We kissed each other and rocked our hips against one another until our toes curled. We grabbed onto the sheets as if we were in danger of falling off. Jason stiffened and thrust deep inside me, encouraging a loud and primal moan to escape my mouth. When we had spent all our energy, I lay tight against him as he embraced me. We were both dripping sweat, but neither of us wanted to let go.
“I love you, Mrs. Powers.” Jason nibbled on my neck after a few minutes of quiet recovery passed.
I smiled. “I love you, Mr. Powers.”
He squeezed me tighter against him.
“What do you want to do now that we’re married?” He pushed some strands of wayward hair off my forehead.
“I think we just did it.”
Jason let out a quiet laugh and squeezed me again.
A cool breeze came in through the window, cooling our hot skin. We both sighed in satisfaction. The wind died down and all we could hear beyond our breath was the crashing of waves outside.
“Actually.” I opened my eyes and looked out the window towards the ocean. “Going for a swim doesn’t sound half bad right now.”
“Swim where?”
I pushed up off him and look at him with that devilish smile he taught me.
“The ocean?” He raised his eyebrows.
“Why not?”
He sat up with a new bout of energy. “This is why I love you, Mrs. Powers.”
We both pushed off the bed and he began walking towards our patio door which led out to the ocean.
“Jason!”
He stopped and looked at me. “What?”
“You can’t go naked.”
“Why not?”
“First of all, you’re practically a celebrity. There could be paparazzi hanging out somewhere.”
Jason shrugged and continued reaching for the door handle.
“Second,” I warned. “It’s against the law!”
Jason stopped. “Is it?”
I shrugged. “I’m pretty sure it is. Indecent exposure perhaps?”
“What are we going to wear then?” Jason furrowed his brow.
I bit my lip and looked at the white dress crumpled on the floor, followed by Jason’s immaculately folded suit on the chair by the desk.
Jason’s face cracked into a devious smile.
Minutes later we were in the ocean. If any paparazzi just so happened to be lingering by the beach that night, they would have had an hour’s worth of photos of a newlywed couple, dressed in a wedding dress and a designer suit, playing and having fun in the tall ocean waves.
