  Chapter 7

I wake up to the amazing smell of my morning drug, coffee. The aroma is enough to want me to get out of bed and grab a cup. I roll over and wrap my arm around Justin and kiss him. “Good morning.” I stay snuggled up next to him until he’s ready to get up.

“Mmmm, good morning.” My eyes pop open as the accent rolls off Klaus' tongue. Shit. I never once thought that Justin would just wake up and leave without me. This is all so new to me. I have no idea what the proper thing to do here is. I slowly start to remove my arm.

“I’m sorry.” Before my arm is off him, he grabs it, rolling over pulling me on top of him.

“No need to be sorry, love.” He lifts his head, and our lips meet. I freeze not knowing if this is okay or not. I mean, after last night you would think it was but Justin isn’t in the room, so I’m not sure. Noticing my hesitation, he pulls away smiling as he rubs his hands up and down my arms sending a shiver throughout my body. “Now I feel like I should be apologizing. I forgot this is new for you and you’re still getting comfortable. Should we get dressed and see where our spouses ran off to?” Looking down at myself, I realize I’m still in the lingerie Hayley dressed me in last night. “I’ll grab you a pair of Hayley’s clothes so you can wear something comfortable.”

“Thanks.” I admire his nude body as he walks off into the closet before coming out in a pair of workout shorts and some clothes for myself.

“I’ll meet you downstairs.” He hands me the clothes and shuts the door behind him as he leaves the room. Sitting on the bed for a moment, I recall everything that happened last night. I’m a little nervous to see Justin for the fact that I’m horrified of what he’s going to think of all this. Yeah, the alcohol was flowing through us last night but I wasn’t drunk to where I didn’t know what I was doing. Getting dressed, I walk downstairs and find everyone sitting around the table with breakfast talking.

“There you are gorgeous.” Justin gets up from his chair and kisses my cheek before walking to the table with me. “How did you sleep?” It’s so weird to see Justin in such a good mood. Normally he’s over tired and cranky in the morning; this is a nice change.

“Good thanks, although, I have to admit,” looking to Hayley, “I may have mistaken your husband for mine this morning. I’m sorry for that.” I tell her and give Justin an apologetic look.

“Oh stop. Nothing to be sorry about. I’m glad you slept well. Coffee?” She gets up and walks over to the pot, pouring me a cup. Setting it back down on the table in front of me she waves her hand across the table. “Help yourself to whatever you like.”

Looking at the table, there’s a wide spread of food. Bacon, eggs, omelets, sausage, pancakes, French toast and waffles. “You made all this?” I ask surprised. Justin is lucky if he gets an Eggo waffle from me.

“Well, I had help.” I look to Justin surprised, and she shrugs.

“I didn’t want to wake you up so I came downstairs and saw she was making food so I figured I’d help.”

“That was sweet of you.” I place my hand on his giving it a squeeze before digging into some breakfast.

The conversation flows nicely during breakfast and Klaus tells us a little more about his club. Apparently the rooms I thought were offices are rooms that have beds in them where people can play if they’d like. I have so many questions, but he answers all of them even my biggest one.

“How do you keep it clean and sanitized?”

“Well, we have sets of sheets in each dresser in the rooms. All the beds are wrapped in plastic, and we rewrap the plastic every weekend. The members who want to use the beds will grab a clean set of sheets out of the dresser and place them on the beds themselves, then when they are done, they strip the bed and place the sheets in the hamper outside the door. We have a cleaning service come in after every night and clean the place and Hayley and I oversee it to make sure it’s done properly.” I didn’t notice any hampers when I was walking past the doors. I would love to go back and take another look at the club when it’s closed, and there isn’t so much going on at once. He tells me how they supply everything from, condoms, lube, shower essentials, mouthwash and some BDSM toys if people don’t bring their own and toy cleaner.”

We finish up breakfast, and they suggest we come back to the club tonight since we don’t have the kids and can stay for the whole party. It’s a toga party, and so it shouldn’t be as overwhelming as their ABC party they assure us. We both agree to go and head home.

After we are home and showered, I get a load of laundry in the washer, and Justin is vacuuming the living room floor. I try to catch his attention, but he can’t hear me with the music and vacuum going at the same time. I unplug it, and he turns to see me holding up the plug smirking at him.

“I was calling your name, but you didn’t hear me.” He walks over and turns the music off.

“I’m sorry, babe,” walking over to the couch he takes a seat patting his lap. Crossing the room, I sit on his lap and he wraps his arms around me.

“I think we need to talk about what happened last night and what’s going to happen tonight.” I run my hand through his hair.

“Okay, so let’s talk.” He’s rubbing my leg and I’m loving the affection I’m getting even if it’s something as simple as a touch.

“Well, we didn’t get a chance to discuss where we go from here. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed myself, but I totally saw a different side of you last night. It seemed like you were willing to jump ship on me so easily.” I shrug, being completely honest.

“I’m totally okay, no great, with just being with you, Katrina. I love you, and nothing is going to change that. I’ve been a real dick, and I could tell last night when you looked at me that you desperately wanted to experiment. After being such an asshole to you, it was the least I could do.”

“So you did it just for me?” I can’t stop the disappointment in my voice that comes out. I really enjoyed myself, and I was hoping that we would be able to open up our marriage.

“I would do anything for you. You’re my wife. All I want to do is make you happy.”

  “Do you mean that?”

“I wouldn’t ever be anything but honest with you. Yes, I mean it.”

"How would you feel about trying an open marriage? Just see how it works and if it doesn’t then we close it and never go there again.” He’s silent for a minute, and it makes me a little nervous about what his reaction is going to be. “I can’t explain it, Justin, and it’s probably going to sound so weird to you, but I’ve never felt so connected to you before. I felt like we were on a totally new level of intimacy and even though there were two other people involved, when I looked at you, and we locked hands it was just you and me.”

“I know what you mean. I felt it, too.” My heart jumps at his words. “But I still don’t have the sex drive like you do. So for you, I will give this a shot. But, we need rules. There are things I’m just not going to be comfortable with, and I’m sure you feel the same way.” I nod in agreement.

“Okay then so, we’re actually doing this?”

“I guess we just jumped on the bus to swing town and there ain’t no stopping us now.”

“Unless you break the rules. Then, I’ll break your dick.” We both laugh. I get up and walk to the kitchen grabbing a notebook and a pen. Walking back over to Justin I sit on his lap. “Okay, let's do this. Our relationship just keeps going up, and I’m learning there are levels to our love that we can explore together, which is better than where we were a few months ago. We almost were divorced, I would say we’re not doing too bad.” He places a tender kiss on my lips, and we lay out the rules.
