How to Tell a Lie

When Seth finished his starburst of kisses on the right side, he moved to the left and she couldn’t restrain her dismayed response.

“Oh, please, just suck it! Please!”

“I will at some point. Patience, my love, patience.”

  “You really are evil!”

“I know. I said so, didn’t I? Now be quiet, I’m working here.”

He was concentrating hard again, using her own idea against her and encircling her left breast in a spiral of chocolate. When he put the brush down and started to lick at the outermost point of the circle, she thought she might be getting closer to some sort of relief. But then he changed course again and leaned over her right breast to lick suddenly at the half-dried mousse that still decorated her nipple.

Allison cried out, startled at the sudden shock that hit her straight between the legs. He licked her again and she gripped the rug so hard she nearly pulled the fibers loose. The third lick was all it took to clean the chocolate off, and when he lifted his head she sobbed out another helpless plea. He ignored it, just as she had deliberately ignored a similar plea from him earlier.

He shifted sides and started at the outside of the spiral again, and this time he continued, languorously making his way along the track he had created in a series of licks and kisses. When he was perilously close to the center he slowed down even more, gleeful at Allison’s obvious distress. She was whimpering now, working her legs together to try to get some sort of stimulation there, and was only vaguely aware that the pressure on her thigh was Seth’s cock, hard and ready again. Her eyes were squeezed shut so hard that later her cheeks would be sore from it.

Finally, after prolonging his journey around her nipple for what seemed to Allison like several hours, she felt the wet heat of his mouth on the eager bud and the pressure of his fingers at its twin. And as soon as he started to tongue the hard little knot, she howled and climaxed in a slow, exquisite wave. It was a melting onslaught of pleasure that could only inflame, never satisfy.

She came back to herself still panting and pleading, twisting her legs around Seth’s to try to pull him back up to enter her.

And he was smirking and chuckling, the smug villain. He lifted himself up to his hands and knees over her, defeating her attempts to take him by force.

“I thought you might do that,” he said, and she was torn between wanting to smack the smirk from his lips and wanting to fuck him senseless. Being of a practical nature, she opted for the latter. Remembering that her hands were not in fact tied to the rug by anything but her own grip, she shifted that grip and wrapped both hands around Seth’s erection, effectively shutting him up. He eased back and forth in her grasp, the sticky tip of his penis brushing her belly with each passage.

“You know how smooth I am?” he asked.

“How smooth are you?” she said, the obligatory response.

“Hang on…” He reached past her head toward the side of the rug and lifted it just enough to fish out a condom packet from underneath.

“Oh, that was pretty smooth all right. You were sure of yourself, I see.”

“Well, yeah.” His modesty, though false, was still damnably charming. Allison thought it might be those long eyelashes, not noticeable when he had his glasses on but totally compelling when he took them off. They batted against his cheeks like a flirtatious Southern belle’s, and she couldn’t resist it. “But you have to admit I laid the groundwork first.”

  “I’ll give you that, sure.”

  “Allison?”

  “Hmm?”

  “Ravish me?”

She smiled then screwed up her mouth as if she were thinking about it.

“Well, I might consider it. You’d have to get off me first, of course.”

“If I’m going to do that, you’ll need to let go of my penis.”

“True.” She sighed happily, but made no move to release him.

  “Um, sweetheart?”

“Yes? Oh. Sorry.” Sheepishly, she let him go. The sticky residue of the mousse meant she had to peel her hands free. “This is going to be so messy to clean up.”

“I bought this rug because it was machine washable. And we’re shower washable. And it doesn’t matter anyway. It’s totally worth it.” He sat back on his heels so Allison could move out of the way, then he took her place on the fluffy rug, settling down on his back and wasting no time in rolling the condom on. The wrapper stuck to his hand and then to Allison’s hand when she tried to remove it for him. She finally shook it free and they both laughed as she crawled over Seth and wiped her palms against his chest, one of the few mousse-free surfaces available. He clasped his hands over hers then held them there with one hand, lowering the other to his cock and teasing it against her when she started to lower herself onto him. She shifted, trying to catch him, and he moved again.

“I thought you wanted me to ravish you,” she said with a pout. “You’re making it difficult.”

“Could you beg again? I kind of liked the way that sounded.”

“Should you really be pushing your luck like this right now?”

He let her hands go and pushed his freed hand between them, sliding it down her belly and between her legs. Two fingers slipped straight into her pussy, which was already so wet it offered no resistance.

Allison clenched her teeth, trying to hold out. But when Seth started to grind his palm in steady circles against her clit, her hips moved automatically to meet the pressure and she let out a hoarse little cry before she could help herself.

“Uncle,” she said finally, caving in. “Please, please let me ravish you! Please? Now?”

Smug but benevolent, Seth replaced his fingers with his cock and echoed Allison’s groan of satisfaction as he slid home.

She was too close, too eager, and she rode him almost frantically, relishing the friction of his cock inside her tight passage. Arching into her, Seth pushed deeper still, hitting her limit forcefully. Allison gasped at the jolt of pain then cried out as an even more powerful jolt of pleasure zipped through her, pulling her straight to the edge and then tipping her over as she tried and failed to regain control. Seth grabbed her hips and took over the rhythm, not letting her slow or stop, each jerk of his hips sending another wave of almost unbearable bliss through Allison’s body. She gave up, gave in, moaned his name and was only vaguely aware of his echoing cry as he came hard inside her.

Later she would see scratches on his chest, bruises on her own hips, and have no idea how any of that happened. Now she felt only his hands on her, coaxing her trembling body down to lay on his chest, soothing her with long, deliberate strokes along her back.

“Good ravishing,” he whispered at last, his voice sounding none too steady.

“Thanks,” she murmured against his shoulder. She felt him trying to brush her hair out of his face, and she lifted her head and flicked the heavy locks over her other shoulder to fall harmlessly out of his way. Seth reached up and tugged a thick tress back over, curling it around his hand and holding the silky bundle to his cheek. The gesture was unexpected, affectionate, sweet. Allison smiled down at Seth, who smiled back sleepily.

  “Your hair is sticky.”

“Oh. Um. My everything is sticky.”

“My everything is sticky too. We should probably move this to the shower.”

Trailing after Seth to his bathroom, Allison marveled again at the closets and wondered how anybody could possibly not care about them. They were gorgeous. She allowed herself the indulgent vision of her own clothes hanging there, her shoes arranged on the shelves. Not because it was Seth’s closet, she assured herself, but because it was simply the best closet she had ever seen.

The bathroom, though, had its own merits, as she had seen clearly on her earlier visit during the tour. The slate was cold on her feet but the water heated quickly and steamed up the shower enclosure while they stood under the spray and let the water sluice the chocolate from their bodies.

The water alone wasn’t enough. Seth grabbed
a bar of soap and lathered Allison briskly, efficiently, saying so little that his silence began to make her nervous. Then, as it seemed the polite thing to do and a wonderful excuse to run her hands all over him, she returned the favor. He watched her intently, a curious smile touching his lips.

She thought he was going to say something once, but it was only a request for her to turn around so he could wash her hair. He took his time, working the suds through and then the conditioner, rinsing meticulously. His fingers felt wonderful against her scalp, gentle and relaxing.

It wasn’t until after they were finally clean, toweled off and back in the bedroom that Seth finally spoke again. Shy almost, gazing at the ground and practically scuffling his toe like a nervous kid asking a girl to the big dance.

“I want you to stay the night.” He glanced up at her and then held her arm, placing a finger over her lips to forestall any interruption. “But I’m afraid to ask you to stay the night, because you might get scared and run away and never come back.”

Allison didn’t have a good response. In truth, she had been feeling anxious about what would happen after the sex, after the shower. But she had come home with him after dinner because she thought it was worth it, because she was ready for the risk.

“Like startling away a shy woodland creature?” she asked, mumbling against his finger.

“Exactly.” He dropped his hand to her other arm, stroking her from shoulders to elbows. “Maybe instead I should just leave a trail of corn between here and the bed or something.”

“Or a salt lick on the pillow?”

  “Hmm. Oats.”

  “Chocolate mousse?”

“I’m afraid I’m fresh out.” He grinned, pulling her closer very slowly.

“Darn,” Allison said with a snap of her fingers. “Nothing left but the tranquilizer gun.”

  Seth snickered.

“I think I pretty much already used that up too. Needs a while to recharge.”

She slapped his chest gently but giggled. “It knocked me out but only for a few seconds. Got anything else?”

  “Allison?”

  “Mmm?”

“You do realize I’m in love with you? Right?”

She looked up, startled. Seth’s tone hadn’t changed, he still sounded light, amused, happy to be indulging her. She was startled, too, at her own immediate answer, given before she had time to think.

  “Yes. I mean…yes.”

“I want you to stay. Not just tonight. I love you, and I want to wake up to you and have coffee and be sleepy and grumpy together down in that kitchen every morning.”

“I love you.” She was a few steps behind in the conversation.

  “Sweetheart, catch up.”

  “Can I have tea instead?”

Seth looked at her for a second and then laughed out loud. Tugging her into his arms, he kissed the top of her head then hugged her tight. Allison squeezed closer still, arms around his waist.

“No,” he finally answered, delight still evident in his voice. “But the flamingo can have anything it wants.”

  About the Author

After earning two graduate degrees, practicing law awhile and then working for the public school system for over ten years, Delphine finally got a clue. She tossed all that aside and started doing what she should have been doing all along, writing novels! In hindsight she could see the decision was a no-brainer. Because which sounds like more fun? Being a lawyer/special educator/reading specialist/educational diagnostician…or writing spicy romances?

When not writing or doing “mommy stuff”, Delphine reads voraciously, watches home improvement shows, noodles around with html and css coding, and plays computer games with her darling (and very romantic) husband. She is fortunate enough to have two absurdly precocious children and two rotten but endearing rescued mutts.

Delphine and her family are all Texas natives, and reside in unapologetic suburban bliss near Houston.
