“There is one more setting,” he replied. “But we’ll save it for later.

“Okay, well, which way Inspector?” She asked as she turned her head left and right. There were two tunnels and a large opening that led back up to the soil.

“Listen, can you hear water?” He said to her as he walked down the south entrance which was a tunnel covered in streaks of silver where they had cut into the soil. Alegna followed him, listening to the water as their guide. Carefully they walked down the tunnel to where it opened and became more of a passageway with other passages running in five different directions.

The Space Traveler felt that his boots were sticking to the ground. He raised a boot and could see a glowing green drip fall from it. Then the smell came. It was of sewage. Alegna plugged her nose in the darkness. He looked at her and could see she had smelled the foul stench also. “You don’t like that, do you?” He sarcastically mocked her.

“Stop it,” she scolded him and then pushed his shoulder as he then began walking farther down the passageway. When they came to the opening of the five paths carved through the soil, she asked him, “Should we follow our nose? Although I don’t think that will help, the entire area smells of rotten filth.”

He turned around facing her with two small cup size respirators. “Just a small token of how much I appreciate you Alegna.” He handed her a respirator and he then placed his over his nose. “Now make sure you only breath through your nose,” he explained.

“You really think you’re a comedic genius, don’t you?” She barked at him as he walked down the center passageway and replied, “Maybe.” She followed him after placing her respirator on and started practicing breathing only through her nose.

Meanwhile, above ground on the surface, the Queen Leader walked into the Space Travelers ship. The Mordlocks had finally breached the rooftop and opened the main doorway for her. She walked her fat self in, stomping as she took each step, her blubber bouncing off her body as she did. In her language, she asked the two creatures, “Where are these trespassers? The ship is large. Go and find them and bring them to me alive!” She commanded the two beasts and off they galloped, one in each direction of the circular space craft.

She waited for them as a few Wurthians, still frozen to the exterior of the ship, were hanging over the open entrance doorway. She looked back at them and scoffed. Now, the Queen Leader was a devious being. She went into the bridge and grabbed the Space Traveler’s Captain’s chair and grabbed hold of it with her fat fingers. Her black filthy finger nails protruded from them, they were long and chipped. She sunk them into the chair and then roared as she ripped the seat off the ground and threw it against the wall.

The two Mordlocks came racing around the corner, one from the left passage and the other from the right. They slowed their walk as they entered the bridge. The Queen turned around and faced them. In her deep throated voice, she inquired of them, “What did you find Mordlocks?”

Like clockwork the two Mordlocks howled at her and the larger Mordlock said in their language, “Energy room.”

The Queen snarled, then stomped toward the two beasts as they turned around and galloped down the hallway. She followed them until they came to the double doors. At the side of the entrance at the panel of the double doors to the energy room the monitor was flashing. A video of the space Inspector talking was visible but on mute. She waked over to the computer monitor as the two Mordlocks looked at it, standing side by side. She cautiously walked to the monitor and hit the keyboard once, the sound came on and the Space Travelers voice came through the speakers, “Running out of supplies and water. We will not survive long. Please send us a rescue. Again, this is the Captain of the Sequence. Over and out.”

The message played again and she heard the entire message in the language of the Jioskians now. The next rotating message was in her language. Whether the Queen Leader believed the message or not, she stood in the room and petted the two Mordlocks as she thought about the scenario. Black drool seeped from her green lips and she slurped it back into her mouth.

Meanwhile, down in the caverns of the Wurthian purifying system, otherwise known to us as the sewers, the Space Traveler and Alegna had come to an area where the night vision goggles picked up green images roughly two hundred yards away. Walking through a passageway he whispered to her, “Whatever is going on down here, is not for purifying waste any longer.”

  “I agree,” she complained.

Entering through the passageway they walked downhill to another smaller tunnel that was made of sparkling dust that was either silver of zinc. As they traveled farther down the pitch-black tunnel, it opened revealing a room with seven pathways connecting to more tunnels. It was a chamber.

In the main chamber, there were six transporter platforms and one behind the ten times the size of one. It was different in color as well. While the other smaller six transporter platforms color were more of a brushed nickel, the larger transporter was a white gold. But with night vision goggles they could not tell the difference between them.

The Space Traveler walked up to each one as Alegna watched the entrance for the Wurthians. He started at the middle platform and looked closely at the emblem on the first step. It was shaped like a large eye. He had no idea what that meant now, and so he then walked over to the next platform to his left and the emblem on its first step was of a fire flame with eyes. He was still not understanding what this all meant. Alegna watched him as he went to the next platform and its emblem was that of a wave. He was stumped. Finally, he walked back, passed the middle platform to the next set of three. There was a diamond shaped emblem on one, then the next platform’s emblem was a dragon head and now he understood. He did not need to see his species image at the last platform to know these transporters went to each of the six planets.

He looked back at her while she was keeping watch, looking down the tunnel. “It’s an illegal transportation room that goes to all six planets,” he explained to her.

“Okay, so where does the larger one go?”

He turned back, walked around the middle platform and up to the larger transporter. It had no emblem. “Obviously,” he said, “They didn’t need to distinguish this one. Regardless, the Queen Leader is in serious violation of the unauthorized transportation sanctions.”

“Well,” she chimed in, “It won’t matter if we’re caught down here. What are we going to do next?”

“I don’t know, you got any bright ideas?”

She looked at him with her mouth open. Along with the attitude stance she gave him, as she placed her hands on her hips and her mouth was ajar that he messed up. He explained quickly, “What I meant was, I want to hear all of your great ideas because…I have no idea what I’m doing…right now.”

Alegna quickly forgot his dumb statement and looked back down the hallway. She put her finger to her lips and whispered, “Quiet, someone’s coming.”

Leaving warp speed, over four hundred ships from Hibot’s entered the outer orbit of Wurtha. Two Wurthian obelisk ships stood in their way and ten of the larger ships fired lasers upon it instantly. It did not take long until they were obliterated in space. Metal parts drifted off in space like bubbles in a pond. As the Hibot’s ships flew closer in on the metallic planet, the red dwarf sun began to fade to the other side of the planet. Within minutes the entire planet was surrounded by upwards of four hundred ships. Some the size of the Space Travelers, others were smaller shuttles able to carry only a dozen passengers. The Chancellor was in a Mega Ship looking into the digital monitor that gave a clear view of the metallic planet beneath them.

“Roldo, send a transmission down for me, would you?”

Now, Roldo was a Clyberian, except his upper body was flesh and blood but his lower half was robotic. Clyberians are one of the many species of refugees after the great war that have since called Hibot’s their home. They are humanoid beings with flexible arms like worms, hairless bodies and faces that only the movie can explain, if we get a movi
e of this story that is.

Roldo swiveled in his chair and spoke into the microphone at his console. “Attention Wurthians! This is the United Systems Health Association. Your Queen is being summoned to answer for multiple counts of treaty violations. She has five minutes to respond to our transmission or we are coming down to you.”

The Chancellor looked at Roldo who shook his head up and down, proud of his statement.

“I couldn’t have done better myself Roldo,” the Chancellor said.

Meanwhile on the surface of Wurtha, a guard came running down the hallway of the Space Travelers ship toward the Queen.

“What is it infidel?” She muttered.

“Communication with Hibot’s my Queen,” the guard explained as she bowed her head.

The Queen erupted in anger and chopped down on the guard’s head knocking her to the metal floors. She then grumbled, “The Chancellor has come for war.” She assumed and then stomped down the hallway toward the exit of the ship. Her two beasts, the Mordlocks stayed in their place, they were whimpering. The Queen turned back around facing them, they were drooling over the fallen guard. “Eat!” She gave permission and walked down the hallway as she listened to them tear the guard apart.

Exiting the ship and down the tunnel she stomped and waddled her obese body, another guard approached her. “Your majesty, the Chancellor’s ship demands-”

That word ‘demand’ infuriated the prideful Queen who grabbed the guards face with one hand and lifted her into the air. “No one demands from the goddess of the Universe!” She screamed and then tossed the guard to the side like a toy. The poor guard landed head first on the ground causing her to become unconsciousness.

Walking toward the capital obelisk building five Wurthians, older, wearing red robes waited for her at the entrance of the building. These were her royal advisors, her attendants who cared for the Queens internal affairs. She snarled at them as she walked inside the building. They followed her inside with bowed heads.

Directly underneath the capital obelisk, the Space Traveler and Alegna were hiding behind the larger transporter platform. They could see what resembled fireflies swarming around the Wurthians who walked into the room. The Space Traveler and Alegna looked at each other. Sitting on the ground in the darkness they heard a crack sound and then lights illuminated the room.

One of the Wurthians pushed the emblem with the eye, it was the Fequ transporter. The eye emblem glowed blue and then the platform emitted white rays ascending to the ceiling. It hummed a tranquil tone echoing through the room and down the passageways. The Space Traveler tapped the right side of his goggles, switching from night vision, to x-ray. Alegna stared at him as he looked through the transporter they were hiding behind. He could now see twelve Wurthians he counted, standing around the face of the transporter. They did not move. He could not help but notice that their bones were jagged, twisted and thin.

The transporter beams began spinning around growing faster as the humming sound increased. Lights in every color reflected off the ceiling moving at incredible speeds as they would cross each other. A bright flash of light and then the light show ended. What was produced from the transportation sequence was nothing he could have imagined. Resting on top of the Fequ transporter, a large hand. It had three fingers!

The Space Traveler looked at Alegna who could not see behind the transporter herself and so he clicked the right side of her goggles and his skeleton was visible. She jumped back in shock for a moment and he held her. He whispered, “Shhh, it’s just me. I told you there was one more setting on our goggles.” He then pointed to her left and she looked out through the transporters she could see the large hand, it was the size of a small space shuttle. All twelve Wurthians systematically walked up the steps of the transporter to the top platform and grabbed hold of the Fequian severed hand. They lifted it up and carried it down to the floor. As they walked out of the room toward the right passageway the Space Traveler said to her, “Now we will find out what’s causing these issues here.”

Meanwhile, stationed above the capital city, the Hibot’s fleet hovered over the obelisk buildings like a bird of prey to a field of mice. The Chancellor was deep in thought, his face was as serious as any of his men had ever witnessed. Roldo looked at his boss and stated, “Five minutes have been long over now Chancellor, what shall you have your fleet do?”

The Chancellor took a deep breath and answered him, “Inform the admirals, it’s time to attack.”

Roldo nodded his head in agreement and he then typed on his console keypad giving the Chancellors orders to the fleet of four hundred ships. He looked back at the Chancellor who had his head on his brow, sitting in his chair semi-slumped over. He could tell that his boss did not want to attack, but he had no choice.

One of the Duraduskian admirals came over the monitor screen, “Chancellor. Have we verified with the official peace treaty that we have the authority to proceed with the attack?”

The Chancellor looked up at the admiral in the screen and replied, “Yes admiral. Wurtha violated space travel sanctions and has defiantly ignored my authority.”

As soon as he finished his sentence a transmission came over the air waves. Roldo held the speaker to his ear and said, “Chancellor, one second. The Wurthians are sending a message.”

The Chancellor and the admiral stared at each other through the monitor as they waited for Roldo to translate the message. Thirty seconds or so passed by and then Roldo removed the speaker from his ear. He had a strange look, like he just saw the severed hand of a Fequian.

“Well Roldo. What did she say?” the Chancellor impatiently asked him.

Roldo swiveled his chair around to face the Chancellor and answered him, “The transmission stated… because we are trespassing, this has violated Wurtha’s laws. We should prepare to be annihilated now.”

The Chancellor scoffed at that message and commanded, “Admirals, prepare for battle!”

Under the surface of the planet, the Space Traveler and Alegna crept along down the passageway following the twelve Wurthians carrying the severed Fequian hand.

“What’s going on with the giant hand?” She whispered to him.

“It’s a Fequian hand. You know, I cut into a Fequian’s hand recently. That can’t be the same Fequian, could it?” He whispered back to her.

“You’ll have to fill me in on the details later,” she replied as they snuck down the dark tunnels.

Still in night vision goggle mode, they could see a contraption that scanned each Wurthian as it entered the next section. As the Fequian severed hand passed through the scanner, an alarm sounded and a pulsating green glow lit up the entryway. The Space Traveler stopped his walk and whispered to her, “It’s a security scanner. We’re not going to be able to get through without being detected.”

“What should we do then?” She asked.

  “We wait,” he answered.

Meanwhile, above ground, the Hibot’s ships hovering over the obelisk buildings, cast shadows over the city. Before long, the peak of the obelisks opened and large cylinder chambers protruded from the buildings. There were no less than two hundred, all aiming at the Hibot’s ships like sitting ducks. The chambers fired from them like cannons except the ammo was green balls in silver caps. Hundreds of shots fired from the cannons. Many hitting the Hibot’s ships and when they did hit the mark, the green portion clung to the ships body. It began moving like slime, but alive! One of the admiral’s ship that was hit on the windshield watched as the green slime began crawling up the window. “Dlom!” the admiral cried.

Inside the Chancellor’s ship, he spoke into his mouthpiece, “Attention fleet! The Wurthians have the hybrid dlom and are using as weapons. Engage the obelisks and take out those cannons!”

The Chancellors ship began nose diving down toward the city. Roldo spoke up, “Chancellor. Our weapons are locked on the targets. Ready to fire on your command.”

“Admirals,” the Chancellor spoke in to his mouthpiece, “Co
nfirm your locking position on the targets.”

Two admirals spoke into his earpiece, “Confirmed Chancellor.”

Roldo looked at the Chancellor and revealed, “There are twenty-eight more admiral ships that have not confirmed yet.”

The Chancellor frowned as he looked out through the windshield to right and left at the hundreds of Hibot’s ships preparing for battle. “We will wait Roldo. When all thirty command ships are locking in, we fire upon them together.”

“Yes Chancellor,” Roldo stated and then swiveled his chair back to his station.

Underground, Alegna and the Space Traveler waited patiently resting up against the tunnel wall. A loud explosion sounded above the planet’s surface followed by a violent earthquake that rocked them both. Alegna stayed on her feet but the Space Traveler, he jumped when the earth rumbled under him. Metal dust and rocks fell from the tunnel ceiling, followed by silver dust particles. They both stared at each other in the darkness, looking at the green glowing image of each other through the night vision goggles.
