Sapphires And Sagebrush (Country Brides & Cowboy Boots)

Parting her lips to receive Spencer, Cressa yielded to his kiss, entwined her arms around his neck, and pulled him close as the earlier flutter surged into a thrilling shiver.
Spencer pulled away and whispered gently in her ear. “I think I may be falling in love with you, Cressa.”
The earlier flutter found its way to her belly as the warmth of Spencer’s declaration filled her with joy. Learning against Spencer, she placed her cheek against his warm chest. The steady rhythm of his heart soothed her. “I hope so. After all, you’re the one who’s made me brave enough to feel love,” Cressa murmured.
“And you taught me that I’m worthy of love,” Spencer replied as his mouth found Cressa’s lips once again. This time, his kiss was hungry, and Cressa rose to meet it with a desire of her own.
Pulling from Spencer, Cressa gathered his hands in hers before bringing them to her lips. Warm bliss filled her with delight and comfort. She smiled into Spencer’s dark eyes, kissing his fingers one at a time. Reaching up to touch his lips, her breath mingled with his. She quietly whispered, “We can’t know what the future holds,” she said. “But today, our world is filled with love.”
