Maddox must have realized I was lost because he finally managed to collect himself. “Hi, I’m Maddox and this is my boyfriend, Bryan.”

“Boyfriend and…” The little nosy one was stubborn but unlike the last time we were ambushed, he radiated a safe openness, kind of like Sarah. There was no panic that he’d judge or condemn us for anything we might say. In fact, I kind of got the feeling that he’d prefer it if we were strange.

  Very odd.

Jeremy reached down and gave him a firm smack on his bottom. Kevin squeaked and gave him an I’ll-get-even look. They were weird.

Maddox looked down at me and shrugged again. He was no help at all. He was leaving it up to me, but I didn’t know what I wanted to say. Keep things to ourselves or share? Lie or try to tell the truth? That was what it boiled down to.

Deciding that if they said anything to everybody else we could deny it and say they were crazy—wasn’t I so nice?—I decided to go for it. Good practice anyway, even if it bit me in the ass. They were patient, considering it took me three or four times to get the words out but eventually I managed it. “We’re in an age-play relationship.” The next part was harder but I did it. “He’s Maddox and Daddy.”

Maddox reached down to squeeze my hand. Gripping him tightly, I didn’t let him go. I was getting a little bit light-headed and not the good floaty kind like when he spanked me. He must have realized something was wrong because he moved to stand behind me.

Wrapping his arms around me, he whispered in my ear. “Breathe, Baby. Deep breath for me. Baby, I’m serious. You need to take a big breath. There we go. Again. It will make you crazy if you pass out in here. You have to breathe again.”

Finally, I managed to follow his instructions and everything started to clear. He was right. I had no desire to pass out there. At least I hadn’t hidden. Was almost passing out better or worse?

“What did I tell you about being nosy? You almost killed him!” The words were quiet but firm, Jeremy frowning at an anxious Kevin.

Kevin didn’t glance at the big guy. He just smacked Jeremy in the stomach. “I didn’t almost kill him. I almost made him pass out. There’s a big difference between those two.”

When he could see I was fine, he started to apologize. “I’m so sor—”

  “No, it’s fine. I haven’t had to say that…I’m kind of…shy…”

Maddox decided to break the tension; he leaned in closer and did a bad stage whisper. “Paranoid…I think that might be a better word.”

That had everyone cracking up and Kevin relaxed, leaning against Jeremy. He gave me another big smile. “Thank you for telling us.” Then his expression grew more cautious but he kept going. “It’s hard finding people who are more open-minded and won’t judge. Most of the students we’ve met so far seem a bit—”

  Jeremy jumped in. “Judgmental…narrow-minded…vanilla…”

Kevin smacked him again, “I was going to say something nicer…rigid in their beliefs of how a relationship should look, maybe?”

I had to nod. “Yeah, I agree. It’s part of the reason, aside from the paranoia,” I had to poke Maddox again, “that we haven’t told anyone. I can’t imagine anyone over there understanding something outside the box.”

Jeremy gave Kevin this I-told-you-so expression but the smaller guy ignored him, giving me another cautious look. “How open-minded are you?”

  I was stumped.

Was “I don’t know” a reasonable answer? I had to look at Maddox for that one. “Are we open-minded?”

That made him laugh but there were some reservations in his eyes that hadn’t been there before. He squeezed my hand again then looked over to the two guys. I could tell he was debating things in his head. He glanced back and forth between everyone several times trying to make up his mind.

Eventually, he came to a decision because he nodded and everyone relaxed. “Yes, we’re open-minded. Don’t worry about it. Whatever it is.”

Jeremy gave Maddox this very Dom look and they seemed to be having some kind of nonverbal discussion. Maddox gave him a small little nod, then shrugged like whatever it was didn’t matter. Jeremy relaxed and you could see Kevin slide into that bouncy, happy place. What the hell was going on?

“Do you guys want to come over sometime and hang out at our place? We have an apartment off campus. Pizza or something?” Kevin was watching the two Doms waiting to see what they were going to say.

  See, I wasn’t a complete moron.

I got the part where they were in some kind of BDSM relationship. But I wasn’t sure what kind. The spanking gave it away, but the way they interacted didn’t come across as typical for the lifestyle. They argued and teased each other more than Maddox and I did. It was…odd.

Maddox nodded, handing his phone to Jeremy. “Sure, sounds like fun. Let me get your number and I’ll text you to work out the details.”

They exchanged numbers while Kevin and I watched. There was something going on. Before I gave anyone my number, I wanted to know what it was. When the two guys were all set, we made our good-byes and started heading out. I hadn’t forgotten my surprise. Evidently, the two guys didn’t either because they gave us wicked grins and told us to have fun.

I managed to hide my embarrassment until we’d grabbed our bags by the door and made our escape. “They know we’re going to do something.”

I couldn’t decide if I was being ridiculous or if my mortification was justified.

Maddox laughed and pulled me close. “They’re going to be doing something too, soon.”

“That’s just weird. Knowing another couple that’s…something like us. They’re like us, right? I mean, I get the whole spanking thing. That was obvious but there was something else. They were even nervous to share after I shared. And did you see? I shared!” I might have been a little wound up. Too much stress.

Maddox gave me a hug. “I’m not sure you get to be that proud of yourself when you almost pass out telling someone. You scared the hell out of me. Don’t do that again, B.”

“I wasn’t doing it on purpose. It was…overwhelming, I guess. Sarah knew and you handled most of that. This time it was different.”

“I didn’t mean that you had to be the one to tell. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to share it with them or tell them to mind their own business. By the time I figured it out, you were trying to say it. I was so proud of you, Baby.” He pulled me tight again and held me close for a minute. I hadn’t meant to scare him.

When he pulled back, he took my hand and started walking us away from the building. I had more questions so I kept talking. “So what did I miss? You seemed to be having some kind of psychic discussion with Jeremy.”

“I don’t know what they’re into, but Jeremy is extremely protective of Kevin. And not in a normal way. I might be wrong. But I don’t think so. They’re into something they think we won’t understand.” He sighed and looked around. “Let’s get somewhere more private before we talk about it. I’d feel terrible if someone heard us.”

“Okay. I think you had plans for taking us somewhere private anyway?” Not that I was hinting. I wanted to make sure he hadn’t forgotten.

Laughing, he squeezed my hand. “I remember. Do you have your car keys?”

“Yes.” Now I was very curious.

  “Let’s go, then.”

We wandered through campus back to my dorm. Luckily, it wasn’t a long walk and the afternoon wasn’t too hot. August could be a killer, but it was actually pretty mild. I was going through all the kink related things I’d seen. I was feeling a little like Maddox when we first got together.

They hadn’t seemed too out there. If you looked past the bickering and teasing, they seemed to love each other. And marriage meant commitment. Whatever they were into, they were in it for the long haul. That’s what mattered, right?

It wasn’t age play. They would have said something if it was. It had to be something out there for them to be worried. The problem was, I couldn’t think of much that was
more outside the box than what we were into.

When we got to the car, Maddox asked for the keys. I was hesitant about it and wasn’t going to hide it. “You sure about that?”

“Ha, ha. You don’t know where we’re going. It’s not that far.”

Handing them over, I shook my head. “Don’t make me regret this.”

“Don’t make me punish you, Baby.” His voice sent shivers down my spine and my cock pushed against the cage. Damned thing.

I managed not to do anything ridiculous like beg for a spanking, but it was close. I was well past embarrassment and I’d moved on to desperation. I needed Daddy to take control and I needed my Dom to spank me. Everything else I was flexible with. As long as an orgasm was included somehow…and sex…and lots of cuddling.

So maybe I wasn’t that flexible.

Once we’d locked the doors and Maddox knew no one could hear, he took a deep breath and looked at me. Were they aliens or something?

  “What are they into?”

“I can only guess but everything that I can think of is really different. They’re too nervous for it to be something simple. I’m a to-each-his-own kind of guy, and I think you are too. So I’m not sure it matters but I have to admit, it makes me curious.”

“I’d like to think so. I don’t care what they’re up to in the bedroom. It’s not my business. They seemed to want people around who could relate to whatever they’re doing.”

“I can understand that. Some kinks and different types of relationships can make you feel isolated.” He was trying to ease me into the whole idea of sharing our relationship with people. And I appreciated that, but the idea was still weird.

“That’s what Sarah was trying to make us see. To pick who we told carefully but not hide it from everyone.” It was still hard to imagine deliberately looking for people to share your lifestyle with, but I was starting to understand.

He nodded and leaned back against the seat. “If it was something like a regular BDSM relationship of any kind they wouldn’t have hidden it. Just the way Jeremy spanked Kevin said they didn’t feel worried about that part.”

“I thought that was shocking enough. I guess they knew from my accidental oversharing that we were safe to open up around but still…” I wasn’t sure what else to say. “Are there things that would scare us off from being their friends?”

Maddox frowned, shrugging, “I don’t think so. We weren’t going to let anything that Sarah and Richard did scare us off. Even if he would have been kneeling for the meal, we’d have gotten used to it. I can’t see this being any different. Can you?”

“I don’t think so. I guess if they were exhibitionists and they wanted us to watch or something but…”

Laughing, he shook his head. “That sounds like the plot to a dirty book.”

“That’s what this feels like. One naughty couple meets another one, but they don’t know what the kink is yet. It could be some kind of horrible erotic thriller and we all end up dead.” It might not be likely, but they were hiding something.

“They’re testing the waters to see how we’re going to react. I don’t like not knowing. I can’t protect you from what I don’t know.” Mad frowned and shifted in his seat.

I wanted to say he wouldn’t have to protect me from anything, but that would be stupid. There were lots of things that I’d need him for. “They don’t make me too crazy. Not like before.”

“Me neither. Maybe it was because this didn’t feel like we were being ambushed. This was an accident they weren’t going to pass up. Kevin was really excited to find someone who was unique.” Maddox was starting to relax again, less worried something would go wrong.

I didn’t blame him. My almost passing out didn’t help his worries. “But we’re still going to hang out with them?”

“I think so. There isn’t a reason not to. I might be paranoid.” He gave me a wink. “They seem nice and I like the idea of having friends we can relax around. It might be something weird, but I can’t see it being an issue. What do you think?”

“If weird shit comes up we’d deal with it, but otherwise it isn’t our business. I like them. And I’ve already gotten past the hard part. They know about our relationship and who we are to each other. Nothing else can be that difficult to get past.” I was going to end up being embarrassed about it no matter what it was. The specifics of their kink probably didn’t matter; it wasn’t my concern.

Right now, what was my business was play time or sex time or whatever-he-had-planned time. “Okay, no more other weird people. Time to focus on these two weird people right here.” I leaned over and gave him a kiss. “I’m ready for my surprise, Daddy.”

“You’ve been a very good boy.” He reached over and let his hand rest on my restraint. “Are the toys bothering your special places?”

That had me squirming in my seat, which made the plug press against me. Biting back a moan, I shook my head. “They don’t hurt, Daddy. But I need you.”

He gave the cage a pat and pulled back to start driving. “It won’t take us long to get there.”

  “Where’s there?”

Smirking, he shook his head. “Not yet.”

“You’re trying to make me crazy.”

“Yes. Is it working?” His wicked grin made me want to throw something at him.

All I could think was that it better be close or I was going to explode.

  CHAPTER 10

  Maddox

My baby was very excited about his surprise. So excited, he needed something to distract him. I had just the thing. We’d played with the plug several times, but he didn’t seem to remember what else it did. Luckily, I was a very prepared Dom.

Reaching down, I got the remote out of my pocket and laid it on my leg. Before Bryan noticed, I had the button pressed. His cute little squeak got me harder, but the low moan that followed made it difficult to concentrate. He was so sexy.

And sensitive, so I didn’t leave it going very long.

When the buzzing stopped and he caught his breath, he looked over at me, clearly not sure how he felt about the toy. Letting the remote rest on my thigh, I moved my hand to cup his cage again. “I think this will make car trips much more fun.”

“Daddy!” Bryan was scandalized but he didn’t deny how interesting it would be.

I let my hand slide down between his legs so I could press on his taint, teasing his prostate against the toy from the outside in. “I bet my baby liked that. You’re going to be a good boy for me, aren’t you?”

Bryan opened his legs a little more and a low whimper escaped. “Yes, Daddy. I’ll be good.”

“I’m glad. Now leave your legs open like this. I want to know I can touch my baby.”

I was doing my best to focus on driving and not how sexy he probably looked, but I could tell he was blushing. His hands came up to hide his face but he mumbled a low agreement. “Yes, Daddy.”

  That deserved another reward.

Moving my hand back, I pressed the button, letting little pulses go off in the toy. I had it on the lowest setting, but Bryan’s reaction was incredible. He moaned and arched up in the seat. His hands dropped down from his face to grab on to the seat while he writhed.

Knowing how easily he could orgasm from just anal play, I didn’t tease him for long. And before he could catch his breath, I had my hand back between his legs. His legs tightened around my hand and he tried to grind his little hole against my fingers.

Giving his thigh a careful pinch so it wasn’t too hard, I let my Dom voice come out. “Naughty boy. You know better than that. Are you allowed to play with your special place?”

He groaned in embarrassed desire and shook his head.

  “Words, Baby.”

“I’m sorry, Daddy. I won’t do it again.” His voice was low and needy. My sexy boy was so ready for our time together.

“You won’t do what again? Tell Daddy what you’re sorry for.” It was going to push him but I was hoping he would be able to say it. I moved
my hand back to give the remote another pulse for some incentive.

Bryan gasped and a quick glance told me he was trying to stay still. When he caught his breath, he sat quietly for a minute. I wasn’t sure if he was thinking or just trying to find his brain; it could have been either. Finally, he looked straight out the front window and started to speak.

“I won’t play with my special place or try and make you touch it. I’m sorry I was naughty when you were using the toy, Daddy.”

Sexy didn’t even begin to describe my baby.

“I’m glad you could say sorry so nicely, Baby. And I’m very proud of you for being able to use your words. I know I can count on you to be a good boy while we play today.” Reaching over, I gave the cage another pat. “You want to get your cage off, don’t you? So Daddy can touch you?”

A broken moan escaped. This time, all Bryan could do was nod. My needy boy.

The drive only took about fifteen minutes but by the time we got to the trailhead, Bryan was ready to explode. I kept him from going off, though. I was getting pretty good at reading the signs. When we parked, it took him a few seconds to focus enough to see where we were.

“Hiking? I have to walk?” He sounded horrified.

Laughing, possibly a little wickedly, I shook my head. “Not much. I have a blanket. There’s no one else around, and we’re going to have lots of privacy.”

It was considered a hiking trail but it was actually a short walk around a historical marker. Anyone who did any real hiking used other trails that were much more interesting and whatever event the marker was supposed to draw attention to never caught the tourist’s attention. We would have the place to ourselves.

I’d dated this guy for a while during my sophomore year who thought hiking was incredibly fun. We’d come out here a couple of times and it was always empty. He’d finally found other places he wanted to hike, but we’d broken up before I got dragged along.

I might not want to go see the great outdoors much, but I wouldn’t mind it as long as Bryan was my reward every time. Getting his legs to work enough that he could stand was the hard part. Once he’d managed that, the rest wasn’t that bad. Although by the way he sighed and groaned, you would have thought I was making him climb Mount Everest before he got to orgasm.
