Return to Corbin's Bend

“Oh god, Logan,” she screamed. “I thought you wanted to fuck me!”

Logan stopped spanking and paused for a moment before replying. “Was that a complaint?” he asked.

“No, no!” gasped Kirsty. She turned round to look at him, to try to gauge how serious that stern tone was. He didn’t look angry. He was unbuttoning his jeans and smiling slightly as he looked straight into her eyes.

“Good. Because I’m not going to tolerate complaints. Girls who complain don’t deserve to come. If you’re going to tell me what to do, I might just come in your pretty mouth and not let you orgasm at all.”

“No, please…” whimpered Kirsty, utterly turned on by the way he was speaking to her. It was so unlike how he spoke to her the rest of the time. I like dominant Logan, she thought. He’s filthy.

“Okay,” he said, pulling off his jeans and boxers and pulling Kirsty towards him. “Face-fucking another time. Right now I just want to get inside you.”

He had pulled her to the edge of the bed so that her stomach was still on the mattress, but her legs were hanging off the edge. He donned a condom and holding her legs firmly just above the knees, penetrated her swiftly from behind.

Kirsty moaned in pleasure. Having him hold onto her legs while he pounded into her made her feel like he was completely taking charge of the situation and she was more than happy to submit. She could feel herself coming closer and closer to orgasm with each stroke.

“You know, Kirsty,” he said hoarsely, “I’ve got the best view of your spanked ass right now. You look so damn sexy.”

Kirsty knew she was just about to come. The spanking Logan had given her had made her so ready for this. Waves of pleasure were pulsing through her as she gripped the bed and surrendered herself to ecstasy. Logan’s thrusts were becoming harder and deeper. He moved his hands from her legs to her hips as he gripped hold of her and shuddered to a climax.

Afterwards, they lay down beside one another on the bed. Logan hugged her and kissed her gently on the shoulder, enjoying lying next to her in their sweaty, disheveled post-sex languor.

“Tell me about your previous relationships,” said Kirsty, trailing a finger over his arm.

He looked at her, startled. “Now? You think when we’re naked in bed together. That’s a good time to discuss this?”

“Sure. Why not? I’m interested. You must have had previous girlfriends.”

“I’m almost thirty,” he said. “Of course I’ve had previous girlfriends.”

  “And?”

“Why do you want to know?”

“I told you about Ryan. The first time we met,” Kirsty pointed out.

“Only because you thought I was gay.”

  “Pretend I’m gay, then.”

“That’s going to be difficult considering what I’ve just been doing to you.” Logan still thinking about the view he had of her sexy punished bottom as he’d pummeled into her earlier. He really didn’t want to talk about past girlfriends with her right now. “I don’t know why you want to know. There were a few girls I had relationships with in high school and college. After college, I dated a girl called Caitlin. We were together for five years.”

“Five years. Wow. That’s pretty serious.”

“Yeah. I guess so. We split almost three years ago. It’s history.”

“Who finished with who?” Kirsty asked.

“Caitlin dumped me. I’m not really comfortable talking about this to be honest. Come on, up you get.” Logan gave Kirsty a hard smack on her rear. “We still have work to do.”

“Did you two do that together?” Kirsty said.

  “What?”

  “Spank.”

  “Kind of,” said Logan.

  “Was she into it?”

  “Not really, no.”

“You were with a girl for five years who didn’t really like spanking?” asked Kirsty, sounding incredulous.

“I mean it now. Up you get. I said I’m not comfortable talking about this at the moment. Maybe another time, but right now, the subject’s closed.”

Kirsty looked contrite as she got down from the bed and pulled her skirt back over her thighs. “Sorry, sir,” she said. “Didn’t mean to be rude. Thank you for the lovely sex.”

Logan smiled at her playful attempt to be submissive. “You’re very welcome,” he said.

“Can I have my panties back now please?”

  “Nope.”

“You want me to walk around in this skirt with no panties on underneath?”

“While we’re at your house, yes. If you need to go out later, you can have them back.”

“If you say so, sir,” said Kirsty. “I’ll just put these bits of packaging in the trash now, shall I?” She bent over to pick up the tags and discarded plastic bags from the furniture packaging, keeping her legs entirely straight as she did so, her tiny skirt rode up and Kirsty was flashing her bare backside at Logan. The sight of it, still bright pink from her spanking, almost took his breath away.

She skipped off. He felt bad about brushing off her questions about his ex. He didn’t want to hide anything from her.

The truth of it was that talking about Caitlin was still a painful subject. They had met after college through church. She seemed to be everything that Logan had ever wanted in a girl. She was demure, well-mannered, thoughtful. She was happy for him to take charge in their relationship, allowing him to make all the decisions about what they did. When Logan had suggested that they try domestic discipline within their relationship, she had agreed to give it a try.

They had read domestic discipline websites together and put rules in place. Logan was anxious that Caitlin wasn’t agreeing to anything that she didn’t feel comfortable with and yet the domestic discipline aspect never really worked. On the occasions when Logan had punished Caitlin, rather than the punishment signaling the end of the matter, it had triggered resentful looks and a bad feeling from Caitlin that would last for days. During their conversations, she had agreed to accept a spanking if she broke one of their main rules relating to the 4 D’s of domestic discipline - disobedience, disrespect, dishonesty, or dangerous behavior and yet whenever the time had come to administer those punishments, Caitlin treated him as though he were a monster. Things had come to a head when he had admitted that inflicting pain on her turned him on. That was the final straw as far as Caitlin was concerned. She had a hard enough time accepting the spankings as it was, when she found out that administering them was a sexual turn-on for Logan, she had ended the relationship.

It had been a difficult time for Logan. Logan felt responsible for the breakup of the relationship. Had he forced her into accepting spankings she wasn’t happy with? Even knowing that his two sisters practiced domestic discipline relationships with their husbands, didn’t stop him feeling like a weirdo who had jeopardized the relationship with the only woman for him because he couldn’t control his spanking urges.

To makes matters worse, Caitlin had started dating Logan’s best friend Alex. Her account of her and Logan’s relationship made Logan sound like a wife beater. He lost touch with a lot of his friends around that point. Even with his family support, Logan found it difficult to cope with his friends’ rejection.

His sister Cathy’s husband, Joe, had listened to Logan’s concerns and done his best to reassure him. It was Joe who had first told him about Corbin’s Bend. Joe had a friend who had moved there and told Logan that if his and Cathy’s job situations had been different, they’d seriously consider moving to the place themselves.

The more that Logan had thought about Corbin’s Bend, the more it had seemed like the perfect place for him. The one place where he could meet someone without having to worry about their reaction when he suggested introducing physical discipline.

Not that it was as straightforward as that, he’d realized. As much as Kirsty enjoyed being spanked, she’d not had a domestic discipline-based relationship before. Would she be amenable to the idea of following his rules and accepting punishm
ent when the rules were broken?

The heavy rain battered against all the windows of Logan’s house. The sky was dark and menacing.

“You going to be all right on your own for a couple of days while I’m in Chicago?” asked Logan, checking his plane ticket and folding it into the inside pocket of his jacket.

“Of course. I am a grown-up, you know. Have a fun time at your work conference. I hope you secure all the funding you need.”

“Not sure how much fun it will be but thanks. And thanks for feeding Jinx while I’m gone. I’ll be back in two days time,” he said.

“I’ll see you then. Stop fussing, Logan. I can cope for a couple of days with you out of town without falling apart. We’ve only been dating a month. I haven’t become that totally, pathetically dependent on you just yet.”

“That’s good to know. I’m just gonna grab the rest of my stuff from my bedroom. Do you want me to drop you off at your place on the way to the airport?”

“Yes, please,” said Kirsty. “I don’t fancy walking back to mine in this weather.”

As Logan went upstairs to the balcony bedroom to collect the rest of his things, Kirsty saw Logan’s iPhone laying on top of his stereo speakers. She picked it up intending to hand it to him when he came downstairs. He definitely wouldn’t want leave without it. The phone had been left open on a text message conversation and Kirsty’s absentmindedly ran her eye over the contents.

The first message immediately set off an alarm in her head and she read through the others quickly. Her heart felt as though it was going drop to the floor like a stone. She glanced up to the mezzanine balcony and still could see Logan in his bedroom grabbing some things from his chest of drawers. She looked back at the messages.

Sometimes I think ur the only one who understands me Logan

It will all work out I promise, I’m here for you

Thanks 4 coming up 2 see me tomorrow

Hey, I’m going to be in town anyway for work. Of course I’m coming to see my special girl

She looked at the name at the top of the text messages. Katelyn. What the fuck? Wasn’t that the name of his ex-girlfriend? What the hell was he doing making arrangements to meet up with her and calling her his special girl?

She quickly put the phone down when Logan came downstairs.

  “Everything okay?” he asked.

“Fine,” she said quickly. “Actually I think I will walk home. I don’t want to hold you up on your way to the airport.”

“Don’t be silly. It’s no problem,” said Logan. “It’s raining out there.”

“I have an umbrella. Anyway, I’m from London. I’m used to rain. Have a good trip.”

She left the house rapidly. She just wanted to get away.

On Tuesday afternoon, the phone rang. Kirsty let it go to answer phone. “Hi, Kirsty,” said Logan. “Looks like I won’t be home tonight after all. The planes back to Denver are being affected by the storm and my flight’s been cancelled. I’m probably going to stay another night in Chicago. Can you go round and feed Jinx for me tonight? Speak to you soon. Thanks.”

Kirsty had sat listening to the answer phone message while blinking back the tears. She couldn’t believe this was happening to her again. What was it about her that obviously screamed, “Treat me like a gullible idiot” to any guy she got involved with?

What she needed right now in her life, she decided, was some wine. It was still raining steadily outside, but she trudged out anyway to the mini-market in order to stock up on a bottle or two. When she got back home, she knew that if she was going to feel sorry for herself, she may as well do it in comfort and poured herself a deep, hot, bubble bath and relaxed into it, bringing the bottle of wine and a glass in with her.

Several hours later, she had to acknowledge that the wine and the bath had entirely failed to relax her in any way. She sat in her dressing gown in front of her laptop. She brought up the Chicago O'Hare airport web page and checked Logan’s flight.

There were no cancelled flights from Chicago to Denver that evening.

She felt like throwing her laptop across the room, but she held herself in check. There was no point in smashing up her own belongings over this. It would be far more sensible to smash up Logan’s belongings. Or better still, him.

What the hell else had the bastard been lying to her about? Well, given that he hadn’t felt like coming back from Chicago that evening, she had plenty of time to find out.

She dressed and went round to Logan’s. Jinx excitedly greeted her at the door. “Hello, gorgeous,” Kirsty said, reaching down to tickle him beneath his chin. “You still want to spend time with me don’t you?”

After she’d fed the cat, she walked up the stairs to Logan’s bedroom. She didn’t know what she was looking for exactly, but she felt certain there must be some evidence of his cheating if she looked for it. She started with his wardrobe, pulling out several boxes of paperwork which sat at the bottom. She emptied the box item by item pulling out bank statements and pay slips and letters from his parents and piling them up around her where she was sitting cross-legged on the floor.

She was so absorbed in this task that when she heard the front door slam below her, she let out a small scream.

“Kirsty?” came Logan’s voice. “Is that you?”

He looked up at her from the ground floor and then came up quickly. “What are you doing?” he asked quietly.

Sat on his bedroom floor with various bits of personal paperwork strewn around her, Kirsty knew that there was no possible way of denying what she had been up to. She became defensive instead.

“What are you doing here?” she said, standing up. “I thought your flight had been cancelled.’”

“Yeah, the airline decided to run it after all. The weather improved. That doesn’t really answer my question, what are you doing?”

“You didn’t think to let me know about your plans changing?”

“Your cell phone is going straight to voicemail. I left you several messages. Again, you haven’t answered my question, Kirsty. Coming home and finding you going through my stuff wasn’t something I expected to find. What’s happening?”

“I saw the text messages you had been sending to your ex! Then you told me your plane had been cancelled when it wasn’t. I wanted to know what else you had been hiding from me.”

“Come downstairs.” Logan walked down the staircase to the living room and sat in one of the armchairs. Kirsty followed him. She was still furious, but she wasn’t sure if her fury was directed at him or herself. She hated that she had been caught in such an obviously compromising position. What an idiot. She wasn’t even sure what she had expected to find anyway.

He ran his hand through his hair. “Right, I explained to you about the plane flight. The airline advised that they were cancelling the flight then they changed their mind and ran it anyway. If you’d picked up your phone messages, you’d know that. So what’s happening here? What text messages are you talking about?”

“I saw a text conversation on your phone with your ex, Katelyn. Saying that you were going to visit her when you were in town. Calling her your special girl.”

“That was my niece, Katelyn. With a ‘K’. Not Caitlin with a ‘C’. Katelyn is also my goddaughter. She’s fifteen and she’s having a difficult time of it at the moment.”

Oh God, Kirsty thought. Had she really been that much of a cliché? Seeing a girl’s name and leaping to all kinds of conclusions? “Your niece? She’s your special girl?”

“Yeah. She has been ever since she was born when I was fourteen. You’re reading my text messages, now, Kirsty?”

“I didn’t mean to. It was just there, open on the message. I read it and I thought I recognized the name. You didn’t tell me you were going to see your family and you know, you have to admit, to someone who didn’t know that whole conversation sounded pretty suspicious.”

“You could have asked me. As soon as you saw the message. You could have asked me who Katelyn
was, I would have told you.”

“But if it was another woman, you would have lied about it, anyway.”

Logan stood up swiftly and began to pace around the living room. He looked furious. She had never seen him look angry before. Seeing the fury flash across his eyes as he thumped the back of the chair, gave Kirsty a nervous shiver. “You’re not going to ask me things because you’re going to assume I’m going to lie about them? Do you think I’m lying now? Would you like to ring my sister and niece up and confirm the story? Or do you assume they might be lying too? When have I ever given you any reason to think that I wouldn’t be completely honest with you?”

“Men lie! All men lie. My dad lied. Ryan lied. Why should you be any different?”

Even as she said it, she knew it was unfair. Logan wasn’t Ryan. He wasn’t her dad. She ought to have trusted him.

Logan took a deep breath, doing his best to stay calm despite the hurt and anger boiling inside him. They needed to talk this through. Shouting and screaming wasn’t going to help matters. They needed to talk this through. At least to begin with. After they had done talking, he could think of better, more direct ways, to deal with the issue.

“Kirsty,” he said. “I know things have been rough for you in the past. Your dad and your ex-boyfriend both let you down. I understand that them being dishonest with you left you feeling betrayed.”

He thought Kirsty might argue with him. Might tell him that she didn’t need his psychoanalysis, but instead she nodded, her eyes wide and brimming with tears. “The thing is,” he continued. “I’m neither of them. I don’t lie. I never lie. You know I’ve always been straight with you. You doing this is incredibly disrespectful to me.”
