I walked away from him then he grabbed my arm again. “Leave me alone, Osari! Just leave me alone!” I snatched away from him. His eyes were saddened and I didn’t give two fucks! I got in my car and drove off.

“He is still young. It’s not an excuse but he does love you. Just pray on it and continue to focus on your baby,” Mrs. Snowden said.

As I sat in church the sermon really touched me. The preacher preached and the gospel songs uplifted my spirit. Osari’s mother clapped her hands, swaying side to side. She was full of life! I admired her strength because she didn’t let being blind deter her from life. My baby started crying, so I took him out of his carrier and rocked him. I grabbed his bottle from the bag then fed him. I thanked God for him because I don’t think I would have ever gotten my life together if it weren’t for him. After service was over I took Mrs. Snowden back home and, like clockwork, the caregiver was already waiting for her outside. When I got home I was tired but it didn’t stop me from searching the internet.

I saw there was a three-bedroom townhouse for rent in Towson, Maryland. It was an immediate move-in. I sent them an email. All I was waiting for was a response from the homeowner. I was moving further away from Annapolis and Osari didn’t need to know where I was moving to! He could continue to fuck Kyree from this point on!

  Chapter 28- Osari

Tassana wasn’t playing with me when she said she was done with my ass. The day I stopped over Kyree’s house and ended up having sex with her she gave me a hickey. I didn’t even realize I had one. Now, I’m really fucked! I didn’t realize Tassana’s strength until now. I disrespected her, said some fucked-up shit to her, but I did love her. When I was being a fuck-nigga towards her it was because I was fighting my feelings for her. The way she was made me deny the feelings I had. The moment I first saw Tassana I knew there was something about her. There was something I liked but also something I hated, so I degraded her. Now a nigga is sitting here looking stupid as Dez and Lee clowned each other.

“Wake-up, nigga!” Dez said to me. I waved him off then he shook his head. These niggas need to go the fuck home, so I can think in peace.

“You miss Tassana, don’t you?” Lee asked.

“Yeah, nigga, and don’t say shit about her,” I said.

“Yeah, Lee, don’t say shit about her although she shot your ass!” Dez said.

“Shut the fuck up, nigga! That’s why Shimmy is about to get another nigga to pop her cherry! Dumb-ass nigga!” I said to him. He grilled me.

“Neither one of y’all shorties fucking with y’all niggas!” Lee laughed. I called Tassana again and she didn’t answer. I was trying to give her some time but I couldn’t! I didn’t like the feeling I had. Like a typical nigga, I didn’t like being ignored! I didn’t like that she had the upper hand whether she wanted to fuck with me or not! I also didn’t like that she was in control of what nigga could go around my son. I called her again just thinking about all of that shit!

“Damn, nigga, chill the fuck out before Siri curse your ass out!” Dez said, snatching my iPhone. Lee started clowning like the shit was funny. I pulled a gun out on him then he jumped back on the couch.

“Laugh now, nigga! Go ahead! When they bury your ass and Ivanka be crying and shit, guess who is going to be laughing?” I asked him. Dez and Lee were quiet as they eyed my gun.

“You really miss that broad, don’t you?” Lee asked me.

“Let me go before this nigga fuck around and shoot me too!” Dez said, getting up. I pulled the trigger and the gun clicked. Lee was sweating bullets.

“Yeah, that shit ain’t funny, is it? That’s how the fuck I feel right now! I can’t get in touch with my shorty! I don’t even know how my son is doing! Now get the fuck out of my crib!” I said.

“Damn, Lee, you was scared! It wasn’t even any bullets in that gun!” Dez laughed.

“Nigga, you was scared too, shut the fuck up! I’m going to let you be because you are losing your mind!” Lee said, getting up. After they left I sent Tassana a text message. The bitch didn’t even respond.

I ended up at Tassana’s house and it was late. Although her car wasn’t around front I still knocked and banged on the door. I can’t see Tassana having a newborn out at this time of night. Her neighbor came out of the house then looked at me like I was crazy.

“Tassana moved, honey. She has been gone since yesterday morning,” her neighbor said.

“You know where she went?” I asked, my adrenaline pumping. This bitch got me losing my damn mind out here! I don’t even know where my son is at!

“She never told me. She just said she was getting tired of chaos and needed some peace. Goodnight,” her neighbor said. I wanted to shoot this bitch I was so mad. I got into my truck then dialed her number again. She answered the phone on the third ring.

“What do you want, Osari? Why are you disturbing folks this time of night?” she asked. I looked up and her neighbor was looking at me out of her window. I should throw a rock at that bitch. She was the one who called Tassana. I bet that bitch knows where she’s at too.

“Where are you?” I asked calmly as the veins popped out of my neck.

“I’m home, nigga! Where else would I be this time of night?” she asked.

“Where is home at?” I asked.

  “In a house!” she spat.

“Real cute, real fucking cute! How am I supposed to see my son? Are you trying to take him away from me?” I asked her.

“No, Osari, I’m not, but there will be some rules! Stop calling my damn phone so late! I do have to get my rest! I have a baby that wakes up all hours of the night! You want to see him, let me know in advance, so I can arrange where we should meet up. I’m never going to take him away from you, but I don’t need you to know my every fucking move. It doesn’t feel good, does it? Isn’t this how you used to do me? Well, kiss my fucking ass, Osari and goodnight!” She hung up on me. I looked at my phone then threw it I was so pissed. The screen shattered but I didn’t give a fuck.

I ended up in Dez’s hood, drinking and getting high with him. Niggas was standing outside shooting dice. Kyree was calling and texting me but I ignored it. I’m surprised my phone is still working. Dez was talking shit as he rolled the dice then snapped his fingers.

I went into Dez’s mother house to piss and the music was blasting. The bathroom door was cracked, so I pushed it open not thinking. When the door opened I saw Lee fucking Desiree while she was bent over the sink. I hurriedly shut the door and decided to just go in the woods. Dez walked in the house and I just looked at him.

“Move nigga, I need to piss!” Dez said.

“Your mama said she on the toilet,” I said.

“Nigga, my mama went out! I didn’t see her come in! You fucked the bathroom up, didn’t you? Nigga, we got air freshner! Don’t be embarrassed! Now, move!” he said, storming down the hall. As bad as I had to piss I couldn’t leave.

“Nigga, you fucking my mama?” Dez shouted then I heard crashing noises and tumbling. Desiree started screaming for help. Only in the hood!
