“Tell me.” She was practically bouncing up and down in her excitement.
Brody glanced at Wiley, then cleared his throat. For the first time ever, he seemed nervous. “We talked about doing this in public, in front of friends and family, but neither one of us wanted to be left out. And doing it together in front of others would cause too many questions. So, here it is.”
Her mouth dropped open when both men went down on one knee. “Oh, my God.”
They each took a hand and gazed up at her with such loving looks that her heart felt like it would burst.
Brody took a small black box out his pocket and flipped it open. But it was Wiley who took the gorgeous, sparkling diamond ring out and held it up for her to see.
“Michelle Rossin, we love you with all our hearts. Would you do us both the great honor of becoming our partner in life?” Brody swallowed, his nerves showing again.
“Your partner?” The word sounded strange. “Isn’t it supposed to be wife?”
“Yes. You can choose which one of us you want to officially marry. We both want to be that man, but it’ll be your decision. No matter who you choose, you’ll be unofficially marrying both of us. So, yeah, let me give it another try.” Brody cleared his throat again, as though that made it more real. “Michelle Rossin, we love you with all our hearts. Would you do us both the great honor of becoming our wife?”
He had to have practiced the speech to get it just right. She’d been happy when they’d brought Curt back into her life. And she’d been happy the past weeks since meeting them and calling them her men. But now she knew that something had been missing and they’d just supplied the integral piece of her life’s puzzle.
She put out her left hand and let Wiley slip the ring on her finger. “I will be your partner, your wife, your lover, but I won’t marry either one of you.”
They stood, confusion etched on their faces. Wiley lifted her hand. “But you took the ring. Why would you if you didn’t want to marry one of us?”
She reached up and put a palm on each of their strong faces. “I won’t marry just one of you. That wouldn’t be fair to the other one.”
“Then what are you going to tell everyone about the ring? They’re going to want to know who your fiancé is. They’ll expect an announcement.”
“I’m going to tell them the truth. I’m going to say that I’m in love with two men who make me happier than I ever thought I could be.”
“Wait. Even the boys?” Wiley studied her, then followed Brody’s glance toward Hope House.
“Yeah. Even the boys. Isn’t letting them see people in love a good thing? They could use seeing that in their lives.”
“But what about your job? Won’t the board or even Elbert have a problem with it?”
That was going to be hard. She knew it was. But she’d learned so much from the boys and from her men that it was time to teach all of them. “They might, but it’s time I stop holding things back. It’s time I stop keeping secrets. If they don’t like it and want me gone, then that’s their loss.”
“Wiley, we’ve got one hell of a brave woman here.”
She beamed under their admiring looks and Brody’s praise. “So does that mean you’re moving in with me?”
“With you? What about our place?”
“Don’t take this the wrong way, but your place is a pit.”
“Gee. How could we take that the wrong way?” But it was obvious Wiley wasn’t angry.
“Yeah, she’s right. It is. But that’s because we didn’t see the point of spending much on a place to live when we’re at the station so much.”
“So you’ll move in with me?”
The men agreed at the same time. “Yeah.”
“Terrific. You can move in tonight.”
“That’s good, especially if you lose your job. You’ll need us to pay the rent.”
She hated to think it, hated to hear the words pass from Brody’s mouth. But it was a possibility. Losing her job would devastate her, but not as much as denying her love for the both of them. “If I do get fired, then maybe I’ll decide to get pregnant and become a stay-at-home-mom.”
She hadn’t known what to expect, but she was relieved to see that they liked the idea. “Seriously? You’re all right if that happened?”
Wiley scooped her up into his arms and whirled her around. “Hell, yeah. And until you get knocked up, you can help out with the Firemen for Hire team.”
“Me? Fighting fires and saving damsels in distress?”
Brody snatched her up as soon as Wiley put her on her feet. “No. But we could help with the administrative work.”
She laughed and loved the sensation of spinning around in his arms. “That sounds like a plan to me.”
It didn’t matter what the future held. As long as she was with the two men who were on fire for her, the two hot men that she loved with every ounce of her being, then anything and everything was possible.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jane Jamison has always liked “weird stuff” as her mother called it. From an early age she was fascinated with stories about werewolves, vampires, space, aliens, and whatever was hiding in her bedroom closet. (To this day, she still swears she can hear growls and moans whenever the lights are out.)
Being born under the sign of Scorpio meant Jane was destined to be very sensual. Some would say she was (and remains) downright sexual. Then one day she put her two favorite things together on paper and found her life’s true ambition: to be an erotic paranormal romance author.
Jane spends at least six days a week locked in her office surrounded by the characters she loves. Every day a new character will knock on the door of her imagination. Her plans include taking care of her loving husband, traveling, and writing at least twelve books a year.
