The following morning she was up early, packing her essential possessions; she would have to return at some point for the other items. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she packed. Leaving her bag near her door she moved down the hallway and opened the door to Edward’s room. He was still sleeping peacefully. Celine moved softly to his bedside and gave him a gentle kiss. “You are great; I hope I get to see you again,” she murmured. Carefully she laid her bracelet next to his pillow. He always loved playing with it. The tears were now rolling freely as she slipped quietly out of the room. Unaware that his small hand had already wrapped itself round the bracelet tightly.

By eight, Stacey was at the door. She didn’t say anything to Celine; just gave her an understanding smile and a big hug. Celine picked up her bag and walked out onto the driveway. Her car was parked in the corner and thankfully started straight away. Without looking back, she drove down the winding drive and turned right, towards her parent’s house. She was sure of a good welcome there.

It wasn’t until she started to unpack her bag that she found the DVD. She had no idea how it had gotten into her bag, but she pushed it into the player and waited for it to load. A few moments later she saw Stacey in her corset greeting Peter. Slowly his clothes came off as they started to get intimate in the hall. Celine stared with horror, wanting to turn it off but transfixed. Peter moved along the hallway and followed her up the stairs. A moment later Celine saw the outline of a third person. Hastily she stabbed at the stop button and pulled the disc from the machine; hurling it across the room. Slowly she sank to the floor, tears flowing freely as she wondered how Peter could have been doing this at the same time as romancing her.

  Chapter 8

Peter sat in shock in his favorite chair. He had gotten back later than intended to be greeted by Stacey. Edward was already tucked up in bed. After reading the note he had demanded an explanation from Stacey, but she claimed to know nothing. He couldn’t figure out how so much could have changed in so little time! But he knew he would find her, he had to!

Celine took a week off from her studies, explaining to the tutor that she was not well. She spent most of her time in her old bedroom; her parents left her alone most of the time. But tonight was different—they wouldn’t let up. Eventually she had no option but to agree to go out with them for the evening. She knew they meant well, but she also knew she would not be good company.

An hour later she was ready, not that she had made a huge effort. Her parents strolled down the road with her, attempting to make small talk, despite the fact that she was not responding. It took just ten minutes to reach the venue for her uncle’s party. To be fair, her parents were right. Her spirits lifted a little as she chatted to various family members and friends. Suddenly she realized that she couldn’t spend the rest of her life wallowing. It was time to get back out there!

The next morning Celine woke bright and early. For the first time in a long time she looked at her running gear. Just ten minutes later she was warming up, before hitting the road. She suddenly felt alive again! It was a good half an hour before she stopped to catch her breath. It was only then that she realized she had run to within a mile of Peter’s house. It hadn’t been intentional, it was actually one of her old running routes. She quickly turned around; this was not a part of town she wanted to spend too long in! Her feet had barely started to pound the pavement again when she heard a horn; looking to her right she instantly recognized Peter’s car. Edward was waving madly at her as he shouted, “Hello Celine!!” Peter pulled in to the curb, his eyes locked on her. “Hi,” he said cautiously. “Do you know you are a very hard woman to find?” He shook his head slowly, “In fact,” he said, “It’s quite funny that all my resources couldn’t find you yet I drive right past you on the street!” Peter looked at her; his green eyes connected with hers, searching for a flicker of the love he knew was there. “Can we talk?” he asked gently. “I think you at least owe me that.”

Celine groaned, she was just starting to face the world again and then he appeared! She took a deep breath, she didn’t want to hear what he had to say; he was smooth, he could easily twist the truth and she would believe him in this state. But, she knew he was right; she owed him the chance to explain. “Okay, when are you free?” Peter smiled, a small tight smile. “Now,” he said, “You don’t think I’ll let you out of my sight again, surely?” Celine managed a small smile and moved towards the car; “You’ll have to excuse the fact I smell,” she said. “I’ve just run five miles.” Peter nodded, “I’m used to your smell anyway.” He gave a short, hollow laugh which quickly petered out.

Edward didn’t even need to be asked, he just jumped into the back seat, leaving the front ready for Celine. As soon as she sat down Edward leaned forward. He opened his hand to show Celine her bracelet. “I still have it,” he said proudly. “I take it everywhere with me!” Celine smiled. The car stayed quiet as they dropped Edward off, he gave his Dad a big hug and then turned to Celine. Solemnly he said “I will see you later, I knew you would come back.” She never had the chance to correct him as he ran into the school yard. Peter drove them to a coffee shop round the corner. “Here okay for you?” he asked gently. She nodded, anywhere public would make this easier.

Peter waited for the coffees to arrive before he started. “Why Celine?” he asked, “What happened between my goodbye kiss and my return?” Celine was startled; she thought her note had explained it all! “You happened,” she blurted out. “I showed Stacey my ring but she already knew, she told me about the fun you had that night, and the other times; including the threesome.” Celine’s voice started to rise and she realized that the other customers were starting to look. Celine paused, “I thought I was enough for you, I thought we had something special. But I was wrong.”

Peter gasped, “What on earth have you been taking? Where did you get all these ideas from?” He shook his head vigorously. “I suppose you think I went to the conference to spread it around a little.” Celine was shocked, Peter was visibly hurt, and it didn’t look like an act! After a moment, she found her voice, “I didn’t know what to think. Stacey told me about your likes and your extra-curricular activities. She even passed me a DVD showing you, her and someone else. The date on the DVD showed it was while you were dating me!”

Peter looked puzzled, “What was on the DVD?” he asked gently. “In fact,” he suddenly said. “Start from the beginning, tell me exactly what happened from the moment I left.” Celine took a deep breath and slowly retold everything she knew. As she talked, Peter shook his head, but he remained quiet until she finished. Then slowly he looked at her, “Do you really think that I would do that just before and even after proposing to you?” He paused, his eyes studying her. “If you really think that, then you were right to leave, there is no way we can build a lifelong relationship on that basis.”

A long moment of silence passed as Celine realized he spoke the truth. “What about all the things she said you did? She seemed to know about everything!” Peter nodded grimly, “I have slept with her a few times, but it was a long time ago. As for proposing, we were drunk and messing around.” He paused. The film you saw is genuine, but it happened before our relationship. Stacey tricked me into a three way. Granted, I was interested, but it was before we were dating.” He looked at her, his eyes fierce with passion. “I can’t prove that last point, you will have to take my word for it. If you can do that then we have a future; if not, then it is the end for us.” Peter leaned in towards her, “I want that future.”

Celine paused, processing the information. For several minutes she said nothing, until she realized that he was right. It was actually her that had behaved badly. She was suddenly annoyed at how easily Stacey had tricked her. “I’m sorry,” she said. “I think I have been an idiot.” Peter laughed, “No, you were just misled by an expert and someone we never have to see again!” She looked at him as he slowly took his hands in hers. “I love you Celine,” he said; “Will you marry me f
or real this time?” Celine gasped. “Are you sure that is what you want still?” she asked, her heart racing. Peter smiled as he produced her engagement ring. “Yes and I would suggest we get married as soon as Edward has finished school, to ensure there are no further miscommunications.”

Celine watched as he slid the ring onto her finger. “I had better go find something more suitable to wear then!” she exclaimed. Peter looked at her, “Are you serious?” he asked, “Would you like to do it today?” Celine nodded, “I don’t need a big wedding, you are the one I want; I see no reason to wait.” She paused before adding, “Unless you want to get a pre-nuptial agreement or Stacey’s permission.” Peter laughed. “If you are sure, I’ll see what venues are available today.” Celine nodded, “But you need to drop me home so I can get sorted!”

A few moments later they were back in his car, heading for her house. She slid Peter a piece of paper with her new cell phone number. “Sorry,” she said, “I changed it.” Peter nodded gravely and placed a hand on her arm. “Let’s never talk about this again. The future is what counts now.” Celine smiled and nodded. “Agreed.” With that she slipped out of the car to tell her parents to get ready.

Peter messaged her several times that afternoon to update her on plans. After serious consideration she drove into town with her parents and located a reasonable wedding dress. By four she was ready. Peter had secured a local hotel with beautiful gardens for an outside wedding and a small reception for them and the few family and friends who had been invited.

Her Dad proudly walked her down the aisle as her whole body tingled with excitement. That morning she had been virtually single, now she was getting married! It was certainly a mad world! Peter stood there waiting for her as the service started. “Last chance,” he whispered, “if you want to run the time is now!” “I’ve got my running shoes on ready,” she whispered back. Although of course she had on her new white heels.

Just thirty minutes later the deed was done. She was now officially his wife! Celine gasped, this was turning into quite a day! The moment the ceremony finished Edward jumped onto her, “Does this mean you will stay at my house all the time now and we can make dens every day?” he asked excitedly. Celine laughed, “Maybe not every day, but I will definitely be staying and we will make them some days.” Edward seemed happy with that as Peter pried him away from her. He grinned at his son, “Yes, Celine will be living with us from now on but tonight, you will be at your grandma’s house. Celine and I get to stay here!” Peter smiled, “But first, it is time to enjoy our reception dinner.” With that, he grabbed Edward’s hand and wrapped one arm round Celine. He guided them both towards the main restaurant and then on to a small, private function room for their small party.

The celebration went on until past midnight, then Peter and Celine excused themselves and headed for their room. She was feeling a little drunk as well as nervously excited. Peter smiled softly at her, “Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle.” He murmured in her ear as he unlocked the bedroom door. He guided her gently to the bed, his lips connecting with hers as his tongue slipped inside her mouth; dancing round her tongue. His hands ran through her hair and across the side of her face. The kiss seemed to last forever as she melted into the bed. Slowly Peter peeled her dress downwards, grateful it wasn’t a huge wedding dress. Celine was wearing a white silk thong and matching bra.

Peter traced his hand along the line of her body, marveling at her taut stomach, his hand rose up and over the curve of her bosom before sliding round behind her and unhook her bra. A moment later it hit the floor. One hand gliding across her exposed breast as his lips returned to hers. Celine moaned, her body tingled as his hands continued downwards. Hooking his fingers into her thong he slid them down her leg, exposing her moist pleasure. A moment later Peter stood back; his eyes roved up and down her gorgeous body as he peeled his top off. This was quickly followed by his trousers and boxers. Celine gasped at the impressive size of his member. Her eyes travelled across his six pack and onto his defined chest and bulging biceps.

Slowly Peter lowered himself back onto her. His hand slid up and down her leg as his tongue entwined with hers. One hand moved on her inner thigh, brushing against her most intimate part; another shiver went through her body as she tingled with delight. Peter allowed his hand to slide back and forth across her wet pussy. She gasped with every touch; she could feel a pleasure building in her body. His free hand circled her breasts; rising up, gently brushing against her pert nipple before moving across to the other one and repeating the maneuver. Her hands drifted onto his firm buttocks as his lips moved down her body. She gasped as they brushed against her nipple. A bolt of electricity shot through her body. Suddenly he clamped his teeth onto her nipple. Celine yelped as pain shot through her body, instantly replaced by a wave of pure pleasure. She could feel his fingers probing her intimate area; sliding slowly inside, gently stretching her.

Celine moaned and arched her body, pushing herself against his fingers as his kisses moved lower. Slowly he reached her groin and guided her legs apart. His tongue flicked across her sensitive parts before slipping inside her. Celine moaned instantly, feeling pleasure soaking her body; she was ready to explode as his tongue worked in and out, faster and faster. His hands had moved back to her breasts, slowly massaging them and occasionally flicking across her nipples. Celine gasped, this was amazing!

A minute later Peter moved back up her body, he kissed her lips. Celine could taste the sweetness of her own juices as he slowly guided his hard shaft into her. His lips stayed locked to hers and one hand continued to stimulate her nipple. Inch by inch he slid his hard shaft into her, slowly building the pressure until she had absorbed him completely.

Peter then started to move back and forth, slowly at first but quickly picking up speed. Celine moaned loudly as the pleasure rocked her body. Her orgasm swept across her, exploding inside her as she screamed with pleasure. A moment later she heard Peter grunting, his pace picked up as her sensitive bits eased her towards a second orgasm. She could feel it exploding inside her as Peter cried out, his own orgasm sweeping across his body. He sunk on top of her, for a moment—his energy spent.

“Wow!” Celine said a moment later as she caught her breath. “We are going to be having a lot more of that!” Peter smiled, “Now that sounds like a woman after my own heart.” “Maybe I should have married you!” Celine giggled as Peter gently rolled off her. “We have all night my husband.” She said, savoring the sound of the word. Peter nodded, “I have a feeling you will like being my wife.” Celine nodded as Peter smiled again; “You know we have more than all night, we have the rest of our lives. I am never letting you go.”

Celine smiled at him. “That might be the most romantic thing you have ever said,” she said. “But you don’t need to now, I’m already married to you, I’m a sure thing for life!” Peter raised one eyebrow. “Is that a promise?” he asked, his eyes twinkling mischievously. “Which?” asked Celine, “The fact that I am a sure thing or that it’s for life?” Peter looked deep into her eyes, drinking in the moment. “Both, I’m hoping.” He murmured softly. Celine smiled, “You got me there, they are both true.” She sighed softly, “Thank you Peter.” She paused, her face serious for a moment. “I nearly missed out on all of this because I didn’t take the time to talk to you about it all.” He laughed, “Water under the bridge and you have a lifetime to make up for it!”

Celine slowly wrapped her arms back round him, pulling him in close. “Forever starts now,” she murmured. There were literally no words to describe the joy in her heart as they started the rest of their lives together.

  Chapter 1

The day Ailish Eberle’s life changed forever started out like any other.

She got up, dressed, curled her hair and spent the better part of half an hour applying her makeup before driving to her job in downtown Chicago. She worked in the mall in a version of retail hell. The store sold trendy clothing. While she did get a fifty percent discount, the job was a huge pain in the ass. Serving whiny teens and grown up women who wanted to be young again definitely wasn’t her cup of tea.
