The breath caught in my lungs. He leaned toward me. I could feel his breath. Very close to my lips. I wish I could touch it. My eyes danced between his lips and his eyes. My heart was racing.

  - Do not do this to me - begged whispering.

  - I will not do. Only when you ask - the existence of their crooked and perfect smile made me want to sink into the car seat and almost give myself to orgasm insisted want to happen. - And I'll get the answer to my question. You can not escape.

He raised his hand to touch me. I got to sigh with the possibility, but along the way, his hand turned and opened my door.

  - Do you need to go now. I have an important dinner tonight. We'll see tomorrow.

I got off the car and walked away without looking back. I needed my shower. Urgently.

  ***

The next day just went out of me all expectations. Early on, Mr. Carter called warning that it would not attend. He asked me to send by email a copy of some contracts, all from the same company and told me he did not know when or if arrive. I had to make some calls unchecking the commitments that morning.

I had lunch with Nicole and Alexa, as he did when Mr. Carter was not. Our friendship was growing, moreover, felt right beside them.

Mr. Hanson arrived almost at the end of our lunch and Nicole had to leave us. I was with Alexa talking about the company gossip. The whole time I was trying to cheer me up by being Friday, or would my meeting with Dean. Unfortunately, after what happened I could no longer feel so excited. Still had our trip to Greece, would happen on Monday. I was eager and anxious, and fearful.

Mr. Carter returned later in the day with Mrs. Tanya. The girlfriend. They greeted me politely as my heart sank at the thought of how much I was stupid and vulnerable. Nicole was right. They were just living a bad phase, and I was just a moment in his life.

I needed Dean to bring me back to reality.

I left the office before them and went running home to get me. All my anxiety to put my life on track evaporated when Dean called warned it had failed to return. My plans were dashed. And my night was lost.

  CHAPTER 10

I walked down the narrow street wet that led me to O'Hare International Airport. The taxi had left me a bit far from my entry due to slow traffic. The fine rain bothered more than any other day. I was tired. Sleeping with the expectation of the next day it was shit. I needed to put my head in place to make that first trip next to him or else all was lost.

My anguish was so great that not even stopped to look at the shops or airport architecture that both fascinated me. I walked hastily to embark soon. It was incredible and absurd, but I was almost late and knew that Mr. Carter would not forgive me.

Never before had traveled in a private plane, then I lost myself in almost everything he had to do, which formalized my delay. When I was finally sent to the aircraft, Mr Carter was waiting impatient. His reproachful look was enough to make me embarrassed and afraid.

  - Good morning - I greeted the commissioner, who helped me with luggage taking me to one of the cozy armchairs that composed the site.

It was unbelievable that a decoration like that would fit inside a small plane. I made sure not to stare at all. This attitude certainly would be filed by Mr. Carter to later be used against me.

  - Good morning, Mr. Carter - did not look in his direction. I was afraid.

  - Good morning, Miss. Simon. Problems with the alarm clock? - He did not look up from the newspaper he was reading.

The commissioner smiled and left. She was very pretty. Brunette, short hair, face like a painting as well as an amazing body. I do not know if it was the typical attitude of the stewardesses or uniform, but to me it looked like the kind of woman that men find sexy. And most likely Robert considered her sexy. I stopped to admire her keeping me busy with the chair. If she closed her eyes could sleep until we get there

The plane taxied and soon after we were in the air. During takeoff we did not talk or look at each other. Mr. Carter was still absorbed in his paper. I closed my eyes forcing me to remain so until we reach our destination. Which, of course, it would be impossible.

I was developing an almost unhealthy relationship with Mr. Carter. I did not want him, or rather desperately wanted not want. However it bothered me deeply when he showed interest. Confused. What was happening to me? "Certainly when this stage was over I need to treat me to a psychologist."

  - Sleepy? - His voice hit me with everything.

I could not help the smile that formed on my lips. It was good to have his attention, even knowing how it was humiliating for me.

-. Not only I do not want to hurt him - turned toward him and found him smiling at me.

  - How was your night? - Ai, God! No! He would not start with it.

  - Quiet - I was careful.

  - This is the answer to my question? - I frowned. As well? - About your sex life - holy shit! Do not.

  - I will answer you, Mr. Carter. Give yourself satisfied with what you already know - I went back to my starting position and closed my eyes.

  - I think so - laughed mockingly.

What was he suggesting? That my sex life was quiet? I had not an attractive sexual life or at least interesting? Who did he think he was? My jaw protruded upward, as always when I felt challenged. That only further encouraged. I heard her laugh and I was indignant. But the Commissioner returned to serve you a glass of whiskey.

  - Miss you want something? - I looked it now hating the fact that she is really sexy.

  - Water. Thank you!

She left, but returned quickly bringing me a glass of water.

I sipped slowly. Mr. Carter did not speak again for a long period. I was curious and turned to watch him. He was with the computer on the front, leaning on a table that was attached to the arms of his chair. What practical!

I began to feel useless, sitting in my chair with nothing to do. Mr. Carter had not asked me anything. No documentation had been taken and I did not even know the meeting reason, only that it should be there. Nor had the right to think it was more a way of him holding me in his game, since the appointment was scheduled prior to my arrival to the company and was Abby who participate it.

Moreover, he had said that if I was not welcome to participate, Alexa could replace me. I certainly had nothing to fear, let alone what you want.

I looked out the small window as seen with only the clouds a little below. I did not know what kind of business could be treated in Greece. Not for a group with C & H Medical Systems, however Mr. Carter had made it clear that it was an informal meeting. Surely it was something he would not want it disclosed or discovered.

I shuddered thinking of what kind of shady business he might be stuck. I was surprised to find that evil side and his dangerous attract me more than usual. Reproached me. Certainly it was not what I was thinking. C & H Medical Systems was known for his integrity and security. Also I did not think that Mr. Carter put everything to lose with shady business. I relaxed a little more.

  - MS. Simon, once we get to our destination I want contact Nicole and request a complete list of our employees. Point out that want the entire group and that no employee should be left out.

I nodded admiring his CEO position, so perfect and intimidating. I remembered how much I was scared on my first day, when he unloaded on me with all his strength, his personality. I had, then in my early days, a demonstration of what would be the man Robert and Robert CEO. I sighed.

The journey would be long. With a difference of 8 hours between one city and another I do not know how we would be when we got. Only we knew that would come to Athens. I was very anxious. I was fascinated by ancient history and Athens was in my Top List. The only information I had was that we would not stay in a hotel but in a house.

  - Sorry to ask, Mr. Carter - he gave me a questioning look.

  - Do not...

  - OK! - Interrupted. - I can not apologize - he gave me a simple smile while waiting for me. - What kind of business do you close in Greece? I ca
n not imagine how a place whose strength is tourism can be significant for a group that works with products for medicine - smiled even more.

  - Missy is very insightful - looked away from mine. - But Greece is part of the European Union, its workforce is a productive and even facing an economic crisis we can find something interesting in it.

  - What kind?

  - We will not close the deal with a group related to Greece, only chose the venue because it is a confidential matter - the silence fell between us. He did not say anything, so I lost the courage to ask anything else. It was not my problem.

It would be complicated spend 10 hours on a flight without talk directly. Theoretically desembarcaríamos in Athens with the day ending in Chicago, but with the difference of 8 hours, arrive at our destination even in the morning. It would be exhausting.

  - Do not worry, Miss. Simon. Their role is not very significant at this meeting, as Miss can not actively participate in it. As I said, the matter is confidential. Also it will not be just like living ornament, though it would be a beautiful ornament - my face turned red. I just did not know if embarrassment or anger. I hated that my professional qualities were overshadowed by the sexual interest of people like Mr. Carter.

  - I could do it alone then.

  - Could. But I did not want to miss this opportunity - I was no reaction.

He was assuming that there was an interest even beyond the professional to include me on that trip?

  - On the other hand ... - he continued as if he had not said anything. - I really need Miss these days.

  - Could you then tell me what I do until I got to Athens? It's ten hours of flight, and not knowing how I can collaborate'll end up freaking out here.

I should not have spoken like that, but Mr Carter was really trying to make me lose my patience. I confirmed this thought when he looked at me and laughed. Damn it! It could only be some kind of psychopath who had decided to ruin my life and especially with my mental health.

  - Really. It will be a long journey. But I can find a way to entertain you.

The way his smile was designed and how their eyes burned me, do not let any doubt existed. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

Guerrilhei internally between giving to its charms, as I had given the night that he called me, or ignore it, since it could not just open the door and go. I chose to ignore it. It would be the right thing to do. I put my head on the back of the chair back to close your eyes.

  - We could return to our conversation - I kept ignoring him. - You have not told me why he was so embarrassed when I asked you about your bed - did not answer. - I already know that your bed is comfortable and I know how you react when you're with me on it, even if only in thought or phone.

Widened eyes staring at him in disbelief that conversation.

  - Just do not know why that makes you so embarrassed.

  - My God! Mr. Carter, what you want with all this? - I was indignant. - I do not think ...

  - Melissa ... - he designed the body forward leaning his elbows on the small portable table and looked at me with narrowed eyes. - I plan many things ... But is not the point now.

  - This is not normal - I said more to myself than to him.

  - Of course it's normal. A man may feel desire for a woman, especially when the woman is completely desirable - felt an immense shudder ran through my body. My God! What would it be?

  - You often feel desire for their desks? This is what? A kind of fetish? - He laughed out loud, but did not answer. I rolled my eyes at him.

Shortly after the Commissioner went back into the cabin checking if we needed anything. I saw that Mr. Carter asked for a drink, which, by the way he spoke, figured to be some kind of wine or champagne and two glasses. I closed my eyes in disbelief that beberíamos during the trip.

When the stewardess came back with the threaded drink in an ice bucket and two glasses for champagne, I was even more intrigued. Mr. Carter dismissed his services to open it. As soon as she came out he put the portable table beside rising to serve the drinks. I watched admired the lightness of their movements in order to open the bottle. It was not a complicated task, but he performed with such mastery that made me interested.

  - Drink - ordered handing me a glass. - Will leave you more relaxed.

Ri unwillingly to the relaxed way he certainly would make me stay. I crossed my arms on my body preventing me from taking a drink from his hand.

  - Melissa! - Caught my attention as a parent. - We will spend ten hours locked here and we will still face any problems with the time zone. Drinking will help her.

Even reluctantly took the drink from her hand and saw him tilt the bowl towards me in a brief toast. I turned the cup carefully to prove what was being offered to me. It was good. In fact, it was very good. I took a sip a little larger than the first.

  - Like? - Remained standing in front of me.

  - I think so - he laughed.

  - I like your sense of humor - do not know where he found it. I was being sadistic and not humored. - Enjoy the drink - Mr. Carter turned the chair that was in front of me for me and sat on it. - Been in Greece before?

  - No - I drank some more.

  - Been out of the country before?

  - Yes - I have found favor their curiosity about me. I decided not to reveal so easily my life for him.

My boss kept waiting for my answer. His eyes do not leave me. Drank once more the contents of my cup. Mr. Carter raised back to the bottle to fill it again.

  - Oh no, Mr. Carter! I'm like that - tried to stop him, but in vain.

  - We are alone, Melissa. No need to worry about anything. Before we get the effect of the drink is past - put the bottle in the bucket. He turned to me and then hesitated. He returned to the bucket solving bring it to where we were, putting it on the floor, the front of his chair. I drank another long sip. It was really delicious to drink and I needed an extra dose not feel so intimidated by their presence.

  - Still do not think it's convenient - he smiled perfect and charming way.

  - Lately I have felt an irresistible attraction that is not convenient - announced.

  - Must be some kind of age-related crisis - he looked at me funny. I tried to stay serious, but it was impossible. He was right. The drink served to make me more relaxed.

  - Tell us a little about yourself - ordered. It was not a request.

  - No.

  - No? - His eyebrow arched and I went back to laugh. - I think I should force her to drink a little more - I did not react when I saw him pouring a little drink in my cup that was not empty. - Now talk.

  - What can be so interesting in my life so that you have as much curiosity?

  - Dismiss the formalities, Melissa. Now talk - again its CEO tone was present. I took a long drink, then saw me talking.

  - I'm 24, I live alone. I came to Chicago when I was approved at the University and I'm here since.

  - Your parents...

  - Are separated. They live in California.

  - Why they break up?

  - This is a story that belongs to them. I have permission to speak only of my life - he smiled nodding.

  - It's fair.

  - Is that you? - Up to serve our glasses.

  - I have 36 years, I'm CEO of C & H Medical Systems and I am at this moment talking casually with a lovely woman - I was surprised by its ability to evade direct questions. Why so much mystery about your life?

  - OK! - I was in silence sipping, looking at the sky that stretched beyond my tiny window.

  - So ... What do you like to do in your free time? In addition to sex on the phone with your boss, of course - almost choked on the words. He gave a chuckle. - Sorry, I could not resist - continued laughing.

  - Do not apologize - he returned to the same order he had made a point of giving me.

  - Fair. Fair enough - merely respond.

  - That's ... so ... - sought the right word as he reveled in my embarrassment. - Nonsense.

  - IT IS. Yes it is -
agreed to get back seriously. More change of mood. It was too confusing for me.

I picked up my glass and drank it in one gulp. Mr. Carter lifted the bottle to serve me a little more. This time eased things for him taking it half way. It was better to sleep drunk than to continue with that embarrassing conversation.

  - So, what you do in your free time? - I narrowed my eyes at him and immediately saw him laugh.

  - Respiro - I replied dryly.

  - I wish I could do this - it was my turn to be curious. He got it. - From breathe sometimes. It's good - clarified. I did not know if he spoke with regret or desire.

This was the typical case of the mysterious and enigmatic man that any woman would fall to his knees at his feet. I understood immediately that Mr. Carter was a very private man when it came to it, which made me even more curious about him. There was something beyond what he could demonstrate, or wanted to show. There was something very well hidden within it. Something deep, complex, painful and scary. Our eyes were stuck on each other for too long. He knew I was trying to see beyond the curtain that concealed his true self. It made him uneasy.

  - I think I drank enough - up reaching out for me. - Let - ordered again and I found myself again, obeying without protest.

Mr. Carter held firmly in my hand. I felt my whole body received endless lightning. His big, warm hand enveloped mine with such security and certainty that I did not have to feel uncomfortable with the feeling. I would go with him wherever he went since he kept his hands on me.

We walked the existing seats in that part of the aircraft through a door that was previously closed. Soon after there was a narrow hallway with five doors. Two on each side and a front. He led me to that firm steps that lay ahead. Without looking back at any time, he opened the door giving me passage.

I went into a full double room. There was a bed, cushions and pillows, a small study table with two office chairs that looked comfortable, a rug at the foot of the bed and curtains covering the small windows. I felt my floor missing. What he was up to when he brought me there? I took a deep breath. Flee or stay?
