my avatar to take over. It was weird actually, because the avatar was still a part of me.
Best way I could explain it, the avatar was like a partitioned section inside my own mind, I just handed off responsibility for the dungeon, gnomes, spell research rooms, all of it. Then my imprisoned essence, and the lion’s share of my will, was completely bored without a thing to do.
My avatar, the humanoid one, picked me up and carried me over to a magic circle, and placed me inside. Yep, I picked myself up. I knew there was a joke in that somewhere, but even Lila watched on with a serious face. She was obviously worried about me, and what would happen.
It occurred to me that in a few moments I would no longer get to interfere on this plane, and I’ll be honest. I was tempted to stay. The lure of absolute power was strong, and I didn’t think there were many things that could challenge me here on this plane. But I resisted, because going was the right thing to do.
Of course, the second reason was that if I didn’t go, I’d never get revenge on my twisted family for doing what they’d done to me.
No, I’d still be able to be the dungeon, and also be friends if not allies with Carlton, Catalina, Selwyn, Mary, and several others. That was more than good enough.
My avatar said, “Lila, when I activate this, you have to wait a while before going through.”
Lila nodded reluctantly, “I know I can’t help, and I’d wind up just being a hostage. Even a weakened god or goddess could kick an angel’s ass.”
I laughed, both inside my mind and my avatar out loud.
My avatar activated the spell, which opened a gate inside the circle to the higher planes. Specifically, the domain of my family. It was my turn now, I channeled as much dark magic as I could through the fault in my prison crystal. Far more than it could withstand. There was a large crack, and then the crystal shattered into thousands of tiny shards.
My essence was way too vast to survive on the mortal realm outside its prison, which is why I did this after the gate to home was opened. I rushed through, and gathering my power and will I created my true body, my true form. It was instinctive.
My birthright.
I was outside, in a garden that seemed to stretch infinitely into the horizon, and behind me was a large mansion. The area was lit and warm, but not by sunlight, just power. The sky overhead was filled with stars, somehow still bright despite the light of day I stood in. There was a lot in this place that confused me, I had a lot to learn.
I also felt free.
There was only one way to deal with my family, and that was how they’d dealt with me, except they’d failed. I wouldn’t. I opened the back door, and let their auras lead me to them, they were all together in a room that looked just like any other family room. Except, it was lit with a warm light with no discernable source. The realm itself seemed to give off light.
Tythys screamed at me, “If we’re weak, so are you. You can’t possibly overcome us all.”
They all struck at me with what little power they had left, and I used a small amount of creation to block it. It was rather anticlimactic, since my plan had worked almost too well. I frowned at them sternly.
I created the crystal wrapped with the enchantments and ready to go. I’d been in the crystal prison a long time, and knew it very well. It shot out of my hand and hit my crazy sister. She screamed as she fought it, but my power was far stronger, and the crystal devoured her essence, even as it destroyed her body. I pulled it back to me with a thought, and put it in a pocket.
I’d been looking forward to revenge for a long time, but I just felt empty. It was something I had to do, but that didn’t mean I was enjoying it. It was rather grim to be honest.
I’d thought I’d feel a sense of accomplishment, and gratification. But, revenge is empty, unfortunately it was also necessary.
Dasyn, my mother, asked, “How is this possible, how do you have so much power?”
I shrugged, and answered, “The connection between a god and their avatar goes two ways. I may be starved of worship as all of you are, but that’s not the only source of power available to me. The strength of will is here, but the lion’s share of my power lives in my dungeon’s avatar.”
No more questions, I probably shouldn’t have answered her first question. I created and sent out six more crystal prisons which took care of the rest of them. Well, most of them. They fought, but their power was so much less than mine. I’d claimed an equal share of the pantheon from the few worshippers left, and the power from the dungeon tipped the scales, by a lot.
I sat down on the couch for a moment, and stared at the wall.
“What now?” the soft melodic voice asked at my side, “Will you banish them?”
I turned to Hedea, “No, that was their mistake. Don’t make me regret this, sparing you was the only thing in all this I actually feel good about.”
She smiled, “I love you too brother.”
I stood, and she followed as I walked back to the garden. I passed the seven crystals through the portal to my avatar. My family’s mistake had been to banish me, and lose me because of the random nature of the spell. My avatar on the other hand, had the spells ready to destroy the crystals, and could contain their essences in a globe of invulnerability until they fully dissipated. Their true deaths were all but assured.
They weren’t coming back, ever.
“Lila, come on love. I want you to meet someone…”
Epilogue
Catalina was curious, and quite intrigued.
It hadn’t been easy, but she’d managed to get some time alone and slip out of the castle. She’d gotten a letter from Nurien explaining he’d gone home, minus his avatar, and c
ould no longer be considered an ally to help protect Nysten, but only a friend. He had to follow the rules.
The second thing he had said was, that he’d left her a gift, one meant for her only and not her government.
She was at least two miles southeast of the city, beyond the dungeon, and in the woods.
“Hello?”
“Over here,” said a voice she’d never heard before.
Wary, but trusting of Nurien she moved in that direction, and found stone stairs down right next to a tree. She tentatively walked down them. She was surprised to see a woman she’d never seen before, she was stunning, and obviously very pregnant. Like pop at any second pregnant, but the woman was glowing, and had a smile on her face.
“Who are you?”
The woman replied, “Ebony, Nurien’s servant, lover, mate, and mother of his future child. I trust we can depend on your discretion?”
She was dumbstruck, but managed a slow nod.
Ebony giggled, “I know what you’re thinking, but Lila went back to the higher planes with him. He’s mine on this world, if that makes any sense. Don’t think about it too hard.”
She grinned and confided, “I’m not a stranger to… inventive relationships. So where is Nurien?”
Ebony replied, “He can’t come here anymore, just in case. It might be construed as helping.”
Catalina followed Ebony down a hallway, and into a large room. As soon as she passed the threshold to the door, there were thousands of magical auras rubbing against her senses. She looked around, and saw the room was filled with golems, and other magical items.
Ebony handed her a necklace.
“What is this?”
Ebony smiled, “Nurien felt guilty, he promised to help protect Nysten if you helped him with his goals, but now that he’s gone, he can’t do it directly. So, before he left, he set up this room. Please put on the necklace.”
She did so tentatively, and felt something magical, but wasn’t sure what.
