Possession: Blue Line Book Two

Just the idea of getting this woman pregnant with his kid had Bryan speeding up his thrusting, gripping her legs with one arm while balancing himself with the other, and pounding into her at a frantic pace.
His balls tightened, drawing up close to his body. His spine tensed with arousal, and the orgasm began to bear down on him before he could stop it. Thankfully, Lexis seemed to be on the exact same track, her mouth gaping a silent moan of ecstasy, her eyes wide open and firmly locked with his.
“Come with me, I want to feel your sweet cunt squeezing my dick like it never wants to let go.” His filthy words seemed to trigger something inside her, and screams like he had never heard before clawed out from her throat. Her body convulsed and seized beneath him, and the fluttering of her inner muscles set off his own release.
As much as he desperately wanted to watch every second of her orgasm, his eyes slammed shut at the intensity of his own climax. Squeezed closed so tight that colors exploded behind his eyelids. His hips lost all sense of rhythm as they pistoned violently against Lexis, his cock spilling spurt after spurt of cum straight into her writhing body. Everything outside the pleasure ricocheting through his body ceased to exist. Only the wet heat of Lexis’ body and her slick skin against his registered in his narrowed brain space.
“Bryan, oh god, Bryan.” Lexis’ yells filtered into his still stupefied head, but instead of pleasure, her voice sounded panicked.
His eyes flew open in time for them both to tumble off the end of the bed, but thankfully, he had just enough warning to roll slightly so all his weight wouldn’t land directly on top of Lexis. They came to rest on the floor in a tangle of limbs, both laughing and still struggling to catch their breath. During the fall his dick had slipped from her, and it made a wet slapping sound as it smacked against his thigh.
Once they regained a modicum of their composure, Bryan rolled onto his side, facing Lexis, and propped his head up on his hand. She mirrored his position.
“That was fucking incredible.” Now that the sexual intensity of the past couple of hours had passed, a warmth spread through his chest, filling empty spots in his body and soul he had never realized were there before.
A sweat-dampened lock of Lexis’ hair fell over her shoulder and across her breast. Bryan reached out and moved it back behind her, so he once again got an unobstructed view of her spectacular tits.
“Fuck, it really was.” Lexis’ eyes widened, in obvious awe of his sexual prowess. “I realize I haven’t had sex in almost three quarters of a decade, but I do not remember it ever being like that.”
Bryan couldn’t prevent the cocky grin stretching across his face if had wanted to. Which he really didn’t; he was damn proud of the pleasure he had brought his woman. His. Woman. “It has only been seven months since I last had sex, but that is like seven years in man-time. But I can absolutely confirm that sex has never been like that before with me either.”
“Man-time, huh?” Lexis smirked at him, laughter dancing in her eyes.
“Yup. We’re like dogs, every month we go without getting inside pussy feels like a year.”
Lexis pulled back her arm, totally telegraphing her intention to punch his bicep. Bryan flexed, ready for the hit. Which stung considerably more than he expected it to, considering how much smaller she was than him.
“Well, you got the dog part right, at least.” She giggled and rolled her eyes at him, something Bryan had a feeling he’d be making her do a lot in their lives together.
“Yes, that was some incredible sex. But I still think we can do better.” He squinted his eyes at her, trying to make it seem like he was calculating exactly how he would top what they just did.
“Oh yeah? I don’t know Officer Coy, you set the bar very high on your first time out. I think you’re going to have a very hard time topping that.”
Another chuckle and eye roll from her made his heart soar. He didn’t give a shit if this was their first date, or if he had only known her for six months; this woman owned his heart.
“That sounds like a challenge. I never back down from a challenge. There is only one thing I take more seriously than a challenge.”
“Oh yeah, and what is that?” Lexis leaned forward, her nose grazing against his neck.
“A dare.”
“Well then, I double dog dare you to make me come harder than you just did.” She licked along his Adam’s apple, and the only thing Bryan could do in response was growl and tackle her back to the floor for round two.
Chapter Eight
Lexis
Lexis attempted to stretch her stiff limbs. Attempted being the operative word. She couldn’t move more than an inch in any direction before she encountered unyielding muscles. Not her own. None of her muscles were that corded or bulky.
The edges of her deep sleep crept away, and awareness slowly overtook her fogged mind. She shifted her hips, but that slight movement apparently woke the beast behind her, his arms and legs tightening around her even more, and drawing her body flush against his once more.
Peeking one eye open, Lexis looked over her shoulder to find Bryan’s face buried into her sex-tangled hair. While most people might call this position spooning, it didn’t seem to cover exactly how cocooned Bryan had her. Maybe she could make up a new term for his preference for close sleeping. He was the envelope to her letter. The straightjacket to her crazy person. The tortilla to her taco. The tongs to her bacon.
Okay, maybe she was just super hungry.
As if proving her point, Lexis’ stomach rumbled. Bryan’s hand stroked down from where it had been cupping one of her breasts and stroked her belly, as if his touch could quiet her need for sustenance.
“Five more minutes,” he grumbled in her ear.
Lexis chuckled and snuggled back into him a little more, feeling his cock stir against her ass. “You tell that extra appendage between your legs to simmer down. You fuck me one more time before I get food in me, and I might have to punch you again.”
Bryan’s hot breath scattered her hair as he laughed against her neck. “Good to know. Feed Lexis first thing in the morning.” Slowly, he untangled his limbs from around her heated body. “I feel like I should start a list of Lexis rules. Like they had for the gremlins in that movie. Rule one, if you don’t give Lexis sex when she demands it, watch out. Rule two, always feed Lexis before devouring her in the morning. Rule three, always bite her nipples while fucking her with your fingers.”
Never in her life had Lexis laughed so much with a man. Before Ashton came along, the men she slept with had left her crying or steaming angry. But Bryan just left her feeling like a big puddle of aroused, amused goo.
“Okay, I’ll make breakfast. You grab a shower.” Bryan leapt from the bed without any warning, and slapped her ass on his way to the bathroom. After a few minutes he emerged, looking like he could take on the world, while she still loathed the idea of crawling out from the warm bed. “Come on, sleepy head. Grub in twenty minutes. Get a move on.”
Bryan marched down her hall, totally unconcerned with his nakedness.
“Are you a morning person?” She called after him. “Because if you are, we are going to have some issues. And if you plan on making anything other than cereal, may I suggest putting your underwear back on, crazy-man?”
His footsteps stopped, then he turned and strode back into the room, his half-hard cock bouncing side to side as he crossed the room to where his clothes had ended up the night before. “Good call on the undies. Bacon grease and balls do not mix.”
Lexis smiled through her faster-than-normal shower. Hummed and grinned while picking out her clothes for the day and braiding her still-wet hair. Then damn near skipped down the stairs as the scent of pancakes, bacon, and coffee filled her home.
A sight she never thought she would have the pleasure of seeing waited for her in the kitchen. Bryan, shirtless, wearing nothing but his boxer briefs, stood at the stove, flipping pancakes, turning bacon, and sipping coffee. For just a moment she stop
ped in the doorway and admired him. He seemed so at ease in her space. Like he had always been there. And always would be.
Despite his previous reputation for being a bit of a slut, Lexis had no reservations about opening her life and heart up to Bryan Coy. Something in the way he looked at her made her feel safe. Almost loved, though it was far too soon to be throwing around the ‘L’ word.
He must have felt her looking at him, because he turned and winked at her, then motioned for her to take a seat. Before she could even blink, she had a plate with triple the amount of food she would normally eat in front of her, and a cup of coffee in her hand. “Damn, this is some great service!”
“This is nothing, babe. After breakfast, I plan to give you at least a handful of orgasms before I have to leave for my shift.”
Bryan sat across from her, and they lapsed into easy conversation about their day ahead while eating the filling meal. She could picture this, them sharing meals as well as their lives on a daily basis.
The only thing missing was Ash.
Unfortunately, the morning moved far too quickly, and before she knew it, Bryan had to leave for work. But not before he fulfilled his promise of making her come several more times. The man was a machine.
“Fuck, never before have I wanted to go to work less than I do right now.” Bryan held her hips firmly against his and ran his nose against her neck, something he seemed to love doing. Lexis trailed her hands up the thick layers of clothes and flak jacket covering his chest. His job made her nervous, but she knew he loved it and excelled at it, so she would just have to live with it if they planned to continue this new relationship.
“When can I see you again?” His whisper in her ear sent shivers racing down her spine.
The first thought that came to her mind was as soon as possible. But she had Ash to think about. As much as she wanted Bryan every day, starting right that moment, Ashton was totally unaccustomed to men being a part of their lives. She would need to ease him into this.
“I want to say tonight, but Ashton will be here, and I’m not sure I’m ready for you to spend the night while he’s here.” She hated the disappointment she saw in Bryan’s eyes. He recovered quickly with his patented boyish grin, but that brief flash of defeat would stay with her.
“I understand; he’s your son and you have to protect him.” Bryan took her hands in his and crouched down slightly so they were eye to eye. “But I want you to know that I’m all in on us. So I would really like to spend some time with the two of you. Let him get used to having me around. And maybe if that goes well, I’d eventually like to spend some time one-on-one with him so we can start to build a relationship, too. If that is okay with you, of course.”
Lexis lowered her head in an effort to hide the wide smile that slipped its way onto her face. This man was something else. Something she had never known existed. He was her unicorn. A tall, buff, hot, redheaded, sweet, gentle, well hung, fabulous in bed, unicorn.
Instead of responding to his request, Lexis raised her lips to his, taking them in a slow, sensual kiss.
When they separated, Bryan growled in frustration, obviously not wanting to leave.
“Go, Officer Coy. Serve and protect and all that noble stuff.” She smiled and pushed her hands against his chest.
Reluctantly, he took several steps back, watching her as he crossed the lawn to his squad car at the curb. Lexis bit her lip, trying in vain to hide her smile again.
“Fuck, woman, don’t bite your lip like that. You did that right after I made you scream my name last night.” He stopped halfway to his car, teetering on the balls of his feet like he wanted to sprint back to her.
“Alright, stud. Get out of here.” Lexis laughed and backed up into her house, then closed the door before he could bum rush her and take her back to bed.
Lexis wandered through her house. Mondays were her slow day, her day to recover from a busy weekend of running Ash to activities and doing her adult toy parties. But she felt energetic and happy. Too pumped full of happiness and endorphins to just sit around like she normally would. Maybe she should finally clean out Ashton’s closet. He still had clothes in there from two years ago. It could definitely do with a good paring down.
She’d made it halfway up the stairs when the doorbell rang, and a giddy grin appeared on her face. Bryan would be late if he didn’t get going soon, though she was happy he wanted to see her one more time.
“Did you forget—” Her joy quickly extinguished when she swung the door open to find not Bryan, but her slightly creepy neighbor on her front stoop. “I’m sorry, I thought you would be someone else. Can I help you with something, Wyatt?”
The man plastered a fake smile on his face that Lexis quickly saw through. His yellow and brown teeth made her stomach queasy, but she tried to hide the disgust from her face.
“Sugar.”
Lexis tilted her head and looked at him with a confused expression. “Sorry?”
“That’s what neighbors do, right? Give each other sugar?” Wyatt’s eyes wandered down her body, lingering on her breasts and legs. Completely skeeved out, Lexis crossed her arms over her chest. “I’m baking. Don’t have sugar, thought I could grab some from you and avoid a trip to the store.”
“Oh. Um, sure. How much do you need?” Lexis just wanted this guy gone. But she also didn’t want to be rude. They were neighbors for the foreseeable future, after all.
“Cup should do it.”
“Okay, stay right here, and I’ll be right back with it.” Lexis turned, closed the door behind her, leaving him outside. She padded into the kitchen, where just a couple hours before, Bryan had made her breakfast then eaten her out on the kitchen table. She wished he was still there. That he could deal with the weird man at her door and she could wash her hands of him.
“So, what’s with the cop car in front of your house all night?”
Lexis jumped and spun around with the sugar container clutched to her chest. What the fuck was this guy doing following her into her home uninvited? Not wanting to let on how truly scared she was at that moment, Lexis smiled and moved to the other side of the kitchen, farther away from Wyatt. “It belongs to my boyfriend. Officer Bryan Coy. He’s with the Middleburg Police Department.”
The guy nodded, looking around her home as if he was searching for something he had lost. “He spend a lot of nights here?”
“Yeah. A lot. He’s pretty possessive and doesn’t like to be gone for long.” She knew she was way overexaggerating their relationship, but at that moment she felt the lie protected her, that it might keep this guy from doing anything that might harm her. But he didn’t make a move for her. Instead, he rooted himself in the doorway to the kitchen. The only exit.
“And the little boy I see running around. That your kid, too?” His beady eyes slid back to her once more, with no hint of why he was asking these questions.
“Yup, that’s our son.” More lies. Sweat broke out along her back, dripping down and making her shiver. Back in the day, Lexis had hung with a pretty rough crowd. Bikers and drunks, mostly. But none of them ever gave her the sense of unease like this guy did.
“Huh. Had no idea when I bought the place next door that a cop practically lived next door. Nice to know the neighborhood is safe.” Wyatt didn’t look happy about the idea of having law enforcement nearby. Though his face remained impassive, his eyes betrayed the anger he obviously hid.
“Yeah, extra bonus for you.” Lexis held out the bag of sugar to him, not bothering to measure out a cup. That would take too long. “Here’s the sugar. You can just take that. I need to get ready for work.”
Wyatt took a step closer, grasped the sugar, and pulled it back while he let his gaze bore into hers. “Thanks, neighbor. Tell that son of yours I said hi.”
The breath froze in Lexis’ throat. He might not have threatened Ash in so many words, but the message was clear.
Wyatt turned and walked back through the house. Once the click of the front door latch echoed
through her still house, the air whooshed out of Lexis’ lungs, and she stumbled to the table and leaned against it for support.
What the hell kind of men had moved in next door?
Chapter Nine
Bryan
The Blue Line Bar was fairly quiet, which wasn’t unusual for a Monday night. Even so, a few of the regular badge bunnies milled about, looking to see if they would snatch up a strapping young cop for the night.
Before he’d laid eyes on Lexis all those months ago, Bryan would’ve been more than happy to take one of them up on their offer. Maybe even two. But now, he didn’t even give them a second glance. There was no comparison between them and his Lexis.
For the first time that he could remember, he didn’t want to be sitting at the bar, sipping his quickly warming beer. He wanted to be in bed, with his woman tucked against his body, the taste of her pussy still rich on his tongue. But Lexis had made it clear that she needed time before she would be comfortable integrating him into her and Ash’s daily lives.
And Bryan understood that. He did. But he couldn’t stop his desire to make them his family. He didn’t want to take things slow. He wanted his future to start immediately.
A deep sigh blew through his lips as he recalled the acrobatic, and fun, sex they had all night after their date. He’d never laughed, and come, that much in one night in his life.
“That is the sigh of a man with woman troubles.” Captain Luke McCracken slapped Bryan on the shoulder and took the stool next to him at the bar. Without even having to ask for it, the bartender slid a bottle of some froufrou craft beer across to Luke.
“What the fuck do you know about woman troubles, Mr. Happily-Living-With-My-Lady-And-Getting-Fucked-Every-Night?” The words came out harsher than Bryan had intended. Luke was his friend; he shouldn’t take out his disappointment in being alone for the night on him. “Sorry man, rough night.”
“No big deal. I’ve had a fair share of my own rough nights. You seem to forget Sophie hated me for two years before I got her to come around.” Luke sipped his beer, watching Bryan from the corner of his eye. “So what’s going on? I thought you were going out with Lexis last night. Did it not go well?”
