Stolen By The Sheikh (Interracial Romance)

She spat and crossed her arms. “I see. We have very different ideas about what it means to be a modern man.”
Abdul stared at her in complete bewilderment. What more could she possibly want? He was only going to keep her safe from the prying eyes of lascivious men. Otherwise, she would have complete autonomy. There could be no more liberal a man in all of Saudi Arabia! He wanted to make her see this, but he also didn’t want to argue with her. Eventually, he would get her to see things his way, but first he needed to make peace with her. He desperately wanted her to like him.
Ignoring her comment, he glanced up at the TV. He said, “You like TV? I noticed you were watching it earlier, too.”
She sighed, “Usually I like it well enough, but there’s really nothing to watch here. Only one station in English, and none of the shows I would normally watch. It seems to be very heavily censored. I only have it on because I have nothing else to do.”
With a flourish, the Sheikh gestured to the shopping bags. He looked quite proud of himself as he said, “I thought you might be bored! I wasn’t sure about your interests, so I tried to select a wide variety of interesting things. I figured that you can keep whatever you like, and if any of it isn’t to your liking just stick it in a bag and I’ll give it to the servants to take home to their families.”
Dani thanked him, but her jaw was still rigidly set. He smiled softly at her. She was so beautiful, and despite her hostility towards him, he secretly admired her fire. He knew that women were supposed to be obedient, and he did expect that she would learn her place, but he also wanted her to keep her spirit. How could he have it both ways? He’d have to figure it out. He glanced at his watch and realized that he was running late for a meeting.
“I have to run. Dani, please enjoy your gifts. I’ll be back this evening to check in on you.”
And with that, he was gone, and once again, Dani was alone in her room. As she went through the bags, she was astonished by the amount of money the Sheikh must have spent. One bag was filled to the brim with books in English. Another bag was filled with skeins of yarn, knitting needles, crochet books, and how-to books. A third contained all kinds of supplies for paper crafts. There was a Nintendo 3DS with a dozen games, an Arabic language course with CDs and workbooks, a journal, pens, pencils, pads of drawing and watercolor paper, sets of paints, charcoals, and pastels, and a small tabletop easel. She might be lonely, but she certainly couldn’t complain of having nothing to do now. The choices were so overwhelming that now her only issue was decided what to do first.
She settled in with the “Learn How to Knit” book and spent the next few hours deeply immersed in doing and undoing her first crooked, imperfect rows. By the time the sun was setting, she had a tiny square that was finally satisfactory, and was feeling quite pleased with her efforts.
While knitting thoughts of her father tore her apart. She missed him dearly, and still was unsure what happened to him the day she was taken. Had he survived? Would she ever see him again? Surely he must have, and surely he would come rescue her from this prison. Or maybe not. Maybe no one knew where she was. She was so unsure.
Chapter 6
She was contemplating what to order for dinner when a tapping at the door alerted her to Sheikh Abdul’s return.
This time, he came bearing another sort of gift. Dani’s eyes went wide when she spotted the familiar paper bags. “McDonald’s! There’s a McDonald’s here?”
He grinned, “Indeed. It is so close that you can have McDonald’s every day if you wish. I thought about asking you what you wanted before I left, but then I decided it might be a nice surprise. Next time, you can choose.”
He placed the bags on the table and pulled up a chair. It was clear that this time he was not planning to leave while she ate, and Dani was so delighted by the surprise of American fast food, that she decided to let it slide. She dug into the Big Mac and crispy, golden fries. Abdul noticed that she didn’t hesitate to eat in front of him this time, and he felt certain that this was a sign of progress. He opened his own meal, and took a small, polite bite.
Eyeing his food, Dani took a long swig of Coke, then said, “Whoa! What is that? I’m pretty sure that’s not on the menu at American McDonald’s!”
Abdul glanced at his sandwich, politely finishing his bite before responding. “I hadn’t thought of it, but probably not. It’s called the McArabia Chicken.”
Dani laughed, “Oh. Well, it looks good. Once in Japan I had this sandwich called a Hot Gold Masala. It was a chicken sandwich with curry sauce. It was kind of weird, but kind of good, too.”
The Sheikh grinned and tore off a bite of his sandwich, offering it to her. To his surprise, she took it without hesitation and popped it into her mouth. “Not bad!”
Noticing the knitting on the bed, Abdul said, “What are you making?”
Dani shrugged, “To be honest, I have no idea. I’ve never knitted anything before in my life, so at the moment I’m knitting a square. Eventually I’ll try to make sweaters and socks, but I guess that for my first time I should stick with something easier, like a scarf or a blanket.”
To both of their surprise, the conversation flowed, smooth and friendly, throughout dinner. As they finished their sandwiches and fries, Abdul pulled out two crispy apple pies, but Dani groaned, “Oh, I’m stuffed. I think I’ll explode if I take one more bite.”
Abdul shrugged and smiled, “You’re sure? OK, more for me,” and polished both of them off in a few bites.
Dani was astounded by the way the Sheikh put away food. It reminded her of the way the guys on her high school’s football team used to eat. Extraordinary quantities in record time. As he finished his last bite, he asked her what she planned to do with the rest of her evening.
“I know it’s not that late, but I’m pretty tired. I think I’ll just read a book and go to sleep.”
The Sheikh said, “If you’re tired, I should go. Thank you for having dinner with me. It was a treat to have your company.”
As he stood to go, he leaned over her, and for a moment Dani was afraid that he was going to try to kiss her. Instead, he gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze and left. This respectful and gentlemanly choice left Dani filled with internal conflict. On the one hand, she had seen his dark side, and it was atrocious. On the other, he was going out of his way to be truly kind to her, and she didn’t think he was faking it in order to trick her. She couldn’t reconcile these two separate truths, and she felt queasy trying to make sense of it.
She curled up in bed with a novel and tried to take stop thinking about the Sheikh. It worked while she was awake, but when she drifted off to sleep, he infiltrated her dreams. Throughout the night, she flitted back and forth between nightmares of being taken from her father’s home at gunpoint and erotic dreams in which the Sheikh pleasured her beyond anything she had ever imagined.
The next morning, Dani felt groggy and disoriented. She had fuzzy recollections of the dreams, and she grabbed her new journal and a pen from the bedside table. She quickly scrawled, My second full day in the palace begins. Last night I had dinner with my captor, and it was so confusing. He was so friendly and easy to be with. But he kidnapped me! How can I like him? That’s sick. And yet, I’m here for the foreseeable future. I don’t know when my father will come back for me. I could be here for the rest of my life. Wouldn’t it be easier to let myself like him? Or maybe that’s just giving up. I don’t know. I feel like I don’t know anything anymore.
Soon after, the Sheikh appeared with breakfast. As they ate, Dani worked up the courage to ask about how long she would be confined to her room. He chewed slowly, contemplating her question. “A lot of that depends upon you. Of course, it’s not like I’m going to take you to the market or out to dinner right away. We’ll start slowly, and see how it goes. What would you like to do?”
Dani gazed out the window. “That’s Ok. I don’t need to go anywhere. I was just thinking it might be nice to go swimming. I’d like to get some fresh air and ex
ercise. Would that be possible?”
He nodded. “Yes, of course. Did you find the swimsuits? I think there are three or four. I have a lot of work to do today, but I’ll take you swimming before dinner, if you’d like.”
She said, “Yes, I’d like that a lot.”
After he left to begin his workday, Dani spent the day working on her knitting and listening to some CD’s that the Sheikh had brought her. Thoughts frequently turned to the Sheikh, and she felt flutters of both arousal and contempt. Much to her dismay, she also found herself greatly looking forward to their early evening swim.
The day passed relatively quickly, and by the time the sun was setting, Dani felt that she had accomplished quite a lot. Her knitted square had grown considerably, and her Arabic vocabulary had grown from nothing to around a dozen words and a few simple phrases. She found herself looking forward to sharing these things with the Sheikh.
She wasn’t sure when to expect him, but decided to change into her swimsuit anyway. It was perfect timing, because he arrived just as she was throwing a cover-up on her slinky black bikini. As they were leaving the room, he casually said to her, “Just so you know, it’s in your best interest to stay close to me. The property is monitored by video surveillance, and there are armed guards everywhere. You needn’t be afraid that they’ll shoot you, because I’ve been very clear about my expectations. They will, however, apprehend you immediately if you try to take off. You’ll be returned to your room, and it will be a very long time until you’re given another chance.”
It hadn’t even occurred to Dani to try to run away. She knew she wouldn’t stand a chance against the guards. She did, however, give the Sheikh a piece of her mind as they walked. “You know, this wasn’t some stupid escape plan on my part. I’m smarter than that. I just wanted to go swimming, but maybe I should just go back to my room. Maybe you should consider the fact that you probably wouldn’t have to obtain women via kidnapping if you didn’t treat them like this. You’re smart, interesting, handsome, and wealthy… but sometimes you’re a fucking jerk.”
Abdul’s eyes flashed, and he grabbed her by the arm. For a moment she was afraid, but as quickly as he had grabbed her, he loosened his grip. He looked her in the eyes and said, “I’m sorry. I’m not used to dealing with women in the ways you are used to men dealing with you. This is how I was raised, and it is how all men are here. I am trying to learn the cultural differences. Hopefully we’ll reach an agreeable middle ground.”
Dani sniffed. She thought it was a stupid apology, but at least it was a start. She could tell he was trying, and that he really was confused by her responses to him. She took a deep breath and said, “Apology accepted. Let’s forget about it and swim.”
He let go of her upper arm, and took her hand. He held it for the remainder of the walk to the pool. Stepping out the door, she closed her eyes and turned her face towards the sky, savoring the feel of the hot sun and gentle breeze on her face. She peeled off her cover-up and took a running leap, diving into the deep end of the pool. The Sheikh was right behind her, and soon they were playing like children, splashing each other and having races. They swam until the muted tones of sunset gave way to darkness, and then he was behind her, slipping his hands gently around her waist.
“I’m starving,” he whispered in her ear.
“You’re always starving,” she whispered back, feeling awkward but strangely with the Sheikh so close to her.
He barely grazed her skin as he said, “You’re right. It’s true. I’m always so hungry.”
Chapter 7
Back in her room, Abdul called the kitchen while Dani showered and changed. When she came out of the bathroom toweling her hair, he said, “You have such a natural beauty. Look at you. Wet hair and not a speck of makeup, and still you look stunning.”
Dani blushed, “Thanks. You’re not so bad yourself.”
Their food was soon delivered, and they flirted as they ate. She impressed him with her new Arabic vocabulary, and he praised her efforts, offering just a few gentle pronunciation corrections. As they shared an impossibly moist and decadent piece of cake for dessert, she began to wonder if he was going to try to have sex with her again. The idea was both terrifying and titillating, and she wasn’t at all certain how she would respond if it happened.
When the cake was gone, the Sheikh dabbed his mouth with a napkin, then stood up and took her hands. She allowed herself to be pulled to her feet and drawn in close, staring into his dark brown eyes. She placed a hand on his heart, and could feel that it was beating rapidly. He leaned in to kiss her, and it was the softest, gentlest kiss she could have imagined. When she kissed him back, she was slightly more accepting than she expected, and when he parted his lips she welcomed it when his tongue found hers.
As he drew back from the kiss, Dani was aroused and wanting more, but still horrified that the man she had just kissed was her captor. Her pulse was racing, and her panties were soaking wet. She thought to herself that tonight was the night. She knew that was going to lose her virginity. The Sheikh, however, had not actually picked up on this. He gently brushed her cheek with his thumb, wished her a goodnight, and left her alone, all hot and bothered.
In utter confusion, Dani flopped down on the bed and groaned into a pillow. First she had to fight him off, and two nights later he wouldn’t stay when she wanted him to. Did she really want him to? What was she thinking? Her sexual energy was so pent up, she felt like crying. She knew that she could relieve it to a degree, but she didn’t want to get herself off tonight. In her frustration, she decided that she’d rather go to sleep than deal with it, and that was exactly what she did.
Dani was still in bed when there was a knock on the door the next morning. She was naked, and thought that perhaps she should call out that she needed a moment to get dressed. The desert was hot, so sleeping in clothes was quite uncomfortable. She quickly changed her mind and took the exact opposite approach. Not making a peep, she closed her eyes and pretended to be sound asleep.
As the door swung open and Abdul came in with a breakfast tray, she feigned a yawn and rubbed her eyes. “Good morning,” she murmured.
Abdul was startled when he saw that she was naked under the sheets. “Good morning. I’m sorry. I didn’t realize… I can put the tray down and leave.”
She tried to look noncommittal. She smiled coyly and said, “If you want to.”
The Sheikh raised his eyebrows and looked as though he was trying to decipher her meaning. He didn’t want to get it wrong and make her angry again. He sat the tray on the table and said, “Would you like me to stay? Because I would like to stay if that’s what you want. I would like that very much.”
Dani smiled and patted the bed. When he sat down next to her, she whispered, “Sometimes I’m hungry too.”
Abdul had no idea what had accounted for her sudden shift, but he liked it. He caressed her neck and kissed her earlobes, whispering, “Show me. Show me how hungry you are. I won’t stop until you are satiated.”
Dani sat up, allowing the covers to fall away from her breasts, and kissed him passionately, closing her eyes and inhaling his scent. As the kissed, he tentatively stroked her breasts, and when she moaned in appreciation, he lowered his face, kissing and sucking the sweet, pink rosebud nipples. A swelling ache rose in her pelvis, and she knew that she wanted this without reservation.
She frantically unbuttoned his shirt, and as he shrugged his shoulders the fabric fell away. She ran her hands over the smooth muscles of his forearms and back, kissing and biting his neck, running her tongue across his shoulder blades. Until he couldn’t take it any longer and stood up to take off his pants.
As he stood beside the bed, Dani rolled onto her stomach and reached out her hand to touch his large cock, the first she had ever felt. It was hot and smooth, and she was in awe that it could be so hard, yet the skin was so soft. She caressed it gently, then tilted her head to take it into her mouth.
As the tip of her tongue made contact, she
realized that maybe she should tell him that this was her first time, in case he was disappointed. She felt shy as she said, “I’ve never done this before. You might have to tell me what to do.”
Abdul looked shocked. “You’ve never done what?”
“Any of this.”
“You’re a virgin?”
When she nodded yes, looking as though she could burst into tears at any moment, his shock turned to pure delight. She was pure. On top of everything else that he liked about her, this was the cherry on the sundae.
Dani had no idea that this would be the case, and her lip trembled as she said, “I hope you’re not disappointed…”
Abdul felt a rush of compassion for her. He was also incredulous. What man in his right mind would be disappointed to take a woman’s virginity?
“No, no,” he reassured her. “I am not disappointed. If anything I am pleased. Don’t worry, I will teach you anything you need to know.”
He crawled onto the bed with her, and lying on his back, took her hand and wrapped it around his cock. He held his hand gently over hers and began to stroke, letting go once she had found the rhythm. She seemed to know intuitively to keep stroking as she wrapped her lips around the throbbing head of his phallus. He let out a deep moan of appreciation, encouraging her efforts.
Enthused by his response, she began to go deep, plunging more of him into her mouth with every thrust. He gasped, “Oh yes, just like that. Just. Like. That,” and she took him so deeply that her lips hit the base of his shaft. When she gagged, ever so slightly, and her throat started to constrict around him, Abdul forced himself to withdraw quickly, knowing that he would cum at any moment if she kept going.
