Salvaging His Soul: Trident Security Book 8

Her face disappeared for a brief moment as she pulled the shirt over her head then dropped it on the bar. “What next?”
Jase’s eyes narrowed. “Rule number one, sweetheart, is you’re not to speak unless I ask you a question. When I’m ready to tell you what to do next, I will. Until then, you wait in silence. Anticipation will heighten everything you’re going to feel.”
Her response proved he was correct about her being a submissive. She didn’t question him or scowl, instead she bit her bottom lip, her gaze dropped to the floor in front of him, and she didn’t say another word. Jase waited for a count of twenty, then said, “Pull the cups of your bra down under your breasts and leave them there.”
When she did as she was told, he had to force himself to stay seated. Her dusky nipples were large and ripe, and he couldn’t wait until she offered them for him to suck and lick. But waiting was exactly what he had to do. “Play with your nipples, baby. Pluck them and roll them between your fingers. Close your eyes and imagine they’re my fingers. Good girl. Just like that.” He paused, letting a few seconds pass. “Now open your eyes and look at me while you tug on those gorgeous peaks.”
His gaze lifted to hers so she could see in his eyes how much she pleased him, how she had the power to drive him crazy just by following his orders. No amount of shifting could give him the relief he needed, so Jase reached down and adjusted himself, showing her exactly what she was doing to him. The corners of her mouth ticked upward, and a devilish glint flashed in her eyes. Well, the devil in him was about to turn up the heat for her. “Stop. Kick off your sandals and remove your jeans but leave your panties on.”
Her sandals dropped to the floor as Brie’s hands crept down her ribcage and abdomen to the snap and zipper on her pants. Jase’s gaze was focused on her hands and what they were doing. In the silence permeating the room, a “click” resounded as each tooth was slowly separated from its zipper-mate. Brie rocked from side to side, pushing the denim off her hips until she could slide them down her thighs and calves. The garment joined her sandals on the floor and was no longer what held Jase’s interest. No, the silky skin now exposed to him had his full attention. His heated gaze started at the tips of her pink-painted toes and slowly trailed up her feet to her ankles then calves, which were toned from all the running around the woman did for her business. He also knew she walked the beach a lot when she wanted to clear her mind or just take a break.
When his gaze reached her knees, Jase commanded, “Spread your legs for me, baby, as wide as you can comfortably go.” As if he’d said the magic words “open sesame” her thighs separated revealing her black, lacy thong. And he knew it was a thong without even seeing her ass. The woman never had panty lines unless she was completely bending over while wearing tight jeans or shorts. It was then Jase could just make out the ridge of a thong at the top of the ass crack.
“With your hand on top of your panties, run your fingers over your clit and pussy lips exactly how you’d want my fingers to be doing it. Close your eyes and imagine me touching you. Pleasing you. Tell me how wet my fingers are getting. Tell me what my fingers are doing to you . . . how they’re making you feel.”
Her eyes fluttered shut as her fingers rubbed her sex, and Brie moaned. “Mmm. So wet. I’m dripping, and your fingers are soaked. They’re making my body tingle . . . speeding up my heart rate. My head is spinning . . . I feel like I’m floating.”
Jase stood and spun the chair around so he could sit and stretch his legs out. “Watch me, Brie. See what you’re doing to me.” When her eyes opened again, his hand covered his denim covered hard-on and squeezed. Brie licked her lips as she stared at his hand, and Jase groaned. “This is how much I want you, baby. I’m ready to explode. You’re way over there, yet it’s not my hand I feel wrapped around me—in my mind, it’s yours. Move that scrap of lace to the side. Let me see how wet you are.”
When she exposed her plump labia, he groaned again. She was waxed bare and the sight almost had him cumming in his jeans. He needed skin on skin. Undoing the snap and zipper at his crotch, he pushed his jeans and boxers down and released his aching cock. His hand closed around the hard flesh, and he slowly pumped it up and down. “Slide two fingers in that sweet pussy, baby. In and out. Use your other hand to rub your clit. Remember it’s me touching you, filling you. Add a third finger when you can. You’re so tight around my cock. Hot and wet, burning me alive.”
Jase’s voice got thicker with every second that passed. Brie was the hottest submissive he’d played with since getting into the lifestyle. Hell, she was the hottest woman he’d ever been intimate with. He was looking forward to teaching her more about the lifestyle—what he got out of it and what he wanted her to experience with him. He had no doubt she’d want to explore further after tonight based on her expression, her body language, and the way she easily followed his commands. If they were going to have more than just this one night, which he was certain they would, he would have to educate her. Then they would negotiate the terms of their relationship and complete a limit list of the types of play she was interested in and those that were complete turnoffs for her.
He watched as she pleasured herself under his command. It was better than any porn he’d ever seen, not that he watched a lot of it. She was a natural submissive, but she also knew what she wanted. Jase catalogued each way she touched herself, the speed of her fingers, the amount of pressure she used, everything, so he’d know exactly how she liked it for when his fingers took over the next time. Once he mastered that, he’d show her things she’d probably never experienced before in her life, things that would have her begging for release.
Brie’s moaning told him she was getting close, and he thanked his lucky stars because he wasn’t far behind. “Faster, baby. I’m fucking you harder and faster. You’re about to explode around my cock. Get ready to fly with me. I’m licking those pretty nipples—can you feel it? My fingers are digging into the flesh at your hips. I want you to cum for me, Brie. Cum now!”
“Ahhhhhh! Oh, my God! Oh Jase!” Her body shook with the force of her orgasm. Her hips bucking hard caused her to remove the hand at her clit to grab the edge of the bar to keep from falling off.
Brie coming apart at his order and shouting his name was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen, and he followed her as his own climax shot through him.
Moments later, after they stopped panting for air, they stared at each other. The corners of Jase’s mouth ticked upward as he took in her flushed face and the satisfied look in her eyes. It made him feel ten feet tall. “So, baby . . . are you willing to explore a little more of my world with me?”

HAPTER 16
Present . . .
B rie paced back and forth in the living room of the house Ian’s team was renting, giving Jase the silent treatment. She was still pissed at him. He’d tried several times to apologize and take her out on the lanai to talk, but her response to him had been the same each time. “Not now.”
While Angie and Jordyn had given her a game plan, she was too scared to initiate it. Not of Jase, but of him walking out of her life for good. She was afraid if she confessed she was in love with him, he would end their relationship. The other two women had assured her they didn’t think that would happen—they swore Jase was in love with her—but she wasn’t one hundred percent convinced. He’d been right about one thing earlier, though, she needed to concentrate on finding Nadine and not making new friends. However, she found it hard not to—Angie was one of the sweetest women she’d ever met. And Jordyn was a bad-ass, in a good way. Brie had no doubts the petite woman could castrate Jase with one swipe of a switchblade, just as she’d offered to do.
While Angie and Amy sat in the living area, chatting, Jase rejoined Carter, Jordyn, Marco, and Ian in the dining room where they had a bunch of laptops, papers, maps, and weapons. They’d moved almost everything from Carter and Jordyn’s suite to the house where they didn’t have to worry about maid service or anyone el
se entering when they weren’t there. They were waiting for the two team members Brie hadn’t met yet—Kip Morrison and Logan Reese, Skipper and Cowboy, respectively. Jake and Nick had left a little while ago to take over the stakeout, after Reese had called Ian to let him know he had new, important intel to go over with everyone. Apparently, he’d heard things with a secret spy microphone or something. Brie was praying it was good news.
Out the living room window, Brie saw an SUV pull into the driveway. Moments later, two drool-worthy men, dressed in military camos, climbed out and headed for the front door. What the hell? Are being over six feet tall, sculpted to perfection, and drop-dead gorgeous requirements to work for Sawyer, or what?
Ian stepped into the living room and introduced everyone. “Brie and Amy, this is Cowboy and Skipper.”
The two men nodded and said hello as Brie shook their hands. “Thank you so much for coming to help us find my sister. It means more than you could possibly know.”
She was surprised, and found it endearing, that both men’s cheeks reddened, and they seemed embarrassed by her gratitude. Angie smiled from where she sat. “Most of the missions Ian’s employees have been on during their time in the military are classified, so they’re not used to being thanked for doing their jobs.”
Skipper chuckled. “Or in my case, being on LAPD’s SWAT. I didn’t get thanked too often there either.”
“Well, I sure as hell ain’t going to start thanking you,” Ian added with a smirk. “That’s what I pay you for. Now get your asses in here and give us the lowdown.”
Angie and Amy stood and followed everyone else into the dining room where they gathered around the table. Skipper pulled a small recorder from his pocket and handed it to Ian. “You can listen to it with headphones if you want to see if I missed anything. Due to the distance from where I was to the house, it’s faint and scratchy, but what I did manage to get is confirmation there are several women being held there.” Brie gasped and the man looked directly at her. “I’m sorry, I don’t know if your sister is one of them. I didn’t hear any names or descriptions mentioned.” His gaze flickered to his boss. “What I did find out, though, is they’re expecting a boatful of girls tomorrow and, from the sound of it, they’ll add the ones being held at the house to the ones already onboard. Not sure where they’re planning on going from there. Reverend’s going to try and work his way around the perimeter and see if he can listen in on some more conversations.”
“So, you need to rescue Nadine and the others tonight before the boat shows up, right?” Brie asked as she glanced from one man to the next.
Ian sighed heavily, as if he didn’t want to say what was on his mind. He stared at her with regret and compassion. “Brie, if we stage a rescue tonight, the women already on the boat will be lost. The way these assholes work, they’ll have some sort of signal right before they come ashore. If they don’t get the correct response to that signal, they’ll take off with those women, who will probably end up being sold as sex slaves in some shit part of the world where the only way to escape being repeatedly raped, beaten, and tortured like animals is to die.”
“Ian! You don’t have to be so crude about it,” his wife chastised.
“Yeah, I do, Angel. Brie has to understand what will happen if we take action tonight. I want to save Nadine as much as anyone in this room, but if we jump the gun, other women are going to be lost forever. They’re daughters, sisters, and girlfriends, and their families will never know what happened to them.”
Brie swallowed hard. As much as she wanted to yell at them that she didn’t care about anyone other than her sister, she knew it wasn’t true. She wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she left other young women to that horrible fate. She looked at Jase, who was watching her intently, understanding in his eyes. His lip was split and slightly swollen. Apparently, Ian had punched him for being an asshole to her earlier. Part of her was cheering because he deserved it, while the rest of her wanted to kiss it and make it better. Damn, she was messed up in the head over him. After a moment, she turned back to Ian. “Okay. You’re right. You have to rescue as many of them as you can. So, what happens now?”
“We need to get a boat in case something happens and we have to chase those assholes down. Then we have to come up with a plan of attack. I just wish we had more boots on the ground. It’ll be nine of us against God knows how many. My guess, based on the guards, the number of vehicles, and experience, we’re looking at twelve to fifteen on the property, at least, and three or four on the boat, depending how big it is. It’ll be a high-end cabin cruiser—they’ll need to be able to hide the women below deck, yet still have something with enough horsepower to elude authorities. We also don’t know if they’ll have help from anyone in authority. I don’t feel like spending the rest of my vacation in a Caribbean jail cell. Anyone have any nearby contacts who can get here by midnight?”
Jase pulled out his cell phone. “I can get us someone to man a boat . . . he probably knows where we can get one around here too.” At Ian’s raised eyebrow, he added, “Jacob’s like an uncle to Brie and Nadine. He served in the Royal Marines, has been navigating the Caribbean waters for a few decades, and said to call if we needed help. He can be here in two or three hours. Not enough time to bring his own boat, but I know he’s got friends on most of these islands.”
“Call him.” When Jase nodded and stepped into the living room to make the call, Ian eyed the other men. “Anyone else?”
“I can make a few calls,” Carter responded. “But I can’t guarantee they’ll be answered right away. You know our system—leave a message, and we’ll get back to you when we can.”
“Which is a shit system, if you ask me—and even if you don’t. All right, it’s . . .” he eyed his black dive watch, “. . . sixteen hundred hours. A six hour flight from Tampa. Let me see who else Dev can scramble and throw on a plane.” When Jase came back in the room and announced Jacob would be arriving in a few hours, Ian added, “Good. Get that checkbook out again. With our jet down here, I have to call Chase Dixon and get one of his to fly everyone in.”
Brie’s eyes narrowed. “Who’s that?”
“A friend who has a company similar to mine. We contract out some of his military personnel and equipment sometimes. Let me make a few calls, and then we’ll get this surprise party planned.”
As mostly everyone started to figure out the best way to rescue the women, Angie went into the kitchen to put on a fresh pot of coffee while Ian got on his cell phone. Jase stepped over to Brie and cupped her cheek. Even though she was still mad at him, she couldn’t help but cuddle into his touch instead of pulling away. She needed him right now—his comfort, his reassurance that Nadine would be okay, his . . . everything. Once they had her sister back, she could concentrate on where she and Jase would go from there. His gaze was apologetic. “I know you don’t want to hear how sorry I am right now, so I’ll just say that we’re going to get Nadine back. Once we do, then I’m going to spend all my time groveling at your feet until you forgive me. Okay?”
She only hesitated a moment before nodding. “Okay.”
After several hours of planning and phone calls, Jase drove back to the resort just after sunset with Brie, Angie, and Ian. Carter was following in his SUV with Jordyn and Amy. Since all available personnel were needed for the rescue mission, it was best the women, sans Jordyn, stayed at the hotel, surrounded by plenty of people. After moving personnel around, Devon Sawyer was sending Tristan “Duracell” McCabe, Cain “Shades” Foster, Doug “Bullseye” Henderson, and two of Chase Dixon’s men. They’d be landing around midnight and would meet the rest of the team at the rented house with some more “party favors” Ian had requested. The plan was to get everyone in position in the wooded areas encompassing the mansion before sunrise. They had no idea what time the boat would be arriving to pick up the women so they had to be ready to go at a moment’s notice.
Jacob had already arrived and met everyone before heading out to borrow
a boat with the speed needed. Jase had told the older man he’d get him a room at the resort, but Jacob declined, stating he’d crash at a friend’s place for a few hours. It hadn’t taken a genius to figure out the “friend” was of the female persuasion. At least someone was getting laid tonight.
Glancing in the rearview mirror, Jase took in Brie’s face. He wished he could ease her worry. She’d relaxed a little more around him again and even let him hold her hand in support while they’d discussed the best course of action for the rescue. Being new to all of this, Brie and Amy had asked numerous questions, which everyone had patiently answered. In fact, with naive eyes, they’d pointed out a few things the others had taken for granted, and it made them take a second look at everything. That’s how special ops worked—everyone tossing around ideas, putting their two cents in, and coming up with a Plan A, B, C, and D. Everything after that would be while they were flying by the seats of their pants. It had been a long time since Jase had been part of a team like that. Back in the Marines, his squad worked together every day, but then when he’d been recruited by the DEA to go undercover, most of the time his backup and handler had been too far away to do him any good if his cover was blown. He’d lived off the grid for years before realizing he’d had enough, and then spent two years on a backup and response team in Atlanta before another undercover agent had been killed in the line of duty in New Orleans. Wanting to avenge his friend’s death, Jase had gone to his handler and asked for the case. Before he’d gone back under, he’d visited Angie for two days since he didn’t know when he’d get another chance. It was during those fateful forty-eight hours he’d hired Ian Sawyer and the rest of Trident Security to watch over her.
