Billionaire's Assistant

I didn’t know why he’d invited Paul and me here, but I wanted to go home before I did something stupid like throw myself at Desmond and ask him why he’d chosen Zara over me.
“How’s everyone tonight? Feeling good?”
I forgot how much I missed his warm, deep voice. Whatever had healed in the time we’d been apart was torn right open. It was a mistake to come here. I took out my phone to text Paul that I was going home.
“Now, some of you might be wondering why this night is called the Paul and Riley Jenkins extravaganza. Paul is my best friend. We’ve been together through everything. He left the military to come home and take care of his little sister, Riley. Riley is the love of my life.”
I stopped texting and looked up at the stage. What the hell was happening?
“Riley, could you join me on the stage? Can you guys help me? She’s about this tall, dark skin, killer smile. Here’s her picture.”
I saw a huge photo of me projected on the wall above the stage. The people next to me started pushing me towards the stage. I had no idea what he was doing. When I got to the front, Dez crouched down and pulled me onstage.
“Riley Jenkins, everyone!”
Everyone started chanting Riley, my name, over and over again. I covered my mouth.
“Riley Jenkins, you’re part owner of this club.”
“Me?” I squeaked. “What?”
“You invested in this club before it hit it big. You have enough money to fulfill your dreams. Here’s your first dividend check.”
I covered my hands as he handed me a check with more money than I’d ever gotten in my life.
“But that’s not the biggest news of the night…or at least I hope it’s not.” Dez smiled at me, and it was as dazzling as the ultra-bright stage lights.
He sank to one knee. He reached into his jacket to fish something out of his pocket.
I felt like a deer in the headlights as the lights caught a truly enormous diamond in that box.
“Riley Jenkins, will you marry me?”
The whole club started chanting YES YES YES YES. I didn’t know what to do. What about Zara? But he was very publicly proposing here on this stage. He took the trouble to say that this was the Jenkins’ night.
I felt a little dizzy. I could see the worry on his face, the first worry that I’d seen tonight. I was taking too long to answer.
He was playing dirty here. We hadn’t spoken to each other for a while. I was too overwhelmed to say anything. I looked at the cheering crowd. Instead of giving him an answer, I ran off the stage into the wings. I could hear the DJ start up the music again to cover my awkward exit. Dez was right behind me.

Desmond
I followed Riley right into the wings. I knew that it was a long shot, but I still wanted to try.
“Riley?”
“In front of everyone!” She turned around. I knew she was mad from the way she was practically giving off sparks. “You and I have to talk before we even get involved, and you want to get MARRIED?” She shouted that last word.
“I knew that you were mine. I’m done with waiting.”
“You’re crazy. We haven’t talked. And aren’t you with Zara?”
“No. What? I haven’t seen Zara since the hospital.”
“She ran into me while I was grocery shopping and told me that the two of you were back together. She said that I couldn’t keep you satisfied.” She looked like she was going to cry.
I pulled her into my arms, even though she wiggled a little bit. “You are more than enough for me. You’re everything.” I kissed her hard. “Never listen to that harpy again.” My tongue went into her mouth, claiming her. “And I can prove it.”
I pulled her legs around me before I took her through the back hallway to an office that had a couch in it.
“Dez, what are you doing?”
“Convincing you.”
I pushed up her dress and tore her panties.
“What are you…”
She didn’t get to finish asking me her question, because I buried my face between her thighs, licking up the honey that I’d very quickly grown addicted to.
“Scream for me, baby. I don’t know if they’ll hear it over the music, but we can try.”
Her inner muscles fluttered everywhere as she rode my face into oblivion. Even when her cream coated my tongue, I didn’t stop or let her come down until she’d come two more times.
“Dez…stop. I think I’m going to die by orgasm.” She weakly pushed my head away from her core.
I sank back on my heels. “Do you believe me?”
She gave me a slow, sated smile. “I think you’ve made a good start.”
I took the box out again and plucked the ring out. I slid it onto her finger. I’d eyeballed the ring sizes.
“It fits perfectly.” She looked at the diamond.
“You are mine. And I’m yours, if you’ll have me. Say yes, Riley.”
She looked at me and then back at her ring. “You promise that we’ll be together forever?”
“Forever.”
She threw herself off of the couch and kissed me. While we made out, she managed to lower my zipper and take my erection out of my pants. Before I even knew what was happening, she was guiding it straight into her warmth.
Her eyes closed and her mouth opened while she was on top of me. It was one of the best moments of my life, having her ride me while my ring was on her finger. I spurted pre-come inside of her as soon as she clenched around me, and she rocked back, ecstasy on her face.
I’d needed her over the past few weeks, but I’d had my plan. It was a long shot, but it’d worked. And now she was blowing my mind while she met every thrust.
She came first, crying out. I watched her breasts heave with the force of her quick pants. As soon as she came down, I pulled out of her.
“What about you?”
“Don’t worry, sweetheart.” I moved her and put her hands on the back of the couch. I shoved my ready-to-explode cock into her sweet hole. She cried out again, shivering around my cock.
This time, she wasn’t in charge. I had a hand on her clit and the other one making sure that her hips came back every time that I thrust inside of her. She was moaning in front of me while I began to release. It was as if my body knew that she was my future wife, because I was releasing more than I ever had before.
When I was done, I pulled out of her and wiped her up as best I could with a couple of tissues from a tissue box. Throwing away the tissues, I settled her on my lap while I sat on the couch. We both needed to take our clothing to the dry cleaners anyway.
“How did you like breaking in your new office?”
“My office? What?”
She looked around the spacious office, fully stocked, with a couch and a small fridge in it. “I have an office?”
“It’s definitely yours. You are a part owner of this club, after all. And you can call me in here anytime so we can do a replay of what just happened.” I kissed the side of her neck and felt her shiver in my arms. “But you know what I’d like even better? A nice big bed, say at my place?”
“You mean that?” She turned her head and looked very seriously at me. “You want me to move in.”
“I’ve wanted you to move in for a while now. You’re the one who wanted to hold back, and then Paul had his accident. I want you in my bed every night, and I’ll do what it takes to make that happen.”
“Well, as it happens, your apartment is a little closer to SoCal than mine. And thanks to a nice big check, I should be able to afford to attend.”
“You’re not paying for it, obviously. As my wife, I’ll cover it.”
“We haven’t even set a wedding date!” Riley yelped as I bit her shoulder.
“You’ve said yes, haven’t you? We can get married as soon as we have a marriage license.” I kissed the top of her cleavage. “And I’m getting one of those as soon as I can. We wouldn’t want to have a baby too soon after the wedd
ing, would we?”
“A baby?” She blinked at me. “What are you saying?”
“I didn’t use protection, sweetheart. That’s why it’s so messy. And I look forward to making that kind of mess again, which means that you’ll probably get pregnant if we’re making a mess every night.”
She was blushing really hard as I settled one hand between her thighs.
“So what do you say? A baby, a new home, a new path?”
She kissed me in response. “Sounds great to me.”

We heard knocking on the door. “Riley? Are you in there?”
“It’s Paul.” Desmond pulled down my skirt so that I was decently covered. He checked that things were zipped up.
“Come in,” I said as I stood.
“What are you doing in here?” Paul looked at both of us.
“What the fuck happened to you?” Desmond said. Paul’s nose was bleeding.
“I just stopped an assault in the alley. I called the police. I was…uh…trying to get some privacy with the blonde. She was crawling all over me, and I didn’t want to flash my ass at the entire club.”
“And?”
“When we were getting privacy, someone already was there. We were about to leave when we heard the woman scream. I stopped the asshole from raping her, but the police are going to need some statements. The woman, Emma, is going to head to the hospital.”
“The woman? How do you know her name?”
Paul looked down as he pinched his nose a little. “She’s my rehab nurse.”
“That’s why you’ve kept going, even though you’re technically done!”
He was blushing beneath the drying blood on his face. “One thing at a time.” He blinked. “Is that a ring on your finger?”
“We’re engaged.” I braced myself for his reaction and started making a mental list of reasons why it was a good idea for me to marry Desmond.
“Holy shit.” Paul smiled, which was a little grotesque with the blood. “I’m happy for you two, but do you think that we can celebrate after we clear all this up?”
The three of us headed into the club.
