Sector Eight: This is the last outer sector before the country side. Without a special sector pass, issued by the Militia, no one can gain exception to cross through the gates. Special permission is needed in order to breach the country side, better known as in-country.
Seer, The
The Seer is one person who is able to see into the future, alternate present, and past of all people. The side which controls the Seer is said to be the side who wins the war and who controls the New World Order. Cain Madison is the authority over the Seer, and has been in charge of their training and governance for three centuries.

Senate, The
The Senate is known for its political factions. Where the Council finishes with its governance over philosophical and religious issues pertaining to its community, the Senate begins. Prior to the Senate construction, the Council had power over all matters, but in 1782 the Senate came into power in hope of moderating the one autocratic Council body. In 1902 the Senate was given an additional vote in the Council, and in 2001, the Senate was given a third vote, essentially “declawing” the Council altogether. See also Council, The.
Sentry, The
The guard posts on the north, south, east and west points of the sector limits. Entry through a Sentry can only occur with the correct Sector Pass in possession.
Shape-shifter
Shape-shifting is the least common ability possessed by a watcher, where they have the power to shift into another form quickly. Most watchers can only shift into a former state of themselves, being from child-like to current age. Very few can take form of animals, and other creatures.
See also Abilities.
Succubus
Like the incubus, the succubus is a highly attractive
seductress, where once they took form in dreams, this demon is now able to form as a solid entity who seduces men through sexual intrigue. They are blood drinkers and drain men of blood following intercourse. Their male counterpart is the incubus. See also Club Star; Incubus.
T
Tarisos Madison
Also known as “Taris” or “Taz”. Tarisos is the Militia Commander for Camp 4.5.2, and Camp 2.2.1. He is in charge of bringing in the Seer, and for the reprogramming agenda. He is also well known for his cruelty to women and his lack of patience for anyone who disrespects him. Tarisos is cousin to Cain and Bastiaan Madison, and is a member of the Senate.

Tulpas
Tulpas is the inner watcher that displays when a watcher changes to their preternatural self, without hiding. It’s an emotional state of being, with the common trait of their eyes turning black as their senses heighten. See also, Pounce Trait; Watcher.
Tunnels, The
A network of tunnels runs throughout the
underground of the city sectors. Most tunnels are sealed by a cave-in, or by the Militia; with some locations still unknown. The better known ones are under Sector One Central Command, which is sealed off from the public. These are used specifically for detaining norms after initial processing, before they are sent to a camp for reprogramming or extermination.
V
Visions
Visions are classified as a foretelling of the future, or pre-sight into the present or past. Only those with Seer abilities have the gift of vision. It is said the one who has the Seer is the one who controls the war, and the future, hence the reason Julianna Rae is sought after.

W
Walkers
The walker is blessed with a long life, minimal aging and strength. Even the watcher is fearful of an angry walker. The walker stems from the gladiator bloodlines of the ancient world. There are few full-blood walkers left due to breeding with normals.
Watchers
The watcher is the known serpent of the preternatural world: cunning, charming, intelligent, and hypnotic, with more abilities than any other preternatural in existence. The watcher is the “King of the jungle” with only the walker to match in power, and cunning. Watch a room full of people turn silent, as the watcher enters in confidence. They are the creature to be feared, but revered. The watcher clans hold the majority of seats in the Ancients High Order, four on the Senate, and six on the Council, giving them a huge sway over votes on all matter of issue. The watcher is also known for their dark humor, they’re the preternatural class clown, but their humor is usually at the expense of an unfortunate other.

Whisper
The whisper is the most common of all ability of a watcher, where they have the ability to implant their own thoughts into another’s mind. It is a common way for a watcher to communicate with their own, by whispering to the other in their mind, so others cannot eavesdrop. See also Abilities.
About the Author
For the moment, I live on some acreage in a small farmhouse near Ballarat, not far from where I grew up. I grew up in a rough neighborhood, with not much chance of succeeding in life. The odds were mounted against me. If you read my blog, I have a dedication to the person who lifted me away from those odds, to show me that dreams can become a reality if you believe in them enough and work hard. That is the key: perseverance and old fashioned work. When I’m not writing, you can find me immersed in music and photography. You can follow me online just about anywhere, and I will always welcome you with open words, and a huge smiley face.
Thank you for reading my books, I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey into the city sectors as much as I.
