Ruby was glad he held her hand. Otherwise, she feared she would float away. “Will we have our honeymoon in the treehouse?”

“I already cleared it. Is that a yes?”

She nodded, then forced her answer out through both laughter and tears. “Yes. Yes.” She repeated the words over and over, but they didn’t become nonsense the more she said them. They became music, a song they would sing and write together, line by line, every day of their lives.

Ruby pulled him toward the treehouse. Josh didn’t resist. “What are you up to?”

She smiled over her shoulder. “I think we need to practice for our honeymoon.”

  That afternoon, practice made perfect.

  Author’s Note

Hi! Thanks for joining me on my first visit to Camp Firefly Falls. If you’re a new-to-me reader…well, yay! I’m glad you’re here.

I’ve also written the odd-numbered books in the Lost Coast Harbor series. To hear about my other upcoming projects and new releases, please subscribe to my mailing list.

If you enjoyed Josh and Ruby’s story, check out my other books—but I should warn you, the world of Lost Coast Harbor has a few more edges than this book does! It’s a town full of secrets, intrigue, and very hot men—and the first book is currently *free*.

  About the Author

Lily Danes is a native Californian who loves cold weather, snow, and rain. A recovering city girl, she now lives in the Sierra Nevadas, where she gardens, knits, herds cats, and plans DIY projects she's too lazy to complete. She has few practical skills and would be absolutely useless in the zombie apocalypse.
