Chapter 1-that night
I'm sitting here starting at a blank document wondering what to type next, how do I want my story to go? I mean all the novels out lately have happy endings? Not everyone gets a happy ending ....we all lose the people we love eventually sooner or later. Or they just up and leave leavening you heartbroken and miserable, the way I see it is the harder you love the harder you will hurt. I shut down my laptop and tell my mom that I'm heading to my best friend Nina’s for the night .as pull into Nina’s driveway and get out she's at the door already big surprise! This right here is me being sarcastic" "Hey sweet cheeks what's the plan for tonight I say in a flirty tone. “OH hi my lovely Lily I've got plenty planned for you" she says as she waggles her eyebrows up and down. We both burst out laughing yes this is how we carry on I mean we are like sister’s. I take two steps at a time until I reach her room, we sit and chat for the first half hour catching up. "Hey Nina u want me to do your fortune cards?" I get so excited doing these I just love them although I haven't done them in a while so I'm looking forward to doing them tonight "oooo yes yes yes do it!!She says jumping around like a 3 year old her shoulder length brown hair swaying with her. "ok ok sit down u crazy person" I begin by lightning a white candle and start shuffling when I'm done I had them to Nina and ask her to shuffle them too "ok I’ll put them out in front of you and you choose 9 cards got it?" yes lily go go go I've no patients" after she picks her nine cards I put them in three rows of three and begin to turn them over " so miss witchy what do they say?" I give her a don't fuck with me look and say "well for starters. You have mostly good cards but there is a few bad ones too" I read out all the definitions of each cards and explain them to her. “So I'm going to have a long life, have good luck with jobs and school? I've also a sly Fox on my hands? This is great “I throw her a smile and say “well the sly Fox could be anyone Nina ...and school and work that's great news aren't you waiting to see if you got into college? “Well I suppose..." yes exactly you are and it's telling you the outcome will be good and good health what more could u want? u also have the love card and the ring which means you have strong bonds with a loved one or you are going too that's great !!" ok ok I'm happy now let's do yours lil" I explain to her what to do and we carry on with mine.. I stare at my cards when I have them picked as they are weird I mean I'm the one reading them as Nina can't so I explain to her what they mean even though I don't get them I mean how. I already…never mind..?" ok so mine are the heart and the mountain which means love aboard? witch I don't get because I don't know anyone aboard, the next cards are saying I'm going to travel and it will turn out well I mean Nina I don't plan on traveling and also it says that I will have success with a job and money?" hmm... that's weird alright maybe you might travel and meet a super sexy American hunk huh " she nudges me smiling. I can't help but smile too “I guess we will find out “we finish up and put the cards away as my mind is blowing up enough for one night. We settle down by watching my favorite movie "the notebook”.

Chapter 2-just go
I still don't know what I want in life I mean I've no goals yet I'm undecided which is kind of crazy seeing as I'm 20 years old. I've to start picking out my major and colleges soon so that doesn't leave me much time to think. At least Nina knows what she's going to do go to college here and study law. I mean that's not for me I want to find myself before I plan ahead I'm kind of a in the moment type of girl .maybe I should travel ? No no no I sigh to myself. My inner demon is screaming saying there's nothing here just go already pack and leave maybe you will find yourself if you go. I flip open my laptop and search for should I travel?” I search threw some posts by people who have traveled alone. It doesn't sound too hard ...like I could set up college there? or maybe just get enough money to last me a month and see if I have a future there .I search for some places that stand out to me like California, New York, and Florida I do some more research on each place and I decide on California it’s small and has colleges and I went on some chat sites and the people seem nice there. I decide right there and then that I'm going to go maybe these fortune cards are true after all .I explain to my parents what I want to do , they are both uneasy about it but then again I'm an adult they can’t stop me right? in the end we all agree it’s for the best and it will be good for me and we book my flights later that night .its official I'm going to California CALIFORINA I can’t believe it I leave in 5 days for once in my life I'm going out on my own to start my life Alone. I call Nina to tell her the news and of course she's upset but she's so happy for me too , I’ll be upset leaving my friends and family but hey its only one month and they are only a Skype call away after all.

Chapter 3-departures
Leavening my family and Nina was hard but I got through it and I’ll see them all soon, I stare out the window watching the rain pour down typical Irish weather I thought. I watch as the planes come and go bringing people to the destinations and bringing them back home to the loved ones. I take a sip of my vanilla latte these bad boys are my weakness. My plane boards in 10 minutes and my nerves are starting to kick in I mean I've flew a load of times before but never to the united states and a 13 hours flight lucky I have my headphones and kindle, I hear a crackle in the speakers around me and a woman begins to say in a sophisticated voice "good morning ladies and gentlemen we will now be boarding flight 101 to California international airport if you could all go to gate 2 please safe journeys and thank you for flying from Dublin airport Ireland “I gather my hand luggage and make my way to gate 2 I had the tenant my passport and ticket and take one last look at Ireland through the tunnel to the plane entrance "goodbye home" I mumble to myself, when I'm settled in my seat and the plane begins to take off I take out my kindle and read about my latest book boyfriend. That was one long ass flight I think to myself as I wait for my bags to come through when I get them I make my way out of the airport thinking that the hell do I do now? I look around and spot some cabs and make my way over to the and ask the driver if he can bring me to my hotel he smiles and hops out saying "of course my lovely let me get your bags I thank him in reply as he speaks again" ah your Irish nice to see some other Irish people around here" I look at him confused " you’re from Ireland yourself?" Of course I am dear although there aren’t a lot of Irish here that’s why u stand out “I smile at him "how long have you lived here?" just about 7 years and it’s the best thing I ever done and even met the love of my life in that time" I smile trying to imaging that happen to me " that’s great I’m here for a month to check out colleges and jobs and to see if I like it if I do I’ll come back for a couple of years." darling you won’t want
to go home from here it’s safe has colleges and jobs you ill love it " oh hope so I reply. When I arrive at my hotel I’m in shock I mean its huge noting like back home I think I’m in love already I thank the driver as he gets out my luggage and I pay him he gives me his number telling me to use it if I ever need help or to get around, I’m really grateful for him at least I know someone now!. After I check in I'm showed to my room and its perfect just like I wanted I unpack my luggage finally I climb into bed I finally made it am I crazy? I smile to my self-thinking yes Lily yes you are and fall I fall into a deep sleep.

Chapter 4.-jet lagged
Today is the day I try to sort out my future and see if California holds it. I jump out of bed after one of the best sleeps I've ever had I really must have been jet lagged, I take a quick shower and head to my cloths I decide to dress comfortable as I'm going to be doing a lot of touring around today I choose a simple pair of short shorts and a crop top and my white ankle converse, for makeup witch I don't ware I just use a bit of mascara and some natural lip liner my signature look. My long dirty blonde hair is to my waist and it falls perfectly into waves to complete my yet simple but stylish look I add my favorite handbag and purse. After I lock up I leave my key into the front desk just in case I lost it, I walk out into blasting heat damn lucky I wore shorts I thought to myself. I take a stroll down the street next my my hotel just to get used to the street I'm practically living in my hotel Which is based on California beach, so I'm in the middle of everything which is so handy for me as it will save time and money. I decide to walk right which leads to all the local shops etc., I walk past some shops amazed the American culture is so much different to the Irish. I find a quite enough coffee shop and decide to grab a vanilla latte my weakness and I take a seat outside in the sun. While I flip through the local map even the time zones are so different I mean its 11am here at back home it is 4pm it's crazy if you actually think about it 5 hours in the difference. As I read threw the map I find the nearest university that appeals to me .I decide on California university how cliché huh. It only takes around 15 minutes to walk to so it's not the far from my hotel I thought to myself. I pack up my things to start on my little adventure to see if I even make it too the university! But I’m put on hold as I fall flat on my ass "did you just do that?" I practically yell looking into these big ass sunglasses. he bends down to help my up as he speaks in the most husky smooth delicious voice I've ever heard "I'm so sorry I'm trying to get away from everyone " confused by his answer I ask "um okay, but who are u trying to get away from? He blows out a heavy breathe like he's stressed "just people I got to sketch see ya around blue" he says it looking at me like I'm a firkin alien. "Blue???I tell after him “he smiles as he Jumps into a range rover "yeah blue see y'all around “he shouts the door and the jeep turns away. I huff to myself thinking asshole .and I start on my adventure for the second time!

Chapter 5-and you are?
After I viewed California university I felt like everything was going downhill, the subject I want to study is creative writing witch doesn't start until September and it's only may now 3 months without something to do ? Do I go home? Do I stay? I've so many decisions to make I enrolled for creative writing anyhow just in case I decide to stay...it's been a week since I came here and I loved every second of it. today though is another story I'm down I'm upset I'm missing home ,I feel alone . I decide to go to the beach and write I will be famous for what I do someday I smile to myself. when I get to the beach which is basically my front garden I put down a blanket take off my shoes leaving my feet touch the sand I'm sporting my new bikini that I bought from Victoria secret yesterday it might have cost a good buck but it was so worth it I even have boobs in it yay ! . I pop open my laptop put on my sunglasses and begin to write getting lost in my own world. The next thing I know I hear a bunch of girls screaming CODY CODY!! OVER HERE CODY! uh teenagers these days I think and I go back to writing ... ok they are getting closer what the fuck I close down my laptop and sit up to see what these damn girls are screaming at. "Cody Cody Cody” I say to myself in a mocking tone who the bloody he'll is this Cody guy? Ah I see him they are closer now and my world stops just like that. Cody is ... no it can't be coffee guy what am I thinking he pushed me over .I stand up and begin to pack my belongings when I feel someone behind me or should I say him behind me . "Blue?" I turn around facing coffee guy or should I say CODY FRICKKIN TELLER” um hi “I cover my self-feeling quite self-conscious in front of him. He turns to the two big body guards next to him "hey guys can you give me a sec “they grunt and move like 10 steps away oh you guys are so generous, “so blue where are you from?" I still here the screaming fans in my ear and there like 40 steps away never mind 10. "I'm from Ireland and you?" he gives me the best panty dropping smile I've ever seen considering iv only read about those in real life I never thought I'd actually see one. "Ah Ireland I've been there a few times I knew you were Irish by your accident but I just asked cause I wanted to hear you say Ireland, how long are you here for ? " I ignore is comment about my accident and reply "oh I'm here for 3 more weeks or maybe 3 days or 3 hours I'm not sure yet " " huh why so confused?" "Well college don't start until September I’ve no job and I certainly don't have enough money to last until September" I suck in a breath like he wants to say something but he holds himself back from saying it... "where are you staying?" oh well he's nosey I reply anyway "just there in the California inn" I'm beginning to get all panicky now I mean it's not every day a famous person comes up and talks to you live interrupts my thoughts " I've stayed there once it's cool hey I've never got your name blue or should I just call you blue?" I smile to myself what a charmer "it's Lily , Lily James " "Lily,Lily,Lily I like it !I better go lil Blue I hope to see you again if not good luck and I hope you find what you came here for " goodbye Cody". He looks at me funny with a knowingly smile and walks away. I have a feeling that won’t be the last ill see of Cody teller.

Chapter 6 -Lily's
It's been three days since I last saw Cody well I've read articles online and on TV about him no I'm Not a stalker I'm just curious (yeah right) I've decided last night that I'm going to go home I'm running out of money and college don't start until September maybe I can come back then.. My door bell goes seriously its firkin 8am! I roll out of bed a through on my robe ,I answer to these big spray painted blue lily’s with a little note with them I look outside to see if I can see who left them only it could be one person about of the two people I know here. I bring them inside and set them on the counter. "There just so pretty" I say to myself. I take out the little note and read it "BLUE, BE OUTSIDE AT 7.30 -CODY x".Okay did he just order me to be outside at 7.30 or did he ask me? Nope he definitely ordered me. "Ahhhhhhhh" I scream in a good way and start dancing around my kitchen like a loser .how can u not dance though I mean Cody teller basically asked me out!! I need a dress shit I need to look good omg omg omg. I head to the mall around 30 minutes later to pick the perfect dress. After 2 hours of hard shopping I head home with my new dress and shoes ,hmm 5pm I suppose Is should start getting ready, I take a quick shower to freshen up and decide to curl my long hair that I refuse to cut. I apply a small bit of foundation and some blush and mascara and to top it off my signature red lips. I slip into my new dress it's obviously red because it's my favorite color but it seems whenever I go to buy a dress it's always red I guess I'm addicted. it’s a midi dress so it's just to my knees and is body con witch shows my figure off quite well if I must say so myself. And last but not least I slip on my knew sexy yet smart black stilettos. I look at the time and it reads 7.20 hmm maybe I should head down, I grab my black clutch and pop my phone and purse into it and head down to see Cody. I walk out into the evening feeling a tad bit nervous as I look around the parking lot to see if I spot Cody witch I do he's standing next to his car without body guards well there's something new. He is wearing that cheeky smile of his holding the door open for me I walk closer to him and m
y god he really is perfect his eyes are the color of nature all dark and mysterious they have flecks of gold in them like he has inner fire. The perfect jaw line which would make girls weak his hair is longer on the top and shorter on the bottom he really is perfect to me. "Hey” I whisper softly. "Hey blue you are looking fine this evening " he takes my hand in his I feel electricity shoot threw my body this is it I thought Cody he is it for me even though I barely no him. He lightly kisses my hand and then let's it go I’m blushing I can feel it all over my body. “Hop in blue you are in for a romantic night" he smiles. "Is that so?" “As matter of fact it is my beauty." I smile and wave him off who knew Cody teller had this side to him huh? after around 10 minutes we pull up into this huge mansion the biggest house I’ve seen in my entire life ,I mean I'm only from Ireland how the shell am I in a car with Cody teller and going to his firkin mansion. "Uh Cody is this your home?" “Yes it is all mine ““oh it's amazing" "thank you Lily". Lily oh how he says my name in that American accent make me want to ask him to say it again. He jumps of of his car and goes around to my side and opens mine do people still do that? he takes my hand as I climb out but he doesn't let it go he holds it like I'm about to run away from him , I leave him hold it the cause it makes me feel safe for the first time since I got here. we walk out to his back patio it's all lit up with a table with dinner ready on it has a Jacuzzi and a hammock , a swing chair, the pool is all lit up too it's out of this word like the kind of place where little fairies should live." you like it ?" "He startled me pushing my thoughts out of the way "I love it, I mean it's out of the world I've never seeing anything like it before." “I’m glad you like it it's one of my favorite places" "I can see why". "Are you hungry?" "I'm starved!" "good cause I got a selection of stuff I wasn't sure what you liked " I look at him like he has 10 heads "uh I eat everything and anything don't worry " "ah that's nice to hear from a girl " what do you mean" I asked confused. "Well, most girls are all oh I only eat rabbit food it's nice to see a girl that loves to eat, you’re like a breath of fresh air to me”. I look at him atlas just smile because it's all the little things he says and dose makes me like him that bit more. He really did order a lot of food I settled on the steak witch he was amazed by I just laughed at his weirdness, I mean who the hell doesn’t like steak? When I'm done eating I decide to ask questions " so Cody why me?" he answers straight away "because blue your different you didn't even know who I was do you know how good it felt?" "Well yeah...you do know I'm leaving right?" he has a pained look on his face "when?" I look at home with sad eyes and say "tomorrow" .something passes between us I'm not sure what to call it, "Ne me quitee pas" he says softly. "What does that mean" I ask. “you’ll figure it out" he gives me a sad smile. He decides to change the subject "so tell me all the little things" "little things?" "Yeah like your favorite color, favorite animal, I want to know it all ". I smile no one ever asked me that before. "My favorite color is red as you can see, my favorite animal is dogs but I also love monkey’s emm let's see.... I always wanted to visit America witch I'm doing right now, I want to be an author". "An author that's a good choice what would you write about?" I simply reply "my life". what about you tell me everything "well ... my favorite color is white, I also love dogs too, and I'm already a singer so ya"" hmm interesting". We talk about our wants and needs for another hour it's already 11.30pm “hey Cody I should get going I'm going to call a taxi “a taxi?" yeah or should I say a cab?" "Oh a cab no way you’re getting one of those I'll drop you back ". “Um okay thanks" the drive back was quite an awkward I'm not sure why maybe because I'm leaving... We pull up outside my hotel and I jump out he comes around to me and takes a deep breath "so this is it?" I look at him take another step closer and say "so this is it”. He grabs me and gives me the best kiss of my life so unexpected but with every emoticon and the things we can't say go into that kiss. Our first and last. he turns to leave and says those 4 words "ne me quitee pas".my eyes fill up with tears "thank you Cody for everything you made me feel like I'm home when I'm with you. I’ll never forget that " his eyes are glistening as he speaks "no thank you blue for making me feel normal, and maybe just maybe you are home" he turns and gets in his car and just like that he's gone like I never met him.
