“I think they liked you,” she agreed.
“Good, because I’m going to spend the rest of my life thanking you for what you did. I’m not going anywhere ever again.”
Ariel snuggled in even closer. “You better not.”
To anyone watching the young pair, they would seem like any other couple. None of the battles they had gone through to be together showed in any way. It would be a secret they kept from everyone but would never forget themselves.
The Black Eyed People were free now, the curse broken. They had their entire lives ahead of them to get to know each other all over again.
