Bully: A High School Bully Romance (The King of Castleton High Book 1)

Hands snaked around my middle and a wide sash with an intricate rhinestone design was tied at my waist. A touch of pink against the ocean of light ethereal fabric.
“Almost,” I heard Mom’s voice murmur from behind me. She gathered my hair up into a quick and messy twist, securing it with a silver comb. She pulled wisps of hair back out to fall around my face. “Borrow my pink chandelier earrings and peep toes and you are ready for the ball, Cindy.” Mom hugged me and we both stared into the mirror.
“Are you sure it’s not… too… sweet sixteen?” I didn’t want to fall out of love with the dress. I wanted to wear it forever and twirl like a little girl in my room dreaming about princes in castles and glass slippers. But, I also didn’t want to show up at homecoming looking like I’d just left my quinceañera.
Mom sighed, playing with the skirt of the dress again. “It’s so beautiful on you, but maybe you’re right. You’re seventeen, not a little girl.”
“Maybe we can find something in this same color?” I smiled at her. “Baby blue’s growing on me.”
Her returning grin was worth admitting I’d been wrong.
We left the store about an hour later, having tried on fifteen other dresses and settling on something that made me feel both sexy and like a princess.

The Wednesday after the lake party.
“Can you hear me?” I spoke quietly, hoping the high-tech intra-ear receiver I’d bought for an exorbitant amount of money would work properly. “Aiden?”
“Yeah, I hear you.” Aiden’s voice came to life. I looked around, seeing if anyone else could hear, but no one in the library turned to look at me. Aiden was seated on the other side of the shelves. We were supposed to get a hundred foot radius; that should be plenty for me to keep my distance.
“Good, I think this will work fine. We’ve got to communicate and be on the same page.”
“Yeah, I get you.” Aiden sounded sullen.
“You having second thoughts about our arrangement?” I kept my voice calm, though I wanted to walk the distance to him and remind him how much money he’d already made, how much money he was going to make in the coming weeks. I wanted to shake a response out of him when the silence lasted too long.
“No. I’m not having second thoughts.”
“Good, then let’s go over this again.” I leaned back in one of the plaid chairs my family donated last semester, closed my eyes, and continued to speak softly. “We’ve got to keep the inconsistencies to a low. I can’t have you showing up with a food delivery again and forgetting Tarryn asked you for space. So, I’ll keep you informed about any interaction I have with her on messenger or social media, though I plan to give her some time on that front. I want to respect her wishes.”
I heard Aiden make a scoffing sound on the other end.
“Something you’d like to say?” When he didn’t respond, I kept talking. “That’s what I thought. Since I won’t be able to talk to her for a while that way, I need a way to get to her. A way to reach her. Continue to build a friendship, talk about the things she’s interested in—I emailed you a list of articles to read as well as a list of her academic accomplishments at her last school. You can talk about your law crap too.”
“It’s not crap, Drake.” Sullen Aiden again.
“Yeah, whatever.” I rolled my neck, cracking it back and forth. “Look, when it feels right, I’ll tell you what to talk about. Stories I want to share with her. I want her to get to know me, see how she responds to things.”
“Drake, I don’t get where this is all going. You’re pushing me towards her, even though I know you’re whole thing is to have her first, because you’re like Genghis Khan and have to conquer every girl you see to unite her into the tribe of ‘got fucked by Castleton’. I just can’t see the end to this. She’s going to hate me when she finds out, and she’s sure as hell going to hate you.”
His words struck a chord. The game was fresh, new, and even I didn’t know how it was going to go. The finish line was a mystery fogged-over by twists and turns I couldn’t anticipate.
Like getting shit-faced drunk and making a fool of myself at the lake party. I couldn’t believe Aiden had driven me home. I’d paid him a grand for that, for going above and beyond our arrangement. And sending those texts afterwards… Turning into such a fucking fool over Tarryn Monroe only made me that much more determined to get my way, to change her mind and make her fucking mine.
“I’ve got a plan,” I lied.
“Whatever,” he mumbled.
“Speak louder than that when you’re talking to her.”
“Whatever,” he said again. “I’m going to class. Don’t you have class too? One with Tarryn? Talk to her yourself.”
“I do,” was all the information I offered. What I didn’t say was that Miss Winters had an affair with a student my freshman year and I’d found out about it. Ever since then, I got a guaranteed A in her class, no attendance required. And when it came to Tarryn… it was still better that she thought Drake Castleton was leaving her alone.
I pulled the earbud out and stood. It was uncomfortable and there wouldn’t be any action until lunch.
No action involving Tarryn at least.
A quarter to ten. Jasmine Phillips, a Senior cheerleader with an ass that couldn’t be natural, had study hall and volunteered in the library when the actual librarian had to take off.
I shouldered my backpack, which was light and nearly-empty, and strolled past chairs and shelves until the check-out desk came into view. The normal librarian had dialysis on Wednesdays. The back book room would be blissfully empty save for musty books.
Jasmine arrived a few moments later, walking behind the counter and shoved her books and binders onto a shelf. Her top was clingy and low cut, riding up her stomach when she moved. Her jeans were the painted-on kind, stretchy and hugging. “Hey, Drake. Got a book to check out.”
“I can’t find the one I’m looking for actually. I need some help.” It was a performance we put on, lines from a play that we never changed, because it was part of the fun.
“Maybe it’s in the back? There’s tons of re-shelving to do. I’ll go look.”
“Want some help?” I leaned towards her, pressing my hands into the counter top and not even trying to be subtle about looking her up and down hungrily.
“That might make things go faster. Sure.” She waved me forward as she moved to open the door behind her. It was solid, save for a small vertical window. The room had good insulation too—at least, we hadn’t been caught yet.
I followed her in, tossing my bag on the ground behind check-out. I turned the knob lock before directing all of my attention to the tall, curvy girl who was every nerd’s library wet dream.
It wasn’t a big room, six by ten with deep rows of shelving from floor to ceiling, but it worked… for our purposes.
Jasmine didn’t wait for me, she never did. She had her top off and her bra unclasped before I’d even unzipped. I pulled myself out, rolling a condom over my already-hard dick, before I pushed her up against the shelves. Our lips met, electricity jumping from two seriously-fucked up power sources.
Lifting her up to sit against one of the shelves—knocking a row of books over in a dull thud—I dipped my head down just enough to suck her right nipple into my mouth. She clawed into my back, her nails running down the thin material of the plain white tee I wore. I rolled my tongue over her breast, feeling the bumps like braille, and then I bit down gently. She arched her back, her ample ass sliding nearly off the shelf. I pushed her back on, holding her hips in place as I switched sides to suck and bite until I thought I was going to cum before I’d gotten to the really good stuff.
I pulled her down to me. She fell against my body, the line of my cock pressing against her pants and then the bare skin of her stomach. She stepped back just far enough to unbutton and unzip while I rubbed up and down my shaft in anticipation. “Isn’t it my turn to suck,” she pushed he
r pants down her legs and stepped out of them, once again coming close enough to press against my body. “Doesn’t seem fair,” her hand lowered and she traced her index finger across the very end of my dick. It sent a thrill through me, even though I was already wearing protection.
“Next time. Promise,” I breathed, turning her around and pushing her upper body down. She obliged, angling towards the bookshelves and holding on. I shoved into her slowly, inch by inch. When I thought I’d gone as far as I could go, I pushed into her even harder, stealing another fraction of depth and making her moan. Then I pulled out, even slower than I’d pushed in. She was wet, but not as wet as I wanted her. I didn’t want her to dry out on me.
I wanted a good long fuck. I wanted the release. I didn’t want to think about the situation I’d created… or that Aiden was right. Tarryn was going to hate me for what I was doing.
I wanted to fuck and forget.
When I was fully out of her pussy, I teased her opening, pressing the end of my dick into it, but not entering. Each time I lifted my cock away, she protested. She tried to reach back and guide me into her, but I slapped her hand away. I didn’t fuck her again until she begged me to, but even then, I pushed in slowly, inch by fucking inch, while she squirmed.
Not until she was soaked, dripping down her damn legs, did I switch to high gear. I listened to her gasps as I slammed into her, as hard and as fast as I could. Her ass cheeks slapped together with the movement and I leaned forward to reach around her body and squeeze her breasts.
“Fuck, Drake,” she moaned out, taking one hand off the bookshelf to cover her mouth and muffle her cries. “We’re…we’re going to get caught.”
“I don’t fucking care,” I growled, pinching her nipples hard enough for her to whimper, the sound loud even though she tried to muffle it. I pulled out of her without warning and held onto her breasts as I lifted her to a standing position. I let her go and ripped the condom off. She turned around, stumbling a little, her hair a wild mess. “Let’s not wait for next time,” I said, gripping her by the shoulders and pushing her to her knees.
Her lips closed around my cock and she pushed her mouth to the base of my shaft. She kept herself there, making a choking sound as she struggled to hold all of me in her mouth. I ran my fingers through her hair then and encouraged her to move. She sucked me in and out, one of her hands playing with my balls, cupping them and squeezing gently. She didn’t play the slow game with me. She moved rhythmically, her tongue dancing against my skin, her lips sliding up and down. When she stopped to get some air, her other hand gripped my cock firmly. Her thumb was on the underside, pressing into a spot that made me close my eyes and lean against the bookshelf behind me.
“Aren’t you glad we didn’t wait for next time,” she said throatily, her hands moving together and bringing me to the very fucking edge. “Is this what you want?” she continued. “Cum all over my tits? Send me out of here looking like a whore?” She kept stroking me, squeezing my balls.
“Fuck, fuck you got to stop.” I opened my eyes and looked down at her. “There’s nothing to clean you up with.”
“I want you to cum, Drake. I want you to let go of the control you always have to have.” Her hands kept working and I was losing it. I was losing it, just like I was losing everything else in my fucking life.
“No,” I said angrily. “I’m in charge.”
“Let go, Drake. Just fucking enjoy it,” she murmured, dipping her head down to lick the precum from the end of my cock. I was so close. So fucking close.
“No.” I pushed her hands away and I dropped to my knees in front of her. “I’m in charge,” I repeated, reaching down and grabbing her pussy with my hand. “I say when I cum and fucking how.”
“Then fuck me and show me who’s boss, Drake,” she challenged, wrapping her arms around my neck and climbing onto my body. Her mouth moved to my ear and she nibbled at the lobe, and then said a second time— “Show me who’s boss.”
Clawing into her ass, I lifted her up. Her hand went down at the same time and gripped my dick to guide it into her pussy. I lowered her down, and it felt even deeper than before. Like I was hitting every part of her, filling every part of her. She shivered against me as we moved together. As I lifted her faster, my body working into a frenzy, I realized I’d taken the condom off. “Shit,” I groaned. “Shit.”
“What?” Her words came in little gasps. She was hot and tight and soaking into the pants I still wore. “What’s wrong?”
“Condom,” I managed to push the word out.
“Shit,” she moaned. I lifted her off and pushed her down to the carpeted floor. Jasmine’s hand went to her clit and she began rubbing, trying to hold onto the high we’d just abandoned. It took me precious seconds to yank out a new condom and put it on. Jasmine had her right hand against her face, her left hand working furiously. “Hurry, Drake. I’m so fucking close.”
I pushed between her legs and shoved into her. This time when she cried out, I had no doubt that everyone in the library knew what we were doing. God help us if any teachers were nearby. But none of that mattered while I fucked her into oblivion. I knew the second she was about to orgasm. Her free hand slammed over her mouth and her ass lifted off the floor while she worked her clit. I held her hips in the air, pushing into her while she rode the wave.
And then it was my turn, as Jasmine went for a second round, rubbing and moaning and trying not to be loud. The second time, we came together, our bodies shaking.
Who needed love when there was sex?
Who needed to be given freedom when you had the means to take control?
Not. Fucking. Me.

Three days before Homecoming…
“I don’t feel right about this, Drake.”
“Tell that to the more than ten thousand dollars you’ve made off me, Aiden.” I was standing a row of lockers. Aiden was on the opposite end of the hall, waiting for Tarryn to come out of the girls’ room.
“It wasn’t a big deal in the beginning. I like Tarryn. Being friends with her is easy. I don’t know if I can keep manipulating her. She’s a good person.”
“I know she’s a good person, Aiden. That’s the fucking point.” Over the last weeks, I’d gotten to know more about Tarryn through her talks with Aiden—and thusly, me on the other end of the microphone. “We’re almost at the finish line, Superman, don’t screw it up now.”
“I want to tell her the truth,” Aiden persisted.
“You fucking do that and I want every dollar of my money back.”
“I can’t give you the money back. I need that money for—”
“Then I suggest you don’t break our deal.” I growled as the connection crackled. “Now here she comes, put your game face on.”
I watched the door to the bathroom swing closed behind Tarryn. She was wearing her torn jeans again, the ones that exposed both knees and squares of skin higher up on her thighs. The deep forest green sweater she wore had become a favorite of mine; I loved the way it contrasted against her skin, the way it hung loosely off one shoulder. She had her hair curled and up in a high ponytail. It swung against the back of her neck, a metronome counting the way my heartbeat when I was near her. Even at this distance, I felt an irregularity in the chest. A beat. A stop. A beat.
“Welcome back.” I heard Aiden’s voice, charming and disarming.
“Ha,” she laughed out, her voice wasn’t as clear as Aiden’s—too much distance to the microphone, but I heard her. I loved the tone of her voice; it wasn’t as high-pitched as some girls, not too deep either. It hovered in a warm neutral zone. “Girls don’t take that long in the bathroom.”
“Yes, they do. We’ve had this conversation.” Aiden teased. He didn’t try to hold her hand or touch her. I’d instructed him not to. He was to keep things casual and friendly; I didn’t want him to scare her off by acting too touchy-feely simply because she’d agreed to a dance.
That wasn’t the entire reason though.
> I just didn’t want him touching her.
“Come on, we’re going to be late for Calculus.” Tarryn tugged gently on Aiden’s shirt sleeve, and even that gave me a pang of jealousy. I had to keep myself from bolting forward and shoving myself in between them. This game didn’t feel so fun anymore. In fact, I’d come to loathe it.
They walked together and I followed far enough behind that I could speak to Aiden quietly and not have Tarryn hear.
“Ask her if she read the article ‘A World without Oil’ on Science Mag. I think it’ll be right up her alley.” Science wasn’t Aiden’s favorite topic, but I’d seen the way Tarryn’s eyes ignited when she talked about advancements in science, renewable energy, and things of that ilk. If I left things to Aiden, he’d talk obsessively about the law and his career dreams.
Aiden hesitated, but then followed my lead. The system had been working pretty well. “Hey, any chance you hopped on Science Mag this week?”
“No,” she smiled at him, “but there was this great article about climate change on Nature.”
“Well, hit up Science Mag. I think you’ll love this article.”
“I will,” she said.
They paused at the door to Calculus, so I stopped walking and hung back. Tarryn barely noticed me anymore… which worked well for my purposes, but it also… Fuck, I could admit that it depressed me. I’d wanted her wrath. I’d wanted to play this game until I’d reached my fucking satisfaction. Yet, all I got from this shit was growing malcontent.
“Aiden, thanks for not being all… weird after I said yes to the dance. I was worried it would push us back into relationship hyperdrive, but you’ve been amazing.”
“Say: I don’t want to ruin this again,” I fed Aiden his response. “I really like you, Tarryn. You’re different than the other girls.” He repeated my words.
