Reunited with Her Surgeon Prince

And then they were there. The trumpets blared forth their Ode to Joy. Someone held Felix’s horse as he dismounted because he had an even more important role now.
‘Who’ll accompany you down the aisle? Would you like bridesmaids?’ Josef had asked Ellie, and Ellie and Marc and Felix had stared at him as if he was dumb.
‘No one else accompanies me but Felix,’ Ellie had decreed. ‘My son will take me to my husband. On this day of all days, all I need is my family.’

He’d stood in this place three months ago and accepted the crown and he’d never felt so alone in his life.
What a difference three months could make.
What a difference one woman could make.
He stood and watched her walk steadily down the aisle. Josef had suggested full bridal—the public will love it! She’d considered and finally she’d not only given in but she’d actively enjoyed choosing. She was therefore dressed in white, with slivers of crimson netted through her veil and around the trace of the hem of her gorgeous billowing train.
‘Because I need a bit of crimson,’ she’d told Marc, laughing. ‘I’ve slept in your bed for the past three months, Your Majesty, and me a divorced woman. Scarlet doesn’t begin to cut it.’
Her laughter, her candour, her honesty—as well as the work she continued in the hospital—was endearing her to the nation.
And to him. Every day he loved her more.
Felix was walking before her, carrying the ring that’d been back and forth between continents in its quest for its true home.
He’d wear a ring from this day forth too. Some things were imperative.
Dear heaven, she was lovely.
Her dress was exquisite, the antique lace bodice skimming her figure to perfection, the skirt billowing like a cloud, a mass of silken embroidery. She looked young, happy, beautiful.
Felix was wearing the insignia of the Crown Prince of Falkenstein. He looked proud fit to burst.
His wife. His son.
Could he be any happier?
His thought briefly of that appalling morning when he’d learned he’d be King, when he’d thought the life he valued was over. But now he had his medicine. Things were happening in this country that most people had thought would never happen in their lifetime. And he and Ellie, what a team.
He and Ellie.
She was almost to him now. He reached out his hand and she came to him, putting her hand in his. With perfect trust.
She smiled up at him and he thought, It can’t get better than this.
Who’d want to be King of Falkenstein? No one, he’d thought all those months ago. But now, with this woman by his side...
He smiled at her and then, dammit, he stooped and kissed her because one kiss at the end of the ceremony was never going to cut it.
She smiled mistily up at him. The hand holding his tightened and they turned together to say the vows they already knew by heart.
And, right there and then, the King of Falkenstein decided he was the luckiest man in the world.
The King of Falkenstein had finally sorted his priorities and found his happy ever after.

Dr Hayley Clark and Sam Price’s holiday romance was unforgettable – and unrepeatable! Then risk-taking doc Sam arrives at her hospital ... Could their fling become something more?
Read on for a sneak preview of
CHRISTMAS WITH HER DAREDEVIL DOC
the first book in the MIRACLES AT MUSWELL HILL HOSPITAL duet
‘Hayley, meet your replacement, Samuel Price. Sam, Hayley’s just been promoted to senior registrar and you’ve taken over from her. You’ll be working together.’
Of all the places...
Sam hadn’t told Hayley that he was about to start a new job in London, and she hadn’t told him where she worked. London was a massive city with quite a few hospitals. What were the chances that they’d end up working together? The way her pupils expanded momentarily told him that she was just as shocked and surprised as he was.
This was going to make things awkward. They’d had a fling in Iceland, agreeing that it would be nothing more than that, and they’d said goodbye. What now? Would she want to see if their fling could be something more, something deeper? Or had he just been her transition person, the one who’d helped her to move on after her partner’s death, so she wouldn’t want to pick up where they’d left off?
The problem was, he didn’t know what he wanted, either. He’d really liked the woman he’d started to get to know in Iceland. But then again he’d liked Lynda, too—and his ex-fiancée had let him down so badly. Could he even trust his judgement any more? Would he be making a huge mistake if he started seeing Hayley?
She recovered first, holding her hand out. ‘Welcome to Muswell Hill Hospital, Dr Price.’
