  "" ""Okay.

  Now, why were you on my land?"" I asked them.

  Cody was the one that spoke up.

  ""I'm pretty sure you already know that.

  Tyler is freaking obsessed with that women.

  He won't shut up about her.

  Frankly, I think this is so stupid.

  "" ""Then why the hell are you trying to take her from me and give Skylar to Tyler?"" I asked pissed.

  ""Because, he promised my beta position back.

  "" Okay, now I'm confused.

  I think he noticed because he sighed and continued.

  ""A couple of years ago this stupid pup challenged me to my position.

  He won, but it was unfair fight.

  He got other wolves to team up on me and I lost.

  I looked over at Tyler who didn't care and he announced that little brat of a pup the beta position.

  I don't get it though.

  We were best friends, I mean like we still are, but he's becoming more distant from me and Jake.

  Jake is Tyler's Third and offered to help with this because he wants me back as beta.

  So I'm only doing this to get my beta position back.

  I don't like some of the stuff I'm doing, but he's alpha.

  So I don't really have a choice but to obey him.

  I don't like Skylar, but I promised him I would get that little brat and he promised my beta position back.

  So we have been trying to find her for years.

  "" I growled at him.

  ""She is not a brat! And you will not talk about my mate in such a manner.

  Questions or not, I will snap your neck if you talk bad about her one more time.

  "" ""Fine.

  Whatever, but Tyler isn't going to stop trying to get her unless she is dead-"" I growled and he stopped.

  ""Let me finish.

  "" I growled again and nodded.

  ""Unless she is dead or he is dead.

  That's the only way.

  He wanted her every since they were little.

  They were each others very first boyfriend and girlfriend.

  He wanted her to be his mate.

  He was gonna forcibly claim her so she wouldn't move with her pack but he didn't see her that day.

  She was always avoiding him because he was abusive.

  "" ""WHAT?!"" I boomed at the top of my lungs.

  He looked down and nodded.

  ""When we both stormed into Jordan's room that day awhile back, he yelled at her.

  It was wrong and I know it, but I had to help him.

  But I really didn't care, I don't like Jordan or Skylar.

  I never have I guess.

  He would always beat her until she agreed but she never did.

  It was stupid for her to say no in the first place.

  She knew what Tyler could have done to her if they were still together.

  "" He paused for a second.

  ""But I will warn you.

  He's planning an ambush soon.

  I don't know when, but that was all he told me.

  But he will stop at nothing to have her.

  He doesn't care if he has to kill anyone or hurt anyone.

  He will even hurt her, he doesn't care as long as he has her.

  So I'd watch out Axel.

  "" I growled and punched the wall.

  Ow that actually hurt.

  I looked down and say my knuckles were bleeding.

  Shit! Skylar isn't going to like this one bit.

  I called the pack doctor out her to look at there injuries and too look at my hand.

  The doctor came in a stitched up my hand then went to look at Jake.

  ""Ya.

  But who knows.

  Tyler might kill you and take your mate away from you.

  I hope your alive so you can watch it all happen.

  It would be quit funny too.

  "" Jake spoke up with an evil grin.

  I felt my eyes turn pitch black and I was in his cell in 5 seconds.

  I moved the doctor out of the way and picked Jake up by his throat.

  ""Shut.

  The.

  Hell.

  Up.

  "" I said in his face.

  He just laughed, so I punched him as hard as I could and he was knocked out cold.

  Great, my stitches broke open.

  Caleb and Mark stood there shaking their heads at me.

  I grunted and turned toward the doctor.

  He sighed and redid my stitches.

  Today is gonna be a long day""¦"

  "Chapter 24: I'm in trouble

  Skylar

  ""So Elyse.

  What movie do you want to watch?"" I asked.

  ""Ummm.

  Oh I got it!"" She replied smiling.

  I know that smile, it's her ""˜I want to watch a scary movie' smile.

  ""ALL OF THE PARANORMAL ACTIVITIES!!"" She yelled at the top of her lungs.

  ""Stephan!!!"" Elyse yelled.

  ""What happened?! Is everyone okay?!"" He growled barging into my room.

  ""Ya everything is fine.

  We need you to please go get us some movies.

  "" I said with puppy dog eyes.

  He sighed.

  He asked us which ones after he was done nodding.

  ""All of the Paranormal Activities.

  "" ""Oh gosh.

  Okay, I'll be back soon.

  "" He sighed and walked out.

  We squealed and made our way downstairs.

  Well right now Elyse, Stephan (ya we invited him hehe), and I are on the 4th one.

  We all stared intensely at the screen of the tv.

  All 3 of us sat on the couch with Stephan in the middle.

  Elyse and I are hiding our faces in Stephan's chest with he is hiding his face in a blanket.

  All of the sudden the door flew open causing all 3 of us to scream, and that also caused the 3 visitors to scream.

  ""What the hell?!"" Axel screams.

  I stop screaming and try to calm my heart that is beating out if my chest.

  ""What was all that about?"" Mark asks trying to do the same.

  ""Oh my gosh! Guys! Don't scare us like that.

  "" Elyse yells at them.

  I stand up and see popcorn everywhere.

  And I mean EVERYWHERE.

  Stephan and Elyse stand up too and look at me.

  I'm pretty sure I just peed myself, that's how scary it was.

  The guys start laughing and Elyse and I just stand there looking shocked.

  Stephan says his goodbyes and walks out of the house.

  Probably to go do patrol or something.

  ""Hey babe.

  You okay?"" Axel says laughing.

  ""Oh bite me.

  "" I shoot back.

  He looks shocked then smirks.

  Oh shit, what did I just do.

  ""Your wish is my command.

  "" Axel says walking towards me.

  He grabs my waist and moves his head to the side.

  I push his face away and he just laughs.

  ""Not literally!"" I yell at him.

  He takes my hand and leads me upstairs.

  Right then, Ryan walks in and heads over to Elyse.

  ""Aww!"" ""Skylar.

  "" Elyse says glaring at me.

  ""Love ya!"" I say winking at her.

  Axel growls and pulls me to him.

  ""Mine.

  "" He says.

  ""Axel.

  It's just Elyse.

  You know I love you.

  "" He smiles.

  ""And I love you too.

  "" He says while pecking my nose.

  AxelI peck her nose and continue walking up the stairs.

  I really do want to bite her mark again.

  Ugh! Bad thoughts, bad thoughts.

  Gah!""˜Hahaha! Is there a problem?' My wolf says laughing at me.

  ""˜Oh shut it, would ya?' I reply back to him. />
  He rolls his eyes at me and stays quiet.

  I set Skylar down on the bed and I go to the bathroom to get ready.

  I walk out of the bathroom and see Skylar laying down staring at the ceiling.

  ""You okay?"" I asked full of concern.

  ""Ya, I'm just thinking.

  "" Was her short reply.

  ""About what?"" ""The questioning today with Cody and the other guy.

  Oh, how was it?"" ""Well.

  "" I said trailing off.

  ""Well?"" ""I will tell you in the morning.

  Lets just go to bed now.

  I'm tired, and you're probably tired.

  Venga.

  "" I open my arms with a smile.

  She scoots closer to me then stops.

  He eyes narrow on my hand.

  Shit! My stitches! I didn't have those when I left this morning.

  ""What are those?"" She asks me pissed and pointing to my stitches.

  ""Umm""¦well you see.

  I kinda uh, got stitches?"" It sounded more like a question.

  ""How?"" ""Well, you see.

  Cody told me something, and I got mad.

  So.

  I kinda punched the wall.

  "" ""Excuse me?!"" She yelled.

  Wow, she got some lungs.

  Where did those come from?""I know it looks bad, but it will be fine.

  I only got stitches, and they are already healing.

  See?"" I said hopeful.

  She glared at me and looked at them.

  ""No more punching things.

  And you are in so much trouble mister"" ""Yes dear.

  "" I said mockingly.

  She looked at me and then slapped the back of my head.

  ""Ow!"" I yelled rubbing the back of my head.

  She laughed.

  ""You deserve it.

  "" ""Oh whatever, just go to bed.

  "" I said.

  I grabbed her waist and pulled her into me.

  She laughed and snuggled closer to my chest with my arm protectively around her waist.

  She sighed in content.

  ""I love you.

  "" I smiled down at her.

  ""I love you too kitten.

  "" And we both fell asleep happily.

  "Chapter 25: Lets talk

  Skylar

  I woke up this morning to find Axel gone.

  He probably had to go do work stuff.

  Today I decided I need to get out of the house.

  I walked around deciding what to do.

  Elyse was still sleeping and and the guards are outside guarding the house.

  Ugh, seriously.

  I walked up to the room that Elyse and I used to sneak out before and opened the window.

  I looked around and saw some guards walking around.

  Hah! They can't see me.

  I climbed the tree and started going down before any of the guards saw me.

  Suckers! I landed on the ground and I winced in pain because of my back.

  I shake it off and head to the lock.

  Axel is hiding something from me and I want to find out.

  I surprisingly made it to the lock without any guards seeing me.

  ¡Dulce! Now I just have to get past the guards guarding the-""Luna? What are you doing here.

  Alpha Axel said you are suppose to be on bed rest.

  "" The guard on the left said.

  ""I know.

  I was just taking a walk.

  "" I replied quickly.

  ""But you are suppose to be on bed rest.

  Alpha said that if we see you, we are suppose to take you back.

  So I'm sorry Luna, but I have to take you back.

  "" ""Axel said I could talk to them.

  "" ""Are you sure? That doesn't seem like alp-""""Are you saying I'm wrong?"" I asked with an eyebrow raised my arms crossed.

  The guard stiffened and looked down.

  ""N-no.

  I'm just saying t-that doesn't sound like h-him.

  "" He said with fear.

  The other guards looked at him with fear as well.

  ""If you're saying that I'm not wrong, then why are you questioning me?"" ""II'm not.

  Sorry L-Luna.

  "" He said and stepped out of my way.

  I smiled and made my way into the lock.

  ""Luna.

  "" One of the guards inside bowed at me.

  ""Please show me where Cody and the other prisoner is at.

  "" He nodded and led the way.

  He stopped in front of 2 cells.

  He bowed his head in respect and walked back to where he was.

  ""Cody.

  "" I said sternly.

  His head snapped up and met my gaze.

  ""Skylar?"" ""What is your name.

  "" I asked to the other guy that they brought in along with Cody.

  ""None of your business.

  "" He replied with a smirk.

  ""Excuse me?!"" My voice boomed throughout the lock.

  They both looked at me in shock, while I myself was in shock.

  Since when did my voice hold so much authority?""Luna.

  Is everything okay?"" A guard asked me while eyeing Cody and the man.

  ""Yes.

  This one wouldn't answer my question.

  "" ""What was your question?"" He asked me.

  ""I asked him what his name was and he replied with none of your business.

  "" I glared at the man while he laughed.

  ""Oh.

  His name is Jake, Luna.

  "" ""Okay.

  Thankyou.

  "" He bowed and left.

  I turned around back to Jake with an evil grin and he just scoffed at me.

  ""So Cody and Jake.

  "" I laughed when he glared at me.

  ""Why did you try to take me away along with Tyler?"" ""Why should we tell you?"" Cody asked amused.

  ""Because if you don't, I won't hesitate to rip you to shreds for hurting me and Elyse.

  Now talk.

  "" ""No can do.

  And you can't kill us.

  "" Jake said with a smirk.

  ""Any why not?"" I asked getting annoyed.

  ""Because Axel wants us alive.

  "" ""And why is that?"" ""Because he needs answers that we can give him.

  So, therefore, you can't kill us.

  "" He said with a smug look.

  I growled out in frustration and he laughed.

  ""What answers?"" ""Oh! He didn't tell you?"" ""Tell me what, Jake?"" I said gripping the bars.

  ""That Tyler is planning to""¦.

  .

  well, I should let Axel tell you.

  But I guess since you don't know, he was probably hiding it from you.

  "" ""What is he planning?"" ""Ask Axel.

  "" Cody said with a smirk.

  I growled in frustration.

  ""Screw you.

  "" I said and walked out.

  ""Luna.

  "" The guards bowed.

  I nodded and walked out.

  I got a couple of feet and I was met with a very angry Axel along with Mark and Caleb.

  ""What were you thinking?! You are suppose to be on bed rest, AND I don't want you talking to the prisoners!"" He yelled at me.

  I glared at him and pushed them aside.

  ""Don't talk to me.

  "" I heard a growl and instantly knew it was Axel.

  ""Skylar, get back here now.

  "" I stopped and turned around.

  ""When were you going to tell me.

  I asked you what you guys were talking about and you said nothing.

  What is Tyler planning, huh?!"" I asked getting really pissed off.

  Axel's body tensed and his eyes went wide.

  ""That's what I thought.

  "" I turned and walked around.

  ""Wait.

  "" ""I'm going home.

  And besides, I'm on bed
rest.

  Remember?"" I said coldly.

  He looked shocked and I walked away.

  I can't believe he didn't tell me.

  Maybe I should just give myself up, it would make everything a whole lot easier.

  And no one would get hurt.

  I need to think of a plan first.

  It might take a couple of days but, it could work.

  ""˜We can't leave Axel.

  Him and the pack needs us.

  ' My wolf whined.

  ""˜Ya but if we stay here, then the pack AND Axel could get hurt because of me.

  I can't let that happen.

  '""˜But they could help us.

  Our pack is the strongest.

  We can fight him.

  '""˜No! That's not an option.

  Tyler's pack is strong too.

  But maybe not as strong as ours, like not even close.

  But still, I can't have anyone get hurt.

  It's the only way Faith.

  '""˜This is a big mistake Skylar.

  Axel won't be very happy, and he could help us and you know it!'""˜I don't care.

  I don't want anyone getting hurt.

  So are you going to help me think of a plan or not?'""˜I don't want to.

  But I don't really have a choice.

  We are saving so many lives if we do it my way.

  We aren't calling for help, they will get hurt.

  And Axel won't get hurt.

  "Chapter 26: Keep quiet

  I got up to my room and laid down on my bed.

  ""˜Skylar.

  Please, I'm sorry.

  ' I heard Axel mind-link me.

  ""˜Just leave me alone right now.

  '""˜Okay.

  ' He sounded disappointed.

  I laid in bed for about 2 hours.

  I got up and headed out the front door because I was bored and my body felt stiff.

  ""Luna.

  You can't-"" a guards started to say.

  ""I don't care.

  Tell Axel when he gets here to suck it.

  "" ""O""¦.

  kay?"" ""Thanks.

  "" I started walking around until I got to a small clearing.

  ""˜Why is he hiding stuff from us?' I asked my wolf.

  ""˜I don't know.

  Maybe he's protecting us.

  '""˜I don't care! We can protect ourselves.

  I hate how he hides things from us.

  We have a right to know.

  This is about us you know!'""˜I know, I know.

  But he's our mate.

  He doesn't care if we can protect ourselves, he's gonna wanna keep us from danger any chance he gets.
