“Yep. We both missed you. She’s going to be pretty excited you’re not still kicking me out.”
“Oh, will she?”
“Hell, yeah. Petunia will probably throw a party.”
“Well, I suppose I don’t want to let her down, so I guess you’ll be staying.”
“Forever.” I squeezed her hand. “I’ll be staying forever. Although, I’m wondering if we can make some new arrangements.”
“Like what?” she arched a brow.
“Like, I was thinking about what we could do with the other room now that I’ll be staying in yours.”
“You’re moving into my room now?” She laughed.
“I’m not spending another night away from you, love. It’s you and me. Always. So yeah, I’m moving into your room.”
“I suppose we could figure out something to do with the other room. Maybe a workshop for your new business?”
My smile grew, and I slung my arm around her shoulders. “Exactly what I was thinking. This is why I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
I pulled her to a stop and yanked her into my arms. “I’ll see you at home, Roomster,” I said, and she laughed before I pulled her in for the kind of kiss I intended to give her over and over again... for the rest of our lives.
