I was totally naked before him. Vulnerable. But he wanted more than what was showing on the outside. He wanted my emotions, too. He wanted it all.

“Tell me.” His eyes burned with need, and I couldn’t do anything other than answer it.

  “I love you, too.”

  “Thank fuck,” he breathed out.

His kisses moved lower, his teeth scraping against my pebbled nipples before he headed further down—past my belly. He unlocked my legs and dropped them down so he could keep going until I felt his warm breath over my pussy.

“Only ever mine,” he growled, lowering his head to swipe his tongue up my center in a long, slow lick.

“Griffin,” I whimpered, jerking my hips up towards his mouth as my head fell back against the hood of the car. The contrast of the cool surface against my back and the heat of him between my legs was driving me crazy—only heightened by the attention he was paying to my pussy. Slow licks, followed by flicks of his tongue against my clit. One finger driven inside me, and then another. “I can’t take more.”

“You’re going to take everything tonight, my bright-eyed girl,” he murmured against the sensitive skin of my inner thigh.

He rose back to his full height, one hand at my hip and the other going to his boxer briefs. He tugged them down, and his dick sprung free. Long, and so hard it was almost purple at the tip. I tore my gaze away from it to look at his face and holy heck—

“Are you going to take my virginity on the hood of your car?”

“It’s up to you,” he rumbled, bending over and lining up so he was nestled against my entrance. “I meant to do this with roses and candles and shit. Still could if you want to wait. But I kissed your lips for the first time in the front seat of this car. Tasted your pussy on my boat. You sucked my cock in your trailer. I’m thinking we’re pretty damn good when it comes to modes of transportation, and I’m dying to get inside you.”

“We can’t have you dying when you’ve just told me you love me, now can we?”

“Not when you love me back,” he breathed into my ear. “I’m so fucking sorry, bright eyes, but this is gonna hurt.”

He didn’t give me time to freeze up. Instead, he gripped my hips and pulled me into his body as his hips surged forward.

“Shit. Fuck. Damn,” I hissed. He wasn’t kidding when he said it was going to hurt. It felt like he’d torn me in two.

“Two firsts in one night. I don’t think I’ve ever heard you swear before.”

“I guess you’re rubbing off on me more than you knew,” I grumbled. “But dammit, this hurts. I can say whatever I want to say.”

“I hate causing you pain, but I promise to more than make up for it once you’ve gotten used to having me inside you.”

I shifted my hips a little, trying to find a more comfortable position, and sparks of pleasure radiated in my core. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it, but I think you can move now.”

He circled his hips, and I moaned at the sensation. Then he slowly pulled out of me and I whimpered at the loss. “Fuck yeah, my girl’s pussy likes my cock.”

His dirty talking made me wetter, loosening me up a little more and making it easier for him to begin pumping his hips. Slow, deep thrusts that eventually turned harder and faster until fireworks were going off inside my body and I was seeing spots behind my eyelids. He drove into me twice more before he planted himself deep and came with me.

“Fuck,” he groaned, dropping his head against my chest. “I can’t believe we didn’t make it into the house.”

“Nope, not even close,” I giggled. “Then again, you didn’t seem to mind.”

“I probably should have been gentler with you this first time. But I think a nice, hot bath should take away any lingering aches and pains,” he said, slipping out of me and lifting me up and into his arms to carry me inside.

A bath sounded heavenly. What was even better were the two extra orgasms he gave me while I was in it.

  Chapter 8

  Griffin

“Can you believe this crap?” Avery grumbled, tossing the gossip magazine she’d been reading onto the kitchen counter between us. “Look at what they’re saying about us now!”

“If you’re going to continue with your acting career, then you’ll need to learn how to ignore shit like that.” I took a sip of my coffee, disregarding the magazine. “It’s a lesson I learned way too young because of who my mom is.”

It wasn’t worth the possible destruction they could wrought if you let the gossip-mongers into your life. It was one of the reasons I hoped she’d decide to head to college instead of accepting any of the myriad of offers that had started to come her way. Filming had only wrapped a day ago and her new agent was already pushing for her to pick another project.

I could have nudged her in the other direction, but I wanted her to pick whatever would make her happiest. If she wanted to follow in my mom’s footsteps and become a superstar, then so be it. I wasn’t about to let her go, no matter what she decided. Avery was mine. End of the motherfucking story.

“I know I’m a curvy girl. It’s not going to change. It’s the way I’m built, and I refuse to diet all the time just to end up in a perpetual bad mood so I can lose a few pounds.” She picked the magazine up again and peered closely at the page to which it was open. “But does that mean they’re always going to be on the lookout for a baby bump? Dissecting what I’m wearing, to see if Hollywood’s bad boy prince knocked up his student?”

Knocked up? I yanked the magazine out of her hand to read what they’d written. “If only it was fucking true,” I mumbled under my breath.

“I was a virgin up until a week ago,” she said, jerking the magazine away from me to go drop it into the garbage. “Even if you had knocked me up between now and then, I wouldn’t have a baby bump yet.”

My eyes dropped to her belly since I sure as fuck had been doing my best to put my baby in there. Each time I took her, I went in bare and I hadn’t seen any sign of birth control pills in the stuff she’d unpacked into the master bathroom.

“Don’t you go getting any ideas. This stuff it trash. Literally.” She kicked the garbage can for good measure. “And I’m sick and tired of them playing up the whole student-teacher thing. We didn’t even meet until my eighteenth birthday. I’m not some underage girl you started a relationship with when you shouldn’t have.”

“But I was your teacher,” I teased, loving how worked up she was getting. With her cheeks turning red and her eyes heating up, she looked even more gorgeous than usual.

“Not like a teacher teacher.” She wagged her finger at me. “We met on a movie set where I was one of the stars of the film. I might have only been in Hollywood for less than half a year, but I know darn well that I was in a position of authority just as much as you were. It’s totally different.”

“We both know who the boss is around here, but whatever you say, bright eyes.”

“Argh!” She stomped her foot and growled. “Stop. You know what I mean.”

“Would it be so bad?” At her look of confusion, I gestured towards her stomach. “If I knocked you up?”

“What? No!” Her eyes went wide and her hands slid over her belly, covering it. “Yes! I don’t know, Griffin. I’ve only known you for like a month, and I just moved in with you. A baby would complicate things for sure. Imagine the field day the papers would have if I was an unmarried teenager living with her former teacher and pregnant with his baby.”

“I thought you said it was totally different.”

“Yeah, but they wouldn’t see it that way,” she complained. “All they would see is an unmarried teen mom. Next thing you know, I’d be on that reality television show instead of doing another movie or going to college.”

She’d mentioned it twice, and it was enough for me to lead into a topic I’d thought was going to have to wait many more months. “What if you weren’t an unmarried teenager?”

“We’re not getting married just because t
he stupid paparazzi is on the lookout for a baby bump!”

“Don’t move,” I growled, running out of the room to head into my office. Yanking open the top drawer of my desk, I pulled out a little black box and raced back into the kitchen. Avery’s eyes got even bigger, her mouth opening to form a little O as she gasped.

“That’s not why I want to make you my wife, bright eyes.” I dropped to my knees in front of her. “I couldn’t give two fucks what anyone else thinks about our relationship, except that everyone knows you’re mine.”

I flipped open the box and lifted it up for her to see inside. “With a ring that big, it would be hard for anyone not to know I was yours.”

“Go big or go home wasn’t an option for me. I went big because you are my home. My heart. My everything.”

“Oh, Griffin,” she gasped, tears streaming down her cheeks.

“Marry me.” I didn’t ask it like a question as I plucked the ring from the box and slid it on her finger, but she answered anyway.

  “Yes.”

“Fuck yeah!” I whooped, wrapping my arms around her upper legs and lifting her up when I got to my feet. I spun her around before I let her body slide down my front as I set her back onto the floor.

She’d put on the dress shirt I’d worn yesterday, with only one button in place holding it together. As my hands slid upwards, I encountered the bare skin of her ass cheeks and realized she hadn’t bothered with any panties. What little restraint I had snapped, and I bent low to haul her over my shoulder. With one hand sliding between her legs to hold her in place, I marched into our bedroom and tossed her onto our bed.

Seeing her spread out for me in nothing more than my shirt, with my ring on her finger, made my heart race and my breath catch in my throat. “You’re so fucking beautiful,” I growled, tearing my pajama pants down my legs before I crawled into bed with her. I slid my fingers into the opening at the top of the shirt to cup her tit, making her whimper. “And mine. All mine.”

I dropped my mouth to hers, my tongue sliding between her lips to claim her mouth. When her nails dug into my shoulders, I tore the shirt open, and that lone button went flying. Dipping my head lower, I sucked her nipples into my mouth. Her back arched off the mattress and her hands moved higher so her nails could dig into my scalp instead.

I felt the pre-come dripping from the head of my cock, the slick heat of her arousal rubbing against me was making me impossibly hard. Sliding one finger low, I dipped inside her pussy, testing her readiness. “So fucking wet for me. Only ever for me.”

“Griffin,” she whimpered, circling her hips.

I wrapped my hand around my cock with one hand, while tilting her hips up. With one powerful thrust, I filled her until the head of my cock bumped against her cervix. I slid out and then back in again, with long, slow strokes. Knowing she was going to be my wife soon, I was already close to the edge. The feel of every inch of her pussy rippling around me had my body tensing as I tried to hold back until she was ready to come with me.

“Fuck,” I groaned. “Your pussy feels so damn good.”

“Please,” she begged as I slowed my thrusts down even more.

“I’ll get you there, bright eyes,” I whispered into her ear, pressing kisses to the skin of her neck.

I reached down, sliding my thumb over her clit in quick circles, making her scream out as her pussy strangled my cock. With her walls clamping down on me, I thrust into her harder.

“Fuck!” I roared, coming harder than I ever had before. When my heart finally slowed and I wasn’t trying to catch my breath, I slumped forward onto the mattress, rolling onto my back and pulling her on top of me.

“I love you,” she whispered against my lips.

Looking into her eyes and seeing the same depth of emotion I felt for her shining back at me, it was clear that she owned me as much as I owned her. I was a damn lucky man. “Do you love me enough to elope to Vegas and avoid the media frenzy that’s going to surround our engagement and wedding?”

“Vegas?” She wrinkled her nose up. “I’ve never been there before. If we elope, I’d still want it to be special.”

“Trust me, bright eyes.” I dropped a kiss on her lips. “Vegas offers more than just quickie, drive-by wedding ceremonies. You’ll be able to get whatever you want there.”

“It would be nice to have our wedding be just about the two of us, without having to worry about the paparazzi,” she sighed.

“Then let’s run off and get married. Give me two more of your firsts—Vegas and a wedding.”

“Yes,” she replied sleepily, her head dropping to my shoulder as she drifted off for a nap.

Later that night, that yes turned into an I do after Hank loaned me his plane and pulled some strings to help me give my bright-eyed girl the wedding of her dreams.

  Epilogue

  Avery

“Avery, Mr. Stone is on line one,” my assistant informed me.

As crazy as it was, I had my very own assistant. After Griffin and I had run off to Vegas and gotten married, I’d realized that my mom truly had zero control over me anymore. With my husband’s full support, I enrolled as a freshman at a local college. And when I finally managed to graduate, Hank got what he’d always wanted—another movie executive in the family. Only it was me who followed his path instead of Griffin.

For some odd reason, it only seemed to fuel the public’s interest in us as a couple even more. My mother-in-law seemed to think it was because people were fascinated by the reasons why we’d both turned our backs on acting. Then again, she’d joined in on the baby watch as much as everyone else. So much so, that I often wondered if the paparazzi were so interested in us because Ava had offered a healthy bonus to the first one to discover when I turned up pregnant because she didn’t want to have to wait for us to call her with the news. And it had worked out in her favor. Both times Griffin had knocked me up, photos of my baby bump appeared in the papers before I’d even made it in to see the doctor and confirm the home pregnancy tests I’d taken.

“How many times do I have to tell you it’s okay to call him Griffin?”

“About seventy billion and one,” she mumbled, a blush staining her cheeks.

It had taken six months before I’d talked her into using my first name, but I didn’t think I’d ever be successful when it came to my husband. She was shy, but incredibly organized. Hank warned me she wouldn’t be able to handle this world when I’d hired her, but I saw something in her that made me want to give her a chance.

It turned out to be a great decision, too, because she was amazing at her job. Little by little, she’d been coming out of her shell, and I couldn’t wait to see how she blossomed when she was completely comfortable around here.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Stone,” I answered in a breathy tone of voice.

“Your assistant is still refusing to call me Griffin?” my husband laughed. “She’s a year older than you, for fuck’s sake.”

Griffin got a kick out of the fact that I tended to mother her, even though I was younger. He teased me about it quite often. But it was okay because I joked with him about our age difference all the time, too. “Everyone’s older than me.”

  “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” he groused.

“Are you calling to beg me to come home because the kids have completely worn you out?”

Our daughters, Audra and Stella, were on summer break from school. At six and eight years old, they were quite the handful. But they adored their daddy and were thrilled to be able to spend their break hanging out with him. And after today, I had a whole month off work so we could take them on vacation.

“I’ll show you exactly how much energy I have left tonight, bright eyes,” he growled. “In fact, maybe you should take a nap on that couch in your office to make sure you’re ready to keep up with me.”

  “Bring it on, old man.”

He brought it all right. So much so, that I ended up pregnant again. With twins.

  Chapter 1

  Angelica

As I watched the girl dancing on stage, I couldn’t help but tremble with fear, my shoulders slumping in defeat. With the school year over, I needed to figure out what I was going to do about the train wreck my life had become. If anyone had told me a few short years ago that I’d be standing here in a strip club contemplating my future, I would have laughed my ass off.

I’d always been a daddy’s girl, so when he’d taken off during my sophomore year of high school, it had come as an enormous shock to me. I’d already been struggling with the knowledge that my mom wasn’t going to last much longer. She had been diagnosed with cancer the year before and had begun losing the battle. The doctors had told us to prepare for the worst and had advised that she’d probably only have another six to twelve months.

My parents had gotten married straight out of high school when my mom had gotten pregnant with me. I’d always sensed some distance between them since they never acted all lovey-dovey around me, but I’d never expected for my dad to run off like a coward the way he had. He’d always said I was the best thing that had ever happened to him, yet he had no problem walking away when the going got tough.
