"No need to apologize for touching me. You can touch me anytime you want Jade,” Dalik said as he moved beside me and looked out the windows with me. "It is a beautiful city is it not?"
"Very beautiful. I understand why you seek a position of power to watch over it. A good city needs someone like you in charge."
"You mean, someone with power and arrogance. I'm a very dominant warrior here after all," he said as he stood up taller and stuck his chest out. His words turned me on and he was right he was all of those things, but I was thinking of something else.
"Actually, I was thinking about someone with a good heart that is just and fair. Power corrupts no matter what alien race. It takes a strong heart to not give in to the dark side of power."
He looked at me. It was a different look as though he was looking deep into my soul. I swallowed the rest of the liquid and as I did so my knees went weak. Dalik grabbed me in his arms and held me up as he said, "I think you have had enough my little scientist." He scooped me up into his arms and carried me to my sleeping bed in the corner of the room.
"Sleep well Jade," he said as he slowly lay me down on the bed. His lips were only inches from mine. And as if I had no control over myself, I reached up and kissed him. He groaned into my mouth as he kissed me back. I moved my hands to his chest and slid them down feeling every hard muscle that lingered there. His large hand rested on my belly and moved down the side of my body letting his long fingers move under my bottom and over my thigh. My legs parted instinctively and I moaned out the words, "Yes Dalik, take me. I want you."
He growled as he pressed his body on mine. I felt his hard cock grind into my thigh and I wanted him to take me. Then suddenly he pulled away from me and he shouted, "No!" He stood up from my bed and towered over me. He looked down at me, and I could only see him in a foggy haze.
"Not like this. Trust me Jade I want to fuck you so hard. I want to take you like I own you, but not like this. You have had too much to drink. I won't take you."
Then he disappeared. I fell into a very deep sleep. The best sleep I had experienced since being on earth.
The next day I could not remember very much. A vague memory of kissing Dalik and pulling him on top of me that night had faded in with the sexual dream that I had earlier that day. Were they one in the same? I was not able to tell and so I did not bring it up to Dalik who seemed to look at me differently than the first day that we had met. For now however I was too excited about going into the city to talk about anything else. Dalik was careful to wrap me up like a present. I wore one of the long dresses he had purchased for me. But on top of that I wore a hooded cloak that he pinned over my hair. He covered my shoulders and pulled the cloak closed down the front.
"I am sorry to do this. However if you want to go into the city this is how it must be. Remember what I said about the commander wanting you. He will go to any level, including taking you when my back is turned, to have you. You are safe here in the living quarters because only my handprint can open and close the door. I also have a guard station outside. However the market can be chaotic and very full. It would be easy for him to snag you from me. He could've hired many hands to do that for him by now. Do you understand me?”
"I do. I will stay by your side. I know to trust no one," I said as I bounced up and down nervously in front of him. I was ready to get out into the city. He smiled, as he looked at me up-and-down.
"Very well, let us go into the city," he said as he pressed his hand against the wall and opened it.
Moments later we were walking out of the main lobby of the Building of Orders that we lived in. I took in a deep breath as the cold air hit me. Although it was a cold planet, there wasn't exactly snow on the ground or ice. It was simply cold air. I watched as the Kalazaron alien race moved about their daily lives conducting business and walking from one area to another. It was magical to watch. Dalik grabbed my arm and led me further into the city. I looked up at all the buildings with wonder. I was very excited and soon we were in the market sitting down to sample various foods. I laughed as Dalik tried to feed me one thing after another and I either enjoyed or hated it. We had a good time.
"Now, let us go to the Iccanis fields as promised," he said as we left the market and headed toward the edge of the city in a pod that went very fast. I was impressed with the technology of the Kalazaron. Soon we were in the fields being led by the keeper of the field.
"We are honored to have you here Consulate," the keeper said.
"I have a matter to discuss with you. As you can see the Iccanis that is further out into the field is doing very well and flourishing. We planted a new field right here closer to the edge of the city and it is not doing well, we cannot figure out the source of the problem," the keeper said to Dalik.
My scientist mind immediately went to work as I looked over the field while Dalik talked to the keeper. I admired Dalik for listening to what the keeper had to say. As the new consulate it was his duty to fix problems such as this. Then it hit me. I knew what was causing the problem. Or at least it would be a good theory "
"Excuse me. If I may be so bold I think I know what is causing the problem," I said with confidence.
Dalik arched an eyebrow at me and said, "Very well Jade. Please tell us," he crossed his arms over his chest and smiled as though I was some simple female that cannot possibly know anything about this planet. He was teasing me. I would prove to him damn it.
"Well, I assume that the Icannis plant is native to the planet Kaethon, is that correct?"
"It is," Dalik responded.
"Then it is a cold plant. It thrives on the cold air. The new field is planted too close to the city. The heat that comes off of the lights at night is causing too much heat for this plant that is used to the cold. I do not know if that is exactly why, but I think it could be the reason."
"I think you may be right female human," the keeper said as he looked at the situation. "Why did we not think of this? I will test your insight and pull up a few of these plants and move them to the colder part of the field and see how they do. Thank you."
"No problem," I said as I walked with an air of confidence and arrogance. Dalik just looked at me up and down. I told him I was a scientist!
Chapter 8
DALIK MOSCURN
After our encounter in my living quarters I had to get some release. She had turned me on so much with her kiss and the words that she had said. After I left her, I disappeared into my sleeping room. I pulled off all my coverings the way that I had wanted to when I was with her. I locked the door so that she could not enter and entice me but this time I would not be able to stop. I went to my private washroom and ran icy cold water and stepped into the showering water. I waited and waited for my hard rod to soften but it did not. I was used to the cold water as a cold Kalazaron on a cold planet and it this time it did not have the desired effect. I could not go to sleep like this. I would find myself crawling on top of her in the middle of the night. I wrapped my hand around my rod and moved up and down. I closed my eyes briefly and thought about Jade, but then I felt a projection initiating! I opened my eyes abruptly. I could not do that again. I kept my eyes open to keep it from happening. I placed my hand against the wall and soon, I discharged and felt release.
Later I was pacing my room. How had my path changed so quickly? When the sun rose that day I was on a victory high from finally achieving my life purpose. I was the winner of the Stannis Trial, the rightful Consulate. It was what my father and his father had done before him. I was ready to take on this position in full force. I was the one that had proven myself worthy of such responsibilities. I had it all. Then in the blink of an eye it had changed with this victory gift from Master Bresh. I had to get rid of her, but how? If I transferred ownership of her to another than Master Bresh would think of it as an insult. No one refused a gift from the Master, it just was not done and it would be a bad start to my position. If I got rid of her and sent her anywhere else, Commander Nankor Yun would find out
and figure out a way to claim ownership of her. He would either do it by force, or he would do it by purchasing her out right. I was stuck. She was stuck. She could not leave my ownership yet I could not have her with me for long. Jade was a distraction from my life long path. If only there was a way she could go back to Earth. I stopped pacing the room and went over to the holographic wall.
“System show me Earth,” I said out loud. The holographic images began to appear on the screen. First there was a star course from Kaethon to Earth to chart for a flight path. It was not that difficult. In fact it was almost a straight shot with out much manual flying involved. After the star path was shown I swiped the screen and saw images of the planet itself. A blue planet like Kaethon only it was blue because of its oceans. In fact there was very little land mass. It was almost opposite of Kaethon. Our planet was blue because of the blue dirt under our feet and we had small oceans of water.
As I continued learning of Jade’s planet called Earth I looked at its humans. I searched for her position on her planet and found that it needed great intelligence, the scientist. I was impressed by her even more the more I learned of Earth.
An hour later I was done going through the limited information that we had. I stood up and wanted to go to her. It took great restrain and still I lost to it. I put my hand on the lock of my door and the door slid open. I crept slowly into the main rooms of the basic and saw her sleeping. Her unusual human body was beautiful to me. I watched her sleep for only a while before I moved back into my quarters. I was the Consulate. I could do what I wanted. But I was going to choose not too. That is what made me a greater Kalazaron than the likes of Commander Nankor Yun, was the control and discipline I harbored. That is what made a great leader. I was determined to be a great leader and I was not going to allow this interaction with the human female to keep me from that. Perhaps I could find a way to send her back to Earth and make it look like she escaped me. There were options, but for now I was going to do my duties. I finally fell into a sleep, a restless sleep.
The next morning I had to cover her up very well to venture out into the city because I was not going to take any chances of losing her. She was too valuable now as a gift from the Master. In truth I had to venture to the Icannis fields on my rounds for the day. It was part of my responsibility as Consulate and I had received a request to visit due to a problem.
Once we were in the fields I expected Jade to act in awe and wonderment but I did not expect that she would offer assistance in the Icannis fields. It shocked me that she was able to gage something about this new planet after being here for a short time. Her observations were very intelligent and the keeper of the field was receptive to her knowledge. It was more than I thought a female was capable of.
I was very impressed with her. She turned me on. She was on her first outing in the city and she was practically doing my Consulate duties for me. Damn. I wanted her. I wanted her now more than ever. How could I make this work? I had never wanted to take on a wife, especially not a human one, which had never been done before. But in this moment as she showed me that she could be an asset to the systems of the Kalazaron, I wanted her to be mine in name, body, and soul.
No, I had to remember what I had thought the night before, that I should try to be rid of her. Now, however I was torn. My mind moved from one view to another wanting to keep her and wanting to be rid of her, and it was already tearing me apart.
After the fields I took Jade back to my quarters. This was more than enough time to spend with her and I had more duties to attend to. I could not have her distracting me with her warm body at my side.
“I thank you for today. Seeing the market and the bustling city was wonderful. I was able to use my mind with the problem in the Icannis fields and that made me feel useful. Thank you Dalik,” she said as she stood in the doorway.
I simply nodded my head to her in acknowledgement of her appreciation. She walked in with a smile and I closed the door behind her with my handprint. Right on schedule the appointed guard appeared and I said, “Same as before. No one gets in. No one leaves. Is that clear?”
He saluted me with the palm to his chest in acknowledgement of the orders and I left to do my rounds and sit in my place of work. This was my work space in the same building as Master Bresh, only it was a few floors lower than his working spaces. I moved in and sat at a holographic screen swiping through the various system failures of the city that needed attention and new plans. I dove deep into my work. It was good. It was good to occupy my mind so that I did not think of Jade. I was making good progress. Then my communication line opened.
“Consulate Moscurn?”
“Yes, this is the Consulate,” I replied.
“The Master has requested to see you in his working space.”
“Yes, right away.”
I closed my current project and made my way to the Master’s working spaces. I assumed he had some new systems and structures for me to attend to. Instead when I arrived he had news that made me so angry that I had to restrain myself from striking the Master himself. It was unjustified and a major flaw in the brute ways of the Kalazaron warriors.
I left the Master’s office and made my way to the warrior training stations. I moved fast into the battalion war games. In a circle pit were two warriors practicing hand to hand combat with each other.
“I challenge anyone that will take me!” I roared.
“Consulate..”
“It’s the Consulate Moscurn,” various voices said.
“Who will take me?” I roared again.
Finally a good warrior stepped forward. I shook his hand and then we began to fight. I allowed him to beat me some then I would hit back. I needed to release some of this heat in my heart before I could return home. I fought two fights in all and it seemed to create great camaraderie among the warriors that someone as high as the Consulate was training with them.
Hours later I made my way back to my quarters feeling calmer but not less angry.
I could not stand to tell Jade the news after my meeting with Master Bresh. I knew that she would be heart broken and terrified. I was angry and ready to kill Commander Yun for even thinking to challenge me. He would pay for it, and he would pay for it dearly. Now was my chance to get rid of him. I would defeat him and use his own stupidity to have him banished. It was his own doing, all because he was barbaric. He was not an honorable warrior like the Kalazaron had prided themselves to be. He was something else that did not belong here. He did not belong on this planet. But she needed to know. I did not want to keep it from her. I did not want to keep it from Jade that it was not her crewmate that was in danger, but it was she that could be forced to be under the commander. But when I told Jade, I was not expecting her reaction. I would never let him have her ever. I had grown too attached to her. I wanted to scoop her in my arms and tell her it would be safe and good with me. She was mine, not just my human slave either. There was more going on here and we both knew it, but I did not think that she would be the first to admit it.
Chapter 9
DR. JADE ROBERTS
After Dalik left to conduct his business and to see what he could do about Lavender, I settled into the new living quarters. Now that I had been to the market and seen the various foods available, I felt more useful, but not as a slave. I moved through the living quarters and found a writing tool and paper. I sat down with all of the goods that we had bought at the market and began to write detailed descriptions of each of them including how they tasted. Basically, I was continuing my scientific work now that I was on the planet. I did not see a reason why I should not continue the work that I had set out to do when I had left Earth. I was continuing my study of the planet Kaethon. It was under different circumstances than what I had planned, but Dalik seemed intrigued by my mind. The fact that I could possibly have helped the Iccanis fields to prosper made me feel like I might be of help to him. He was in fact in a leadership position, perhaps my scientific analysis could help him with these sy
stems of the city. I was once again excited. Dalik did not treat me like a brutal slave; in fact in the short amount of time we had become good friends. Yes, he was quite overprotective of me, but now I knew why. It was because the commander wanted me at all costs. I had to admit that I found his protective nature to keep me safe very endearing and I was glad for it. I could only imagine the horrendous time I would have at the hands of the commander.
As I continued my work writing down my observations, I soon found myself looking out the window. Perhaps I should sketch the city from this view, it would be like a map. It could come in handy if I ever found myself out there alone. I sat down and began to sketch the maze of the city; before I knew it hours had gone by.
I heard the wall slide open, and saw a Dalik walking in. He had a scowl on his face and looked very angry. I wondered what had happened to him. Even in anger though, he was still very attractive. Seeing him for the first time after not seeing him for a couple of hours always shocked me. I was not used to seeing the alien warrior that he was. He strode into the room with long strides with his long legs. And he was very strong and had a commanding presence, and I suddenly felt guilty that my feminine independence was succumbing to this warrior.
"How did it go? Did you find out more about Lavender?"
"I did. Lavender is safe, it turns out that he was not challenging the fate of the female human. He was challenging my fate," he said as he moved to the meal preparation area and poured Icannet in a cup.
