He obliged. He inserted a finger and her sweetness came dripping out. He lowered his head and began to kiss her in her secret garden. She tasted so good. He parted her lips with his fingers so that he could really get in there. He licked and flicked her clit with his tongue. He was becoming intoxicated by her aroma. She began flailing around on the bed. She kept reaching for him, trying to pull him to her, but he wouldn’t stop. He was a man on a mission. She began moaning out loudly and then she came crashing down on him. Only after she quieted did he stop and go to her. She reached for him and kissed him, deeply, tasting her own self. She could smell her aroma on his face. But she didn’t care. All she cared about was kissing the man of her dreams.

Shane lay down beside her, still kissing her, and she rolled over and was on top of him. She pulled away from kiss. Her hands sought out his body. They roamed over his chest and stomach. They stopped when they reached their destination. She found that he was so hard and ready to go. She began to stroke him up and down. He let out a low moan. She lowered her head and licked the length of him. He tensed and moaned again. This time she took him in her mouth, all of his massive member. He shuttered and arched his back. She was getting turned on again just by his reactions to her. She sucked him slow and with increasing vigor until he exploded all of his frustrations of missing her touch for the past almost two weeks.

He pulled Julie up to him and kissed her again. Now he finally started making love to her. They fell asleep in each others arms, happy.

They started the next day just the same way as they ended the last one. While they were lying there Shane said to Julie, “Have you thought about what I asked you? Will you go with me while I work? We can travel around together. We won’t have to ever be apart again.”

“Shane, I’ve been thinking about it, and as much as I’d like to, I don’t know if I can. How long would we be gone? What if the bank calls me back to work while we are gone, I’d probably lose my job. There are just so many things to think about. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to be away from you. I love you so much.”

“It’s OK, you don’t have to decide right now. They offered me another proposal, I can go on the road and take you with me or I can drive locally and be home every night to see you. It’s up to you.”

“Shane, no, don’t leave it up to me. I know how much you like to travel and see the country, and I’d love to go...but...”

“I know it’s a lot to think about. We have two weeks to decide, for I am now on vacation.” He said.

“Cool. Does that mean we don’t have to leave bed for two weeks?” She teased.

“If that’s what you want.” He started, “But I was kind of thinking that we could go out one night. Somewhere special.”

  “Where?”

  “I can’t tell you where. It’s a surprise.”

“OK, you know how I love surprises.”

The next few days were like heaven. They spent their days being happily in love and making love. Finally, the Clinic called and confirmed the blood test was, in deed, positive. So now Julie had to figure out how to tell Shane that she was pregnant and having his baby.

Friday afternoon Julie decided that tonight would be the night to tell Shane about the baby.

She thought that she would make a fancy dinner and tell him then. But Shane had different plans for dinner that night. Shane came home from the truck garage and said, “Julie, get ready, we are going out.”

“Where are we going, Hun?” She asked.

  “It’s a surprise.”

“I kind of had a surprise of my own.” She said.

“Oh, well, if you’d rather do yours instead of mine, then we can do that.” He said.

“No that’s all right. We can go, just give me half an hour to get ready.” She said.

Julie started to get ready, she put her make up on and pulled her hair up. She knew that any time Shane said to get ready because they were going out that it was always something special, so she picked out a nice little dress. She had already decided that this would be the night to tell him that she was pregnant. As she was putting the dress on, it hit her that it was the same dress that she wore the night that her and Shane had went out and ended up at t he cabin for the night. The little red number with the spaghetti straps and the slits up the sides. It was one of her favorites. In the back of her mind she wondered if Shane would remember it. Then something told her that he would.

“Shane, Honey, I’m ready.” She called as she came out of the bedroom.

“Wow! Look at you!” He exclaimed. “You look perfect.” He walked to her and kissed her.

“Thanks. You look pretty good yourself.” She smiled. “So, can you tell me where we are going?”

He shook his head, “I said it was a surprise.”

They got in his Mustang and drove away. As they were driving down the road Julie turned to Shane and said, “Honey, I’ve something really important to talk to you about.”

“You sound so serious, Baby, is everything OK?” He asked, concerned.

“Yeah, it’s nothing bad. It’s just. While you were gone I found out something.” She paused and looked at him. “It’s not really anything bad either, it’s just really big.”

  “OK, what is it?”

“Well, I don’t know how to tell you.” This time Shane looked at her. “Don’t look at me like that.” She grinned.

“Julie, whatever it is, just go on and tell me. If you’re worried that what you have to tell me will mess up this evening, you are very wrong. This evening is going to be perfect. Trust me.” He grinned.

“OK, here it goes. I was at the doctor’s while you were gone and I found out that I am pregnant.” She said it and waited for the pieces to fall.

  “Pregnant?” He asked.

  “Yeah, pregnant.”

“You’re having a baby?” He asked shocked.

  “Yeah.”

“I’m going to be a Daddy?” He looked at her hoping that his reception was acceptable.

“That’s what I’m saying. I’m going to be a Mommy and you are going to be the Daddy.” She smiled.

Shane reached over and took hold of her hand and put to his lips and kissed it. “I love you so much. This is incredible!” He said.

  “So you’re not mad?”

“Mad! No way! I’ve always wanted to have a baby. This is awesome.” He said. “It makes this night even more unforgettable. He was smiling so big that Julie thought his face might rip in half.

She was so happy that he wasn’t freaked out by her news and she felt so much better now that she told him about the baby. They sat in silence for a little while letting their newfound information sink in. Finally, Julie spoke, “So, are you going to tell me where we are going?”

“Not on your life. It’s a big surprise.” He laughed.

  “Oh alright.”

A little while later they pulled off the road and then up to a cabin. It was Shane’s cabin. Julie wondered why she had to get dressed up for this. Shane stopped the car and jumped out before Julie had a chance to move and he opened the door for her to get out.

“Thank you. You’re such a gentleman.” She told him.

“You think I wouldn’t open the door for the mother of my baby? What do you take me for, a Neanderthal?” He laughed.

“I think you are a very special man.” She kissed him. “Thank you for not freaking out on me when I told you I was pregnant. I was afraid to tell you.”

“You shouldn’t ever be afraid to tell me anything. Ever. No matter what, I’ll always be here for you. No matter what.” He told her.

They walked up to the cabin hand in hand until they reached the door. Shane fumbled with his keys as he searched for an excuse to have Julie stay outside for a few minutes. As he turned the key in the lock he said, “Oh Julie, I forgot my cell phone in the car, could you go get it? If it isn’t on the sun visor it fell on the floor. Please look for it, I’m expecting an important call from work.”

  “Sure,
Hun, I’ll go get it.”

He ran inside as fast as he could, he needed to get things ready. This was going to be the most important night of their lives. He was there the day before to get things ready, but he had to do the finishing touches. He had just finished lighting the candles and starting the gas fireplace when he heard Julie approaching. He quickly got in position and Julie opened the door.

Her mouth dropped open as she peered into the cabin. It was filled with candles and there was a roaring fire in the fireplace. There was a big comforter on the floor by the fireplace, just like the last time they were there. As she turned her head, she saw Shane. He was standing in the middle of the room with two glasses of sparkling grape juice, since Julie’s announcement in the car he knew that she couldn’t have the champagne that he had originally planned on. He was grinning from ear to ear.

“Shane?” What is all of this?” She asked.

“It was a surprise.” He said as he handed her a glass.

“Well, I’m definitely surprised. It is so romantic. Thank you.” She said then kissed him.

“Let’s make a toast. To a wonderful woman and a wonderful evening.”

  “Cheers.”

“Come. Sit. I have dinner in the fridge, and while it’s baking we can have salad.” He told her.

“You brought me all the way up here so you could make me dinner?” She asked.

“I just wanted to have an evening all alone with the woman I love. Is that so bad?”

  “No, not at all.”

“And I wanted to make you dinner. Lasagna.”

  “My favorite.”

After dinner Shane led her over to the fireplace. He sat down on the comforter and Julie sat between his legs and leaned back on him.

“Thank you.” Julie said. “This has been a great evening.” She turned to face him and they kissed.

He loved to hold her and he hated to get up, but he had other things planned. “Julie, would you like more juice?” He smiled.

She nodded and sat up so he could go get it. He was gone a few minutes and when he returned Julie was in for an even bigger surprise. He handed her a dozen long stemmed, red roses. She gasped with delight as she took them from him. He bent down and sat their glasses next to the hearth. Then he stood back up. Julie jumped up and hugged him.

“Thank you. You are just full of surprises, aren’t you?”

“Well, what can I say?” He laughed. “Anything to make you happy.” He leaned down and gently kissed her on the forehead. Then he proceeded to get down on one knee. “Julie, you are not only my best friend, but my lover. I have loved you ever since the first time I laid eyes on you. With you in my life I am truly happy. Without you, I would be lost. You are my lighthouse in the storm. You are my ‘everything.’ I love everything about you.” He paused to look at her. Her eyes were filling up with tears as she realized what the surprise was. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box, he flipped it open to revel a large diamond ring. “Would you make my life complete? Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife? Will you marry me and make us a family, all three of us.” He finished.

Julie started crying, “Yes.” She shook her head, “Yes! A thousand times yes!” She got up and Shane slipped the ring on her finger, and they kissed.

“I love you.” He told her.

“I love you, too. More than words can say.” Julie said.

They stood embraced kissing for what seemed an eternity. Julie knew that this was finally the happy ending she had always wished for, and it was even better than she had ever imagined.
