Her hand moved down and unbuttoned his shirt, revealing the toned, lithe muscles underneath. She felt a scar along the middle of his chest. There were so many discoveries to be made, and they had a lifetime to make them. He bit his lip as her hands ventured down, and when she curled her fingers around his thick, hard erection, he buried himself against her, grunting in her ear, blasting her with his hot breath.

Their chests heaved in the same rhythm. His hand slipped down and they pleasured each other with their fingers, exploring each other to find their sweet spots. Every twitch of his fingers brought her unmatched delight and every flick of her wrist had the same effect on him. Mary-Jane wanted to remind him how to love, wanted to show him that it was fine to share this intimacy with someone else. She had waited so long to become a wife and perform all the duties that it entailed, and only now did she see that the wait had been worthwhile. It was as though a veil had been lifted from her mind and she had been stripped of the last vestiges of childhood. No longer could she cling to the security of her home or what had come before. She was on the frontier, experiencing a new life and all that it had to offer.

She welcomed Luke's body over hers, and the frantic kisses were fueled by their mutual passion. His hands were everywhere, and so were his lips. She didn't know where to look, but her body was on fire and it was all so deliriously exciting. The heat made sweat prickle over her body, and she drowned in him.

“I'm yours,” she whispered, and this seemed to drive him wild, as she was subjected to a barrage of kisses, and then he finally plunged himself inside her, unable to wait any longer. Her eyes shot open upon feeling him enter her, and as he thrust, her body moved to the rhythm that he was generating. Their hands and fingers linked together as their bodies entwined in perfect harmony. Their flesh pressed against each other and the pain she felt was an exquisite delight. No longer did she feel bad that it had taken her so long to experience this, because she knew that she had been destined to wait for Luke. She was his wife, for now and for always, and she was going to give him everything she had.

The heat in the cavern rose until she felt as though she was being consumed by an inferno. Everything was a blur as the breaths and moans crashed through her body, reaching a violent crescendo. Luke's writhing body shuddered and convulsed as the two of them rose closer and closer to a sweet orgasm. Mary-Jane didn't quite know how to process it, so she let the feeling sweep over her like a glorious sunburst, and when her mind cracked and every part of her body wanted to scream hysterically she let it pass through her like a thunderstorm.

The two of them laid together, clinging to each other, either afraid or unable to let go of each other in the hazy afterglow of intercourse. They kissed softly and Luke grabbed her head with his big hand, looking deeply into her eyes.

“I am yours too,” he said, and planted another deep kiss onto her.

In that cavern, she bid farewell to the last part of her previous life, and the following morning she rode with Luke back to her new home, where new adventures awaited. She would soon meet Eli, and was excited to become a mother. Everything was falling into place, and she could venture forward with Luke without any longing for home. Whenever she looked at him, she saw the man she had been waiting for, and was glad that she had been in that store on that particular day to see his advertisement.

While there was sorrow in her heart that her uncle had deserted her and left her, she was almost glad in a way, because it gave her a way to empathize and understand the loss that he had as well, and the two of them could move forward together and create a new life and new memories, ones that would replace the sad ones that already existed.

And so it was that the two of them found themselves staring at the horizon again, but this time, they were not staring in yearning, but in hope and expectation, and excitement.

And, this time, the horizon was getting closer, rather than remaining far away and unreachable.
