“No, Cilla, I’m not angry.”
He brushed her lips again.
“You said once if love were enough you would have had the son Robert needed. But if you had, I would never have met you. I would not be married to you now.”
He placed his palms on each side of her face.
“Love is enough, Cilla. For the two of us, no matter what life brings in the future, our love will conquer it.” As he drew her closer, brushed her lips with renewed passion he promised, “for us, Cilla, love will always be enough.”
