Fallen : Part 3

“You know your wings are black, like mine?”

  She grinned at me.

“Yep, of course I do. They refused to send me back initially of course. They said I could become an Angel in Heaven, but to go back to Earth, I’d have to break one of their eternal rules.”

My stomach dropped at the light in her eye.

  “What did you do?”

My mind was imagining so many terrible things. There was only so many things you could do to be thrown out of Heaven, and it usually involved murder.

“I may have stripped naked and started a fire in the Great Hall.”

  My mouth fell open.

  “You what?”

“Well, I know it wasn’t some big adultery scheme or anything, but I was running out of time. I’d been watching you, and I knew you wouldn’t last much longer.”

“But… but, how? Fire is forbidden in Heaven.”

A light blush stained her cheeks. “I… ah, got some help.”

Her gaze met mine. “From Teramea.”

  Oh, fuck.

“No, it’s okay. She was lovely actually. She could see how much I wanted to get back to you and our son, and she offered to help me. I think she feels guilty about what she did to you.”

I just nodded, unable to understand the weird and wonderful ways of a female’s mind. I contented myself with just holding Kadie once again.

“I thought I’d never see you again,” I said, running my fingers through her hair and breathing in her scent.

She threw her arms around my neck and squeezed tight.

“You can’t get rid of me that easily.”

I laughed, my heart light and carefree.

“So, where to next, my Angelic one?”

She jumped from my lap, grabbed my hand and extended her wings.

“These things take a minute to get used to, don’t they?”

  I chuckled. “Yes, they do.”

She took my hand once again and looked towards the sky.

  “Take me home, Gabriel.”

I nodded and extended my wings, guiding her through the air, and back to our son.

Kadie had fought Hell and Heaven to get back to us, and as we flew towards Tabitha’s dimension and I was still very much a Fallen Angel, I realised my quest was no longer to ascend back to Heaven.

My purpose in life was to defend those who needed me, and to have Kadie fighting by my side. A powerful Witch and a mother to our son.

The next in line to rise as a warrior and protector of our people.

  About the author:

Tamsin Baker loves everything erotic. Her books can be long, short and everything in between, but they’ll all be fast paced with snappy dialogue and lots of sex. No Tamsin Baker book is the same except there won’t be a lot of angst in as she wants her books to be everything that a fictional world can be- full of happy ever afters, dirty words and sweet love. ‘Love is love’ and she tries to show that in a range of sub genre’s, from m/m contemporary to paranormal ménage. She has a need to shock people and bring up embarrassing topics at the most inappropriate times.
