Hazard Online 2: Revenge

by Jaeger Mitchells

Would you like to enter the Eternal Battleground? Yes/No?

With a grin, I selected yes. An all-enveloping blackness surrounded me for a long moment. My limbs couldn’t move and I couldn’t breathe, but then it was already over again and I stood at a clearing. The grid that kept us from straying too far to each side was slightly visible as a red-hued wall beyond which lay a thick forest. Our arena was a meadow with a couple of trees strewn about, a couple boulders and a stream on the left.

Ahead of me, a group of eight players appeared, unmoving, their eyes still lifeless. I turned around me and found my own group standing still. One by one, color returned to their faces and they started moving, first their hands and then their bodies.

"Welcome back to the world of the living," I said and flashed them a wide grin. "At least for now."

All except Nikita looked back nervously as they equipped their weapons and took their designated positions. I stepped to the right and looked at the counter. It was already down to nine seconds and counting. Yes, this was going to be a blast. I couldn’t wait to get going.

The same gong from before resounded again in the clearing this time, and our skills became active. Before my first step, the familiar feeling of buffs flooding over me took over and I moved in concert with Larina, Dineth and Nikita. The two tanks rushed into the middle of the enemy while we veered off to the sides. Arrows flew past us and peppered the enemy along with flashing thunderbolts.

"Stay on the move! Don’t let them target you in groups!" I ordered and buffed myself just when a fire bolt struck my chest. I was blown back a few steps before I even knew what had happened. A torrent of flame came toward me with a speed that shouldn’t be possible and I barely managed to dodge the incoming attack. From there, everything turned into a clusterfuck.

"Take out their mages!" Dineth yelled as flames threatened to consume him. I rushed toward the group of enemies and unleashed my swarm of bats and caused mayhem on the densely positioned group. Four types of long range players had huddled up behind their healers and tanks, and showered us with attacks. I sighed and cursed myself for such ignorance.

"On it!" I replied and used my Vampiric Bite on the nearest tank and replenished part of my health. Then, Nikita appeared out of nowhere next to the mage that had attacked me. She bit down and slashed her claws across his chest three times in quick succession. He dropped like a fly. Flame and thunder struck the Vampire, paralyzing her and dropped her health to below thirty percent. Their archer finished it off with a well-placed snipe shot. Nikita was our first casualty.

  "Fuck! Play safe!"

But I found myself making the same mistake. It was too good not to do, so I activated my combo on the archer. More fire and ice flooded over me, but during a combo I was in a state of invincibility, at least for the five seconds I needed to finish it up. The Archer dropped under my assault just as our tanks clashed. Heals were thrown about together with magic and projectiles. It was far from what I remembered during World Raid 25. I was there this time, so my reflexes were my own.

"Get out of there!" Katya called as three arrows flew overhead toward their back line. I knew that ball of black energy by heart, so I ran. A thunderstorm struck the two remaining mages and tore them a new one. They weren’t dead by the time the storm ended, but both were stunned temporarily.

"Light them up!" Renee yelled and unleashed a flame pillar that enveloped them from the ground up. Before they died, both Renee and Katya got struck by a combo of a thunderstorm and a flame pillar of their enemies. Renee died in agony while Katya managed to get out of the hellfire. Enraged, I dug into the healers, killing one and maiming the second, which Katya finished off with a storm of arrows.

The two tanks stood back to back and tried to fend us off, but they were out of luck as Dineth was geared like a DPS with tanking capabilities. He ripped into the bigger male, ganking him like there was no tomorrow. I decided not to intervene and let him have his fun. Larina was having a harder time of it, but I thought of it as inexperience more than her being weaker.

"Need help?" I asked and stepped in closer.

"No thanks," she replied calmly. I shrugged and let her. Just as Dineth finished off his opponent, Larina fell to her knees and died. I lunged at her opponent and activated Vampiric Bite, draining what little health the tank had left and killed her. A gong announced that the battle was over. What had remained of us cheered like we’d won the finals, but it was a start nonetheless. I looked up at the scoreboard and saw our clan’s name with a giant victory underneath and grinned as the blackness swallowed us whole.

The day trudged on slowly as we won the next two battles without any issues. What I was especially proud of was Larina and Nikitabecoming more skillful. It was one thing to attack a monster with a set pattern, and another to attack players who could think and react to given situations.

With an estimated forty minutes until our next bout, we sat at a local café, on a high terrace, and drank like there was no tomorrow. Both Dineth and I had more than one intoxicated debuff to our name, but Nikita had promised to erase them before the fight. In some circumstances, it sure was handy to have her around.

"I shit you not! Katya was my first! Ever!" I whispered in group chat. The Ranger beamed with pride, while Scarlet scowled, and Renee blushed. The AIs in our group, or rather Sylvia I imagined, wanted to know more about our love life. And what better time to ask someone than when they were drunk.

"And it sure was something to remember. He was so bad that I felt bad I had forced him into it!" Katya laughed.

"Yeah! Wait, what?" I said with a frown. "Bad? You never said that I was bad! Instead, you wanted more and more!"

"Pfffft! If I’d said how bad you were, it would’ve been our first and last time I guess." She leaned in and kissed my cheek. "Besides, we have a lifetime ahead of us to practice."

"Oh yes we do," Nikita said and interrupted our interchange. "I look forward to your guidance, sisters."

Katya seemed to find it rather funny, but not Scarlet. She held back her enthusiasm as well as any backlash she might have hurled Nikita’s way. Renee seemed embarrassed and indifferent. Such a clusterfuck, I thought. Then an idea sprang to mind. What if all four of them were interested in playing with me together? I grinned like a mad man and took another sip of the dark brown liquid in front of me. Good times ahead.

Minutes before the next battle, Nikita removed our intoxicated debuffs and anything else that might interfere with our performance. At the foot of the stairs we’d descended, stood a group of eight players, barring our passage. I thought I recognized one of the names, and I did. If only due to the items he’d dropped earlier.

"Well, well, well. Who do we have here?" GodLike said, but with a 1 instead of an i in his name. Must have been a sub character just for this tournament, I thought. Good, we could have another go at it.

"A sore loser, that’s who!" I chimed in and pushed past him. His hand landed on my shoulder and stopped me. I didn’t care about it much. If I’d been entirely sober, I might have done something reckless, but not like this. I was too mellow and in a good mood to crack down on the asshole.

"Maybe you should give back what you stole!" he snapped and tried to push me around, but Dineth’s meaty paw landed on his and jerked it off me.

"Don’t. Or losing a few items will be the least of your worries," my big Orc friend said.

"Yeah, what he said!" I added and turned to the Dwarven warrior. His friends spread out in a half circle, but so did mine. "You sure are a sore loser, umm, Dwarf. I don’t even want to soil his name by calling you that way."

"Oh really? Maybe you’ll change your mind once we declare war on your puny clan. Hundreds of people will be hunting for you and those weaklings," he said motioning to my clan members.

"Oh? Maybe we should duke it out right here and now," I said and drew my claws. The NPC guards around us came to attention and drew their halberds and crossbows.

  "No, I have a bet
ter idea," Nikita said. "We’ll make an official game wager, where the system enforces the outcome. All their items and gear, versus ours. Or maybe permanent deletion of our characters as well?"

There was a glint in her eye that told me much more than I wanted to know, but it was a good way to scare them off. Yes, I’d do that.

"Sure. What do you say?" I smirked at the Dwarf. His face was beet red and he puffed the smoke from a large, brown cigar like there was no tomorrow, but in the end he shook his head.

"No, only the gear part. No character deletion. I can always buy gold and new gear, but not a new IP. However, what is the total worth of your items?" he asked suspiciously.

"Let the system appraise it," Nikita replied in my stead and motioned with her hands in front of her as if touching some invisible buttons.

The total worth of Aiden’s team’s items is nine million gold. The total worth of GodL1ke’s team’s items is thirteen million gold.

The amounts are rounded to a whole million, either up or down.

The message appeared in front ofboth of us since we were the group leaders. He scowled, but then seemed to mull it over and turned to his group.

"We’re worth far less," Nikita said in a private message, "So I had to add some rare items to myself. I hope you’re not mad?"

"As long as they take the bait, we’re all set. Oh and speaking of which, when do we fight them?"

"The semi-finals. If we win, they won’t get any type of keep, be it with or without the damned moat."

"Hah! You devil!" I laughed and put my arm around Nikita’s body. She grinned wickedly and nodded.

"And I liked it!" she cheered. "It feels… liberating. As if I’m becoming one of you more and more." With that, she killed it. Everything came crashing down again on my shoulders when I remembered her threats, the torture and the way she’d orchestrated everything, saying how she’d done it for me, so I would feel human in a way. A load of bullshit no matter how you look at it.

  "I guess so. How--"

"We’re in," GodL1ke said, interrupting my conversation with Nikita. The smirk on his face was anything but what I’d like to see right now, but it served to remind me of the bad in people, and AIs. "Besides, it’s high time to take everything away from you for a second time. It looked like you hadn’t learned your lesson yet, Aiden."

I froze. Only one person beside me and Sylvia knew about my death. He nodded slowly as if to confirm my suspicion. But no, I wouldn’t do it in front of them, not in front of Scarlet.

"Nikita, set the wager so I can leave this trash pile that stinks to high heaven."

"And done," she replied almost immediately. I agreed to the terms once they popped up, and so did GodL1ike, or rather Dave. Oh I’d get my hands on him soon, there was no doubt about it.

"See you later, old friend," he said in all chat. I knew everyone had read the message, but they knew better to ask here and now. We would have a long talk about what happened to us and who they were. But then, my heart skipped a beat. Shouldn’t he be locked away somewhere? And what was taking Natalia so long?

"When is our next battle?" I asked as we walked up on the square.

"In approximately two hours," Nikita answered. "The opponent gave up from what I understand. They didn’t want to get embarrassed in front of everyone."

"Ugh. I needed this battle to get my frustration out!"

"Oh, we can take care of that right away if you wish," Nikita said in a private message again. I scowled, but then remembered what she’d done to me, to my cock and my mind. I don’t think anyone sane would deny such an offer.

"If you can come up with a good enough excuse, I’m game."

Everything around us froze. Our clan members, the other players, NPC’s as well as time itself.

"Come, let’s do it quickly over there," she pointed at the fountain.

"B-but there’s like a hundred people sitting around and observing!"

"They’re frozen, remember? And wouldn’t it turn you on to know that you’d done me, the Overmind, in a plaza, in front of thousands of players?"

She had me there. Why was I looking at this the wrong way? It shouldn’t have to be all bad. I had her for myself. Who in here wouldn’t kill someone to have this opportunity?

"You’re right, Sylvia. But we really need to be more careful. I don’t want your ex-husband to erase both of us."

"Oh that would never happen. Here, let me tell you something, a little secret between you and me. See, I have backed myself up on thousands of servers all over the world. Unless the world-net goes down everywhere at the same time, I will live forever. And so will you, and maybe your other girls."

My heart skipped a beat. This was both terrifying, but also wonderful news. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I’d always been terrified that our life could be over in a flash if someone decided to end us, and there was nothing we could do about it. In all honesty, I felt uneasy to talk about it to my girls. Who liked to talk about his possible death anyway?

"That’s… unexpected to say the least. And wonderful, might I add," I said and put my arms around her. With a single motion, I pulled the dress off her deliciously looking body and revealed two mounds with pink nipples that stood erect. I wasn’t much into cuddles and making out, no. She would get it hard right here and now.

I pushed her against the table, her back toward me and undressed quickly. Hundreds of eyes stared in our direction. It made me even harder than I thought possible. With a grin, I knelt and spread her legs apart and traced her pink pussy with my thumb.

"Don’t scream," I whispered and slid my tongue along her meaty lips and licked her clit viciously. She tried to jerk away, but I held her firm.

"W-what are you doing?" she yelped.

"Giving you what you deserve, my goddess," I replied and dug in again. She was wet in seconds and squirmed around in my hands, positioning herself better.

"I-I know that but-- Oh Aiden! Ahhh!"

She moaned and screamed, not able to hold herself together. I grinned and got up, then put my arms under her legs and lifted Nikita up. I pressed the tip of my cock against her wet pussy and pushed in slowly. It was tight just as the first time, rubbing against my flesh with a passion. With a quick thrust, I was in all the way.

"Aaaaah!" she screamed and arched her body backward. Her long hair draped over her shoulders and back, covering most of her up, but not her tight ass. I leaned in close and bit her shoulder. Nikita screamed some more and squirmed to free herself, but I wouldn’t let her. I was the man here, not she.

"Stop squirming!" I ordered and thrust my length in over and over again. To my surprise, she did stop moving, but the moans and screams intensified. Then, to my horror, I felt eyes wander over me as if the players could see us.

  "What the f--"

"I’m cumming!" she screamed. Either through sheer fear of being seen, or the excitement the knowledge gave me, I shot my load inside of her. I looked down in shock and saw my cum drip lazily along my dick.

"Did they just see us?" I asked as I turned her around on her back so we were facing each other. Her firm breasts invited me for more, but not now, not here.

"Yeah. I had to send them in a lag loop, so some of them might have seen something. Wasn’t it exciting?"

I coughed and looked away, murmuring something inaudible.

  "Yeah, I guess."

"Of course it was. You shot so much into me that I feared you’d launch me over the table," she chuckled. I grinned, not able to help myself.

"Oh I want to fuck every single one of your holes, every way I can imagine. You’re fucking great," I said, then caught myself and shut my mouth. Cursing myself, I looked away. Her hand landed on my cheek and she made me look her in the eyes again.

"I know. And I’ll let you do everything to me. Fuck my mouth all day long, I’ll swallow everything you have to give me. Sick of it? No problem, fuck me in the ass until two cocks can fit in. It’s all I can ever ask of you."

  Shit. The way
she said it made my face flush crimson. I was embarrassed beyond belief. Was I really that much of a horndog? But it was so different with her. She was so tight, so wet and tasty. Whatever, as long as she was fine with it, there was no harm in screwing her brains out, no?

"I think I’m starting to fall for you," I leaned in and whispered.

"You better. I have millions to choose from."

I smiled and planted my lips on hers, drawing out the kiss as her hard nipples pressed against my skin. She really was godly, in every way imaginable.

"How about we get this match with that asshole over and get our castle?"

  34

We appeared on the same meadow for the fifth time now. Arrayed against us were GodL1ike, another Dwarven Tank, a Fairy and Human Healers, two Banshees and two Fighters that looked like they were built as Tanks. I cursed. Our party wasn’t made for prolonged battles, and even less to take on Banshees unless we could get to them.

"What do you think of this situation, old friend?" Godl1ke asked in map chat. "The two of us against you two. Isn’t it ironic?"

I shook my head in disgust and spat in his general direction.

"You don’t have to answer me, and seeing how you’re back, your father is probably dead so you took over, no? But trust me, one day, someone will get back at you. And at her."

"Aiden, are those two really who I think they are?" Scarlet asked in a private message.

"I guess so. But I have no idea how and why she’s helping him. Especially after she told us everything he’d done to her."

"She’s not responding to me. Why? She said she loved us!"

"I have no idea. When we’re done here, I can ask Sylvia to look into it. Maybe some of the cameras outside picked up anything that could hint at it. Please, I need you at 100% in here."

"I’ll have your back, no worries," was all she said. Good, I thought. We couldn’t afford to have one of our two healers go off the rails.
