JIGSAW

“Okay, but do you think he's going to be happy with you waking him up at four am.”

“Fuck.” Jigsaw looked at the clock next to the bed. It was four am. “I was only asleep for an hour?”

She smiled sadly and nodded. “I hadn't even fallen back to sleep yet. You were tossing and turning and talking in your sleep. I'm sorry, I only woke you up because it sounded like you were in pain...”

He smiled at her. “Don't be sorry.” He sat back down on the bed. “I was dreaming...remembering...I know who I am, baby. I remember it all.”

So many emotions crossed her face at that moment, but the one that won out was always the one that Kimber gave into...her empathy for him. She finally smiled and took his face in her hands. “That's wonderful. I'm so glad for you.”

He put one of his hands up and covered hers with it, sliding her hand over his mouth so that he could plant a kiss there. “It's not so wonderful,” he said, taking her hands down to his lap and wrapping them up in his. “I'm glad I remember most of it. But, there's something left that I have to find out. They killed my brother...what was he doing in Jersey? He was supposed to be in California and as far as I knew, he didn't have any plans to visit. I'd always wanted to take Natalie...” He trailed off, but Kimber said,

“It's okay, baby. I know you were with Natalie. You can talk about her. It's all part of you, and I love all of you.”

“God, I love you too,” he said, pulling her into his body before he said, “I always wanted to take her to meet him. But she was the only one that knew about him. He left for California before I hooked up with the club. I missed him like a part of me was missing...but I have never been one to share my personal stuff. I'm sure they didn't know he wasn't me...but why the fuck didn't he tell them? He wasn't shot...they somehow made it look like an accident. Why didn't he tell them?” His voice cracked and Kimber clutched onto him tighter. She didn't say anything though. She always knew when he just needed her to listen, and she was so good at it.

They sat there on the bed for a long time and while Kimber rocked him gently with her body, he felt the anger begin to ebb away. The sadness was still there. His heart still felt like it was breaking for his brother who by now had been dead for almost a year. That thought made his heart hurt too. Nick's funeral had been a lie...a joke, and he hadn't even been there to give him a final send off and tell him how much he'd loved him...or how sorry he was. He looked at the clock again and back down at the perfect woman in his arms and said, “Let me take off these clothes. I'm not sure if I'll be able to sleep anymore, but I want to hold you until the sun comes up.” She smiled at him when she lifted her head and moved over so that he could get up...but he could still see the worry in her eyes. She worried he was going to leave her now to go back to her sister...and she couldn't be more wrong. He stripped off his clothes while she watched and then he climbed back into the bed, under the covers and next to her warm body. She was wearing a thin t-shirt and panties and he whispered, “Take these off, please. I don't want anything between us.”

She did what he asked and then snuggled up against him. He had his arm underneath her head and his other hand resting on her bare hip. She slipped her top leg in between his and they tangled up their limbs until it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began. Jigsaw had honestly just planned on holding her, but being this close to her, naked and so overwhelmed with emotions, proved to be too much for him to resist. His cock was rising faster than the sun would at daybreak and he felt her wiggle up against it slightly. She lifted her mouth up to his ear and whispered, “Make love to me Jig. Show me how much you love me.”

He smiled and said, “I'm not going to say no to making love to you baby...ever. But that's not how I'm going to show you how much I love you. I'm going to wrap up this mess in Jersey, and then I'm going to come back here and you and I are finally going to begin a real life together. If you want it to be here on the ranch, I'd like that. I love this club and these people. But, if you want it to be somewhere else...anywhere, I'm okay with that too. Because I'm going to show you how much I love you by making you the happiest woman on the planet for the rest of your life. I want to give you the world baby, and I want you to believe you deserve it.”

He felt the wet tears on her cheeks when she lifted the top half of her body and pressed her lips into his. He hated it when she cried, for any reason. He kissed her, hard, and then used his lips to dry the tears on her cheeks before pushing her over on her back. In a flash he was on top of her, spreading her beautiful legs apart. Once he had her the way he wanted her, he dipped his head down and licked her from top to bottom. Her body shook and she let out a soft moan. That's how he wanted his baby...content and satisfied. He dove in harder, pressing his tongue into her clit and causing the shudder to turn into convulsions. Her legs were trembling wildly as he licked, sucked and nibbled on her lips and clit and slid his tongue up inside of her, feeling the spasm of her velvet lips around it as he did. She reached down and tangled her hands in his long, shaggy hair and she pulled at the roots as he nuzzled his rough face against her smooth flesh. He could feel it as she grew more excited and raced toward her peak and he didn't let up until her body went rigid and her legs locked around his ears and he felt and tasted the rush of her orgasm. Fuck, she was sweet.

He licked her softly until he felt her relax and then while her legs were still shaking he brought his head up and looked down at her face. He loved the way she looked when she was satisfied. The afterglow of her orgasm was all over her face as she reached down between them for his cock. He let her grab hold of it and he closed his eyes as she began to stroke him. She started out slow, but quickly she picked up the pace to match the thrusting of his hips. He could already feel the pressure building up as she took her thumb and ran it across the head of his throbbing cock, picking up the moisture there and spreading it down the shaft, lubricating her strokes and driving him even madder with pleasure. He felt her body moving, wiggling down underneath him. When her face was level with his cock, she looked up at him and smiled before taking a big lick of his cock. “God baby, you look so hot.” She smiled and did it again, and again, licking harder and faster until he felt like he was going to explode...and then she opened those sexy lips and engulfed him, taking him all the way to the back of her throat in one hard suck. Her tongue was moving the entire time and he knew he wasn't going to last long. He tried to think of something else, anything else, to make it last...but fuck it felt good. Finally, he had to push up on his knees and pull away. He reached down and grabbed her under her arms and pulled her back up and then he rolled over on his back, taking her with him. She didn't have to ask what he wanted. She straddled his hips and let that sweet, soaking-wet pussy slide down onto his hard rod. She didn't stop until there was no space left between their bodies and he was in balls deep. She held him there for a second, both of them savoring the feeling of being connected as one...and then she started to move. She pressed her hands into his chest and used them as leverage to raise that sexy ass up and down. His cock slid in and out of her and her butt slapped into his pelvis with each one of their mutual thrusts. The sound of skin slapping against skin was almost as sexy as the sight of her riding his cock. He reached up and played with her breasts as they bounced wildly, and she put her hands in her own hair and tugged at it as she got more excited. He was pinching her nipples and while he did that with one hand, he slipped the other one down and found her clit. He pressed and rubbed against it with his thumb and her bounces and thrusts became even wilder. He kept that up as long as he could until he thought she might bounce right off him and then he moved both of his hands to her hips and steadied her as she came for the second time, gasping and panting and choking out his name.

Jigsaw waited for her to finish and then it was his turn, He flipped her over again and sank back into her. She brought her legs up and put them on his shoulders and he held onto them while he pounded his cock into her relentlessly. She had her hands up, pressing into the
headboard to keep from being thrown up against the wall. He lost himself in the feelings, in that moment and for those few minutes it was just him and Kimber, alone in the universe...and anyone or anything that didn't like it could go get fucked. He let out a loud grunt when he felt the orgasm rip through his core and Kimber gasped when she felt him fill her up with his warm come. Pleasure touched every fiber of his being when he came inside of her and he waited until the ripples and tingles of it had subsided before he stopped rocking into her and dropped down onto the bed next to her, exhausted but satisfied. He hadn't thought it possible that he'd be able to sleep again, but once she'd curled back into him and he closed his eyes, he was under again...and this time there were no dreams or memories, only peace.

By the time Jigsaw and Kimber woke up again, it was after nine. He showered quickly and went to talk to Dax, promising they would talk about everything when he got back. Once he was gone, Kimber showered too and then she did something that she knew she had to do. She called Natalie.

“Hey girl,” her sister said, sounding much less anxious than the last time they talked. “Did you decide when you're coming up? I was really looking forward to seeing you.”

“I need you to meet me in New Haven at one.” New Haven, Connecticut was the halfway point between New Jersey and Boston. Kimber knew that because she'd thought about asking her sister to meet her halfway before and researched it. That hadn't worked out for one reason or the other in the past, but today she wasn't taking no for an answer.

“That's three hours from now,” Natalie said.

“I know. It'll take us both about two and a half hours to get there.”

“I can't just pick up and go, Kimber...”

“Why not? Are you a prisoner? Do you not have a car?”

“Don't be crazy, of course I'm not a prisoner. And yes, I have a car but...” She hesitated, and Kimber said,

  “But what?”

“I just don't understand. I thought you were going to come for a visit. Why are you being weird all of a sudden. It's like a spy movie or some shit.”

“Please do this for me, Natalie. It's been a long time since I asked you for anything,” If ever at all, she thought. Natalie had always been the one asking, and Kimber the one doing. She heard her sister sigh and she added, “It's about Beau.”

The anxiety in her sister's voice was back when she said, “What about him? He's dead.”

  “Is he?”

“Kimber what the fuck is this?”

“Come to New Haven and find out.”

“I think you've lost your mind...but okay.” Natalie was afraid of something and that's why she was agreeing to meet Kimber, and for no other reason than what it might mean to her.

“Good. I'll be there by one.” Kimber ended the call and then she took out her stationary and left Jigsaw a note. It simply said, I had to run some errands. I will see you soon. I love you. She didn't see anyone on her way out of the club and when she got to the front gate, she just waved at old Tank and drove on through. There must not be much action at the hole yet because Tank only covered the perimeter gates when things were quiet. He was mostly a cook in his old age and that was how he liked it.

Kimber drove to Connecticut, milling over what she knew so far. Jigsaw's real name was Beau, he had a twin brother named Nick and he had been a part of the Knightriders MC. Of course there was the part where he was with her sister too and for her that was the hardest part to get past. But, she realized as she was showering earlier, that she was past it. At least she believed him when he told her that he loved her and he'd never leave her. She wasn't jealous over Natalie any longer...but, she had some questions that she wanted her sister to answer before Jigsaw started asking them.

It took her just over two hours to reach her destination, a quiet little diner on the outskirts of the small, pretty, tourist town. Natalie wasn't there yet, so she sat in a booth near the window and ordered a cup of coffee. Kimber looked out the window while she waited, watching the townspeople and tourists go about their business. She always watched people with kids...mother's especially. She wondered sometimes how different her life would be now if she'd had a mother like the one she could see bending down on the sidewalk and tying her daughter's shoe. Or the one holding a kid in one arm, pushing a stroller with the other and smiling like everything was wonderful in her world. She wondered if she and Natalie would be different people now. Just as she had that thought a little red Toyota pulled up right in front of the diner. Kimber watched her sister step out of the car, and at least a dozen people on the street take notice. Natalie was just as beautiful as ever, if not more so. Her hair was longer than Kimber had ever seen it. It touched the middle of her back and the sun caught the beautiful gold highlights. She was wearing jeans and black boots that came up over her knees. They had a tall heel and made her legs look about five feet long. She was slender, but not skinny, curvy in all the right places...and when she turned so Kimber could see her face, she could see that her skin was just as smooth and beautiful as ever too. The knot she'd carried around in her stomach since the second she found out Jigsaw had been with Natalie seemed to grow as she watched her sister walk up to the door of the diner. Natalie had always carried herself with an air of confidence which made her even more attractive...and that hadn't changed either.

Once she was in the door she pulled off her sunglasses and Kimber watched her blue eyes land on her face. Natalie smiled, her perfectly straight, white teeth showing under the dark-red lipstick she wore on her lips. Kimber forced a smile, reminded herself that no matter what she found out today, this was still her sister...the only ally she had as a child...the only living relative she claimed.

“Oh my God! Kimmy, you look so good!” Natalie grabbed her up in a hug and Kimber hugged her back. For a second she almost forgot why she was there and it just felt good to see her big sister again.

Kimber pulled out of the hug and said, “As usual, you look fantastic. Thank you for coming.”

Natalie made a face and as she sat down she said, “It's not like you gave me much choice. What's this about Beau?” Kimber waited for the waitress who had come to get Natalie’s order. Her sister ordered an iced tea and when the waitress went to get it Kimber said,

“I need to ask you some questions about him. They're things I need to know.”

“I don't get it. You didn't even know him.”

  “Just humor me,” Kimber said.

Natalie cocked an eyebrow but said, “Okay...” Before Kimber started talking again she looked around and said, “Don't they have a bar in this town?”

It was Kimber's turn to cock an eyebrow. “It's one in the afternoon.”

Natalie rolled her eyes and said, “Still an alcohol Nazi I see.”

When they were younger, Kimber always worried about Natalie's constant partying. She worried that her sister was going to turn out like her mother. She hated the idea of it, but they weren't kids anymore and it was Natalie's life to live. After today, she'd probably never see her sister again anyways. “We can go down the street to the bar if you want,” she told her sister. The waitress sat the iced tea down in front of Natalie at the same time. She picked it up and said,

“No, this is fine, for now. So, tell me what the hell this is about.”

“Mammoth...Beau...the guy that picked you up from our house that night and took you away. You were engaged, right?”

“Yeah...But again, why are you asking about him? You used to be so angry about him taking me away that when I tried to talk to you about him you wouldn't even listen, and now all of a sudden...”

“I was a kid. I was alone and scared. I'm sorry. Maybe I should have paid more attention to what was going on back then with you. But, I need you to tell me about him now.”

“There's not much to tell now. He's been dead for a year.” Kimber looked at her sister's eyes when she said that. She didn't see anything there...other than confusion about why Kimber was asking. But there was no sa
dness, or grief...it made Kimber's heart hurt. She knew if she ever lost Jig, she'd feel pain and grief forever.

  “What was he like?”

  “Kimber...”

  “Natalie, humor me here, please.”

She sighed. “He was good-looking, he was a big guy and he had...”

“No, not what did he look like...what was he like, his personality.”

Natalie wrinkled her nose. “He was...different. He wasn't like most bikers. I always thought I fit in at the club more than he did. I mean, he did his job there, but he never really acted happy about it. He always wanted more, you know? It was kind of frustrating for me, a lot of pressure...” Natalie hadn't changed, Kimber thought. Everything always came back to how things were for her.

“What kinds of things did he want?”

“You know...he wanted kids and he wanted us to be this little family...”

  “You didn't want that?”

She rolled her eyes. “You saw what being a ‘family’ did for us growing up.”

“Families don't have to be like that.”

“No, they don't. But, what other examples did we ever have? I like to party. I like to have fun. So, isn't it better that I haven't brought kids into it? It wasn't fair for her to bring us into that mess.”

“Did you ever tell him that you didn't want kids?”

“I didn't have to, he knew. He just had this idea in his head that I was going to grow out of it, or grow up someday, I think. Sometimes I felt like his expectations were suffocating me and when he died...it was sad and horrible, but for the first time since I left home I felt free.” Kimber gasped before she caught herself. “Don't judge me,” Natalie said. “You don't know what it was like. He got this stupid tattoo of this Greek God and a woman he was obsessed with and told me it reminded him of us...that he would always love me more than I loved him.”
