Sweet (Uncorked Book 5) Page 7

by Shea Balik

A path of fire raced across Elden’s skin wherever Cabe’s hands touched him. Heat, unlike anything he’d ever known, enveloped his body when they finally got their pants off and Cabe lay fully on top of him. This was going to be Elden’s favorite place. He was sure it would never change either because for the first time in his life, he felt safe, cherished – home.

As soon as the thought had entered his head, it was gone under an onslaught of lust as Cabe kissed, licked and nipped his way from Elden’s lips, along his jaw, then down his neck. He arched up even as his own hands sought out every inch of Cabe’s body that he could.

Well-defined muscles rippled as Elden’s fingers traced a path from chest to abdomen. Emboldened by the way Cabe’s body reacted to him, Elden continued to stroke along his sides to his hips where he changed direction and headed inward along his lower abdomen.

Cabe’s breath caught as Elden neared his dick. His teeth, which had been gently tugging on Elden’s nipple, bit down harder when Elden wrapped his hand around Cabe’s hard length.

They both groaned in desire. Elden had no idea he would enjoy his nipples played with, much less bitten, but his now leaking cock loved every second of it.

“Harder,” Elden pleaded as he arched his back to encourage Cabe.

His dick twitched and his hips bucked when Cabe did as he said with Elden’s other nipple. “Frogs,” he moaned out.

Cabe’s body twitched and his head came up as laughter spilled from his lips. “Did you just say frogs?”

Heat that had nothing to do with what Cabe had been doing to his body and everything to do with the mortification of realizing he’d screwed everything up – again – bloomed through Elden’s body.

“Fuck, that’s pretty,” Cabe breathed out as he stared down at Elden, his gaze skimming up and down, then back up until he was once more looking at Elden. “One day, you need to tell me about this thing you have with frogs and ducks.” His eyes flicked down Elden’s body once more. “But not now. Definitely, not now.”

Elden didn’t need to say anything as Cabe kissed him again. His hand was batted away from Cabe’s dick. Then their cocks were lined up and Cabe’s hand encircled them both.

“Damn, you feel so good,” Cabe moaned.

Elden agreed as his hips bucked to get more friction, not that Cabe let him for he kept his strokes slow and steady. It was frustrating and erotic all at once. Elden had no idea anything could feel this good. It sure hadn’t been anything remotely close to this with Paul.

Forget Paul. He didn’t deserve any thought at a moment like this.

“Shit,” Cabe cursed softly. Then grabbed Elden’s wrists and pinned them to the mattress on either side of his head. Those golden flecks in his hazel eyes burned as if they were on fire. “Don’t move,” he ordered.

Did his dick twitching count as moving? Because Elden didn’t think he would have been able to stop it when Cabe manhandled him like that. Then Cabe was gone.

Elden was just about to panic that he’d actually left when he was crawling back onto the bed from the bottom all the way up Elden’s body. When they were eye to eye and lip to lip, Cabe smiled down at him and said, “Good boy.”

There went his dick again, but either that part of his body didn’t count or Cabe was too busy kissing him to notice. Or, maybe there had been something else Cabe had been paying attention to instead of Elden’s cock.

Slick fingers slid behind Elden’s balls and along his crack. Lube. That had been why Cabe had gotten out of bed. He must have brought a packet of lube with him and left it in his pocket.

Cabe broke their kiss and caught Elden’s nipple between his teeth, tugging, just as a finger slid into Elden’s entrance. The pain and pleasure had Elden hissing as his body arched off the bed.

It had been a long time since anyone had been inside of his body and even one finger had him clenching at the burn from being stretched. But that burn morphed quickly into pleasure. The kind that had him begging for more.

  “Cabe… please.”

A second finger soon joined the first and Elden’s body nearly came unglued from too many sensations at once. Teeth clamped down on his now too sensitive nipple, while the sting of being filled and Cabe’s other hand wrapping around his dick and giving it several tugs short circuited every nerve in Elden’s body.

He arched up. Yet, at the same time, pushed his ass down to drive Cabe further inside of him just before his hips bucked upward into his tight fist. It was all too good, yet all too much.

“Cabe,” he moaned long and low as his head thrashed from side to side. “I need more,” he begged.

His eyelids were heavy as he panted to catch his breath while Cabe continued to do things to his body that Elden had never dreamed of. Things that made him want on a level that was insanity.

The crinkle of a wrapper was just barely heard over him pleading with Cabe for more. It was the only warning he got, as Cabe pulled his fingers free just before something pushed against his entrance.

  “Push out, sweetie,” Cabe crooned.

Elden instantly did as he was told. Fire lanced through his entrance as Cabe filled him to the brim. All of the air in Elden’s lungs was forced from his body as he froze, praying the agony would end. But by the time he even finished that thought the pain morphed as his muscles relaxed, inviting Cabe as deep as possible.

“That’s it, my sweet,” Cabe encouraged when he was seated to the hilt. “God, you feel better than I ever imagined.”

Elden wanted to tell Cabe he did too, but he was too far gone to form any words, as pleasure took him over until he was floating on a cloud of bliss, while Cabe continued to thrust in and out of him. All Elden was capable of was meeting Cabe’s thrusts and stroking the hard muscles of his biceps as Elden held on for the ride of his life.

  CHAPTER 12

Tight heat squeezed him so perfectly. It was a moment of heaven and hell. Heaven to be inside of Elden, who gave his body so beautifully, and hell because Cabe knew it would all be over way too soon. His only consolation was that, if he was lucky, he would be with Elden for the rest of their lives and would get to do this over, and over again.

God, had anyone ever looked as stunning as Elden in the midst of passion? His eyes were nearly black with only a hint of cinnamon around his blown out pupils. His head was thrown back against the mattress as it thrashed back and forth. Lush lips moved in a litany of words Cabe couldn’t begin to understand. His body undulated beneath Cabe, meeting him thrust for thrust.

He was breathtaking. A vision for Cabe’s eyes to feast upon while his body slaked its hunger in his perfect heat. It was a moment Cabe would never forget.

Elden’s breath hitched seconds before a cry fell from his lips. His body froze for a moment, then stream after stream of pearly white fluid splashed upon his chest and abdomen. Those muscles that already gripped Cabe tightly, clamped down on him.

White hot lightning raced up and down Cabe’s spine leaving him breathless as his cock twitched before unloading its contents into the condom. It was the first time Cabe bemoaned having to wear the protective barrier. With Elden he wanted nothing between them.

Too spent to hold himself up any longer, Cabe collapsed, making sure to roll to his side so as not to crush Elden beneath him. Reluctantly, he held onto the base of the condom and pulled free of Elden’s body.

Getting up, he went to the bathroom to dispose of the condom and clean up. Once he was done he took a washcloth, wet it down and went back into the bedroom to wipe Elden clean.

He tossed the washcloth into the bathroom from the bed when he’d finished and wrapped himself around the man who was finding a way to worm further and further into his heart. Just a year ago, Cabe would have told anyone that this couldn’t happen, that they were crazy.

Now? Now, he welcomed the feelings that were opening up inside of him.

“If-if y-you d-don’t want to stay,” Elden started to stammer but Cabe stopped him by kissing him until they were both breat
hless.

Then he stared into the cinnamon-colored eyes he loved looking at and said, “There is no place I would rather be. Now, get some sleep.”

The fear in Elden’s gaze remained as he appeared to be considering saying something but hadn’t made up his mind.

Instantly, Cabe remembered the words Elden had said to him outside. He kissed Elden hard, wanting to take any doubt away about whether or not Cabe enjoyed himself. “Never doubt that being with you was the single best moment of my life.”

Some of that fear ebbed but he could tell not all of it was gone. Elden was going to have to figure it out for himself that Cabe meant every word he’d said. Until then, Cabe would do everything in his power to show him how much he wanted to be with Elden.

“Rise and shine.” Cabe carried a tray with an omelet and a cup of coffee. Well, since Elden didn’t have a tray, Cabe had to get creative and so he was using a cutting board, but it was close enough.

“Huh?” Elden groaned as his eyelids fluttered open. When they landed on what Cabe was carrying, they widened slightly in surprise. “You made me breakfast?” he asked, clearly stunned.

He waited for Elden to sit up and prop up some pillows before taking a seat next to him and placing the food in front of them. Then he picked up the one fork he’d brought, cut up a piece of the omelet and fed it to Elden.

“Mmmm,” Elden moaned. “This is delicious.”

Cabe couldn’t help but preen under the praise before taking a bite for himself. He continued to feed Elden, who surprisingly, didn’t seem to mind or get embarrassed.

“So, do you have to work today?” Cabe asked.

Elden glanced at the clock, and his eyes nearly bugged out of their sockets. “It’s late.” He started to push the tray away but Cabe stopped him.

“You need to eat first. It won’t do you any good to try and work on an empty stomach.” Cabe didn’t really believe that, he just wasn’t ready to give up his time with Elden yet.

Elden frowned. “But I don’t usually even eat breakfast. At most I have a coffee or maybe a protein shake.”

“Well, today, you’re eating breakfast,” Cabe insisted as he fed him another bite. “Is there somewhere you have to be?” As much as Cabe didn’t want to leave, he also didn’t want Elden to miss any appointments either.

“No.” Elden took another bite, swallowing before he finished his answer. “I just have a lot to get done.”

Cabe grinned. “Maybe you could work a little later so we can spend a little more time together,” he suggested, hoping he would be willing to be flexible with his schedule. Cabe generally started work around ten in the morning. He either worked straight through to close, or Jaivon would come in at five and Cabe would get off when the after work crowd calmed down a bit.

Elden seemed to think about Cabe’s request and slowly nodded. “I guess somedays I could do that. But there are times when clients want to meet first thing in the morning.”

Cabe leaned over and kissed Elden, happy they’d come to a compromise. It would have sucked to be on different schedules and not see each other much. “Good, now let’s finish breakfast so we can go take a shower.”

Elden coughed as he choked on the bite he’d just taken. “Together?” he squeaked out when he’d finally managed to speak again.

  Cabe grinned at him. “Together.”

This time when he leaned over, he kissed Elden’s shoulder, then his neck, before placing his lips against his ear. “I still get hard at the image of you wet and naked on New Year’s morning. This time, I’m hoping to do more than just wash you.”

A shiver shook Elden’s body and Cabe chuckled as he kissed the edge of his ear. “You are so adorable.”

  “Frog mushroom,” Elden moaned.

Cabe couldn’t have held back his bark of laughter if he’d wanted to. With the way his love’s entire body flushed the prettiest shade of pink, he definitely wasn’t willing to try and hold it back. “Okay, that’s it. What is this with the frogs and ducks?”

“There’s sheep, too,” Elden admitted before slamming a hand over his mouth as if just realizing he’d said that out loud.

“Now you’ve really got to tell me,” Cabe insisted.

For a moment, he didn’t think Elden was going to do it, but then his stiff shoulders dropped and he sighed. “It’s nothing really. Just my idiotic way of swearing without, you know, swearing.”

Elden told him about his mother’s aversion to swearing and his unique way of getting around that rule. The story gave Cabe more insight into just how cunning Elden could be when he wanted to. But even more than that, Cabe was proven right. Elden was far braver than he thought.

In his own way, Elden had rebelled against his mother’s harsh rules and stood up to her when he could. Sure, it wasn’t the typical rebellion of many teenagers, but then again, Elden was anything but typical. He was so much more than average and Cabe looked forward to learning even more about him.

“Come on, my sweet rebel,” Cabe said as he put the now empty tray on the bedside table and stood up with his hand out to Elden. When he didn’t even hesitate to take it, Cabe felt his chest swell with pride. “It’s time to slick us both up and see what happens.”

That lovely blush swept along Elden’s body once more. It caused Cade’s cock to twitch. His sweetie must have noticed, for his gaze went to Cade’s groin and stared with a hunger that had his semi-erect dick filing out until it was jutting proudly from his body.

Yep. This shower was going to prove very interesting.

  CHAPTER 13

“Of course, I can change it, but then we’ll need to meet so I can get a better understanding of what your definition of blue is.” Elden took off his glasses and pressed the bridge of his nose between his finger and his thumb.

He was getting a monster headache and based on the last two phone calls with different clients, it was only going to get worse.

“What do you mean, ‘my definition of blue,’” the client, Mr. Salisburg yelled into the phone. “It’s blue. What more can I say?”

Elden had to count to ten in order not to hang up on the man. But he’d put hundreds of hours into his complex website to not be paid because the man didn’t know what shade of blue he wanted. Or, if he did, he had no idea what its name was.

“Like I said, the design I gave incorporated three shades of blue, all of which you didn’t like.” Elden tried very hard not to sound snippy, but he wasn’t sure he was pulling it off. “If we set up a meeting, I will bring a color chart so you can point to the kind of blue you were hoping for. It will only take me a day to incorporate your choice into the web design and have it up and running.”

Mr. Salisburg grumbled about there not being that many blues. Boy was he in for a shock when Elden brought him the color chart with hundreds of various shades of the one color. “Fine,” he agreed. “I have an opening in an hour. Can you make it?”

Elden nodded, not really in answer since the client couldn’t see him, but more because he’d finally gotten the man to agree to meet. “Yes,” Elden assured him. “I will be there.”

It would be tight, since the drive to Helen was forty-five minutes, but Elden didn’t have anything else going on, so he’d be able to make the appointment fairly easily. Packing up, he glanced at the bar, disappointed when Cabe wasn’t there.

“Hey, Vicki,” he called out to one of the waitress. “Is Cabe around?”

She pointed to the back. “He’s checking in a shipment of food. Plus, I think one of the beer distributors is back there.”

No way was Elden interrupting Cabe. If he didn’t stay on top of those food supplies, they often tried to give him rotting fruit or rotting meat. It was bad enough he’d be distracted by the beer distributor.

“Can you tell him I had to meet a client in Helen and will be back later?” he asked Vicki, who assured him she would.

It as a fifty/fifty shot she would give him the message but Cabe could always call Elden
if he was looking for him. Quickly, Elden hurried out the door. His car was parked in the parking lot near his apartment all the way across the square, so he didn’t have time to dawdle.

He wasn’t sure how he’d managed to get to the car without anyone stopping him to chat, but Elden was grateful as he started up his car. The cold made it cough before it began purring to life. Thanking whoever was looking out for him, Elden pulled out of the parking lot and headed to Helen.

The ride was pretty, and Elden couldn’t help but wish Cabe were there with him. It had been nearly a month since they’d had their first official date and Elden couldn’t be happier. Cabe genuinely seemed to want to spend as much time as he could with him, which was fine by him.

Elden now mostly worked from the bar, only operating from home when he really needed to get something done without distractions. They both started working when Cabe had to be at the bar for his opening prep work and they generally went home together when the bar closed.

Even though Cabe’s home was by far bigger and nicer, as it was an actual home and not some dinky little apartment on the square, they’d spend half their nights at Cabe’s house and half at Elden’s. If Elden had his way, they’d spend all their time at Cabe’s. He could see himself in the kitchen cooking them dinner or him puttering around in the yard planting flowers in the spring.

In his wilder fantasies, Elden envisioned a couple of kids running around the backyard. He wasn’t sure Cabe would want kids but Elden did, especially with Cabe. A boy and a girl. He’d even named them. Neil and Hazel.

He knew it was stupid to think about kids when they hadn’t even had their one month anniversary yet, but Elden couldn’t stop wondering what it would be like to have forever with Cabe. He’d daydreamed the whole way to Helen, instead of worrying about his client meeting, which was probably a good thing since he really didn’t like the guy he was about to meet.

Mr. Salisburg reminded him of one of his mom’s many boyfriends. The ones that always seemed to look down on him. At least he ran a specialty gift shop that sold mostly German themed woodcarvings, so they wouldn’t be alone, as the store was fairly busy whenever Elden had been there in the past.
