A few minutes of rigorous thrusting later and Christian was shocked to realize that he was close to the edge, it had been a long time since someone had gotten him there that quickly, and he was almost reluctant not to follow through with it. Seemingly sensing his hesitation, Claire tapped his thigh, pulling away when he stopped and coughing harshly for a few seconds. "It's ok, I want you to do it. Please..." She nuzzled against him, his length sopping wet from her mouth and his precum. "I want you to mark me."

Christian would be a fool to hesitate, giving very little warning before he shoved himself back into her mouth, her eyes squinting in bliss while he almost roared with desire, hips working him into her even faster than before. The two of them were complete messes, sweat and spit running freely to the ground with neither making any move to change anything, content to drench the floor with their coupling.

He shuddered when the peak first started, pulling out of her mouth with a wet sliding sound and working his hand along his length viciously, almost snarling as he tried to wring out just a few extra seconds while Claire prepared herself. The sight of her on her knees in front of him, mouth wide and her pupils blown in pure ecstasy was the last push he needed, throwing his head back as his swollen tip all but exploded. She groaned as the first stream landed over her nose, the second arcing into her mouth and sliding easily down her throat, his cum coating her features while she panted in sheer want.

Christian looked down at her once he came down from his high, chest heaving and his knees weak, breath catching in his throat when the first thing he saw was her sweeping his spend into her mouth, popping her lips off her finger with a coy wink. Even though he had just come he found himself hardening rapidly, exactly what Claire had been counting on when she swallowed down every drop that he had covered her with.

She yelped in surprise when he lifted her off the ground, throwing her chest down against the bed and wasting no time stripping her pants off her legs. Claire whimpered when the fabric dragged against her soaking core, the material stained and all but unwearable by now. He spread her cheeks, roughly massaging the supple flesh of her behind while she shifted and groaned, all but begging him to get inside of her.

He wouldn't do anything until she begged.

"Please Christian... I... I need it..." She bit down on the covers when he dragged a finger upwards, idly toying with both her entrances.

"What do you need Claire?" He pressed his finger against her rear, just enough pressure to be pure torture. "Tell me exactly what you need."

"God..." She sighed breathily, tears welling in her eyes from unfulfilled desire. "I need you to fuck me Christian, please... I want you to fuck me until I can't even see anymore..."

He chuckled, a sound that even in this context sounded cruel. "Alright then, that wasn't so hard now was it?" Without another word he pushed himself into her, her walls clamping around him gloriously, her head thrown back in a silent scream that lasted until he bottomed out, at which point she just collapsed forward, teeth clamped fully around the material of the bed. Christian paused, wanting to get used to the feeling of her and acutely aware of how sensitive he was after his extremely recent orgasm. Her insides felt as if they would melt him any second, wrapping around him perfectly and ready to milk him for all he was worth.

"How do you want me Claire?" He leaned down, teeth dragging against her ear. "Do you want me to go slow? Do you want me to take my time with you?"

"Please, just give me everything you can!" She pulled her head up to look at him, eyes wide and her mouth hanging open. "I want you to drive me into the fucking ground!"

Rather than answer, he snapped his hips forward, her entire body sliding up the bed from the force of his thrust. He reached underneath her, palming at her chest and dragging his nails down her skin, her neck open and waiting for his teeth to clamp down on her pulse point. He grunted like an animal, there was no other way to describe the way her body made him feel other than a pure beast, only chasing that same feeling of bliss that he got whenever he buried himself in her to the hilt once more.

Claire was helpless to do anything other than pant and moan, her heels pressing against his back and trying to draw him even deeper, but that was more due to pure instinct. Every thought she could have vacated her mind each time he pushed his hips against hers, the hand against her throat only increasing her feelings of pleasure tenfold.

"Oh my god!" She shouted once his hand found her clit, flicking and rubbing at the sensitive bud. "Oh god please, don't stop!"

His body felt like it was on fire, the depths of her soaking womanhood like liquid gold, each inch that he buried inside of her feeling like it was touched by God themselves. With what little movement she could get under his weight, she threw her hips back into him, his hands moving from her clit to her hips and increasing the force that he threw himself into her with. He spread her cheeks apart, marveling at the sight of her body twitching and shuddering with each slam or pulse of his cock, skin so soft under his hands that he was sure he was going to break it if he wasn't careful.

Claire whimpered, her climax approaching faster and faster until she could almost feel it behind her eyes, a pressure building until it was fit to explode at any moment. Christian could feel it as well, the way she stared to tighten around him even as his pace never slowed, slamming himself as deep as he could with a hand clutching a fistful of hair, pulling her back until she was arched and almost looking him in the eye.

"That's it, just let go, cum for me." She was gasping and shuddering, almost on the verge of tears as she finally toppled over the edge, walls clamping down around him and squeezing him for all he was worth. He clenched his teeth when he finally lost himself in her, his sensitivity from before winning out and painting her walls with his spend.

Just as she had asked, with her vision exploding with white stars, her eyelids clamped shut as she fought tiredly to even stay conscious, Christian had indeed made sure that she couldn't even see as she climaxed. Her moan seemed endless, breath refusing to come to her lungs as her heart raced, she was a slave to her body's whims, and her body ensured that she wasn't going to feel anything except constant pleasure, right up until the very moment where it seemed she could take no more.

She collapsed forward in a sweaty heap, his softened length slipping out of her and brushing against her thigh, the touch enough to send him shivering. "You really are an incredible young woman, you know that right?"

"I do..." She said once she worked herself up to talking again, shifting so she was on her back. "But it never hurts to keep hearing it."

He shifted against her, lips pressing lazy kisses to her stomach and breasts, before moving up to her mouth. "You've been making me a very happy man lately."

The two giggled against each other, wandering hands and lips eventually giving way to exhaustion, the two hunters wrapping their arms around the other and falling into a restful haze. Breaths slowed and pulses went back to normal, Claire tracing lazy patterns into his chest while she thought of what to say next.

"Christian..." She said hesitantly, desperately wanting an answer but utterly afraid of what it would be. "Can you tell me more about my sister? Like... I need to know what happened that night, I can't afford not to know."

"I already told you everything Claire, your sister... It was tragic what happened, and she didn't deserve any of it." Christian pushed himself up onto his elbow, looking over at her with an eyebrow raised. "Where's this coming from? I thought you knew I told you everything."

"I thought so but... I heard some of the others talking about what happened and..." She sighed, not able to look at him any longer. "I don't know, it just sounded like something else had been going on that night, the way they were talking it just sounded... Wrong."

He hesitated with his answer, and that was all she needed to know that there was truth to what she had heard. "Wait... It's true isn't it? We were doing something wrong that night!"

"No, we weren't." His eyes hardened, knuckles going whi
te when he squeezed his hand into a fist. "Everything we did was justified, everything. There's no reason thinking otherwise, just... Forget about it."

"I can't just forget about it!" She stood, the cold breeze hitting her skin and giving her goose bumps, but she couldn't bring herself to care about that. "She was my sister Christian! And your wife! You think I can just let everything go and not need answers? She's dead, and I need closure!"

"There is nothing to need closure about! She died because some freak outwitted us, that's all! Whatever else was going on doesn't matter, you should focus on getting revenge for her, that's what we do, that's what keeps us alive!"

"I won't dedicate myself to a path that I don't know everything about! What aren't you telling me? Why won't you just tell me what happened that night?" She stepped back, sliding her pants on and half buttoning her shirt. "Fuck you Christian, I'd think after everything you'd give a shit about what I thought."

"Claire wait!" He reached out futilely, only seeing the door close behind her as she left. "Shit." He said, growling suddenly as he closed a hand around the edge of the side table. He threw it to the side as hard as he could, the fragile wood shattering against the wall and scattering across the floor.

  "Shit!"

"So, um... I don't want to sound like I'm trying to devalue what you did tonight..." Farah pointed over at Iggy, currently finishing off a burger that Liam and Cayden had bought him on the way back. "Who exactly is this and why are they here?"

Iggy coughed, thumbing his chest lightly with his fist and wiping his mouth. "I'm your new best friend. Your boys sprung me from those dickhead's prison cell, so I let 'em know where they can find all these nice little files you're thumbing through."

She looked over at the two men, who both looked as miserable as she was starting to feel. "Has he been talking this much the entire time?"

"He never shut up until we got him the burger." Liam sighed, crossing his arms. "If I had of known it would come back I would have bought him fries too."

"I haven't eaten in four days, sue me." He dusted off his hands, leaning back in his chair and looking over at Cayden pointedly. "So what's your deal? I mean you're attacking them already, so you know that they're pieces of shit, but that doesn't explain why you let me free. You look like a hunter but no hunter I've ever seen pals around with..." He looked around the room, counting off on his hands. "Three shifters, three witches and now a vampire. Not exactly normal company for anyone to keep so... Who are you?"

"You sure you want to know? You're probably not going to like it if I'm being totally honest."

"Oh please." Iggy rolled his eyes. "You just rescued me from those assholes after being tortured for a few days, you even bought me a burger. What could you possibly have to say that would piss me off?"

"Alright..." Cayden leaned forward, running a hand through his hair. "I used to be one of those assholes."

Iggy was silent for a minute, crinkling and uncrinkling the burger wrapper in his hand. "You're right," He said, "That does piss me off. You were one of those racist, torturing fucks? When?"

"A few years ago now. I didn't really change that much until round about a year ago when I met these guys, but even then I knew what I had done with Christians group was wrong. I think I'll spend the rest of my life trying to make up for that."

"You should. You should regret every moment that you spent with those monsters! You know I wasn't the only one that they had there, I was just the only one who was left by the time you got there." He shook his head angrily. "Why'd you even get involved with people like that huh? What could have happened that was so bad that you thought what they were doing was justified?"

"A shifter killed my father. Sounds pretty cliché but... I dunno that really changed me, made me angry. Turns out dad knew Christian, had helped him out a whole bunch and been an all-around best friend to the prick, so there was a place for me there." He scowled, clenching his fist and swiping angrily at his chin. "Given what he was doing, the fact that my father was so buddy-buddy with the guy probably means that he wasn't such a good guy after all."

"I don't think I'm in any position to talk about your father being a piece of shit." Liam said, Michael chuckling to himself in the corner. "It would be pretty hypocritical coming from me."

"What'd your dad do?" Iggy leaned in. "Can't be as bad as what his did."

"He gave my mother cancer and used it to manipulate me into coming back to my hometown. Once I was there he planned to do something to my mate to fulfil a prophecy that he had struck up with a group of witches, while also betraying them and usurping her power for himself." He cracked his knuckles, the memory of the man not exactly good for his temper. "The only reason he didn't is because he was too stupid and arrogant to think he could fail, so now he's dead. Yet the prophecy still stands, so my family and I have to... Had to worry about that for months afterwards. Trust me, things are not so black and white. Once you have a few more years under your belt you'll see that, I only did recently."

Iggy wasn't quite sure what to say, he had been expecting a story about a neglectful father, maybe even a violent one. He hadn't been expecting a description of a monster. Though one detail stuck out to him.

"You said 'had' to worry about it. What changed? Where is your mate?"

Liam looked off into the distance, the other members of the group bowing their heads in respect. When he spoke next his voice was hollow, like he had already said it to himself a thousand times before, and was resigned to having to say it a thousand times more.

"She's dead. Christian killed her, that's why we're out here. Because we all loved her, and we all feel her loss in our own ways, and any day that he spends breathing when she doesn't is a crime." He stood, snatching the wrapper out of Iggy's hand and walking off. "If you want to help with that, fine, that's great. But you squash whatever it is that you have with Cayden right now, otherwise you walk out that door and you don't come back. I won't have anyone who can jeopardize this mission, anyone who tries will get put down, and they will not get back up."

They watched while Liam walked through the door into the room he had claimed, shutting the door behind him and going to sleep. Hayley chuckled fondly, waving her hand at Iggy. "He's usually like that, you get used to it. He's been under a lot of stress lately though, we all have. This thing with Christian... It broke his heart, it broke all our hearts but his especially. He and his wife were supposed to be celebrating having a child, they get one week of happiness and then she gets taken away from him because she had to save our asses."

"Wait..." His eyes widened in realization. "Was this some place called... Um, Boulder or something?"

  "Boulder Junction, yes."

"Those guys that had me locked up... They wouldn't shut up about it, something that just about wiped them all out." He ran a hand down his face, covering his mouth. He couldn't quite believe what he was hearing. "You saying that it was her they were talking about?"

"None other." Michael whistled, "Boy you should have seen her, it was like nothing I've ever seen before. We've all seen and done some pretty unbelievable things but that... That'll stick with me for the rest of my life, that much is certain."

"She was an incredible young woman, I loved her like she was my own daughter. I don't think I've ever met a more loving young woman but..." Leah smiled, her eyes distant. "At that moment, even though she was protecting all of us... I was genuinely afraid of her, I've never seen such power like she showed all of us that night."

"But... How did Christian kill her? They managed to capture me and god knows how many other people like me but... If she tore through them like they were saying she did then how is that even possible?"

"He didn't." Cassandra had been silent up until now, sitting pensively while she tried to get a read on what sort of person Iggy was. This however, wasn't a question she could be silent about. "Skylar burned herself out by using too much of her power too soon. It was the first real time she had used it, an
d she was woefully unprepared for the realities of what that would do to her. The fault for that... The fault for that lies with me."

  "No," Leah said, "That isn't..."

"It is. If I had trained her more, been more exact on what I taught her, on what the consequences would be if she used them... If I had been better, Skylar would still be here, with us."

"Even if she knew the consequences she wouldn't have changed anything." Farah shook her head. "You know that just as well as we do, that's just the kind of person she was. She did exactly what she thought she needed to do, damn the consequences to herself."

"She uh... She sounds like she was a pretty amazing woman." Iggy looked up at Cayden, tilting his head. "How well did you know her?"

"Me? Well for a while there I was in love with her. Still am honestly but you know, not in the same way, more like... More like the sister I never knew I wanted." Cayden chuckled, shaking his head. "She's the entire reason I'm the man I am today, why I'm with this incredible woman next to me, why I can sit here in the middle of this supremely mixed group and feel like I belong. I'm telling you, by now she would have made you a drink and had you wrapped around her finger, and she would have done it all just by being herself, no manipulation at all."

"She changed you that much huh?"

"Well when we met I was trying to kill him." He pointed at the closed door to Liam's room. "Then she married him, and told me to pull my head out of my ass, and here we are. You saw how we were working together, or I guess you heard how we worked together, that's mostly because of her."
