  Hi Holly,

  I know I’m seeing you soon, but I can’t wait to share the news. You won’t believe it but Luc and I have been approved as foster parents!!! I cried when I read the letter. Luc did too, but don’t tell him I told you that ;-)

  We’ve got an appointment to meet a two-year-old girl called Ana they think would be a good match. I know it’s going to be challenging and probably really tough when we’re given children for temporary placements and have to say goodbye. But who knows, maybe if we do a good job fostering we can re-apply to adopt. We could be recommended internally, the foster-placement social worker said it was a possibility, so we’ll see.

  For now cross your fingers and maybe soon I’ll have a new friend to introduce to Maddie. Give my lovely goddaughter a kiss from me. See you both tomorrow for coffee.
