Of those who answered the questions in my survey, 57% of the men and 51% of the women fantasize during sex, and 88% of the men and 69% of the women fantasize at other times. I’m surprised the percentages are that low.

  Should you fantasize? There are no “shoulds” about it. It’s normal and natural and you really can’t control where your dreams take you, during sex or at other times. Of those who responded to the survey, 75% of the men and 53% of the women have dreamed about making love to another person. Maybe it’s a film star, maybe the guy next door or the gal at the office. Have folks acted on those fantasies? Probably not. But they are fun, nonetheless.

  Sharing a fantasy can be a wonderful thing. Maybe it’s telling tales in the dark, or perhaps the two of you can actually figure a way to act it out together. However, it’s also possible that you prefer to keep your fantasies private. That’s fine, too. I have a few that even Ed doesn’t know about.
